Singer Simi – “Having a child changed me, made me more empathic”

Simisola Kosoko, better known as Simi opens up on how the birth of her daughter, Adejare, made her understand and share the feelings with other mothers.

According to the singer who had her first child last year with the love of her life, Adekunle Gold, Simi cited an example of how frustrating it used to be hearing a baby cry at a public gathering, but now that she has a baby too, she understands why most parents react differently to such situation.

Adding to her point, Simi says that it used to be easy to question the parenting of other people but now that she's wearing the same shoes, she's now more empathic.

Instagram male barbie, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky has taken to social media to lash out at fans who have been consistent in trolling him.

Bobrisky has never been short of controversies on social media with some fans sceptical of his lifestyle.

However, the controversial male barbie has insisted that at this stage of his life, he does not care what anyone thinks about him.

According to Bobrisky, it's sad to see people fighting those who are writing good stuff about him on social media, asking if they must force people to hate him.

Bobrisky wrote:

"How do you feel when you read some nice comments about me on my page, and you go under the good comment to fight that person for saying good things about me. Must you force other people to dislike me too?

Stop pushing ur stupidity on others. Y attack someone who said good things about me just because you don't like me ? How is you liking me affecting my banks account in d first place. At dis point of my life I don't care who doesn't like me yeah !!!! Me move."

Dr Aanu trends as she is called out over another failed surgery after practicing in Abuja despite court case

Another alleged cosmetic surgery victim who suffered a botched butt surgery has come out to accuse Dr Anu Adepoju of being responsible.

Photos of the patient's butt with puss leaking out of it are circulating online, alongside a chat purportedly from the patient.

In the chat, the patient alleged that Dr Anu moved her practice to Abuja after her clinic in Lagos – Medcontour – was shut down over alleged malpractice.

The patient added that she lives in New York and didn't know about Dr Anu or the other patients who claim to be her victims.

When she returned to Nigeria, she booked a session with Dr Anu, she claims, and it ended in a disaster.

Photos of her bum are now circulating on Twitter, with some people calling her out for not doing a Google search of the doctor who she was about to entrust with her life and money.

Others called Dr Anu out, making her trend again.

Recall that Dr Anu of Medcontour has been involved in controversies after multiple patients who visited her cosmetic surgery clinic for body enhancement suffered life-threatening complications, including a former beauty queen, Nneka, who later died in LUTH.

Last year, Dr Aanu was suspended from the medical profession in Nigeria after LUTH petitioned the medical panel following the death of the victim of Dr Anu's procedure who died after being transferred to its hospital (read here).

Also, the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, FCCPC, sued her to court for malpractice in July 2020 and photos of her arriving in court were shared online (read here).

Yet, she's alleged to have continued practicing in Abuja, causing harm to patients.

[Video]: TV personality, Ahmed Isah slaps a woman on live Tv for setting a child’s hair on fire

Human rights activist and TV media personality, Ahmed Isah, popularly known as Ordinary President is currently trending on Twitter for slapping a lady on live TV during an interview.

According to reports, it is alleged that the woman set her child's hair on fire over witchcraft allegations. She was said to have tied the girl's hands and legs, poured kerosene on her head, and ignited the fire. The child was burnt alive, although the child didn't die, sustained severe damage.

Ahmed Isah who hosts a program titled, "Berekete Family" and offers ordinary citizens the opportunity to tell their stories, used his platform to interview the woman.

During the question and answer session, the woman had given an adamant response that further got him angry as he lost his cool and gave her two resounding slaps live on TV.

His actions have generated divergent reactions. While others are in support, there is a contrary opinion to Admed's act.

Princess dispels doubts of winning after Baba Ijesha was granted

Comedian, Princess, took to Instagram to react after actor, Baba Ijesha was granted bail on health grounds.

Baba Ijesha's lawyer said the actor was granted bail today, May 17, and will be released after his bail conditions have been perfected.

Recall that Baba Ijesha, whose real name is Olanrewaju James, was caught on CCTV sexually molesting Princess' underage foster daughter. He was detained as a result.

Reacting to news he's been granted bail, Princess tweeted: "I will win not immediately but definitely."

Nollywood star and mother of one, Rosy Meurer has revealed how being a mother has changed her mindset and perspective about life.

Rosy Meurer became a mother some weeks ago when she welcomed her first child with popular entrepreneur Olakunle Churchill.

She was welcomed back in the country some days ago by her hubby in a romantic way that melts the hearts of fans and lovers.

Rosy Meurer in a new post on her Instagram page has now revealed how being a mother has changed her thinking.

According to her, she has come to realize that a family created after marriage is more important than one's family. She added that what she wants to do now is take good care of her son and her husband.

Police Spokesperson says, Police Not Aware Of Baba Ijesha’s Bail

The Lagos State police command has said it's unaware of the reported bail granted to embattled Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha.

Recall that the legal team of the ace comedian had on Monday evening announced that Baba Ijesha had been granted bail on health condition.

His lawyer, Adesina Ogunlana, who made this known also noted that they were yet to perfect his bail.

However, while reacting to the reports, the spokesperson to the police in Lagos, Muyiwa Adejobi, during an interview with newsmen, said the command did not receive such notice.

