Uche Maduagwu comes at Jim Iyke again — “Person spend 100 million naira for one movie, which job does he do?”

Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu has once again attacked his colleague, Jim Iyke over the source of his wealth.

Recall that Uche Maduagwu had earlier accused Jim Iyke of being a fraudster and r*tualist, as his source of income was 'suspicious'.

We reported, that Jim Iyke had cornered Uche Maduagwu a week ago after those accusations, and then proceeded to beat him up, even as several persons tried to stop the confrontation.


However, several colleagues and friends apparently intervened after that fight and Jim Iyke also came out to reveal he's forgiven Uche Maduagwu and has also made peace with him as well.
But it appears that Uche Maduagwu isn't over the matter, as he recently took to his Instagram page to release a new video of himself calling out Jim Iyke … still over his source of wealth.

According to him, Jim Iyke must answer to the EFCC over how he got N100M naira to shoot a movie when there's no money in the country.

He captioned the video writing;

"I was at the cinema because dem talk say you go come here today but Jim run him hear say Uche dey around. Person spend 100 million naira for one movie what is the job he dey do"

Actress, Abike Arab Money gifts herself acquires brand new Mercedes Benz

Beautiful Nigerian actress, Abike Arab Money has splashed millions on a brand new Mercedes Benz ride, she acquired recently.

The new whip, a Mercedes Benz GLE 450 luxury crossover, was revealed by the excited actress in a video making the rounds online.

Abike Arab Money who's widely known for her creative social media comedy and funny Tiktok videos, couldn't help her excitement as she blushed repeatedly in the video — while a friend drove her around in the car for the first time.


Congratulations have also poured in for the talented actress and influencer as she becomes a proud Mercedes Benz owner.

Actor IK Ogbonna has slammed a troll on Instagram who mocked his best friend and colleague, Alex Ekubo over his broken engagement.

Recall that Alex Ekubo got engaged to his girlfriend and was set to get married by November 2021.

Unfortunately, the duo unfollowed each other via Instagram which was also accompanied by a cryptic post made by his ex-fiancee, Fancy.


Despite this emotional setback, the Actor bagged a Ph.D. degree in Arts and Culture.

To congratulate him, his best friend, IK Ogbonna took to his Instagram page to extol him for his latest achievement. But unfortunately, a troll dropped a hostile remark in the comment box. IK Ogbonna didn't take the comment lightly as he fired back at the troll.

The troll wrote, "If them no give you marriage certificate, at least you collect doc. certificate".

Ogbonna replied; "you are yet to get a working brain".

Comedian Basketmouth’s wife, Elsie shared touching childbirth story

Elsie Okpocha, wife of the renowned comedian, Basketmouth recounted her heart-touching childbirth experience.

The mother of three took to her Instagram page to narrate the awful ordeal she went through in the process of giving birth to her baby who is 2-month-old now.

Sharing her story, she recalled how two hospitals rejected her at a very delicate stage when she had already started having contractions.

She also thanked God for seeing her through as both her life and that of her daughter were preserved despite the unfortunate incident that occurred.


Sharing some photos of the baby, she wrote:

"My Little Miracle…..

So let me share my testimony with you
So on the day I put to birth, I was rejected by 2 hospitals(I had registered in one of them ) even though labour had started and my contractions were happening every 2minutes, their reason was that I hadn't done my antenatal with them so they didn't want to take me in case there was an emergency,

So after 40mins of driving back and forth, I was eventually admitted to Reddington Hospital in VI, I can only thank God it was midnight so there was no traffic, so while in the labour room, my water broke and I had a cord Prolapse…. (Never heard of it until that day)

So a Cord Prolapse is when the cord comes out of the uterus before the baby, when this happens, it can result in a loss of oxygen to the baby, and may even result in a stillbirth.

But God was gracious, he was kind, he didn't let the Devil win…. When I saw the Doctor and Nurses Panic, I knew Something was wrong, in that moment of fear, I started to declare life for myself and my baby, thankfully God came through as always

Fortunately the Doctor knew the emergency steps to take to keep my baby alive while they prepared me for an emergency CS, the CS doctor arrived in good time and I had my baby who is well and alive.Thank you Lord."

