[Video]: Toke Makinwa reacts while listening to a song that goes “Don’t need a man that’ll give you money” – “I reject it in Jesus name”

Top Nigerian media personality Toke Makinwa has insinuated that she wants a man that would give her money.

This comes as Toke Makinwa said she rejects any man that would not give her money.

Toke, who is yet to be married, made this known in a video she shared via her social media timeline while listening to a song.

The song then goes, "Don't need a man that'll give you money."

"Off that song," the media personality said when it got to that part of the song.

She added, "What does this statement mean? I reject it in Jesus' name."

Reactions as Tonto dumps Bobrisky for her new friendship with James Brown –“Bob will come for you”

Some Netizens on Instagram are happy about the new development as philanthropist Tonto Dikeh sets to grow a new friendship with James Brown after dumping former bestie, Bobrisky.

Recall that Tonto and Bobrisky were once best friends but the duo had fallen out of their friendship, with Bobrisky throwing shades at her publicly on Instagram. Bobrisky also is not on good terms with James Brown.


Crossdresser James Brown has been down with some undisclosed illness after a video of him receiving drips of water into his body surfaced on the internet.

Nigerian businessman and owner of Cubana Group, Obi Cubana, has hit over 1.2 million followers in less than a week on Instagram following the burial ceremony of his mother in Oba, Anambra State, last weekend.

Obi Cubana went viral on social media following the videos of heavy spending and lavish party which took place during his mother's burial ceremony.

Recall that he received over 200 cows from his friends and associates, as well as an expensive penchant which carried the image of his late mother.

The video vixen, Bolanle who was featured in singer Zlatan Ibile's smash hit song has allegedly been sent out of her 6 months marriage by her husband who had accused her of being violent.

Mz Bolanle as fondly called is a mother of one and is married to a man who's identified as Lincoln.

The video that has hit Instagram has shown Lincoln accusing her of being violent towards him and hence, the need to go back to her father's house.


He further claimed that she wasn't appreciative of the things he did for her. The husband also referred to her parents, stating that her mother's violent nature made her father ran from her.

Nollywoodtimes recalls that Obi Cubana kept social media buzzing over the weekend with video of his mother's elaborate burial at Oba, Anambra State, which had many Nigerian celebs in attendance, except Bobrisky.

The controversial cross-dresser claimed that he does not belong on Obi Cubana's level and that his worth is far greater than his own when asked why he was not at the party.

As she approaches 50, Nollywood actress Ufuoma McDermott has shared remarkable stories with her colleague Kate Henshaw

As colleagues and fans gushed over the actress, social media was bustling with birthday greetings and prayers for her, comparable to a 25-year-old event at 50.
 
Ufuoma McDermott, who took part in the social media event, recalled how Kate Henshaw stood by her when she was physically and verbally attacked by police officers in 2010.

Kate Henshaw was with Ufuoma McDermott for court fillings, physical appearances in court, and gave her strength during her decreasing state, according to Ufuoma McDermott.

Kate Henshaw, according to Ufuoma McDermott, has a sensitive and good heart, and she will never engage in problematic behavior.

She wrote:

Music Producer, Samklef Under Attack For Claiming Hushpuppi Is Better Than Some Nigerian Pastors And Politicians

Samuel Oguachuba, commonly known as Samklef, a music producer, made a controversial statement about Nigerian pastors and politicians, which drew a lot of backlash from Nigerians.

He claims that the well-known Nigerian scammer Ramon Abbas, also known as Hushpuppi, is better than 90% of Nigerian pastors and politicians, who he claims are hiding behind their professions.


This is coming after Bishop David Oyedepo, the Founder of the Living Faith Church, was accused of dismissing over thirty pastors for not earning enough cash in their branches.

He wrote, "To be honest hush puppy is better than 90 % of Nigerian pastors and politicians E get why."

However, Nigerians have stormed his Instagram page over his claims against Nigerian pastors.

Blue Origin to launch Jeff Bezos and other passengers to space Tuesday

The world's richest man, Jeff Bezos and three other passengers are set to fly to space aboard Bezos' space company, Blue Origin on Tuesday, July 20.

The space jet by New Shepard is expected to take flight at around 9 a.m. ET carrying Bezos, his brother Mark, aviator Wally Funk and Oliver Daemen, an 18-year-old and the company's first paying customer.

