Popular actress and model, Juliana Olayode popularly known as Toyo Baby of Jenifa's Diary have revealed the main reason why quit acting.

Toyo Baby became a sensation in the movie industry after featuring in Jenifa's Diary but she has not been making an appearance in movies for the past few months.

Speaking in a recent interview, the beautiful screen diva stated that she put an end to her acting career because of kissing scenes.

According to Toyo Baby, during auditions, she's always asked to kiss as well as in a movie but she has vowed to kiss only her husband.

Femi Kuti reacts as his dad, Fela, misses out as an inductee of the 2021 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Femi Anikulapo-Kuti, the first son of late Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Kuti, has spoken out after his dad missed out as an inductee of the 2021 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame despite coming second in the fan vote category with over 500,000 votes.

Back in February, the Nigerian icon was announced as one of the nominees alongside other veteran stars such as Mary J. Blige, Kate Bush, Devo, Foo Fighters, The Go-Go's, Iron Maiden, Jay-Z, Chaka Khan, Carole King, LL Cool J, New York Dolls, Rage Against the Machine, Todd Rundgren, Tina Turner, and Dionne Warwick.

At that time, music lovers were urged to cast their votes for their favorite stars through April 30, on Hall's website as the 2021 inductees will be announced in May, with the ceremony to take place in Cleveland in October.


Today, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame revealed its 2021 inductees and Fela Kuti missed out despite coming second in the fan vote category ahead of The Go-Go's, Todd Rundgren, Carole King, Foo Fighters, and others who  were selected to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.


However, his son Femi Kuti has offered an update on the situation, saying there was another voting process that was carried out by only the organizers of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to decide the inductees.

In his words, he said: "Apparently there's another vote only members can take part in, and that's what counts. So they kind of wasted our precious time, the positive side #Fela was trending and many who never heard of him got to hear his music and his story ."

Baba Ijesha: Iyabo Ojo Sues Yomi Fabiyi, Demands N100m

Popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has taken legal action against her colleague, Yomi Fabiyi, and has demanded N100m as payment for damages caused by his 'defamatory publication'.

As earlier reported, Fabiyi staged a protest demanding the bail and release of Baba Ijesha who has been held by the police for allegedly molesting a minor.

In a letter written by Ojo's lawyers, The Maverick Forte Legal, it was said that during Fabiyi's protest defamatory statements were inscribed on placards some of which read, "Nigeria Police please allow the law to dictate to you not Iyabo Ojo, Princess and co. Please release Baba Ijesha."

Another read, "Iyabo Ojo and Princess promised to kill Baba Ijesha if released on bail in this era??"

Ojo, through her lawyers, denied making any statement to kill Baba Ijesha or unlawfully interfering with the statutory responsibilities of the Nigeria Police Force.

The letter read in part, "Take further notice that consequent upon your false, odious, malicious, vexatious and ludicrous statement and publication against our client which were broadcasted through your Instagram handle, viewed by a huge number of people and further published by several online blogs and newspaper outlets stemming from your orchestrated scheme that has so far damaged our client's hard-earned reputation, vilify her integrity, rubbish her professional career as a businesswoman, entertainer and artiste, and more so caused our clients children grievous trauma and anxiety since the publication of your defamatory statement.

"It is expedient to state that your defamatory publication has lowered our client's estimation in the eyes of right-thinking members of the society. Our client has equally suffered huge stigmatisation by business partners, mental agony, restlessness, public scorn, emotional distress, professional indignation, intense psychological trauma, vilification and financial losses by the sudden withdrawal of business patronage by clients and customers."

Ojo's lawyers further demanded that within 14 days, Fabiyi "publishes a full retraction of the said defamatory publication on his Instagram handle for seven consecutive days and acknowledge that the allegations are false, misleading and entirely defamatory of client's character."

They added that the retraction and public apology must further be circulated and published by select media outlets.

The letter also demanded that Fabiyi "ceases and desists from making further, additional or fresh defamatory publications against our client on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and on any other social media, social messaging blog and/or print media outlets.

"Also, N100m must be paid as damages for the unjustifiable injury and losses occasioned by our client caused by your defamatory publication."

Furthermore, they warned that failure to comply with the demands within 14 days would result in an initiation of legal proceedings without delay.

  • You can also dilute apple cider vinegar with an equal amount of water, and then apply it externally on the affected skin. Leave it on for 30 minutes. You can even soak the infected skin area in this solution for 30 minutes. When done, pat dries the area thoroughly with a towel or dryer.

2. Garlic
From time immemorial, people a lot of people have been using garlic for anti-biotic around the world. And according to recent studies, garlic has been shown to be a powerful anti-fungal that does not destroy beneficial bacteria in the gut.

