4 symptoms of candida overgrowth and how to treat it

Candida albicans is a type of yeast that lives naturally in your gastrointestinal tract and other parts of your body.

Usually, Candida doesn't cause any problems, and it can even play a small role in assisting with digestion. The 'good bacteria in your gut work to keep Candida yeast in check.

Mood swings, anxiety, low mood, irritability, poor memory, and brain fog are often attributed to hormones or stress, but that's not always the case. Candida overgrowth is a major cause of mind and mood issues that can make life difficult.

Low energy and fatigue
Although fatigue is a common ailment in modern life, it's also a symptom in Candida sufferers. There are many ways that an overgrowth of Candida yeast can contribute to low energy and consistent exhaustion.

How to use apple cider vinegar
You can;

Mix it with your shampoo 
Mix it into your hair oil
How to wash your hair with apple cider vinegar
To wash your hair with apple cider vinegar

Pour one to three tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in warm water
After your hair is washed with shampoo, pour apple cider vinegar on your hair
Massage it into your scalp
Wait for a few minutes and rinse it out
Apple cider vinegar might give off an unpleasant smell, so you might want to use some essential oils like coconut or tea tree oil to hide the smell.

The nominations for the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards, which will take place in New York City on Sunday, September 12, have been announced.

Canadian singer, Justin Bieber is the most nominated person this year with seven nods, while rapper Megan Thee Stallion follows closely behind with six nominations.

Billie Eilish, BTS, Doja Cat, Drake, Lil Nas X, Olivia Rodrigo and Giveon each are tied with five nominations for an array of music videos, including "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)" and "Kiss Me More."

The VMAs, which had been delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic, will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the first time in seven years.

Five Nigerians who won medals for other countries at Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games

Nigeria team could only reach the podium twice at the recently concluded Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games with Ese Brume and Blessing Oborodudu winning bronze and silver medals.

But there are several other Nigerians who represented other countries and went ahead to win medals at the Summer Games.

Desalu Eseosa was part of the Italian Men's 4x100m quartet that won gold after a superlative performance in Tokyo.

The 27-year-old who was born to a Nigerian parent was given birth to in Italy and attained citizenship in 2012.

Chijindu Ujah made his second Olympics appearance for Britain and won a bronze medal in the men's 4x100m event after narrowly missing out on gold

He made his debut at the 2016 edition staged in Rio, Brazil despite starting out in his career as a footballer, although for an amateur club.

Ajomale Bolade helped Team Canada clinch a gold medal in the men's 4x100m event at the Summer Games.


Akinradewo Foluke was inspirational to the United States women's volleyball team following their gold medal triumph at Tokyo 2020 after beating Brazil in the final of their event.

The 33-year-old made her third appearance at the Summer Games this year having participated in the 2012 edition in London and Rio 2016 Olympics. She won bronze in Brazil five years ago and a silver medal nine years back.

Apostle Suleman’s lawyer responds to YouTuber’s arrest report – He called Apostle Suleman Hushpuppi’s partner and a fraudster

Apostle Suleman's lawyer, Samuel Amune has reacted to report of him getting a YouTuber identified as Israel Balogun, arrested and detained over a video he shared.

The 38-year-old had posted a video on his Youtube channel, where he showed clips of Suleman declaring to his congregation that angels would deposit money into their bank accounts. He generated mixed reactions after he described the claims as false and further slammed Suleman.

Apostle Suleman's lawyer has now made clarification on what led to Balogun's arrest. He maintained that the YouTuber was not arrested for his views on the 'miracle money', but for the unprintable names he called his client.

Amune said Balogun is being asked to prove that Suleman is a criminal, magician, bandit and a fraudster as he claimed. He also stated that the YouTuber is being asked to prove that the General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries International sends his Pastors to gather people's account number before any crusade and engaging in electronic money transfer, claiming it is "miracle money".

Warning that they will go after anyone who goes to the internet to insult men of God, an act he described as "cyber stalking/bullying" and a "major crime", Amune also said Balogun alleged that Apostle Suleman is a "yahoo man" and works in connection with Hushpuppi.

Nollywood actor, comedian and entertainer, Stanley Okoro (a.k.a. Junior Ibu/Rabbi O) has died. 

This is coming barely 24 hours after the death of Rich Oganiru, another Nollywood actor.

Comedian, Chief Obi became a citizen of US

Nigerian social media comedian Henry Obiefule better known as Chief Obi is now a US citizen.

