For many, deciding to stop wearing underwear may seem like an odd choice.

After all, to some, wearing underwear is as much of a routine as breathing. You put it on under your clothes every day before heading to work, school, or the gym.

Maybe you prefer rainbow-coloured boy shorts over barely-there bikinis or lace thongs — there are a lot of options out there! But why do we wear underwear at all?

More and more women are choosing to forgo underwear for comfort, health, or appearance — no one likes panty lines or wedgies. And while wearing underwear has its benefits, going underwearless may do you some good.

Here are few things that happen to your body when you stop wearing underwear:

You may reduce your risk of developing a UTI or yeast infection
No one likes getting an infection down there — it can be itchy, debilitating, and downright annoying. Turns out, if you stop wearing underwear, you may reduce your chances of developing a urinary tract or yeast infection, especially for those of you who suffer regular bouts of vaginal infections

Panties can trap excess moisture and microbes. And that can create a moist environment where Candida, a fungus that causes yeast infections.

It's good for sleep
While ditching your underwear right before bedtime isn't a hard and fast rule, the practice could help give your lady bits a cool break, especially if you wear underwear during the day. Simply put, your vagina needs fresh air sometimes.

You may reduce your risk of experiencing allergic reactions
If you stop wearing underwear, you may avoid itchy allergic reactions. This is often your skin's reaction to certain "fabrics, dyes, chemicals and preservatives" found in underwear, including latex, which is often used for the waistband.

You may see less discharge
Alright ladies, let's talk about vaginal discharge. It may not be the most glamorous topic, but it needs to be addressed regardless as we all deal with it, and some may be a little more often than others.

Turns out there is some good news when it comes to discharge, which is a combination of bacteria, vaginal skin cells, and mucus and fluid from the cervix and vagina. You actually may experience less of it if you stop wearing underwear altogether, especially if you normally wear non-cotton panties.

May avoid digestive issues 
Tight undergarments may cause pressure on the stomach and, as a result, push acid into the oesophagus, causing the digestive condition. If you don't have a reflux problem yet but have a predisposition to it, then wearing tight garments could tip you over the edge into being a sufferer.

Water is very important to your health, wellness and wellbeing. Bet that's not news, right?

But did you know that drinking water at certain specific times of the day could be beneficial to you in ways you probably never even thought or imagined?

Well, we are here to tell you that guzzling water at these five strategic times of the day will be help you maximise its benefits to you!

1. Before bed
If you are fully hydrated before going to bed and sleeping, you lower the risk of stroke and heart attack.

Dehydration elevates the risk factors for cardiovascular disease, specifically heart attack, and stroke.

A heart attack occurs mostly in the morning because the blood is thicker caused by loss of water.

This is a good reason to drink water at night to keep your body hydrated while you are sleeping.

2. When you wake up
If you sleep for 8 hours, that means you are also not drinking any fluids for 8 hours, and your body slowly becomes dehydrated. Drinking water before eating anything aids in cleaning your colon and helps the body to absorb more nutrients.

Four cups sets your body in motion for the production of hematopoiesis, which is new blood.

3. Before a meal
Drinking water before a meal speeds up the digestion process than drinking during meals.

If you are on a diet and you want to lose weight, drinking water before you eat could also make you eat less because you already feel full.

4. After a meal
It is recommended to drink one glass of water after a meal, but do not drink when you are eating. This will allow the body to absorb the nutrients efficiently.

Drinking after a meal also helps to prevent constipation.

5. Before you step into the shower
Drinking one glass of warm water before taking a bath can help lower blood pressure.

This has also been said to help the dilation of your blood vessels, which causes blood pressure to drop.

Drinking water also reduces sodium levels in the body, which also serves to lower the blood pressure.

Former Big Brother Naija "Shine Ya Eye" housemate, Angel has disclosed how she went through her father's phone and was shocked to see false reports about her relationship with Emmanuel.

Angel revealed this during an interview with Toke Makinwa while having an argument with Emmanuel about who started flirting with each other first in big brother's house.


Recall, while the duo were still in the house, there were speculations that Emmanuel was having a closer relationship with Liqourose but at some point, people started noticing that Emmanuel was flirting with Angel.

Emmanuel was asked why he was rubbing Angel during their house task. He smiled and said having a girlfriend doesn't mean he can't have a friend, adding that he sees Angel as his baby sister.

While Emmanuel was still talking, Angel cut in and called him a liar. She stated that when her dad came for the show, he gave her his phone to hold.

She said she was curious, she decided to go through the phone and she discovered that there were false reports that she was flirting with Emmanuel in the house and she couldn't believe her ears.

Veteran Nigerian actress Ruth Kadiri has stated why the federal government of Nigeria will not invest in other sectors that will boost the country's foreign exchange.

Ruth Kadiri bared her thoughts on Friday, October 8, 2021, via her Instagram page. She opined that the government is fixated on Oil and gas, and borrowing money from foreign countries because of their selfish interests.

She said that the oil and gas sector produces money that can be swiftly siphoned, however, other sectors like Agriculture do not.

