BBNaija’s Maria eventually meets senior colleague, Alex Unusual days after saying she doesn’t know her

Former Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Maria has finally met with her senior colleague, Alex Unusual at an event in Lagos recently.

Recall that Maria Chike was dragged on social media by viewers of the show, after saying she doesn't know who reality star, Alex Unusual is.


A fan had asked Maria during an Instagram question and Answer session, if she was friends with Alex Unusual and in response, the former BBNaija housemate said that she wasn't familiar with that person.

In her words;

"I don't know who that is, I'm not being rude and i hope they don't think I am rude, unless they go by another name. because I actually don't know who that is." 


Well, the two ex-housemates have finally met at Mercy Eke's store opening which held in Lagos on Sunday, September 19th.

In a video that was shared online, the both of them could be seen having a good time together, as they were spotted hugging and chatting amid smiles on their faces.

BBNaija 2021: Angel reveals to Pere before eviction show, Plans she has for Boma outside the house

On Sunday afternoon, BBNaija Season 6 housemates Angel and Pere had a brief discussion about life after the house.

During their conversation, Pere asked Angel if she has any interest in linking up with her fellow housemates once the show is over. Angel replied,  saying she doesn't have a problem with that but will never force anybody to stay in contact with her.


Pere replied her with a follow-up question on if she will forgive Boma for their fallout before he left the show.

In his own words, "will you forgive Boma if he came to apologize to you outside the house.?"

Angel responded, "no, and if Boma reaches out to me after I leave this house on social media, I will block him."

Pere enlightened her about the possibility of Boma regretting his actions towards her as he emphasized it was all part of the game.

Angel stood her ground, saying "that is his problem because I won't play that kind of game with another person."

Okon Lagos curses corrupt politicians and fraudsters

Actor Bishop Umoh a.k.a Okon Lagos has lashed out at online fraudsters popularly known as yahoo boys and corrupt politicians over their activities.

Okon Lagos asked yahoo boys on his list to unfollow him again as they are no Robinhoods, because the super rich people are beyond their reach. He stated that these online fraudsters steal from the poor, lower and upper middle class, and drive them into suicide or contemplation of it.

Also addressing corrupt politicians, the actor accused them of stealing the collective commonwealth of the poor people they were elected or appointed to lead and provide for. Okon Lagos further prayed that the days of these corrupt politicians turn out dark, short, slippery and thorny.


He wrote;

Also to ALL the corrupt politicians who STEAL the collective commonwealth of the poor people they were elected or appointed lead and provide for, may ALL your days be DARK and SHORT and your paths, SLIPPERY and THORNY! And may the congregation Answer Amen!

Singer Liam Gallagher Suffers Face Injury After Falling Off A Helicopter

After falling off a helicopter, 48-year-old English singer, Liam Gallagher has suffered a face injury .

The former Oasis frontman cum solo artist, suffered a freak injury after headlining the Isle of Wight festival last night.


Gallagher tweeted;

"So check this out I fell out the helicopter last night you couldn't rite it all good who said RnR is dead Keith moon eat your drum skin out C'mon you know LG x."

In the photo he shared, he had two plasters on his nose and scrapes and bruises across his face.


When a fan asked about the height of the fall, saying Gallagher must have missed the step and "face planted" after the helicopter had landed, but did not mention this "because that's not very rock n roll", the singer jokingly responded by saying "100 thousand feet". To another fan asking if there was any footage or CCTV of the incident, he said: "Yeah it's in the nxt video."

His accident came a day after the premiere of Oasis: Knebworth 1996 – a new film on the band's iconic gigs in Knebworth Park. The huge gigs followed the release of 1994 debut album Definitely Maybe and its even bigger follow-up (What's the Story) Morning Glory.

BBNaija: Yousef Reveals Future Plans, Relationship With Angel

Yousef,  one of the recently evicted Big Brother Naija housemates, has said he's not disappointed about his eviction from the reality show.

NOLLYWOODTIMES had earlier reported that Yousef was evicted from the reality TV show on Sunday night during the live eviction show.


