“Just breathe” – Regina Daniel reacts to the accusation made against her husband, Ned Nwoko pertaining to land disputes

Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, and wife of billionaire businessman, Ned Nwoko has reacted to the accusation made against her husband pertaining to land disputes and illegal jailing in Delta state.

Recall today, a lady identified as Pamela took to her Twitter account to accuse Regina Daniel's husband, Ned Nwoko of the unjust arrest of her father, Okey Ifejoku.

In her narration, she disclosed that Ned Nwoko terrorized the Idumuje-Ugboko community in Delta state over land disputes until they fell on their knees and off him their land on a platter.

However, one of the billionaire's six wives, Regina Daniel has reacted to this news.

She took to her Instagram page to drop a hint as she wrote that the most productive thing to do is breathe.

In her words,

"The most productive thing you can do today is breathe".

Tammy Abraham’s Girlfriend ‘Attacks’ Chelsea Boss Tuchel for After FA Cup Final Defeat to Leicester

Chelsea star Tammy Abraham's stunning girlfriend Leah Monroe blasted Blues boss Thomas Tuchel over his decision to leave out the striker for the FA Cup final.

Speculation on Abraham's future was fueled further after the England international was completely snubbed in the line-up against Leicester on Saturday, May 15.

Many football fans found this odd especially because Abraham is Chelsea's top scorer this season.

Instead, Tuchel started with Timo Werner upfront, with Kai Havertz and Olivier Giroud providing attacking variety on the bench.

Abraham was in attendance at Wembley but could only watch from the stands as he was not on the team sheet.

The England striker's girlfriend Leah did not appreciate Tuchel's team selection and she took to Instagram to blast the boss in a since-deleted post. She said:

"How on earth do you make the decision to leave your top goalscorer out of the squad for a final!? The same person who even scored the goals to actually qualify for this competition? "It's not making any sense to me whatsoever. Not even the bench?! This has to be a joke."


Chelsea went on to lose the FA Cup final, despite dominating Leicester, who got their winner in classic FA Cup style courtesy of Youri Tielemans.

The Belgian struck a beauty in the 63rd minute in a goal that proved to be the difference between the two sides in a hotly-contested final.

Russia To Become The First Country To Shoot A Movie In Space

Russia is racing to become the first nation to shoot a movie in space, after it announced plans to send an actress and a director to the International Space Station (ISS) – 250 miles above earth in October.

State news agency Ria Novosti said on Thursday that 35-year-old Yulia Peresild would star in the new movie, which will be shot in space and directed by 37 year old Klim Shipenko.

Titled "Vyzov" (The Challenge), the movie will tell the story of a surgeon who has to operate on a sick cosmonaut in space because his medical condition prevents him from returning to earth to be treated.

Peresild and Shipenko, who are well known in Russia, were selected after the country's space agency, Roscosmos, opened a competition for applicants in November.

Peresild has appeared in a number of Russian films and TV series, while Shipenko's 2020 movie "Serf" was one of Russia's highest-grossing films.

Race to space:

The timing of the plans puts Russia neck-and-neck with a US team of actor Tom Cruise and director Doug Liman, who revealed in 2020 that they were working together on a movie to be filmed in space.

The as-yet-untitled movie, which has no release date, is being developed in collaboration with Elon Musk's SpaceX.

Cruise will travel to space, where he will be based at the ISS, according to Deadline.

The ISS is a multibillion-dollar laboratory that orbits Earth.

It was launched in 1998 and built as a collaboration between the US, Russia and 14 other countries.

Zero-gravity training:

Peresild and Shipenko will need to undergo rigorous training before traveling to space to film "The Challenge."

From next month, along with two understudies, they will begin a preparation regime that will include training flights in zero gravity and parachute training.

They will head to the ISS from the Baikonur cosmodrome spaceport in Kazakhstan on the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft.

The movie, which has no release date yet, is being developed in collaboration with Roscosmos, broadcaster Channel One and studio Yellow, Black and White.

Singer, Chidinma Ekile – “My conversion back to Christ was ordained by God”

Afropop artists cum gospel singer, Chidinma Ekile shared some insight about her new lifestyle, her conversion, and her music career.

Recall that Chidinma dumped secular music to become a gospel artists some days ago, a move that shocked most of her fans.

