BBNaija Shine Ya Eyes: Whitemoney Blows Hot As He Vows To Beat Pere At His Own Game

BBNaija Season 6 Housemate, Whitemoney has made it clear that he will kill Pere with kindness and he knows Pere sees him as a big threat on the reality TV show.

Whitemoney made these claims during a conversation with fellow housemates JMK, Jackie B, Jaypaul and Princess. However, what led to the conversation was the argument that transpired between Maria, Pere and Whitemoney about having 18-inch hair.

The argument went so far that Whitemoney felt bad about the attack from Pere and Maria, and he assumed the attack was something personal and not just about the fact that they did not believe his claims of having 18-inch long hair.

JMK said she felt bad that she started the conversation and it ended up as a fight between Whitemoney and Maria.

Whitemoney said Pere and Maria have been like that to him and he knows where the energy is coming from. He added that he could only solve the issue by showing kindness to them, especially Pere.

He said, "Pere sees me as a threat and he knows I am smarter than him. I will kill him with kindness. "

JMK replied that she knows that she is new to the house, but so far she has observed that Pere sees him as a big threat. She said it is nice to know your competitors in a game, but it should not be toxic or malicious.

BBNaija: Whitemoney – Why I Didn’t Attend University, Secure Degree

Hazel Oyeze Onou, also known as Whitemoney, one of the Big Brother Naija Season 6 housemates, has finally revealed his reason for not having a university degree.

Whitemoney made the revelation during a conversation with one of the new BBNaija housemate, JMK.

JMK had approached Whitemoney to know more about him. In the process, Whitemoney told JMK that he does not have a degree because he did not have the opportunity to go to the university.


He added that, that's one of the reasons why he wants to get married to a smart woman, adding that he only wrote NECO examinations.

Whitemoney said, "I want a smart woman because I did not go to school due to the situation at that time. I am smart but I didn't go to school. I don't want a situation whereby my children will ask me about their assignments and I'll not be able to help them.

"My own is to make money. I don't know how to solve maths. Their mother will do that."

Whitemoney, however, revealed that his siblings have so many certifications and are big men.

"Any degree you want to talk about, my siblings have them. As for me, as I managed to finish my NECO, I said God be the glory," Whitemoney said.

BBNaija: Pere –All Housemates Are Dumb, Lazy

Big Brother Naija's housemate and current Head of House, Pere Egbi simply referred to as Pere, on Wednesday, described all housemates as lazy and dumb.

The 35-year-old former US army made the statement during a conversation with his deputy, Maria.

The Bayelsa-born said the housemates are lazy and dumb because they are yet to figure out that cooking is WhiteMoney's strategy.

Earlier, he had directed WhiteMoney stop cooking for the house because he doesn't like monopoly.

According to him, WhiteMoney has monopolized the kitchen and he hates it.

He also chose Angel, Tega, Princess and Jaypaul to be in charge of the Kitchen.

Speaking to Maria, Pere said he just saved the housemates and if they are smart they would realized WhiteMoney's strategy.

Pere said, "If these guys are smart, they would realized I just helped all of them lazy dumbass.

"We have one person monopolizing the kitchen in the guise of cooking for them and no one is picking what he is doing.

"If that is his strategy, I will knock him off his game."

The screen diva said all the hustle and bustle of life are all vanity while updating her Instagram stories.

Funke Akindele, who is widely known as 'Jenifa' stated that the quest of getting married, giving birth and making money will all end when death comes.

She wrote; "This life na vanity sha. I wan marry, I wan born, I wan make money… it all ends when we gone."

Actress Sunni Welles, Who Accused Bill Cosby Of Sexually Assaulting Her Twice, Dies At 72

American actress and singer, Sunni Welles is dead. She died at 72.

Sunni Welles was one of the many women to accuse Bill Cosby of sexual assault.

Welles' son, Shaun O'Banion, shared the news on Twitter on Monday, writing, "It is with profound sadness that I announce that my mother, Sunni Kay Welles, passed away today at the age of 72."


"If you have a moment, give a listen and think of her. She was an extraordinary woman," O'Banion continued, sharing a link to a recording of Welles singing "Rio de Janeiro Blues" with her jazz band, Shiver.

Welles died on Monday August 9, at a hospice care center in Downey, California, after a battle with lung cancer, O'Banion confirmed in a statement to ET.