Nigerian singer Burna Boy has taken to Twitter to brag about his achievements in life after he successfully sold out his London concert.

The singer, who once left Twitter after being attacked by Nigerians who accused him of being arrogant, held a concert at the O2 arena in London.

However, after the concert, he took to his Instagram Stories to write to say that Twitter isn't real life adding that he always wins in real life.


"I sold out the O2 by myself. At the prices I wanted. The way I wanted. Never talk much, just show action!

"I stay thanking God that real life is not Twitter or social media.

" I always win in Real Life. ALWAYS! Remember that," he wrote.

His tweet however generated a lot of criticisms from followers and fans who accused him of being proud while reminding him that pride goes before a fall.

Singer MC Galaxy Reacts To Maria’s Eviction

Nigerian musician MC Galaxy has reacted to the recent eviction of housemate Maria, whom many perceived lively and interesting.

On Sunday night, August 29, 2021, Maria, Jumoke (JMK) and Sammie were sent packing from the Big Brother Naija Season 6 Shine Ya Eye Show.


MC Galaxy, through his Instagram account, stated that the remaining housemates cannot sleep their ways to the top while lively people get evicted.

The 'Sekem' crooner advised, "Dear @BBNaija please we need all housemates to be up this week, apart from the HOH, People cannot sleep their way to the top."

"Since the show started, some housemates haven't been mentioned in the DR for nomination. The lively ppl can't be going home. Do something."

Nigerians on social media have expressed their shock over the eviction of Maria. They applauded her for being very active and giving viewers much things to talk about.

In her parting words, Maria appreciated her fans for the astonishing support she got throughout her stay in the house. "It's unfortunate that I have been evicted. I thank you all for your phenomenal support. Thank you," she said, following her eviction.

Actor Jnr Pope has chided his colleague Onyii Alex for saying that it's a sin for a broke man to fall in love with her.

Onyii Alex took to her Instagram to opine that as a hustler that it is a sin for a broke man to fall in love with her because she's a hustler and doesn't want to go broke.

Reacting to this, Jnr Pope who responded to her controversial statement has opined that rich men help 95% of broke women. He further questions why the female gender cannot repay the favor.

Actress, Pasuma’s Rumoured Wife, Actress Jaiye Kuti, Celebrates 21st Wedding Anniversary With Real Husband

Legendary Nigerian actress Jaiye Kuti has reached out to young women as she celebrates 21st wedding anniversary with her husband, Mr. Olanrewaju Charles Kuti.

The Nollywood thespian advised young women to be submissive and respect their husbands to have a successful marriage.

She also added that marriage is more than marrying the man himself, they have to get married to everyone around him; his mother, father, siblings, friends, and workers.

Jaiye Kuti also reflected on how his marital journey with Olanrewaju Kuti started and how he insisted she gets a university degree. In her words, "When I was going to marry my husband, I was already a graduate from the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro in Ogun State, but my husband insisted I go to the University."


"So I enrolled into the University of Lagos. My husband is always insisting on anything good anyway (smiles). Because of this and so many other good things he was doing for me, I said yes and agreed to marry him."

"Then we got married, and I thought it was going to be a bed of Roses but I did not find any roses, not even a single rose, but after many years the roses that are in the house started coming out because of our steadfastness. Ours is a bed of understanding."

She continued; "If you are a young woman out there getting married, you have to respect your husband, you have to be submissive, you see, marriage is not just about marring that man but you are marrying anyone that are with him: his mum, his dad, his friends, his family, and even his workers. You have to know how to manage everybody. Everything might be working against you in the marriage but because of the great understanding you will scale through."


Jaiye Kuti counselled young couples about behaviours to expect from their partners. She opined that there are a lot of things to be overlooked in marriage. In her words; "My advice for the young couple is that they should not expect their spouses to be always perfect, like when they are in courtship or dating. Some women change after they get married, and the husband begins to wonder how he got to that point in the first place, same goes for the woman too."