"We just saw reports that he has been granted bail. Well, I am not aware of the bail and the command has not received any notice based on the issue.

"I am not aware and it is not in my knowledge," he said.

American supermodel, Naomi Campbell, has welcomed her first child – a baby girl — at the age of 50.

Describing the joy she felt as a mother, the superstar said, "a beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother."

The legendary American model took to her Instagram account to announce to her 10.4 million followers that a bundle of joy has been added to her family.

In May 2017, Campbell told Evening Standard magazine that she had thought about becoming a mother but wasn't in a rush to make it happen at a specific time.

"I think about having children all the time," she said at the time. "But now, with the way science is, I think I can do it when I want."

Baba Ijesha has been granted bail

Actor, Olanrewaju James popularly known as, Baba Ijesha, has been granted bail.

The actor who has been in police custody since April for allegedly defiling the foster daughter of comedian, Princess, was granted bail today May 17, on health grounds by a magistrate who was at the State Criminal Investigation Department SCID Panti to review some cases in a bid to decongest the police facility.

Baba Ijesha is yet to be released as his lawyer, Adesina Ogunlana, is working towards perfecting his bail condition which includes that he must have two sureties. One of the sureties must be a Level 10 Public officer while the second surety must be a relation of the actor. The bail is put at N500, 000 in bond.

The accused actor is yet to be charged to court due to the industrial strike by the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN)

J. Cole Reveals Why He No Longer Views Kendrick Lamar And Drake As Competition

American rapper, Jermaine Lamarr Cole known professionally as J. Cole, says he is no longer trying to compete with his colleagues.

Fresh off the release of his new album, The Off-Season, the rapper paid a visit to "The ETCs" podcast with Kevin Durant and Eddie Gonzalez, where he reflected on his career and relationship with fellow rappers Drake and Kendrick Lamar, which he says has evolved over time.

According to the Grammy Award winning rapper, he has learned to value friendship over competitiveness.

"These are the guys that push you, and you gotta push them," said Cole.

"I was so competitive early on that, like, even though we were all friends, I've never been a reach out, I've never been that person, especially when it's competition involved. It's almost like working out together."

"I guess in the NBA in the past that was unheard of. Like, 'Why would I work out with this ni**a? I'm trying to destroy this ni**a.' That was kind of my mentality early on," he said.


"But as I've gotten older, I realize that no one is truly my peer or can relate to what I'm going through in life more than these people right here–just in terms of whatever pressures there might be… Nobody can really relate to that like these dudes, and I really genuinely f**k with these dudes."

"I've been absolutely trying to make an effort as time goes on, to strip the competition from me," he said. "I'm more interested in the relationship 'cause I also see a time when I'm not doing this. That seems very realistic to me."

Cole added; "I'm more interested in the genuine relationship. Before I was interested in the competition. Before I was just interested in putting pressure or responding to pressure… It's just less competition in my mind 'cause ni**as is old, bro."

However, Cole says he has always had respect for his peers.

"It was always a respect thing. Now it's just more of a wisdom thing where it's like, 'Yo, you can never have it all.'"

"Michael Jordan will never be universally hailed as the greatest player of all time–and that's insane. And LeBron James will never be universally hailed as the greatest player of all time–and that's insane. You'll never have it, so it comes with age to realize that like, 'Yo, what are you even worried about?' 'Cause you're just setting yourself up for suffering."

Cole then opened up about fulfilling his professional basketball dreams as the Fayetteville rapper made his debut playing for the Rwanda Patriots BBC in the inaugural season of the Basketball Africa League on Sunday, May 16.

Kourtney Kardashian's lover, Travis Barker's ex-wife, Shanna Moakler has revealed why she divorced him.

Shanna Moakler claims, her ex-husband had an affair with Kim Kardashian while they were still married and she divorced him as a result, only for him to move on and date Kim's sister, Kourtney Kardashian.

Model, Shanna, 46, who is now dating model and actor Matthew Rondeau on and off in recent months, claimed that her marriage with Travis ended in 2008 because he "cheated" with Kim Kardashian.

Shanna said in a message which appeared to be in response to an unknown Instagram user: "I divorced Travis because I caught him having an affair with Kim! Now he's in love with her sister…It's all gross…I'm not the bad guy!"

Shanna started the message by sharing insight into her on-off romance with Matthew Rondeau.

The message read in full: "Matthew has been my rock he truly has changed and has been amazing.. When we went life trip other night we were joking but lots of inside jokes I don't think translated.


"I left Travis because he was emotionally abusive, I left the money snd mansions for a reason… family is all that matters but I can't compete with kids whose father doesn't encourage relationships with their own mother and purposely tries to alienate them away..

"Travis controls Bamas [their daughter] social media… however I get blamed for her sexualition! How does a father allow her to act like that and do lives at 4am? With Men twice her age.."

Going on to claim Travis "cheated" with Kim, she added: "I've been legally bullied out… I'm fed up and I'm Exhausted.. Social media and the media isn't real… I divorced Travis because I caught him having an affair with Kim! Now he's in love with her sister.. It's all gross… I'm not the bad guy!"