The 33-year-old mother of one noted that the government would rather continue to watch the Naira nose-dive than to stop borrowing and invest in other sectors that will drive the country's economy forward.

"Do you know that even if you have been saving 1 Naira daily since 1st of January, you won't still have 1 Dollar by 31st of December? That is how bad the Naira had fared against other currencies of the world. The union called Nigeria doesn't seems to be working, but the government aren't happy to hear that."

"To grow the value of our Naira, the government needs to stop borrowing and start looking inward for value propositions within the country itself. We have alternatives to oil and gas, but it is not going to be the fastest way to raise funds that will be siphoned by the government officials."

"That is why borrowing from China, Brazil and others is seemingly becoming the norm. That works faster and it is the easiest means of raising money than investing in agriculture and others alternatives we have."

Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri has complained bitterly on the new look of a 17-year-old street hawker who ruled our screen a month ago with her angelic voice.

It is no news that the girl named Salle has won the hearts of many Nigerians with her vocal performance after a video of her surfaced online. In a new photo, Salle had worn a beach bra with jingles.

We recall that she was spotted with her tray when she was asked to sing a song with a freestyle beat and she did exceptionally well with her captivating voice.


However, Reno Omokri has appealed to her management not to strip her of that innocence that was displayed before she became a star. Adding that he prefers her former look to the present one.

Reno said losing her innocence in the course of her music career is totally wrong.

He wrote:

"May God bless and prosper her. I prefer her former look. Her talent is her voice, and her grass to grace story is her appeal. I hope those managing her don't strip her of that undefiled innocence we saw barely a month ago. That unspoilt, pure innocence is her ticket to the top!

However, according to a leaked video released by a controversial blogger, Gist Lover, Bobrisky's butt enlargement went sideways as his hip is reported to have been infected causing a blue-black pattern.

Whitemoney’s fans attack handler over inappropriate management – “Free him, you’ve caused too much harm”

MoneyGeng, the fanbase of the winner of the BBNaija Season 6 Edition, Whitemoney has attacked his handler, Promise while accusing him of inappropriate management.

In a series of tweets made by enthusiasts of the 29-year-old businessman, they accused him of restricting fans from Whitemoney and not adequately covering his activities outside the house.

Controversial crossdresser, Idris 'Bobrisky' Okuneye gets exposed on how his lifestyle is based on lies, preys on young boys with fake promises, and many more.

A social media influencer identified as @ShadrackofLagos opened the book of reckoning on Bobrisky as he pens alleged secrets about the male barbie without holding back.

According to the influencer on his Instastory, Bob specializes in lying about having affairs with celebrities, one of which includes Nollywood actor, Timini, and singer, Skiibi.


Shadrack further added that Bobrisky could not afford his butt enlargement surgery outside Nigeria due to financial constraints, and ended up having it done – which is now infected – by Dr. Anu, a popular surgeon known for a number of botched surgeries.

Controversial Instagram blogger, Cutie-julz has revealed more details about the new house acquired by the reality star, Tacha a few weeks back.

According to the blogger, Tacha never acquired a new house, rather it was a rented apartment contrary to the news which flew around that she bought herself a new mansion.

The blogger placed the blame on the newsmen for jumping to a conclusion that she purchased a new house after she uploaded the video.

Nigerian artiste, Tiwa Savage has announced her decision to open up to her 6-yesr-old son, Jamil about her s*x tape with lover.

This comes after the controversial singer cried out on social media over being blackmailed by someone who has the tape.

However, in a recent update, Tiwa Savage vowed not to release any money to the blackmailer as she promised to open up to her son about it.

"No part of me wants to pay the person. That is what is getting me angry. If you want to put it out, put it out. I am that crazy that I can put it out myself. You are not making any money from me.

Veteran actor, Chiwetalu Agu has defended himself amid interrogations and questions that were thrown at him by personnel of the Nigerian Army.

Recall that on Thursday 7th October, the movie star was arrested and brutalized by the Nigerian Army for putting on an outfit designed with the Biafran flag.

President of Mount Zion Faith Ministries and Mount Zion Television, Mike Bamiloye, and his wife, Gloria, celebrate their 33rd wedding anniversary.

The actor took to his Instagram page to shower his darling wife with a booming note of appreciation for the life they've spent together.


Sharing a photo of themselves, Mike Bamiloye wrote to his wife, "TO GLORIA THE MOST PRECIOUS GIFT

I have written this before and I felt compelled to write it again, because I am happy to write it again.

On October 8th, 1988, on our Wedding Day, a member of our ministry met me as I was coming out of the Wedding Reception and said this profound statement that I have never forgotten since that day.


She said: "Bro Mike, Our ministry has now just began" And that was after three years that our ministry had began, a ministry member saying it was the day I go married the ministry actually began. I did not understand the statement, until I began to understand through diverse experiences.
Today, on the thirtieth year of the marriage that began 32 years ago, I can confidently say with proper understanding, that I would never have gotten any successful ministry without You GLORIA OLUSOLA ALABA.