However, in a new interview, Chidimma has revealed what led her to the gospel music fraternity and what her fans should expect from her.

When asked what led her into doing gospel music, Chidinma said that her conversion is ordained by God. She disclosed that it was prophesied to her some time back so she is not surprised.

"Well, it has been ordained. It was actually a prophecy, so I was going to get here anyway. Though there was a time I wasn't sure eventually I knew I was going to get there and what's the better time than now?" she said.

The beautiful screen diva also urged her fans to expect the move of God in her music career and also her songs.

"Fans should expect the move of God. Yes, I'm going to do the music but most importantly, I'm here because of God. So, expect the move of God and expect to be blessed."

"The journey so far has been quite challenging. I've had to go through a whole lot of submission, prayer, and spending time with God. Prior to that, we all know how it has been before, and as I said, it is God who ordained that I'll be a minister of the Gospel and this is just the right time for me to step into it.

"So, the journey has kind of prepared me for this season, for this particular time. So, I'm here to do God's work" she said.

Cristiano Ronaldo has angered his Juventus teammates after being given 'too much freedom', with the Portuguese superstar missing training to purchase a new Ferrari.

The Italian outfit ran out 3-1 winners over Sassuolo on Wednesday evening to remain in the hunt for a Champions League spot.

Ronaldo managed to score in the game, but a report from AS has revealed he missed Monday training for a bizarre reason.

Juventus suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat to AC Milan and players were forced to attend training the day later – that is, players who aren't Ronaldo.

The 36-year-old was given a day off to collect his new £1.4million (N740 million) Ferrari Monza straight from Ferrari's factory.

Ronaldo was accompanied by Ferrari President John Elkann and Juventus president Andrea Agnelli.

It's believed the team do not see Ronaldo as a leader on the pitch and his reaction to things not going his way is negative.

Rumours of him being 'isolated' are also frequent following a poor collective season under Andrea Pirlo.

Having made his name as a big game player in the Champions League, Ronaldo is uninterested in stepping down to the Europa League.

Pirlo addressed rumours the five-time Ballon d'Or winner receives special treatment earlier this season.

"I treat him like I treat all the other players," Pirlo explained. "I'm always available on and off the pitch. It's easy to have a good relationship between humble people. I'm like that.

"I behave with him – a champion – like I do with [Gianluca] Frabotta or [Manolo] Portanova, who are two young players.

"I do the same things I was used to doing when I was a player."

After a year without the pageant due to the coronavirus pandemic, Andrea Meza of Mexico has officially been crowned Miss Universe 2021.

The 26-year-old model, who has a software engineering degree, was crowned by 2019 title holder Zozibini Tunzi at the Miss Universe competition which finally held on May 16 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.

Meza finished first ahead of the Brazilian and Peruvian finalists in a flashy televised event, hosted by American actor Mario Lopez and television personality Olivia Culpo.


For the grand finale, Andrea dazzled in a flaming red-fringed gown designed by Ivis Lenin to accept the honor onstage Florida's Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.

During the final statement round, Miss Mexico was asked to address the topic of changing beauty standards. "We live in a society that more and more is more advanced and as we have advanced as a society, we have advanced with stereotypes," she shared via translator. "Nowadays, beauty is not only the way we look. For me, beauty radiates not only in our spirits, but in our hearts and the way we conduct ourselves. Never permit someone to tell you that you are not valuable."


And just minutes before, Miss Mexico also faced the final question round where she was asked to share how she would have handled the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I believe there is not a perfect way to handle this hard situation such as COVID-19," she explained. "However, I believe that what I would have done was create the lockdown even before everything was that big because we lost so many lives and we cannot afford that. We have to take care of our people. That's why I would have taken care of them since the beginning."

Meza is reportedly the third Mexican woman to ever win the crown after Lupita Jones and Ximena Navarrete.

Following the birth of her second child, 24 years after her first, actress, Elizabeth Anjorin, who recently had a baby has revealed how she initially considered using a surrogate to carry her children.

Speaking about her age and health, she said, "People do not consider my age and my health. You cannot compare the health of a 25-year-old hustling woman to that of a 50-year-old housewife.
 
