So what?” – Don Jazzy opens up on rumour of being broke (Video) Posted: 03 Apr 2021 11:00 PM PDT  Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy clears the air on his financial state after rumour circulated of the producer being broke and living in a rented house.Don Jazzy made this known during a chat with popular TV host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on the BlackBox interview series. The chat started with questions on his newly acquired house and why he decided to show it off on social media. "I have several houses but this one I like more. Besides I already saw moving around the house in the morning. I didn't want them to go and report the story the way I won't like. Because I have been staying there for about a month or two," he said. "As I saw those people moving around in the morning with cameras and by evening I had not seen any news I just said lemme just kuku post my house jeje before they will come and talk one long story. I don't want wahala." On the issue of living in a rent house, Don Jazzy said there weren't even rumours or anything related that he was hiding. "I'm not one of those people who are big on…you can't use house to buga me. I have a lot of investments with like N300M to N400M than to use it for a house. Business-wise I have a lot of investments that money is going to do better than buying a house," he said. "I'm not one of those people who care about the 'do you have a house' conversation. | Ned Nwoko says that Northerners who marry four wives are helping the society and their population Posted: 03 Apr 2021 08:00 AM PDT  Ned Nwoko, the billionaire husband of actress Regina Daniels, says marrying more than one wife helps save the society.Nwoko in an interview with BBC Igbo, said the average northerner has at least two wives and this helps the society by preventing women from venturing into prostitution. In his words "The average Northerner marrying two, three, four women, they are helping the society because it is the economic downturn that has affected so many women who you see doing prostitution and all that. But the fallacy of it all is that Christianity does not allow that in the South and yet, the average Southern man has 10 girlfriends." Speaking further, Nwoko said the polygamist nature of northerners has helped to increase their population and made them the majority in the country. "I love my culture as I know it, not as they are trying to dilute it. Igbo culture is wonderful and should be promoted the way it has always been. According to the actor, some people leave Nigerian because they seek to maximize their potential and live in peace. | Archbishop Of Canterbury Breaks Silence On Harry And Meghan’s Secret Wedding Claims Posted: 03 Apr 2021 04:00 AM PDT  The Archbishop of Canterbury has addressed for the first time the remark made by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle that he conducted a private wedding for them at a secret ceremony before their Windsor Castle wedding.Breaking his silence on what the couple told Oprah Winfrey in an interview, Justin Welby said he signed Harry and Meghan's wedding certificate on the day millions watched them marry. The legal wedding was on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at St George's Chapel, he said. In her interview, Meghan told Oprah Winfrey that she and Harry were married "just the two of us in our backyard with the Archbishop of Canterbury." Harry chipped in, adding, "Just the three of us." But the 65-year-old told an Italian newspaper yesterday, March 30: "The legal wedding was on the Saturday." He was asked "what happened with Meghan and Harry? Did you really marry them three days before the official wedding?" He said: "The legal wedding was on the Saturday. I signed the wedding certificate, which is a legal document, and I would have committed a serious criminal offence if I signed it knowing it was false. "So you can make what you like about it. But the legal wedding was on the Saturday. But I won't say what happened at any other meetings." The Archbishop of Canterbury declined to provide further details on his discussions with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle prior to their nuptials. "If any of you ever talk to a priest, you expect them to keep that talk confidential. It doesn't matter who I'm talking to." he said "I had a number of private and pastoral meetings with the duke and duchess before the wedding… But I won't say what happened at any other meetings." This is coming after photos of the DMW Records boss kissing his newly found love, Mya Yafai, leaked online. A recent post by Kemi Olunloyo alleged that Davido has been handed back the bride price he paid on his fiancee, which automatically makes his son, Ifeanyi Jr, the last born of Chioma's family according to the Igbo tradition of a child born out of wedlock. Taking to Instagram Kemi Olunloyo wrote;  "Chioma's bride price has been refunded. You can now stop fasting and praying for David." If Kemi Olunloyo's claim is true, it is the end of the road for Davido and Chioma's relationship for good; except the duo figures out a way to reach a compromise and probably crown it with a marriage.  |
| Halima Abubakar Advises Nigerians On How To Handle People With Suicidal Thoughts Posted: 03 Apr 2021 02:30 AM PDT  Curvy screen diva, Halima Abubakar, has thrown support for those going through hard times in her latest post on social media.The beautiful role interpreter, on Wednesday morning, March 31, 2021, shared an image of how the society can help to prevent suicide. She added a note urging against suicide, saying suicide is not the answer. She said she is aware it is hard for people nursing suicidal thoughts to open up about whatever they are going through while clarifying that talking about it is a starting point to finding a solution to their challenges. Advising the society at large, Halima Abubakar's post stipulates the need to accept suicide as real illness instead of dismissing it as sadness or just a phase. She also pointed out the importance of checking on loved ones and not expecting those with suicidal thoughts to reach out first. The actress warned against bullying, whether in real life or online, because depression can be invisible and it is important to know. Halima Abubakar's post is coming barely a day after she counseled her followers against calling people 'old'. | Posted: 03 Apr 2021 02:00 AM PDT  David Adefeso, ex-boyfriend to singer and reality star; Tamar Braxton, has taken legal action against her after she accused him of cheating while they were together.The American celeb had revealed the alleged infidelity on Twitter few days ago, while responding to a fan who wants them to get back together. She claimed he was cheating with his then assistant, who is now his chief financial officer. Tamar Braxton wrote, "He was cheating with his then assistant now cfo since 2019 Jessica… God fixed it…" The US-based-Nigerian financial advisor has responded with a cease and desist against her, claiming she damaged his reputation by recently tweeting false statements about his cheating ways, which led to several news articles he found unflattering. In the docs, obtained by TMZ, David says Tamar knew she was lying when she tweeted, and he wants her to delete it, issue a retraction and stop dragging his name through the mud. David told the publication that he's disappointed she "continues to make fabricated accusations about our relationship and has now created a false narrative of an affair that never occurred." He also said he never gave another woman a second look when they were dating. Tamar Braxton and David Adefeso, who both first met in May 2018, went their separate ways in 2020 after they accused each other of domestic violence.  |
| Posted: 03 Apr 2021 01:30 AM PDT  Finally, after almost one year of announcing their engagement, wedding bells are ringing for celebrity couple Jeannie Mai and Jeezy.TMZ, gathered that the couple filed for a marriage license in Fulton County, Georgia, on Monday, March 29, meaning they have to tie the knot within six months. The "Real" co-host and the rapper began dating in late 2018 and got engaged in March 2020 after their trip to Vietnam was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. "Jeannie and Jay were set for a trip to Vietnam this April. What Jeannie didn't know is that Jay was planning to propose," her camp told People, noting Jeezy surprised Mai with a quarantine date night in his home filled with Vietnamese food and decor."  The potential wedding news comes after Jeezy lost his mother Sandra Rose last month. Jeezy's mother's death came months after his beloved wife-to-be Jeannie also suffered severe health problems. Mai had to quit Dancing With the Stars last fall amid medical challenges that led her to undergo emergency surgery on her throat. She was hospitalized with a condition called epiglottitis. This will be Mai's second marriage, as she split from ex-husband Freddy Harteis in 2017 after 10 years of marriage. Jeezy is the father of three children from previous relationships.  |
