Nigerian singer, songwriter, and rapper, Shasha Damilola Alesh, popularly known as Dice Ailes has disclosed that there's nothing more unattractive than a woman who has nothing to offer in a relationship.

The singer took to his Instagram story to rant that he wished women had more to give these days asides from sex in their relationship. He further noted that no amount of money can keep a woman, in turn.

According to a controversial blogger, Cutie Juls, Praise had an affair with a friend to the mother of his child who lives under the same roof with them, which caused a rift between the lovers when the affair leaked.

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tolani Otedola and the first daughter of Nigerian businessman, Femi Otedola took to her social media page to reveal her unusual dream as an akara seller.

Tolani disclosed on Twitter that last night while she was asleep, she had a weird dream. In the dream, she disclosed that she was in a restaurant as big as McDonald's, dressed in a uniform and hair net. But strangely enough, she was selling akara (a local but delicious, deep-fried bean cake made from black-eyed peas paste).

She further revealed that in the dream, she was serving one of her father's influential friends.

The beautiful woman received so much love from her friends and family. In fact, her followers on social media and those who follow her show YourView on TVC showed how much they love her.

The producer of the show Morayo Brown shared a video showing the moment Yeni was presented with a brand new car for her birthday.

In the video, a small crowd gathered as Yeni stood by her car. Morayo and other co-hosts were seen close to Yeni and a saxophonist was heard playing a happy birthday song in the background.

Yeni who had a mic in her hands appreciated the man who introduced her to the show.

According to Rema, his sound which was tagged as an 'Indian' version has become the new wave in the music industry.

The talented singer and songwriter noted that the sound should be called "Afrorave" rather than the popular afrobeat.

Man takes to social media to lament the type of breakfast in bed he got after passing a night in a hotel in Ibadan.

According to a Twitter user identified as Deji with username @Oj_deji, the breakfast in bed caught him unaware as he was hoping for something more nutritious other than two biscuits, one boiled egg, and a raw sachet of coffee.

The picture of the meal however triggered reactions online after it went viral in a matter of minutes.

How to make basmati fried rice

Basmati is a variety of long, slender-grained aromatic Indian rice and fried rice is an oriental dish.

Ingredients
3 cups of good quality basmati rice
1/4 cup of vegetable oil
2 seasoning cubes
1 tsp salt (to taste)
2 tsp curry
1 tsp thyme
Carrot, peas, cabbage, sweetcorn (to desire)
¼ cup chopped spring onion
1 cup precooked shrimps or chopped chicken (optional)
½ teaspoons crushed red pepper/ black pepper

Instructions
Pour 2 cups of water and a little oil into a pot and bring to boil. Sprinkle in a seasoning cube, some salt, curry powder and thyme.
Wash rice until water stops being cloudy.
Reduce heat and add the rice into the pot. Allow to cook for 18-20 minutes, depending on how soft you like your rice. Turn off heat, fluff the rice with fork to separate the grains and set aside to cool.
In a big pan or pot, add remaining cooking oil, diced onions, minced garlic and ginger and saute until fragrant and translucent.

Add your red pepper and saute for about 1 minute, then add in your spring onions and mixed vegetables, and cook for 2 minutes.
Add in the shrimps/shredded chicken, some salt to taste and cooled rice.
Use wooden spoon to stir and cook for 3-5 minutes.
Your basmati fried rice is ready! Serve with plantains.

I ate seafood and I had a few thoughts

So, this weekend I visited Ocean basket at Lekki, Lagos and ate seafood for the first time.

I tried seafood for the first time and I had some thoughts

On Twitter, some people said that spending N20,000 on a date is exorbitant. I am not sure how I felt about that topic because that was how much I spent on that date and that is how much you should budget if you want to go there.

Here was my thought process, "Buy the bigger looking platter." I saw a Arab family in the restaurant and that was what they had in front of them. Somehow, I thought I was getting chicken wings too. Chicken wings? Why did I think I would get that? The name of the place is ocean basket!

When the waiter asked for what I wanted I said I wanted the platter for two.

Anyways, the waiter was super nice and helpful. He instantly felt like a friend and that made me relaxed. The ambience was great too.

Seeing how expensive seafood I was, I changed my mind about getting appetizers but I was given complimentary bread.

We ordered some cocktails too. They were fantastic.

The platter looked good. It had rice and chips. The rice and chips were delicious but other things on the platter were strange to my African taste especially the strong garlic sauce in the mussels.

I decided to ask someone else who went there what they felt about the food, Tobi said "Appetizer was okay. Pretty small. The main meal was filling. Rice and chips with a big piece of fish. Waiters were available to answers questions. Food was affordable."

Abraham had the seafood platter and he enjoyed it. "I never try anything in a shell." That is the mussels.

If you are feeling adventurous and you want to delve into foreign food, or your taste buds have been seasoned to foreign delicacies you can try it. If not just stick to rice and fish, salads, soups and so on.

Kayode Kasum's 'Kambili' is coming to Netflix

The romantic comedy directed by Kayode Kasum premiered in cinemas in December 2020 after months of Covid-19 influenced delays.

Kayode Kasum's 'Kambili' is set to hit global streaming platform, Netflix. The romcom was recently unveiled as one of the new titles set to be rolled out in the coming weeks.

The Filmtrybe Media and FilmOne Entertainment production follows the romantic tale of Kambili played by Nancy Isime, a spendthrift who embarks on a mission to straighten her life and get her boyfriend to commit to marriage.

'Kambili' also stars Jidekene Achufusi, Venita Akpofure, Elvina Ibru, Uzor Arukwe, Mawuli Gavor and Koye 'K10' Kekere-Ekun.

Originally set for a mid 2020 theatrical release, the film finally made it to be big screens in December of the same year due to the Covid-19 Lockdown. It reportedly grossed N20 million in box office, an impressive figure considering the Covid year.

An official Netflix release date will be announced in the coming weeks.

This single comes after rumours made the rounds that the artist exited Spaceship Collective, the Bose Ogulu-owned label in April 2020 after his contract expired. Those rumours swirled after months of speculation that there was tension between the artist and label over releases, creative freedom and promotion.

While he released 'So Lovely' later in 2020, the song slightly sailed under the radar. Over the past one month, Buju has been on two buzz-worthy singles, Blaqbonez's 'Bling' and LadiPoe's 'Feeling.'

On the new single, Buju seemed to hint that fear from lack of funds led him make certain mistakes earlier in his career.

A first verse on the song goes, "Rock it and beat up your chest I swear, if you no get money e dey kill idea/Well I face my fears, there's nothing I can do from here/Omo, in the first stage I made mistakes I swear, for knowledge I sacrifice my fears/And I stand right here, I say I'm better and you can't compare..."