"The day you say yes to a man, you didn't say yes so that he can be beating you or he can be denying you of so many good things of life but it might happen, you know… it happens. You have to overlook a lot of things in marriage for you to have peace and you have to create peace in your home and put roses in your house as a woman."

"Today I am thanking God for my husband, you know, last year he was terribly sick for a whole year and I was running from one hospital to another but today I thank God and that is the part of the understanding and with a lot of prayers God will be on our side."

"So my advice to people is that they should not see any marriage as a bed of roses but it is you in that marriage that will create the roses and put it in the marriage."

A while ago the thespian was said to be married to popular fuji musician, Pasuma, but later debunked the rumours while declaring that she was shocked by the tales.

To clear the air, Jaiye Kuti, explained that the rumours emanated from a movie she shot with the respected fuji icon and they got wedded in the film. She added that the pictures from the flick flooded the internet, making people spew false news.

Jaiye Kuti reacts to rumored marriage to Pasuma:
Actress, Jaiye Kuti, has said that she was shocked when she heard the viral rumour that she was married to a popular fuji artiste, Wasiu Alabi, aka Pasuma.

Kuti made this known as a guest at Inspire Nigeria Summit, a virtual summit held to motivate young Nigerians.

Asked how she reacts to rumours being peddled about her, the actress said, "There was a time I shot a movie with Pasuma. We had a wedding (in the movie) and the pictures were out there. The next thing I saw in the press was that 'Jaiye Kuti marries Pasuma'. People did not even go to the body of the story to read what was actually there. They just saw the headline and concluded that I had really married Pasuma. When one wants to be great in life, people would say bad things about one. People could say things that could kill one instantly. The beauty of it is that one has one's legs and one can keep going.

"People that are spreading rumours about one won't grow. I have heard shocking stories about me. Some people said I gave birth to Mayowa and Temitope Kuti and their father was Pasuma. I don't have the time to start explaining to everybody that we were only making a movie. I don't explain things to people. When they greet me, they tell me to extend greetings to Pasuma, and I tell them that I will. When last did I see Pasuma? He was paid to work and he left. Rumours are part of what we live on. It is part of what makes us what we are. One has to be strong to take it. It is like an arrow shot at one. One should not let it kill one; rather, one has to keep going."

Kuti also stated that her husband had understanding and supportive despite her busy schedule. She added, "My husband has been so much of a blessing. I have been on locations for months. I have been on the set of a TV series, 'Borokini' for seven months. We only come home on weekends. I come home on Saturdays and return Monday morning. I was away from the house for about seven months on that project. My husband is such a wonderful man, who is very understanding. In relationships, love is not enough. Understanding is what makes a relationship work between a man and his wife; not love. It is that understanding that has kept us going and kept our marriage intact. I have known my husband for 23 years and we have been married for over 20 years. We are still going strong. We are still friends because we understand each other."

Talent manager, Kara shades Onyii Alex —“Looking for rich men to make broke is not a job”

Talent manager, Kara has hit out at Nollywood actress Onyii Alex for saying it is a sin for a broke man to fall in love with her.

Recall that Onyii Alex took to her Instagram Stories earlier to write that she's a hustler, and therefore it is a sin for a broke man to fall in love with her because she doesn't want to go broke.

Reacting to the actress' statement on Instagram, Kara said that Onyii Alex should stop looking for rich men to make broke, as a result of her materialistic desires.


She wrote;

"Too many money minded harebrained females out here making too much noise… ssshhhh you are scaring sensible men and women with all these opinions on who is broke and who isn't… how about the most important factor of companionship… winning together is more fun but no one wants to hear that… Money is a reward for enterprise remember…? Nollywood Actor, Funsho Adeolu Stirs Commotion In Ikorodu Church

Nollywood Actor, Funsho Adeolu stole the show during the thanksgiving session at the Joy cometh Ministry, Ikorodu on Sunday, August 29, 2021.

The actor who was thankful for all the blessings from God, threw all caution into the wind and danced like the Biblical king David.