"The latter would have more time to take care of herself. Nobody will help one out of poverty. Bringing children to this world without the ability to take care of them is a sin. I am an only child, so one would think that my mother would have been able to give me the best but reverse was the case

" My mother could not independently send me to school or feed me well. Meanwhile, some people have 10 children and they give them sound education. These thoughts helped me to be more determined to work hard. Thankfully, I am not a sex addict and I have been on birth control pills for a long time.

"But miraculously, I got pregnant on my wedding day and I did not know. It took me close to three months to know that I was pregnant. I did not plan for pregnancy at all because I was taking precautions.

"When I got married, I thought we were acting a movie. I and my husband had planned to opt for surrogacy. If I had eventually had my child through that or in-vitro fertilisation, I would have boldly spoken out about it to encourage other women.

"My first child is 23 years old, and I can't begin to say what I went through. All I can say is that poverty did not allow me to care for and stay with my child. If my mother did not take the responsibility of raising my child, I would not have been able to go to school or pursue other things. Some women end up on the street because of some of the decisions they make.

"I care about children deeply and I am so thankful that my husband was supportive all through my pregnancy. He remained unshaken even with all the reports that had earlier made the rounds about him. "

Singer Peruzzi — Why I Have Not Gone To Church Since I Met Davido

Even though he believes in God, popular singer, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, also known as Peruzzi, has revealed that he has not gone to church since he met Davido.

Peruzzi made this known when he featured on Joey Akan's 'Afrobeats Intelligence' where he also spoke about his days as a keyboardist and chorister.

"I haven't gone to church since I met David. I haven't been to church in like four years. But yeah, I believe in God," he said.

"I've always seen myself as a star before I met anybody in this industry, I used to act like 'people are watching me.' I didn't have any drip, but I'd make sure that I'm not wearing any fake Gucci, I'm not wearing any fake Versace.

"I'm wearing a plain white shirt. I had my way that I'm going to be something. I didn't know how, but I knew, 'guy, I'm going to be something.' I was already acting like I was. When David met me, I was branding myself already.

"He knew there was a wave. It's been like that because I always felt like if you know you want to get somewhere, just start preparing yourself for it. [It] wasn't really fake-fake, 'cause I didn't rock no fake sh*t. But I faked being a star."

The singer who said he doesn't plan to remain a singer forever revealed that he sees himself settling down with his family in California in the next six years.

He said, "Like my mum used to say: 'Even if you no know where you dey come from, no forget where you dey go. I feel like you can't just be existing. You have to be living. In the sense that, you have to be about something.

"And me, I've always known where I want to be, I can tell you where I want to settle down; Malibu, California. I just want to be there smoking my weed in like six years from now with my wife and my two kids.

"I already know everything I want in this life. I know because I feel like you're supposed to know. If not, why are you living? Why are you working? Why am I even singing? Am I singing because I want to be singing forever?

"I can't be singing forever now. I'm singing because after singing, I have to do something. I have to be somewhere.

"I have to say 'yes, this is what my life turned out to be.' From going to primary school, going to high school, going to uni, it has to result in something. It would be no use for me living if I don't have a destination."

Famous musician Chinagorom Onuoha, popularly known as African China, states why he feels Nigeria's security challenges remain unsolvable.

The respected singer said the Federal government is insincere with themselves and the masses regarding the rising insecurity in the country, noting that this has led to the difficulty in providing adequate security for lives and properties of Nigerians.

"I feel insecurity is something the Federal Government can handle but because they are not sincere with themselves and the people, the situation appears unsolvable," he said.

African China told Punch that the country's leaders need to show the masses that they are there to serve them.

This comes barely 6 months after his car was ransacked by robbers who made away with his valuables.

He said he was moving into his new apartment when he was robbed. He added that he had his "whole life" in the car and they were taken.

Seasoned female drummer, Aralola Olumuyiwa, popularly called Ara, who is undoubtedly a beautiful woman with lots of male admirers has message for men.

The singer has expressed willingness to give her heart to any particular person who is able to capture it.

In an interview with Sunday Scoop, she stated that she was still open to loving someone and being loved in return.

She said, ""Yes, marriage is on the cards for me. I definitely would love to get married again. I definitely would want to love and be loved again. I'm very open. It's just that when one has been scarred, one tends to see everyone as a scallywag and one tends to be careful.

The singer also revealed that she was in the process of mentoring young female drummers.

She said, ""There are many female talking drummers but I agree that none of them has been able to get to the level I attained. Being a pacesetter is a tall order for a female talking drummer or any female drummer at that.

