Actress Ada Ameh slams Actress Bukky Black for supporting Baba Ijesha

Actress Ada Ameh has slammed Actress Bukky Black for supporting Actor Baba Ijesha who was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor.

We reported earlier that Bukky who spoke in Yoruba in a video shared online, placed a curse on people who kick others when they are down.

She added that Ijesha who is being accused of a crime he committed 7 years ago without evidence, was set up 7 years later because he got popular in the movie industry.

Bukky further said she wants people to look for a solution to the issue on ground and that she doesn't care if she's insulted for airing her opinion.

Reacting to this Ada Ameh stated that Bukky is not supposed to be counted among women. Ameh who maintained that entertainers are one in spite of the movie industry they belong to, described the veteran Yoruba actress as a "stupid woman" who is ignoring the pains of having a child.

She also maintained that an injustice against one woman is an injustice against all.

American rapper, The Game, has revealed how one can test the loyalty of friends in their circle.

In a tweet, the California rapper, 41, advised that one should share five different stories with five mutual friends and ask them to keep the stories to themselves, while waiting to see which of the information may get leaked.

Tony Payne Warns Yomi Fabiyi Against ‘Victim Intimidation’

Tony Payne, a Poet and former talent manager, issues a note of warning to Nigerian actor Yomi Fabiyi on his roles in defending embattled thespian Baba Ijesha.

Tony Payne, via her Instagram stories, explained what she discussed with her lawyer friend on the part being played by Fabiyi in calling for the arrest of those kicking against Baba Ijesha's alleged molestation of a minor.

The former music publicist said Fabiyi's unlawful act is 'victim intimidation' in America. She also suggested that there could be more to his involvement for him to be trying so hard to shut the victims up.

"Was speaking to a lawyer friend of mine today and he said what that Yoruba actor guy is doing is called Victim Intimidation. I'm not sure how the law works in Nigeria, but in America, more specifically Cali, it's a crime.

"Especially if the case hasn't gone to court…..I'm like but from his activities online, seems he is more concerned about 'arresting' the victims than the actual criminal".

"Laywer friend said there has to be more to his involvement because he wouldn't be trying so hard to intimidate the victims otherwise. I totally agree!"

Recall, Baba Ijesha was reportedly said to molest comedienne Princess' foster daughter when she was age seven and was caught on tape while sexually assaulting the girl again at age 14.

Baba Ijesha has since been in police custody.

Following the death of Pastor Adeboye's son, popular Nigerian music star, Vector, shared a tweet, which was perceived as a reaction to his demise.

Vector's post had social media buzzing with a number of internet users bashing him for it.

Recall that the 42-year-old pastor reportedly died in his sleep on Tuesday, May 5, in Eket, Akwa Ibom state.

Vector shared a tweet where he asked people who wanted to see the next year to make some noise. He did this in the similar way pastors are known to do with their congregation.

He wrote: "If you know you want to see Next year make some noise noooooise ." See the tweet below:
Before long, the post ruffled a lot of feathers on social media with people dragging the rapper over claims that he was insensitive. Some others, however, said they did not see the connection of his post with Pastor Dare Adeboye's death.

The use of Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo Kuti's name/image on clothes bearing 'Jagaban', has been condemned by relatives of the legend.

Jagaban is one of the nicknames of a prominent politician and former Lagos Governor, Bola Tinubu.
 
The traditional title was conferred on the All Progressives Congress (APC) leader by the Emir of Borgu in Niger State, Haliru Dantoro Kitoro.

Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, campaign materials bearing the Tinubu or Jagaban or Asiwaju (Tinubu's traditional title in Lagos) have appeared in circulation.

In a statement, Fela's son, Femi said he saw the tweet by the APC and confirmed Fela's name on the T-shirts bearing 'Jagaban' was never authorized.

Femi declared that the family owns the trademark and the use of it constitutes an infringement and disregard of their legal rights.

The Afrobeat star warned the party to desist from using Fela's image, adding that the family does not align with any political party in Nigeria or beyond.

"We are carefully assessing the situation and failure to comply with this demand will leave us with no other option but to explore any legal options that are available to us", he added.

Pastor Adeboye hosts holy ghost communion service following son’s death

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, hosted the May edition of the monthly holy ghost communion service just hours after his son, Dare Adeboye died.

The whole country was left in a mourning state some hours ago when Pastor Dare Adeboye was pronounced dead at the age of 42.

Dare Adeboye was said to have died in his sleep on Wednesday in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, where he was based with his family.

However, that didn't stop Pastor Adeboye from preaching the word of God at the redemption camp.

Pastor Adeboye during the service spoke on the importance of the bread and wine of the Holy Communion.

The clergyman, in his sermon, said, "The bread multiplied in the hands of the disciples, as you receive the bread, it will multiply in your hands."

Though Pastor Adeboye kept mute on the passing of his son, it was obvious that the clergyman was still mourning his beloved son.

Officiating minister at the gathering gave an hint after the sermon when they said, "Our Daddy has prayed for us. He was supposed to be here physically but due to circumstances beyond his control, he couldn't make it."

Olusegun Bamgbose explains why God did not reveal death of Dare to his father, Pastor Adeboye

National Coordinator, Concerned Advocates for Good Governance, CAGG, Olusegun Bamgbose sheds light on God's reasons for not revealing the death of Dare to his father, Pastor Adeboye.

It would be recalled that Pastor Enoch Adeboye's son, Dare, died yesterday at the age of 42, after which his last birthday video surfaced on the internet.

According to Mr Olusegun Bamgbose, the passing of the young man who took after his dad's gospel practice is indeed a painful one, DAILY POST reported.

Adding to his point, he affirmed that Pastor Adeboye is in fact a beloved soul to God which is why his son's death came without warning to avoid a situation where God may not be able to reject his plea to spare his son.

"Ordinarily, no father prays for such occurrence. This is no doubt an auspicious time for the family he left behind," he stated.

"It's really a thing of pride to have his son taking after him, but unfortunately he left before his father and mother. It's so painful.

"I will however with all humility ask my mentor to take heart, no need to sorrow or weep, Pastor Dare is already in Heaven.

"He was called home in accordance with the will of God. God never revealed it to Pastor Adeboye because He is God and moreover, God may not be able to resist the entreaties of Pastor Adeboye for his son to be spared if He had revealed it to him.

"Pastor Adeboye is a man dearly loved by God because of his humility. In 1994, I attended his crusade in Ibadan, where he surprisingly prophesied the emergence of a South West person becoming the President of Nigeria, to be sincere, I doubted the prophecy.

"Eventually the prophecy came to pass 5 years after, that was in 1999, Olusegun Obasanjo was elected President. May the Lord console him at this critical time," he said.
