Burna Boy tops chart as he becomes the first artiste to reach 100M streams on Boomplay

Grammy winner, Burna Boy has bagged another worthwhile achievement as he becomes the first music artiste to reach 100 Million streams on the music app, Boomplay.

The singer is gradually followed by other top-notch musicians such as Fireboy and Olamide.

Burna Boy's African Giant album has to its credit a total of 29 Million stream, before the arrival of the award-winning 'Twice as Tall' which garnered one million streams within the space of 24 hours after it was released on the streaming app.


'Twice as Tall' in a space of 8 months, later recorded over 45 Million streams on Boomplay, all of these combined ranks Burna Boy as the first artiste to have achieved this great feat.

Popular actor and winner of the Big Brother Africa season 5, Uti Nwachukwu has issued out some invaluable advice as regards sustaining relationship among partners.

The 38 years old TV presenter laid emphasis on the need for perseverance and endurance in any relationship while maintaining that anyone who does not possess this intrinsic attitude definitely has no business with getting married.

"We are so obsessed with relationships yet we have refused to accept the inconvenient truths about em. If acute (not chronic) cheating is the reason you leave your relationship, then you have no business being in one in the first place not to talk of marrying!

As long as you have a partner that is kind to u, provides for u, spends adequate time with u/does not Neglect u emotionally&physically- Then what else do u really want?

Truth is, it is EXTREMELY hard for humans to be sexually committed to ONE human for the rest of their Lives!

Let's be real and think about it. So You are expected to be physically intimate with one person for the rest of your life? (Even if you marry in your 20s?) Lol.

ANALOGY – Starch and Banga is super tasty and ur favourite but there are days you wake up craving king prawns with special fried rice.

FYI,if banga is forcd down ur throat, u might end up resenting banga for a LONG TIME.

I feel the needless pressure of monogamy has/is still destroying relationships. NOT TO SAY IT DOESNT WORK O! But most LONG TERM monogamous relationshps are pretentious,hypocritical and sad. YET they are the ones quick to judge and pressure others living freely.

This is a real non judgemental conversation EVERYONE should have with themselves and their intending partners so u don't lead anyone into depression via deceit.

Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri seems to be unperturbed about the snub she recently got from the organizers of the Eko awards after her husband spiced up her day with a humorous surprise.

The mother of one who had previously cried out over her omission in the Eko Star Film & TV Awards, due to the fact that she does not belong to a clique, recently shared a video of how her husband wiped away her tears.

Ruth Kadiri disclosed that her husband got a bottle of stout as a replacement for the award she missed out on.

Afrobeat star, Efemena Blanco takes to social media to flaunt her father's expensive mansion which she said houses about 50 rooms and 15 parlours in Delta State.

Taking to her Instagram page to reveal the magnificent edifice, the singer recalled how she used to tell her friends that her father had such a gigantic building but they adamantly refused to believe.

According to Efemena, she just chose to hint to the public on how her background looks like.

On-air personality, Toke Makinwa has given a disturbing update on how she feels after she took the AstraZeneca vaccine, all in a bid to counter the spread of the Corona Virus disease (COVID-19).

Toke Makinwa who took the vaccine yesterday has disclosed that she is not feeling too well, which sends shivers down the spine of many as regards the authenticity of the vaccine.


In an Insta-story session, she asserted that her head and back hurt badly, as well as her eye sockets alongside severe body pains and she feels extremely tired after the vaccination exercise.

The singer made this honest assertion during an interview with Chude Jideonwo, in the #WithJudeshow, where he revealed that when he met Davido, he only knew how to write songs and nothing more, but the DMW boss boosted his spirit and impacted in him the spirit of self-confidence and boldness.

Kanye West files divorce documents, seeks joint custody of children in Kim Kardashian divorce

Kanye West is seeking joint legal and physical custody of his four children with Kim Kardashian in their ongoing divorce.

On Friday, April 9, the rapper's attorneys filed his response in Los Angeles superior court to Kardashian West's February divorce filing to end their six-and-a-half-year marriage.

According to TMZ, Kanye's response to Kardashian's February divorce filing is "basically a mirror image" of his estranged wife's petition,  agreeing that the marriage should end over irreconcilable differences and that the two should share custody of their children: North, age 7, Saint, age 5, Chicago, age 3, and Psalm, who turns 2 next month.