"Whenever any female drummer is sighted, people send me their videos and pictures. I recently had a meeting with a lot of female drummers and it was beautiful. I decided to start mentoring them because many of them were reaching out to me.

"They had lots of things bothering them and they needed direction. We have had our first meeting and we are going to have another major one soon, where the drummers from different parts of the South-West and other parts of the country will come to Lagos.

"There are some female drummers as young as five years old. We need to encourage drummers and artists generally. We have not been given our rightful place and we are not being appreciated the way we should. It is a sad development but by God's grace, I believe things would change. There is going to be a positive turnaround for everyone on our platform."

Sharing her thoughts on the issue of sexual harassment in the entertainment industry, she said, "I have heard victims talk about it. However, I would say I was lucky in that regard. When I started out, it was destiny and passion that drove me into entertainment.

"I had no 'street sense' whatsoever. There are instances where I would have fallen but because I was a genuinely naive person, I did not even know those were supposed to be traps. For me, it did not come as an abuse or harassment.

"Along the line though, it started looking like it and I fought back. That is the reason I had a lot of issues at the end of the day. So, yes it (harassment) is very real.

"However, some females also offer themselves to these men in desperation to become famous. But, if you've got what it takes to be a star, you do not need to sell yourself or give your body to any man."

Baba Ijesha Traumatised In Detention – Lawyer Writes Police

The lawyer to Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James Omiyinka popularly known as Baba Ijesha, Adesina Ogunlana, has said his client is traumatized in police detention.

Baba Ijesha has been in police custody since his arrest in April for allegedly defiling the 14-year-old foster child of a popular comedian Princess.

In a letter addressed to the Lagos police commissioner, Ogunlana said his client should be released on bail and that his client's colleague, Yomi Fabiyi is ready to stand surety for him. Ogunlana in his letter added that the accused has become abnormally weak and lean in detention.

"We are aware that a piece of legal advice on our client's matter has been issued about two weeks ago, disclosing prospective charges of bailable character.

From all indications, the investigation has been concluded in his matter and it is inconceivable that the issuance of legal advice will now be a basis for the denial of bail as you have been widely reported in the press to have claimed.

We submit that the continuous detention of Mr Olanrewaju James Omiyinka at your SCID Panti Yaba facility, for about thirty days now, in our respectful view, is in gross breach of his fundamental human rights as cognisable under the 1999 constitution the grand norm of the nation's legal architecture.

As of today when I met with Omiyinka in the company of his thespian colleague and ready surety, Mr Yomi Fabiyi, he appeared traumatised, emaciated, and walked with a limp in his right leg. May I assure you, sir, that Mr Omiyinka is not a flight risk and he is prepared to face trial," he said.

The spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, last Friday, May 14, said the decision to hold on to Baba Ijesha was based on the criminal charges against him. Adejobi said that the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), under the Lagos State Ministry of Justice, advised the police to detain Baba Ijesha pending when he would be charged to court.

Denola Grey – Why I Moved Back To Nigeria

Nigerian fashionista and model Denola Adepetun, better known as Denola Grey, reveals his reason for returning to Nigeria from 'the abroad' in a recent chat.

Denola Grey told Chude Jideonwo that he originally returned to his home country to observe the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), however stayed in Nigeria because the country thought him how to be hardworking.

He said; "I don't like sharing this, but I am also a British citizen. I just wanted to observe the National Youth Service Corps scheme and leave because Nigeria represented a lot of pain for me. I wasn't understood here. I was not allowed to be myself. However, I am happy I moved back."

"Nigeria taught me how to hustle. It doesn't escape me for a second that I am incredibly blessed, but I also know the amount of hard work that it took to get me here. Whether you like or not, Nigeria will pull the hustle out of you. I stayed because there was a bigger lesson to be learnt."


He spoke further, saying that he did not get to where he is on a silver platter. He stated, "At 23, I had no other skills apart from fashion and journalism. And I had to make it work in Lagos with no friends."

"I had some friends, but I had been away (from the country) for five years. I had to navigate through that. I have worked hard for everything I have. There were two years in my life when I was working for free.

"When people think that nepotism is involved, people will view you through their own level of awareness and perception. I cannot control that. You can feel either way you want about me. I don't mean this in a condescending way but I don't know you and I don't care."
