The media personality shared the sad news on Twitter with a tribute which expressed how agonizing it is.  Kemi also described her father as her "guy and friend".

She tweeted;

My daddy died. I can't breathe. That's my guy , my friend. What am I going to do now ? If I'm missing , I'm not lost . I'm just trying to remember how to breathe . Don't ask if I'm okay, I'm not .

Jamil Abubakar, son-in-law of Africa's richest man Aliko Dangote has shared screenshot of a DM he got from a follower on social media who asked him for $135m.

Jamil who is the son of former IG of police, Mohammed Dikko Abubakar, revealed that he's gotten some requests in the past, but this request is the greatest of all of them.

He tweeted;

I mean I have received some requests in this life, but this is by far the GOAT, he is asking for $135 million USD if I'll be kind.

Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy has confirmed that he has a new album coming and in this next album, he says "I need you to hear the pain in my voice."

Although he's yet to reveal the date of release, the singer whose last album "Twice As Tall" won Best Global Music Album at the 2021 Grammys shared a series of tweets about his next album saying:

This next album. I need you to hear the pain in my voice, The pain of an OUTSIDER, Forever marked by my skin ,my past and the place I come from No matter how skilled I am or how honourable I proved myself.

Rapper, Vector says he did not mock Dare Adeboye’s death with his tweet

Rapper, Vector, has said his tweet was not aimed at mocking the Adeboyes over the death of Pastor Dare Adeboye.

On May 6, the same day RCCG General Overseer lost his son  Vector had tweeted: ' " If you know you want to see Next year make some noise noooooise " '

He added a laughing face emoji.

Nigerians assumed he was mocking the Adeboyes and they called him out for it.

He has now said his tweet had nothing to do with the Adeboyes.

He wrote: "Oh don't get this wrong… It's not about church. It's about a performance I remembered."


Yet, people didn't accept his explanation and they continued calling him out.



He has now called his critics out, writing: "If you really believe I Ogunmefun Olanrewaju will mock pastor Adeboye because he lost his son, you are a fool."

Earlier this week, Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates announced their divorce. On that same day, Melinda Gates became a billionaire.

Cascade Investment, Bill Gate's investment vehicle, transferred nearly $2.4 billion in securities to Melinda Gates on Monday. The next day his net worth dropped slightly, from $130.4 billion to $128.1 billion, according to Forbes.

However, Bill Gates maintained his status as the fourth richest person in the world. He falls behind Jeff Bezos ($177 billion), Elon Musk ($157 billion) and Bernard Arnault and family ($150 billion).

Melinda Gates received 2.94 million shares of AutoNation and 14.1 million shares of Canadian National Railway Co., according to Forbes. AutoNation is worth $309 million and Canadian National Railway Co. is worth an estimated $1.5 billion.

Melinda Gates also received 25.8 million shares of Mexico-based Coca-Cola Femsa — worth $120 million — and 155.4 million shares of Mexican broadcaster Grupo Televisa SA — worth $386 million.

Up until 2000, Bill was Microsoft's CEO, and he later moved out of a daily role with the company in 2008. Until 2014, he served as chairman of the board and announced just last year he was stepping down to focus on philanthropy.

In 2000, the couple founded The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, a nonprofit organization that has spent more than $53 billion since its formation to target poverty and inequity worldwide, according to the foundation's website.

Melinda Gates, who was a product manager at Microsoft, met Bill Gates at a business dinner in New York City. They were married in Hawaii in 1994.

The couple's divorce filings show they asked a judge in Washington state to divide their assets based on the terms of a separation contract, usually issued when spouses are living apart but have not yet divorced, according to Forbes.

The terms of the contract weren't disclosed.

Singer, Davido's first child Imade is celebrating her young sister on her birthday.

Imade has taken to her social media page to celebrate Hailey as she turned a year older. Hailey turned 4 on Sunday, May 9, and Imade shared a photo of the little girl on her official Instagram page. Imade also shared a photo with Hailey and it showed the great resemblance between the girls.