 The 27-year-old, shared the good news via his Instagram page.


He wrote;

"They done messed around and made me a citizen!!! Wheeew…in less than 24 hours my accent changed along with my passport color. Activist, Edokpayi supports friend who’s marrying two women at once — “We must adopt polygamy to avoid being chidinminized by side chicks”

Human rights activist, Kola Edokpayi has given his unwavering support to a friend of his, who's about to wed two women same time, saying polygamy is the way to go.

According to Kola Edokpayi, polygamy is necessary for every man so as to avoid being "chidinminized by demented side chicks".

Mr Kola made this statement on his Facebook page as he praised his friend for doing 'things the right way' as it should, according to him.


He also says men who lived long enough in this world like Methusalah practiced this method, so other men should learn from them — while also combining the knowledge of King Solomon.

In his words, he wrote;

Superstar Nigerian singer Ayo Balogun, popularly known by his stage name Wizkid, has revealed his intentions to surprise fans with something special tomorrow.

Nigeria's iconic singer and songwriter, Wizkid, has bagged himself an MTV VMA Nomination with 'Brown Skin Girl', his 2019 collaboration with Beyonce.

The MTV Video Music Awards is an award show presented by the cable channel MTV to honor the best in the music video medium. Wizkid got nomination for being part of Beyonce's 'Lion King' album.


Wizkid got nominated for 'Best R&B' courtesy of Beyonce's 'Brown Skin Girl' and another nomination for 'Best Cinematography' for 'Brown Skin Girl' as well.

Popular Igbo vocals rapper, Phyno has revealed what will happen to any person who tries to look for riches by opting to use him for any form of sacrifice.

According to the "So Far So Good" crooner, such a move will shock the person who tries it, because more money … as he puts it, will surely come back to him (Phyno fino).


Phyno said this in a conversation with veteran Nollywood actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo who was present, as someone jokingly asked him that question.

In his words, Phyno said;

"Anybody wey use me for sacrifice go born money for me"

Grammy award winner, Damini 'Burna Boy' Ogulu gets called out over an alleged debt of N1.2M since the fourth month of 2021.

A Twitter user identified as @KacksMastermind calls out the singer after series of efforts to reach him to make payments for mint notes he acquired at a friend's birthday party.

According to the @KacksMastermind Burna Boy got 500 naira mints from him to the tune of N1M which he sprayed at a popular lounge.


The agreement was that Odogwu's P.A would make the payment transfer to the young man but the money exchanger did not receive the payment to date.

From snapshots shared on Twitter, he reached out to Burna Boy's mother through text but did not get a response.

Popular entrepreneur, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana has been spotted having a good time with one of Nigeria's veteran singers, Timaya.

The CEO of Cubana Groups who have been popular due to his enormous riches received a tremendous boost to his fame after the lavish burial ceremony he held in honour of his mother.


Taking to his official Instagram page which also gained massive followership due to the display of wealth and affluence, the billionaire shared a video of himself and Timaya vibing to his (Timaya) song, Don Dada.

Reality star’s Iyke and Theresa call off engagement

Former reality TV show Ultimate Love, Iyke and Theresa have called off their engagement.

The former couple met and fell in love during the maiden season of the reality TV show.

Theresa made the announcement via her Instagram on Wednesday, August 11, 2021.


It reads;

"I'm sorry to all Iykeresa lovers and believers but we've decided to go our separate ways which is best for us. We hope you respect our decision as we forge ahead with our lives and careers,".

Iyke and Theresa got engaged in May. The former couple came second at the end of the reality TV show.


They are the second couple from the show who have called off their engagement.

Sound Sultan's older brother, Babadee, blasts 'fake friends-Your Deaths Shall Also Be Used To Generate Social Media Content,

Nigerian singer, Dare Fasasi popularly known as Babadee has lashed out at those using his late brother, Sound Sultan for "social media content."

Babadee stated that some 'fake friends' are posting his brother's pictures on social media but haven't reached out to his wife since the singer's death and didn't bother to attend his memorial event.

He stated this on his Instagram page a month after the death of Sound Sultan.

WITHI NIGERIA recalls that the veteran singer, Olanrewaju Fasasi aka Sound Sultan, passed on on July 11 in the US after a battle with cancer.

Sound Sultan's widow, Farida , took to social media yesterday to pen down a touching tribute to the late Nigeria singer.

She said living without the singer has been the worst punishment life has thrown her way.
