Sophia Momodu reacts to Davido’s declaration of Chioma’s son as his ‘heir apparent’

Nigerian singer, Davido's first baby mama Sophia Momodu has reacted to the declaration made by David pertaining to his heir apparent.

David took to his Instagram post to share photos of his first son, David Ifeanyi Adedeji. In the post, he had declared that his son with his ex-fiancee, Chioma is the heir apparent to his wealth.

However, his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu has reacted to this. She took to her Instagram story to throw a subtle shade about not fitting in yet she keeps thriving.

Timaya blasts Eedris Abdulkareem says, “Dirty looking weed smoker, go and work”

Popular Nigerian songwriter and hip hop singer, Timaya has blasted his senior colleague, Eedris Abdulkareem.

Recall that Eedris was dragged on Twitter by the minister of state for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo.

This was in connection to a diss track the singer targeted at the politician, Keyamo. In the diss track,  "Senior Advocate of Nonsense", he sang that Keyamo is among the cabals killing Nigeria.

Reacting to this, Timaya has launched an attack at Eedris as he recalled that Eedris never paid for his services.

Here's what he said;

"I was your back up artist and you did not appreciate me. You regarded me like a nobody, I paid my transport to your shows because I was learning. You have never paid me one day. You disregard people, how many people don blow through you", the Dem Mama crooner asked.
 
"Where are all the people that were with you before? You come on social media, where the f**k are you? Don't blame people, Go and work. Dirty looking Igbo smoker".

Politician, Gbangbola has thrown jabs at the popular music mogul, Don Jazzy while claiming that he encourages indecency among youths in the music industry.

Gbangbola also lamented over musicians who sing songs that according to him sounds morally bankrupt. He further questioned if singers are actually asked to gather more souls for the devil in order to redeem theirs; which makes them portray indecency at its climax.

Taking to his Instagram page, he wrote:

"I know a lot of you don't like to see posts like this. I'm not worried about you. But maybe there's someone out there that needs to see this. For the rest of you, you can ignore. I no dey follow you argue!

I'm only concerned for the decaying morals most of you seem to be shinning teeth about.

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has taken to his verified Twitter account to share pictures of when he hosted the talented Ikorodu Bois in his office. The comedy group paid the governor a courtesy visit.

In his post, the Governor mentioned that the young boys' creativity put them and Ikorodu on the world map.

10 year old Nigerian refugee, becomes US national chess master

Tani Adewumi, a Nigerian refugee in the US, has won another chess competition to officially become a national chess master at 10.Tani, whose family fled Nigeria over Boko Haram crisis, came into limelight in 2019 after winning the 2019 New York chess championship while living in a homeless center on religious asylum.His story touched hearts and a GoFundMe page was created for him. Legendary Nigerian musician, Eedris Abdulkareem, responds to Nigeria's minister of state for labour and employment, Festus Keyamo, with another diss song, following his [Keyamo] social media outburst last week.

Keyamo had claimed on Twitter that Abdulkareem called him out in a song tagged 'Jaga Jaga (Reloaded)' because he refused to facilitate his entry into the current APC government due to the singer's selfish reasons.

Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar gives more insight into rape for her fans, followers to have knowledge of ways rape can occur.

The curvaceous actress' education came after comedian Princess accused actor Baba Ijesha of raping her adopted daughter when she was a minor and assaulted her as a teenager. The alleged abuse has been buzzing in the media for over a week, with different celebrities sharing their thoughts.

While Baba Ijesha remains in police custody, Halima Abubakar noted that rape is dishonourable, immoral all humans must outrightly condemn it.

Halima added that every man or woman in Nigeria that has a wife, a sister, a niece, or a daughter must understand that rape is a crime to human existence, and must be kicked out the country.

For Marital Rape, she said it is non-consensual sex between spouses. Child Rape, according to her post, is a sexual activity in which an adult uses a child for sexual stimulation or gratification.

Incest Rape is perpetrated by the same family members or close relatives. Gang Rape, in her explanation is when a group of people rapes a single person. Prison Rape and War Rape are self-explanatory, she added.

Oprah Winfrey Announces New Prince Harry Documentary To Be Released This Month

Oprah Winfrey has revealed her new series with Prince Harry on mental health will be released this month after being delayed.

Oprah discussed her program while talking on CBS' The Drew Barrymore Show last week.

Appearing on the talk show alongside US psychiatrist Dr Bruce D. Perry, Oprah explained: "I wanna just say that Dr Perry and I have been also, for the past two years, along with Prince Harry and Apple, we've been working on this mental health series that's coming out in May on Apple."

The talk show host explained that she wanted to highlight the importance of using her life "in order to help" others with theirs.

Oprah and Prince Harry have worked with each other over a number of years on this project.

In 2019, the communications team for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that Harry was teaming up with Oprah to create a documentary series on mental health.

Oprah also mentioned publicly that she had worked with Prince Harry.

During her interview with Harry and Meghan, which aired on ITV in March, Oprah briefly mentioned the series, after Meghan confessed to experiencing suicidal thoughts while pregnant with her first son Archie.

Meghan Markle spoke about her ordeal and Oprah responded "nobody should have to go through that".

The American host then explained: "And, you know, Harry and I are working on this mental health series for Apple, and yeah we hear a lot of these stories."

The mental health documentary was originally scheduled for a 2020 release but has been likely delayed due to the pandemic.

The statement from the royal communication team at the time also read: "The dynamic multi-part documentary series will focus on both mental illness and mental wellness, inspiring viewers to have an honest conversation about the challenges each of us faces, and how to equip ourselves with the tools to not simply survive, but to thrive.

"This commitment builds on The Duke of Sussex's long-standing work on issues and initiatives regarding mental health, where he has candidly shared personal experience and advocated for those who silently suffer, empowering them to get the help and support they deserve.

"His Royal Highness has spent many years working with communities throughout the UK and young people across the Commonwealth to break the stigma surrounding mental illness and broaden the conversation of mental wellness to accelerate change for a more compassionate, connected and positive society."

Prince Harry also expressed his willingness to take part in the show and said: "I truly believe that good mental health – mental fitness – is the key to powerful leadership, productive communities and a purpose-driven self.

"It is a huge responsibility to get this right as we bring you the facts, the science and the awareness of a subject that is so relevant during these times.

He continued: "Our hope is that this series will be positive, enlightening and inclusive – sharing global stories of unparalleled human spirit fighting back from the darkest places, and the opportunity for us to understand ourselves and those around us better.

"I am incredibly proud to be working alongside Oprah on this vital series."