When asked about his future plans outside the house, Yousef told the BBNaija official host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, that he hopes to be in the movie industry.

"I'm looking forward to endorsement deals, I also hope to go into acting.

"I feel I've been sliding through to the eighth week so I'm grateful to be out here."
 
Speaking on his relationship with Angel, Yousef said he just enjoys Angel's vibe.

"Angel is always open to me and I enjoy her vibe," Yousef said.

BBNaija: Cross Tells Angel – I Miss You, Want You Back

Cross, one of the Big Brother Naija season 6 housemates, has begged fellow housemate and bestie Angel to stop ignoring him.

NOLLYWOODTIMES recalls that Angel suddenly stopped talking to Cross who she has shared a lot of intimate moments with in the house.

Cross has also approached her countless times to ask for forgiveness while demanding that she let him know if he has wronged her in any way.

He further noted that he was confused because they both were cool a night before she started acting up and avoiding him.

Even when asked what the matter was by Ebuka during the eviction show, Angel refused to state why she was suddenly avoiding her bestie, Cross.

However, during a discussion with Pere and Angel, Cross said he misses her so much, adding that he hopes she forgives him for whatever it is he has done to her.

"I miss my bestie. Angel, I know you won't want to talk to me, but you need to know I miss you.

"I'm saying it out loud so that you can hear me, if at all it makes sense to you. Just know that I miss you and I want you back," he said.

BBNaija: 6 Housemates Up For Eviction As Emmanuel Wins Veto Power, Picks Liquorose As HOH

As the Bring Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye season draws to a close, a new twist has been introduced in place of the Head of House games.

This twist is known as the ultimate veto power, which was introduced on Monday, the 58th day of the show and early in the penultimate week.

The winner of the Ultimate Veto Game will be crowned with the Ultimate Veto Power of the Week.

As the holder of the ultimate veto, the housemate will gain the power of immunity and the power to choose the head of the house for the week.

Each of the housemates had to collect as many points as possible at the end of the game. The housemate with the most points wins the ultimate veto.


The game for the holder of the ultimate veto power was quite different from the usual games for the head of the house.

Emmanuel and Cross finished with the same points higher than others as Biggie introduced another round to break the tie. Emmanuel emerged overall winner and was crowned with the Ultimate Veto Power of the Week.

He picked Liquorose as the Head of House and Cross as the deputy.  Big Brother exempted the trio from being up for eviction this week.

635 Nollywood movies produced in 2021 second quarter -NBS

The total number of movies produced by Nollywood in the 2nd quarter of 2021 jumped to 635 from 416 in the 1st quarter, the National Bureau of Statistics states.


NBS published the figure on Wednesday in its "Nollywood Movies Production Data for Quarter Two, 2021" on its website.


According to the publication, the figure indicates a growth of 53.93 per cent Quarter on Quarter and a 1.44 per cent Year on Year growth over the 626 movies produced in the second quarter of 2020.


In its analysis by location, it said that Lagos State had the highest number of movies produced with 234 closely followed by Abuja with 196 movies and Onitsha with 174 movies.


However, Jos had nine, Kano six, while Benin and Port-Harcourt recorded the least with seven movies each.

The bureau said that in arriving at the figures, data was provided by the National Film and Video Censors Board, verified and validated by NBS.

Hours after the eviction show, WhiteMoney decided to address her statements as he bluntly told Queen he felt bad when she uttered those words he categorized as 'disrespectful'.

Hollywood Actress, Amy Schumer’s Uterus, Appendix Removed

Hollywood actress and comedienne, Amy Schumer has revealed she is recovering from surgery after having her appendix and uterus removed due to complications related to endometriosis.

The 40-year-old comedian and actress who underwent IVF last year in a bid to conceive her second child revealed her recent procedure in an Instagram video that was filmed by her husband, Chris Fischer.

Schumer said;

"So it's the morning after my surgery for endometriosis and my uterus is out.

"The doctor found 30 spots of endometriosis that he removed. He removed my appendix because the endometriosis had attacked it. There was a lot of blood in my uterus and I'm sore and I have some like, gas pains."
