Nigerian actor Ugezu Jideofor has commented on singer Tiwa Savage's recent randy tape, which leaked online a few days ago.

The actor said Tiwa Savage made a mistake that was triggered from an unknown place to the public. He, however, stipulated that the mistake is subject to strong condemnation, not her personality.

Ugezu Jideofor, profoundly called Ugezu J. Ugezu, AKA Mr. Surplus, slammed critics of the 'Somebody's Son' crooner, saying they will soon realize they have watered her garden. "Those who feel they have brought you down will ultimately realise, disappointingly, that they have watered your garden."

Jideofor, wrote, "From the metaphysical garden where I am the priest, I rise to minister to you directly.

"From the deepest part of my heart, I say, stay strong. What you made was a mistake, possibly triggered from dimensions completely unknown to us.

"We live in a world where people who have never judged themselves, are judging others, from positions of ignorance. Always, their judgments are flawed on the altar of objectivism.

"People who, in their secret places, do worse than the travesty that got circulated of you, are now claiming saints. I urge you again, stay strong and realize there are too many saints online.

"We vehemently attack your mistake. We cannot attack your personality for we all are fallible mortals, and errors can set in. Specifically, we believe that dry bones will rise again.

"Those who feel they have brought you down will ultimately realise, disappointingly, that they have watered your garden."

Why you should be honest in your relationship

Posted: 24 Oct 2021 07:00 AM PDT

Do you love your partner more than your Job?

You will most likely say yes but Don't be in a hurry to answer. Take a moment to really think about it and ask your partner the same question.

One very common mistake we make before getting married is not knowing where we actually stand in our partner's life. We think that since we're in love, they come first in our lives and we come first in theirs.

This kind of assumption would get you into trouble. We've heard about couples who got married and began to complain about their partner's lack of attention towards them.

"He's always busy with office work" "She doesn't care about me and the kids." These are common statements many married people make. A lot of men say things like "my work comes before my wife" or "my job is my first wife."

This is why you can't leave room for assumptions, you have to be certain of your place in your partner's life. Take time to observe their actions.

Be honest too. If your work comes before your partner, let them know. Tell her before you marry her (and I use her because men are usually the culprits). Let her understand that if there's an emergency at the office and there's an emergency at home, you would attend to the office first before you attend to her. State everything out clearly, and if she's OK with it, that's great, good luck to both of you, if she's not, then you both have a decision to make.

It's very important that you sit down and talk with your partner before marriage. Determine what's important to both of you as a couple, determine your place in each other's lives, know where you stand, and please do not lie or try to sweet-talk your partner.

Be honest, it would help you avoid strain and unwanted surprises in your relationship. It is totally unfair to tell your partner they mean the world to you only to get married and put your job before them. It's wrong, you're only facilitating the ruin of your marriage. Don't Do That!

Here are 10 ways to build a strong inner foundation

Posted: 24 Oct 2021 06:00 AM PDT

"Sometimes you learn, grow and give far more when your back's against the wall." This quote pretty much sums up the fact that it is only at our lowest that we rise from the ashes, just like a phoenix. Dramatic? Possibly yes, but it's a harsh reality we cannot turn a blind eye to.

None of us are spared of troubles — and there are no exceptions to this rule! But how we cope with uncertainties and evolve in our journeys makes us who we are. So, when tough times glare at us or catch us off guard, it's our inner foundation that helps us navigate through and possibly, emerge victorious.

But how do we face these challenges that test us and sometimes bring us down on our knees? The answer is: building a strong inner foundation. If you're wondering how you can create that bulletproof inner self, stick with me till the end. We'll discuss ten proven ways that you can employ to structure your inner core and become more resilient in the face of adversities:

1.Have A Positive Mental Attitude

The first step to building a strong inner foundation is to have an optimistic state of mind. Difficulties and challenges in life are a given — you don't have enough room to bargain or categorically ignore them. But having a positive mental makeup can be immensely beneficial in dealing with sudden or unexpected hiccups. So, drop the overthinking, tame your negative instincts and look at the bright side of each situation that confronts you.

2.Inculcate Firm Beliefs That Guide Your Actions

The root cause of most of our miseries is the lack of grounding principles and ethics that nudge us to choose the right path. Things will eventually fall in place when you set the right intention or motive, if not immediately. Of course, your sense of individuality dictates you to think for yourself, but it is also fundamental that you do not harbor evil intentions to cause harm to others. If fear and anger influence your conduct instead of love and compassion, you should rather consider restructuring your beliefs to one that attracts more peace and joy around you.