In the caption that accompanied the photos, Imade described Hailey as beautiful. Davido's firstborn went on to tell her sister that she loves her so much. Imade then assured Hailey that she's got her back forever.

In other news, Davido earlier got a car for his first child as an early birthday gift. The singer's first child, Imade, turns six on May 15 and it appears the singer could not contain his joy so he did what only Davido knows how to do best – splash millions of naira on a car for the little girl.

Embattled Ivorian lady, Oye Kyme exposes Bobrisky as she reveals atrocities committed behind the camera against Tonto Dikeh, Iyabo Ojo, and others while faking good personality on social media.

This is coming after Bobrisky denied claims of assaulting Oye whom he once treated lavishly after she drew his tattoo on her body.

BBNaija reality star, Mercy Eke has finally responded to rumour making rounds that she was involved in a relationship with star footballer, Aaron Samuel.

Reality star and brand influencer, Mercy Eke is accused of allegedly having an affair with professional footballer, Aaron Samuel, as it leads to the crash of his marriage.

Aaron Samuel's marriage has been under the spotlight for the past few days, with reports circulating that he has been cheating on his wife, Chinwe.

An official release date for the forthcoming film will be announced soon.

Nollywood filmmaker Oyin Laz has shared the official trailer for her latest production, 'Sin City' directed by ace director, Muyiwa Ademola.

Shot in 2020 in different parts of Lagos, the story written by Oyin Laz spotlights the increasing hard drugs abuse problem in Nigeria.

The action drama follows the story of police investigators who embark on a dangerous mission to hunt down a deadly drug cartel. Its ensemble cast include Joke Silva, Segun Arinze, Toyin Abraham, Lateef Adedimeji, Tope Tedela, Lizzy Jay and Oyin Laz.

Recall a first-look at the forthcoming feature film debuted in 2020 shortly after principal photography wrapped up in Lagos. In the teaser, Joke Silva stars as a character on a wheel chair. An official release date will reportedly be announced in the coming weeks.

Obi Emelonye's Ibrahim Babaginda biopic 'Badamasi' gets release date

Obi Emelonye's anticipated biopic 'Badamasi' is finally coming to the screens. The US-based filmmaker recently announced an official release date for the film via his Instagram handle.

While Emelonye did not clarify the medium of release, he confirmed that fans will finally be able to experience the film from June 12, 2021. "It's here...finally! June 12 unraveled on June 12," the filmmaker wrote.

The Obi Emelonye directed biopic garnered a lot of media attention due to its delayed release in 2019. Originally slated for a November 29 release, the film's delayed cinema release was reportedly influenced by 'powerful people' who did not want the film in circulation.

In an exclusive interview with Pulse, the award-winning filmmaker told Pulse that it took him four years to convince the General to grant him permission to work on the story.

Shot in Lagos, Minna, Abuja and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, the film portrays the former Nigerian military head of state as a man with flaws but a deep sense of patriotism.

'Badamasi' stars Enyinna Nwigwe as Ibrahim Babaginda alongside Charles Inojie, Sani Danja, Yakubu Mohammed, Okey Bakassi, Kalu Ikeagwu, Julius Agwu and Erick Didie.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, and actress, Erica Nlewedim, has been called out by her fan for kissing a man in a movie.

The Igbo born actress and model shared a screenshot of the message she received from the obsessed fan cussing and scolding her for locking lips in a movies.

"I hope you guys do some medical examination or tests before kissing people in movies? You can't be kissing actors in every romantic scene because you are an actress. If you are not careful, you will endup kissing all the men in the movie industry."

"That is not good for a single lady like you, you have to be careful. Take a cue from Adesua Etomi, Omotola Ekeinde, Chioma Chukwuka and other. They don't act romantic scenes."

The fan continued to scold Erica, "You have to learn to reject some movie roles for your own dignity".