However, garlic kills bad bacteria while killing 24 out of 26 strains of Candida.
  • Crush two garlic cloves and add a few drops of olive oil to make a paste. Apply the paste on the affected areas and leave it on for 30 minutes. Then wash the area with lukewarm water and pat dry the skin thoroughly. Follow this treatment twice daily until you get rid of the infection.
  • To treat a fungal infection in the vagina, wrap one garlic clove in gauze and put it in the vagina for not more than 30 minutes. Use this treatment once daily for several days.
  • You can also add a few garlic cloves to your food to speed up the healing process of any fungal infection. You can even take garlic supplements, but only after consulting your doctor.
3. Coconut oil
When it comes to health benefits of organic products, coconut oil is king. Derived from the flesh of the coconut, the oil has many health benefits, including antifungal properties.

As a matter of fact, studies have shown that coconut oil is effective against Candida albicans, making this home remedy one of the few with strong evidence that it actually works.

And in other to treat fungal infection with coconut oil, ensure you're using pure, organic coconut oil; and you can apply the oil directly to the affected area.

4. Aloe Vera
Research has revealed that aloe vera lowers pH levels; thereby creating an inhospitable environment for Candida. It also helps detoxify the liver.

The liver filters the byproducts of Candida and deals with toxins from the die-off process as the Candida is destroyed. Aloe Vera juice can be consumed on a daily basis (no more than 1/4 a cup) or capsules can be taken.

5. Clove oil

Yoruba Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi is in the forefront of a protest to Panti Police Station to protest against the unlawful detention of his colleague, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha, who was accused of molesting a minor.

Popular Cameroonian crossdresser, Shakiro, one other sentenced to 5 years in prison for ‘attempted homosexuality’

A court in Cameroon has sentenced popular cross dresser, Shakiro and one other to five years in prison for "attempted homosexuality"

It would be recalled that Shakiro also known as "Cameroonian Bobrisky" and two other persons were arrested in February for allegedly practicing homosexuality, which is a crime in Cameroon.

Shakiro, real name Loic Njeukam, and Patricia, also identified as Roland Mouthe, were sentenced on Tuesday, May 11.

The two received the maximum sentence of five years in prison and fines of 200,000 CFA francs ($372.44), their lawyers told Reuters.

Besides "attempted homosexuality," they were convicted of public indecency and failing to carry identification.

"This is a political decision," said one of the lawyers, Alice Nkom, who vowed to appeal the verdict.

"It's Yaounde (the central government) that said these people must not bring homosexuality to Cameroon." she added.

Terry Crews Details How Porn Addiction Almost Ended His Marriage With Wife Rebecca King

Hollywood actor/comedian, Terry Crews, has opened up about his addiction to porn and how it almost crashed his marriage to Rebecca King Crews.

Speaking ahead of the release of his new audiobook, Stronger Together, which Crews co-wrote with his wife, Rebecca, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star also opened up about being unfaithful to his wife.

Recall that in the past, Terry had disclosed that his porn addiction continued for decades, even after he got married and had children, he still managed to keep his porn habit going in secret.

During a recent question-and answer, a woman asked how his marriage survived despite all the chaos?

The America's Got Talent host handed the microphone over to his wife, who proceeded to get up on the stage and do what Terry called: 'a slam dunk.'

'People were going, "Oh my God, this is what we need."'

Terry went on to share that 'one perspective is not enough on something like this; two perspectives, especially a husband and wife, gives a 3-D view and really opens this thing up really, really, wide.'

Upon hearing this, Rebecca came up with the idea to do a book, but only when she was comfortable and ready.

'I'm not one to talk about my struggles while I'm in them,' Rebecca explained. I'm not going to Instagram you from the middle of my battle, but I will talk about it when I come to the other side.'

The Everybody Hates Chris star said his actions got so bad that his wife told him not to come home.

Devastated by the consequences of his actions, Terry experienced a turning point in his life when a good friend gave him the best piece of advice in his life.
 
'He said Terry, you need to get better for you.'

He added, 'You know, you work hard to get money. You do these things to get sex. But to actually improve just for yourself – that was foreign thought. It was like, wait a minute, I actually need to be a better person for myself.'

Terry also confessed to being influenced by those around him, amid all of his success in business and his career.

'Success is the warmest place to hide. I had so many people telling me I was great and it was no problem. And you know what? Hollywood didn't care. It still doesn't care if you lose your family; it happens everyday.'

It turns out Terry's addiction proceeded their marriage.

'So fame just made it worse, said Rebecca. 'And it's really true that power and success amplifies what's already going on inside you, and that is why I couldn't help him. And I'm thankful and I am lucky that he made the choice to do that.'

The couple attribute Terry's road to recovery to therapy and counseling, which he admitted was sort of a taboo growing up in Flint, Michigan.

'I was like, "This is crazy; this is not me… and all of a sudden I realized it is me,' he said of his acceptance of his troubles that led him to therapy.

After that he went on an apology tour, where he sat a number of people in his life down, including his kids.

'The reason why we wrote this book was the fact that I know I can't be alone. I can't be the only guy who went through this,' he said.

The couple ended by explaining that the book may not be for everybody, but for some, it just may be the perfect story to hear.