3.Follow A Routine

Abrupt changes can cause a massive shake-up that you never saw coming. But following a routine and organizing your life can help you set your priorities straight and provide a solid plan for fighting emergencies. What you do each day becomes part of your character. So, discard the habit of procrastination and make the best use of your time. Of course, occasional mishaps or unfortunate events could topple your best-laid plans, but an organized mind is better equipped to handle them.

4.Build A Strong Network Of Friends

It's a small world — we are all connected. Humans are social beings who cannot live a life of solitude. So, find your confidantes — those who understand you and are dependable during your darkest hours. They can help you build a strong inner foundation. Well-meaning friends and family are a blessing, and you'd be lucky to have them!

Studies show that isolation and loss of support from loved ones can trigger mental issues like stress, anxiety, or an emotional breakdown. We don't live on an island; even if we did, we'd probably perish. So, build a network of reliable friends and acquaintances, a "circle of positivity" that inspires you, supports your goals, and is there for you.

5.Be Flexible With Your Expectations

When we hold stubbornly to our beliefs, as if there is no room for making shifts or adjustments, it could mold you into a selfish personality. A healthy ego can drive you to progress and achieve heights, while a bad one can make you proud (which spills over your relationships, at work and home). So, have flexible expectations in place. This will set the pace for developing a resilient mind that can cope with adversities with tact and diplomacy. It's a crucial life skill to learn, undoubtedly!

6.Adapt And Move On

We've always adapted ourselves to changes around us, which is a major part of our evolutionary process. It supports our existence on this planet. Unless you buckle up and flow with life, you'll attract unwanted stresses that'll threaten to break you down. Sounds cliché, but it's true! Be open to possibilities and even that sudden stroke of bad luck. Accept and blend into circumstances (no matter how frustrating). It'll make you internally powerful and you'll evolve into a better human, guaranteed!

7.Meditate

Research shows that meditation can help you develop inner calm and poise even amid a busy schedule. The whole idea of meditating is to center your thoughts and cut off from the distracting ones, those that remind you of life predicaments. Sit in a comfortable position, preferably in a secluded space dedicated for meditation practices. Close your eyes and perform deep breathwork, at least for ten minutes every day. You'll notice remarkable changes in your productivity and overall wellbeing.

8.Accept Your Feelings

We often neglect our emotions and even silence them. As humans, we feel our emotions every day — the good and the bad. Unless you accept both, you'll find yourself trapped and confined in a rabbit hole. Why? That's because our feelings play a huge role in molding our conduct, and if we suppress them, the possibility of facing emotional turmoil looms large. Your emotions (temporary or permanent) drive you — so make an effort to understand what they say and rewire your thoughts and actions accordingly.

9.Indulge In Constructive Activities

Problem-solving and critical thinking are essential life skills that you should be exposed to early on in life. You could indulge in a hobby like dancing, painting, sewing, rock climbing, play a sport, or sing — whatever floats your boat! Forever dwelling on your weaknesses and devaluing your strengths will cripple you for life. Find ways to vent your frustrations to deflate the angry energy within, you'll discover little pockets of joy each day.

10.Have A Good Night's Sleep

We often depreciate the importance of restful sleep. But many studies have shown that it is critical for our physical health and our mental health. Sleep deprivation can cause chronic depression, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), or bipolar disorder. As sleep impacts our memory, it plays a significant role in triggering our creative processes, which in turn help us cope with complex tasks and adversities. As sleep is an indispensable component of building a solid inner foundation, you should make efforts to ensure peaceful sleep after you wind up your day. It'll help you wake up refreshed and recharged, ready to take on the world with great vigor!

Building a strong inner core is not an overnight process. It is a lifelong journey that requires practice and consistent efforts. So, don't lose hope if you don't see positive results right away. One day at a time - ingrain this mantra in your mind, and you'll persevere.

Reasons why grooms cry at wedding ceremonies

Posted: 24 Oct 2021 05:30 AM PDT

It appears that grooms are becoming increasingly emotional on their big days.

While food, drinks, gorgeous attires and all those good stuff are the commonest things one would normally see at a wedding ceremony, it is also quite common to see few tears here and there.

These tears could be shed by anyone, ranging from any of the couple to anyone of their parents.

It'd appear that grooms are becoming increasingly emotional on their big days as more clips and photos of teary grooms keep trickling onto social media platforms and online spaces.