And like Kardashian West's filing, West's asks that the court's right to award spousal support to either person be terminated.

According to Kardashian West's 19 February petition, the two have a pre-nuptial agreement, and under it, they kept their property separate throughout their marriage.

Reno Omokri reacts to Twitter’s choice to open HQ in Ghana, not Nigeria

Following the decision of Twitter to open it's headquarters in Ghana, social media users, including Reno Omokri, have reacted to this news.

Reno took to his Twitter page to drag Buhari's administration for retrogression in development.

According to him, even Grammy award winners @Burna Boy and @Wizkid prefer Ghana to Nigeria.

Here's what he tweeted;

"After what @GokadaNG went through in Nigeria, coupled with the ill-advised lawsuit a @MBuhari acolyte filed against them, there is very little chance that a company like @Twitter, or any other nonexploitative Western firm will invest in Nigeria until this regime (of virus) goes

Nollywood actress Oloruntimilehin Bukola popularly called Kiitan, has accused Seyi Tinubu, the son of National Leader of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of assaulting her.

“May What Ada Jesus Did To Me Befall You And Your Generation” Rita Edochie “Prays” For Those Criticizing Her

After people called her out for vowing not to forgive comedienne, Ada Jesus, 23, after she became paralyzed, actress, Rita Edochie has responded with a scornful prayer.

Recall that the comedienne had accused Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanemere Odumejeje of staging miracles with the help of Rita Edochie and others. She also accused Rita of promiscuity and said she helps the actress get men to sleep with her.

Now, Ada Jesus is suffering a kidney disease and her family took her to Odumejeje's church to beg for forgiveness.

Odumejeje said he will not forgive her until she produces those she claims he connives with to stage miracles and Rita said Ada Jesus will not recover from the ailment because of the lies she spread about her.

Later, Rita Edochie released a video, revealing she has received numerous calls about the issue and she has forgiven Ada Jesus from her heart.

Despite that, people continued to criticize Rita for withholding forgiveness initially. They questioned why she thinks she can play God.

The actress has now gone on Instagram to say a "prayer" for her critics.

She said that if they say what Ada Jesus did to her is OK by them, then may such befall them and their entire generations.

Myleene Klass ‘Left In Tears’ After Uber Driver ‘Spits On Her’

After an Uber driver reportedly spat on her when she was on her way to present her Smooth Radio show, British singer Myleene Klass was said to be left in tears

The 43-year-old former Hear'Say singer was reportedly involved in a disagreement with the driver about where he should drop her off when the alleged incident took place.

The 43-year-old said she was forced to flee the taxi on Friday April 9.

As the mom-of-three headed into Global's London headquarters half an hour before her show started, it's said she was visibly shaken.

Photographers waiting nearby stopped to ask if she was okay.

The singer has since made a report of assault to the police.

A source told The Sun UK; "Myleene was shocked that he spat on her. She panicked and felt trapped, worried that she wouldn't be able to get out.

"She was really shaken by the incident and wanted to get out of the car as quickly as possible when the driver turned nasty.

"She was relieved it happened in a public place."

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said in a statement; "Police are investigating an allegation of assault.

"The complainant, a 43-year-old woman, was allegedly spat at as she left a private hire vehicle in Charing Cross Road, WC2H at around 09:30hrs on Friday, 9 April. There have been no arrests and enquiries continue."

Nollywood actress, Chioma Ifemeludike has cried out about not being able to afford luxury cars and lifestyles like her mates in the Nollywood industry.

In a recent interview with Legit.ng, Chioma revealed that at a point in her acting career, she almost dumped it because there were little or no returns for her value and effort.

Here's what she said;

"I see lots of Girls buying Big cars, I don't know how they are able to buy them. I haven't been able to buy any of such luxurious cars. I have told myself that one day I would ask somebody because the cars I see online are just so intimidating; Range Rover, Benz, and the likes. Sometimes I sit and ask if it's my village people that are behind my slow progress. I'm a very strong spiritual person. I'm not religious but then I put my head down. I would get there it's the reassurance that keeps me going"