"My mother was a fighter, literally from the day she was born. My grandmother would tell me my mom 'fit in the palm of her hand,' and 'looked like a baby bird.' Throughout her life and career, she was also like lightning in a bottle and always championed the work and efforts of others… But what I think she would be most proud of, and certainly what I am most proud of is what I think will be her legacy: Her voice. Not her singing voice, although that was stellar, too…," O'Banion added in a separate statement. "But her voice in speaking out publicly against the man who violated her and the fact that she and her sister survivors helped to change laws and, I hope, permanently alter the response to survivors of sexual assault. She was extraordinary in every way and I will miss her every day of my life." he said

Welles' acting career began when she was 10, with roles in popular TV shows including Leave It to Beaver and My Three Sons.

She later became an aspiring singer and moved to Las Vegas in 1979 to perform with the Folies Bergère musical variety show. She continued acting sporadically before turning her focus on being a jazz soloist with her band, which toured California in the 1990s.

In 2015, Welles was one of over 50 women to come forward with accusations of sexual assault against Cosby.

According to a statement released by Gloria Allred, who was representing Welles at the time, Welles claimed she was 17 years old when she went out to dinner with the comedian, after being introduced to him by her mom, who was a story editor at Paramount studios.

Welles claimed she went out with Cosby twice, and both times felt like she'd been drugged after drinking a Coke during their dinners. She alleged that on both occasions she blacked out remembered "waking up naked in a bed alone in a sparsely furnished apartment" all alone, and "felt as if I had had sex."

Cosby was released from prison in June, after serving three years behind bars after being convicted of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in 2004. His was overturned by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, after the court found that an agreement Cosby had with a previous prosecutor prevented him from being charged in the case in the first place, according to documents obtained by ET at the time.

Welles is survived by her son, O'Banion, his partner Petra Hejduková and their son Indiana, as well as her brother Larry Rihl and step-siblings Vivian Harris, Cindy Kashdin, Gene Rihl, Frank Rihl, and Alan Rihl.

Sensational actress Tonto Dikeh has revealed how she would nurture her girl child if she gets the chance to have one.

The Nollywood thespian stressed on Instagram that she would train the girl to know self-love and make her realise that all the love she needs is within her.

Tonto Dikeh shared an open letter-like note as a caption of the stunning new photos of herself posted on the social media platform.

She wrote; "If I ever have a girl child, I will make sure her FATHER WORSHIPS HER, TEACHES HER LOVE, SELF LOVE, SELF WORTHY, SHE WOULD GROW UP KNOWING THAT ALL THE LOVE SHE NEEDS IS INSIDE HER."

Sound Sultan’s wife, Farida wrote one month after his death — “It still feels like a bad dream”

Farida, the wife of late Nigerian singer Sound Sultan, has revealed what it feels like for her … one month after he passed away.

Recall that we reported, Sound Sultan passed away in July 2021 at his home in the United States after a battle with throat cancer, and was sadly laid to rest over there.

His unexpected death sent shockwaves all over the music industry and celebrity friends, fans, well-wishers and family all sent tributes to the 44-year-old singer.

However, just a month after Sound Sultan passed away, his beloved wife Farida has penned down an emotional note to him, pouring out her deepest feelings.

Taking to her Instagram page to disclose how she's feeling, Farida wrote below;

Indeed, her emotional post has gotten the attention of well-meaning Nigerians as a lot of people sympathized with her, during these trying times.

BBNaija: Emmanuel’s Instagram handler refutes rumours –“He’s not married”

The Instagram (IG) handler of Emmanuel refuted the rumour about the BBNaija housemate being married before getting into the house.

According to the post, the picture of Emmanuel with a lady donned in a traditional outfit was a mere photoshoot and nothing more.

On behalf of Emmanuel, the handler noted that he (Emmanuel) can't tie the knot without his relatives and family members being in the photoshoot.


The post reads;

I wouldn't be married without my friends and family by my side. Contrary to news making rounds, I am NOT MARRIED.

Arin played the role of a true friend as she consoled Angel over the fight that ensued between her and Sammie yesterday.

After the brawl with Sammie, Angel had been calm and had laid on her bed all day.

Stepping out to the garden, Angel disclosed to Arin how unhappy she was and revealed that she wants to take a break and also, how hectic it is constantly trying to prove herself to everyone she meets.


Angel went further to give an instance with Boma's words during their argument, "Am I your age mate?".