Sweating hard, Funsho Adeolu joyfully rendered a dance appreciation to the Almighty, as some members starred on while some joined him in the session.

We recall that Funsho Adeolu recently blasted veteran actor Jide Kosoko alongside other stakeholders of the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria over threat to frustrate Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing in the Nollywood industry.

The decision followed the condemnation of their colleague, Baba Ijesha, alleged of defiling the foster daughter of Nigerian comedienne, Princess.

Nkechi Blessing and Iyabo Ojo also clashed with some TAMPAN members, such as Yomi Fabiyi, Lege Maimi, who kicked against them for openly condemning Baba Ijesha.

However, veteran actor Jide Kosoko during a press briefing, said the association frowned at the derogatory statements made by Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing against the Association and the industry as a whole.

Reacting, Funsho Adeolu in a post shared on Instagram said he's ashamed of the leadership of the association adding that they do not have the interest of their members at heart.

He wrote: "My face is covered, not because of covid but in shame on behalf of those who call themselves leaders of local association and do not have the interest of members at heart. God is watching o"

Uche Maduagwu Mocked Alexx Ekubo Over Broken engagement

Uche Maduagwu, has thrown a shade at his colleague, Alexx Ekubo, who recently suffered a relationship setback as he and his ex fiancé, Fancy Acholonu, called off their engagement.

This came as a rude shock to all as preparations for their wedding were in top gear. Fancy however announced their break up in am Instagram post where she stated that everyone should be able to 'live their truth.'

On Saturday, August 28, Alex bagged a doctorate degree from the Institut Supérieur de Communication et de Gestion in Benin Republic.

Uche while reacting to Alex's latest achievement, opined that it is unwise of him to celebrate his honorary degree since his relationship just packed up.

The week six Head of House challenge, which took place on Monday, August 30 came with a different twist, and according to Big Brother, two Housemates, a male and female will take up the position at the end of the game.

After the challenge, Jaypaul and Jackie B were crowned the double Head of House after finishing their respective games as the fastest challengers.

Also, Big Brother announced that after the two Heads of House emerged, all the remaining 15 Housemates will automatically be up for possible eviction.

This means that aside Jaypaul and Jackie B, the Housemates left are Whitemoney, Pere, Boma, Yousef, Peace, Liquorose, Emmanuel, Angel, Saskay, Cross, Tega, Queen, Micheal, Saga, Nini and they're all up for possible eviction.

And on Sunday, at least one of them will be evicted from the show during the Sunday live show.

Viewers of the show have the opportunity to save any of their favourite Housemates from getting evicted from the Shine Ya Eye show.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Leo Dasilva has commended the organizers of this year's show for changing the voting system.

Leo said this while reacting to comments by fans of the show after Maria was evicted.

Recall that Maria, who was perceived to be strong in the game, was evicted during the live show on Sunday.

Some viewers were shocked and in disbelief.

Reacting, Leo said the new voting system will allow fans to determine the actual winner of the grand prize.

This year, only online vote is available and no SMS voting.

"Kudos to Big Brother Naija for this online voting. It allows the fans to actually decide the winner of the show and the faith of their favourites genuinely.

"This is the best upgrade the show has received." he wrote on Twitter

Bishop Oyedepo appeals to single people – Don’t jump into marriage because somebody has money

Senior Pastor of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, has appealed to young people not to get married because of money.

Taking a cue from his own life, the clergyman gave the advice while preaching in his church on Sunday, August 29, stating that he did not have money when he got married to his wife, Faith, 39 years ago.

''You don't jump into marriage because somebody has money. I didn't have no money. I didn't look like someone who will have money. Just one boy who doesn't know what he is saying, always saying, "Jesus loves you."

There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

You couldn't imagine that you could see the meaning of wealth and now they say, "He is the richest Pastor in the world." From the forest.

They have a right to say that because he doesn't borrow, he doesn't beg and yet he doesn't lack. Then what is wealth?

For someone to say, "you can't marry that person. You know your status, my status in town, you want to marry somebody who is …! Don't let me talk nonsense to you."

There are some parents like that: they are the ones to marry their daughter to somebody.