It will be the company's first launch with people aboard and the start of a new era for Blue Origin, which is trying to increase its customer base for earth- space flights.

Blue Origin isn't the only company looking to capitalize on the suborbital spaceflight market. Earlier this month, Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic flew Branson and other passengers to space. Elon Musk's SpaceX is also trying to launch flight into space.

Blue Origin says a webcast showcasing the launch will begin on it's website at 7:30 a.m. ET.

Before the flight, Blue Origin's passengers will be loaded into the New Shepard capsule stacked atop a rocket.

During the launch, the capsule will be rocketed to about 62 miles above the Earth where the passengers will feel minutes of weightlessness and be able to see the planet against the blackness of space before descending back to the surface under parachutes.

If all goes according to plan, Blue Origin says it will look to launch two more human missions this year.

Yul Edochie, a well-known Nigerian actor and director, has stated that he is merely a very excellent actor and not a ritualist.

His statement arises from the fact that he rose to fame by portraying ritualists in movies.
 
People frequently write him messages asking how they can do money rituals, but the actor responded in an Instagram post that he is a very good actor and not a ritualist.

The son of Nollywood's living legend, Pete Edochie, said, "Some people are sending me messages begging me to show them where they can do money rituals. Come on now guys, come on. Na film I dey act.

Official Date For BBNaija Season 6 Released

Multichoice Nigeria announced on Monday that season six of the reality show Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) will premiere on July 24.

Martin Mabudu, Multichoice customer officer, revealed this while addressing journalists, saying that this year's edition of the reality show will continue for 72 days and end on October 3, 2021.

Last year's winner of BBNaija Lockdown was Olamilekan Agbeleshe, aka Laycon.

He won N30 million in cash, a two-bedroom apartment from Revolution Plus, a top-of-the-line SUV from Nigerian automaker Innoson Motors, a trip to Dublin from Guinness, and household appliances from Scanfrost.

Daddy Freeze and Samklef reconcile after 3 years

Daddy Freeze and Samklef have reconciled 3 years after they mercilessly dragged and blocked each other on social media.

Recall that for months in 2018, Samklef and Daddy Freeze kept going back and forth, dragging each other, as they disagreed over religion.

Their fight began when Freeze criticized a report about the healing of a mentally challenged man at an RCCG church.

Samklef, slammed Freeze, telling him that his criticism of the church is getting boring.

The exchange heated up with Freeze telling Samklef his career is dead. Samklef hit back, calling Freeze a "fake ass oyinbo" and Freeze's followers "mumu Satan followers".

Samklef also called Freeze a "fool" and a "poor guy with a fake watch".

Freeze called him "the dolt with the brains of a colt" and said he needed publicity for his "putrefied album and necrotizing career".

Samklef later blocked Freeze on Instagram then did a beef song for him (read about the fight here, here, and here).


Well, Samklef has reached out, making it clear that he can now see "clearly". He said most religious leaders are "419" and Freeze was right all along. Freeze acknowledged his acceptance and admitted he should have been patient with Samklef at the time.

Morayo Afolabi-Brown, a media figure, has advised the terminated pastors of the Living Faith Church International, also known as Winners Chapel, to take their complaints to God.

Following news of the church's pastors being fired, the TV anchor announced it on her verified Instagram profile @morayobrown on Sunday.

She wrote, "God is the real MD (Managing Director) of any Bible believing church. If you get 'sacked', take your grievances to Him, not the media. Only He can compensate you, not the rabble rousers on social media."


This came when a priest at the Winners Chapel, Pastor Peter Godwin, said that the church had fired him and nearly 40 other pastors in Ekiti State for failing to grow their parishes.

Videos of the candlelight procession held in Lagos for late veteran singer Sound Sultan have gone viral.

Recall that the late singer died after battling cancer (Angioimmunoblastic T-cell( on Sunday, July 11th at the age of 44.

Sound Sultan, a Muslim faithful while he was alive, was buried according to Islamic injunction at a cemetery in New Jersey on Sunday, July 11.

A video that surfaced during the funeral showed that his wife, Farida Fasasi broke down entirely and, at one point laid her head on his coffin.

However, friends and family had held the candlelight procession in his honor. They were seen wearing black T-shirts as they held the candle and sing harmoniously.