She said this was prompted by anger and she didn't have any deep issues with it.

"Even today when I was sitting here, he came to me and asked if I was planning on avoiding him, I didn't say anything, because, yes! I'll avoid you", Angel said

"Imagine making this situation about yourself, you are seeing this person who hasn't spoken a word all day in this place we are in, where we are surrounded with nothing but strangers. You can't see that they are hurting like crazy in their head. The audacity to make it about you, are you going to avoid me all day? If you were thinking straight you should have known that, now this is not all about you", Arin said.

"I can imagine how hurt you were by their laughter, I'm so happy and sad I wasn't there because it would have become my fight. First of all, you are seeing a very negative encounter going on the first thing you do is to laugh. Like, are you complete up there? There are many dark souls amongst us don't get it twisted"

Veteran Nollywood actress Liz Benson-Emeya has been trending on social media over a recent photo of her and her husband, Bishop Great Emeya.

The reports revealed the picture was taken at a church programme in Warri, Delta State, on Monday, August 10.


Liz Benson is a veteran actress, television personality and philanthropist who started acting professionally in 1993.

She was born on 29th April 1966 in Etinawa Akwa Ibom state. She attended Sylvania State College in the United States of America, where she got a degree in Dramatic Arts.


Liz Benson made it to the limelight after her role in Glamour Girls, released in 1994. She left the movie industry unexpectedly in 1996, only to return years later as a born again Christian.


She revealed she would only act in movies that aligned with her faith.

BBNaija: Former BBNaija’s housemate, Rico Swavey – “If you think cooking is a strategy in BBNaija’s house, then you’ll are wrong”

Former housemate Rico Swavey has countered Head of House, Pere who has opined that WhiteMoney's winning strategy is cooking.

Recall that Rico Swavey while in the house also cooked for the house but didn't make it to the top 5.


According to Rico, those who think cooking is a strategy in Big Brother Naija's house are all wrong.

He further tweeted;

"If y'aII are thinking cooking is a strategy in #bbnaija house then y'aII are ng.. Upbringinihnd the urge to feed people is the motivation. I mean if you love to cook why not?


In related news, Queen has stated that Pere is her kind of guy when going into a relationship.

She made this submission in an open discussion with the housemates including Pere himself.

As they all talked about relationships, she ended up making the closure that Pere fits perfectly into her kind of man. This is because she likes big guys since she's so small. The big guys will be able to cuddle her perfectly.

Former Big Brother Naija star Kemen has rebuked celebrities who intertwine toxicity with entertainment. According to him, entertainment isn't toxicity but the ability to trill or amuse one's audience.

Pere, after winning the Head of the House told Maria about his plan to remove White Money from the kitchen. He feels that cooking in the kitchen is White Money's strategy to win.

So today, Pere gathered the Housemates and announced that since Whitemoney has been cooking for 2 weeks now, that there is the need to change that because he wants to stop 'Kitchen Monopoly'.

According to the Actor, that saying has led many to an early grave.

His post on Instagram reads ;

One of the biggest lies I believed all my life, and till date still see people make the same mistake, is the lie that YOU CAN BE WHATEVER YOU WANT TO BE. This sentence has led so many people to their untimely death, frustration and hopelessness.


Imagine telling a sofa you can be a fridge or a fridge you can be a bed if you believe. Before the manufacturer of the sofa even started manufacturing it, he already knew the purpose of the sofa and the problem it would solve. The manufacture finished the product in his mind even before he started.

BBNaija: Pere – I Regret Picking Maria As My Deputy

Big Brother Naija, BBNaija housemate and Head of House, Pere, on Wednesday, said he regrets picking Maria as his deputy.

Pere disclosed this during a conversation with Saga.

The Bayelsa born was reacting to the heated argument between Maria and Queen


Recall that Maria and Queen had a heated argument, which almost led to a fight on Tuesday night.

The drama started after Whitemoney introduced Pere as a strategist during a game with all the housemates on Tuesday night.

Queen, the new housemate, agreed with the housemates, saying Pere is truly a strategic person.

However, Maria interrupted her saying: "It's just been two days, how would you say you know Pere is a strategist."

The statement got Queen furious as she confronted Maria, saying she belittled her.

After the incident, Pere confronted Maria but she was defensive.

Speaking to Saga, Pere said "I regret making Maria my assistant Head of house.

"She's bringing disrespect to the office of the HOH."
