| Eucharia Anunobi –Why People Saw Me As A Seductress Posted: 22 Oct 2021 11:00 PM PDT  Eucharia Anunobi, a Nollywood veteran, has revealed that she was seen as a seductress after featuring in the 1994 hit film Glamour Girls part two.The actress made this known in an interview shared on Instagram on Thursday.According to her, there have been misconceptions about actors and the role they play. Using the hit film Glamour Girls as an example, the actress said that she was always looked at in a 'seductive way' after the movie was released. "A lot of people they see you in public and they look at you funny like 'oh my God' he acted that role or she acted that role they begin to make you feel like the character you played, the role doesn't define you and it's very challenging.  "I remember when I did the movie Glamour Girls part two and you know in that movie I played the role of a student and not just a student, I played the role of a seductress, a husband snatcher, a man who came after me, he fell in love with me and I got married to him and then when the movie came out everybody was looking at me like 'oh my God she is so sexy'. She is going to take my husband from me. Sometimes when couples are walking by, I will see the woman subconsciously hold the husband very well, it was very funny but it was challenging," she said in parts. | Squid Game: Lee Jung-jae, ‘Player 456’ Reveals Which Season Was Most Difficult To Film Posted: 22 Oct 2021 10:00 PM PDT  Squid Game star Lee Jung-jae, who played the role of Gi-hun (Player 456), reveals which of the show's deadly games were most difficult to film.Squid Game features a talented ensemble that includes Park Hae-soo, Wi Ha-joon, Jung Ho-yeon, O Yeong-su, Heo Sung-tae, Anupam Tripathi, and Kim Joo-ryoung. Another has to do with the writing, which serves partially as a commentary on class divisions and unfettered capitalism. But a big part of the appeal has to do with the concept itself, as it's predicated on the kind of kids play that would be familiar to most viewers.In a wide-ranging interview with EW in which he discusses Squid Game's popularity and the potential for season 2, Lee also reveals which of the series' games were most difficult to film. The actor singles out two competitions, in particular, first mentioning the Honeycomb game. He explained: "I had to express with very minimal movement." Still, he noted it was that final confrontation between Gi-hun and Sang-woo (Park) that was the most challenging. Lee's quote is below. "Because Gi-hun is very hurt because of all these games. And he knows he has to admit the fact that he deceived others in order to survive himself, so he's very disappointed in himself and in Sang-woo [Park Hae-soo], his close friend, because he betrayed him. "These two characters are fighting against each other with their life on the line when they're childhood friends, so the scene itself is very heartbreaking. It was very emotionally tough. "Secondly, I remember that when we were filming that scene when the two were fighting, it was in winter, so the weather was very cold. In Korea the winter is very freezing cold. I remember filming that scene for about four days in the rain with the sprinkler, so it was very emotionally and physically tough."  |
| Doctor Tells Court –The Minor Was Defiled By Blunt Penetration Posted: 22 Oct 2021 09:00 AM PDT  A medical doctor, Aniekan Makanjuola on Thursday, October 21, narrated her findings before an Ikeja Special Offences Court during Nollywood actor, James Olanrewaju, fondly called Baba Ijesha's sexual assault case against a minor.Makanjuola, a trained forensic medical examiner, said Baba Ijesha indeed defiled the minor and it was a blunt penetration.The Head of Clinical Services at Women at Risk International Foundation (WARIF) said: "Our findings were that there was a blunt penetration of the vagina which was consistent with the client's history." She continued: "We took her to the consulting room and she gave a history of the events from seven years ago. She did not mention these incidents to her mother but it began to affect her mood and academic performance. "She disclosed what happened to her mother's friend on April 16 who in turn informed her mother. We decided to do an examination. "There was a normal external genitalia, we observed a healed laceration on the labia minora at the 3'0Clock position; we also observed a notch at the 6'0 clock position. "Based on these findings, my lord, the client was sent to the laboratory for more tests, they were HIV 1 and 2, Hepatitis A, B, Syphilis and pregnancy and they all came out negative. "She was sent for psychological assessment and a report was made, authenticated and sent to the SCID." Makanjuola added: "The healed lacerations connotes that the lacerations found in the genitalia were not something that was recent my lord." Comedienne, Damilola Adekoya, better known as Princess, the foster mother of the minor, was present in court to observe the proceedings.  |