The most recent case being gospel musician, Joe Praiz, Joanna just recently.

The groom had few tears while reading his vows and had to bring out an hanky to wipe off his face before leaning in for his first kiss.

While we're just so glad that salty tears didn't ruin the sweetness of couple's first kiss, we also have to wonder, why could this groom have been crying?

Why did Joe Praiz and all these other grooms shed tears at their individual ceremonies?

It could be one of the four reasons below:

1. An interesting love story
There are grooms whose wedding stories do not take the normal route most others take.

For grooms who had to endure initial rejection from the bride's parents, or those who had to fight hard and do a lot to get their own parents' clearance to marry the girl of their dreams, watching that same woman walk slowly down the aisle towards them could result in a rush of emotions so intense that tears just start rolling down their cheeks uncontrollably.

2. Mummy's boys
One of the possible reasons for grooms' tears could be because of the closeness with their mothers.

Whether it's just the natural connection a son has with his mum or the type that is often talked about in derisory terms, grooms who share any form of deep connection with their mothers could find it difficult holding back the tears, especially if they see mummy dabbing off those bitter-sweet tears that come when mothers realise their 'little bird' is leaving her nest.

3. Overcome by emotions
They say there's something really moving about watching the woman of your dreams walk down the aisle as the cherubic sound of hymns rent the air in a chapel.

Or when you have to really take wedding vows and the priest declares you and her husband and wife… something magical seems to happen in those moments when it finally dawns of grooms that finally… their lives just got wound with someone else's before God and man.

They say the feeling is an overwhelming one, and that's one more reason why grooms cry at weddings.

4. Just dramatic
Though unlikely, one can't totally disregard the possibility that one or two of those crying grooms could possibly have done so out of being unnecessarily extra dramatic at the ceremony.

Don't take anything away from dramatic people.

10 countries where prostitution is legal

Posted: 24 Oct 2021 05:00 AM PDT

Some countries have regulated prostitution, providing sex workers with health and social benefits.

Prostitution is one of the oldest jobs in the world and has for quite a long time now, been regarded as a hateful and fallen choice of work.

But one thing is certain prostitution exists and will continue to exist despite bans and their legal status.

Some countries choose to outright ban the practice, while other countries have tried regulating it, providing sex workers with health and social benefits.

Here are some of the countries where prostitution is legal.

1. Finland
Prostitution is legal in Finland, but selling and purchasing sex in public is illegal, as well as purchasing or pimping a trafficked victim.

Street work is banned but clients are all accessible through the Internet and personal ads. In addition to decreasing street-workers, cyberspace has also contributed to a growing number of foreign sex workers operating in Finland through ads and massage parlours.

2. Costa Rica
Prostitution is completely legal in Costa Rica. In fact, it's a common profession. The problems are with the activities surrounding prostitution. Pimping is illegal, prostitution rings are illegal, and there is also a huge problem with child prostitution and human trafficking.

Costa Rica is, unfortunately, a common transit and destination point for women and children who are being trafficked for sexual exploitation purposes.

3. New Zealand
Prostitution has been legal in New Zealand since 2003. There are even licensed brothels operating under public health and employment laws, which means the workers get social benefits just like other employees.

4. Austria
Prostitution is completely legal in Austria. Prostitutes are required to register, undergo periodic health examinations, be 19 years old or older and pay taxes.

5. Bangladesh
Except for male prostitution, everything else is legal.

Bangladesh has a severe minor trafficking problem, which is perpetuated by corruption. Pimping and owning a brothel is also legal.

6. Denmark
In Denmark, prostitution was decriminalized in 1999, partly because authorities wanted to keep watch over the industry.

Apparently, they felt it would be easier if it were happening out in the open as it's always easier to police a legal trade than an illegal one.

Third-party activities such as coercion, procuring, trafficking, and the solicitation of minors, however, remain illegal.

7. Canada
Canada has no law against the exchange of sex for money; it's pimping or owning a brothel that is the problem. It is legal to be a sex worker, but illegal to purchase sexual services.

It's also illegal to publicly market your wares as a prostitute.

8. Germany
There are an estimated 400,000 prostitutes working in Germany. Prostitution brings in about six billion Euros each year with a clientele of an estimated 1.2 million.

The government, of course, withholds a portion of these revenues to contribute to social benefits and sex workers have pensions, health insurance, a regular 40-hour-workweek, and the option to join sex worker unions. Despite the nationwide laws, each city has the right to ban prostitution in their area.

9. Greece
In Greece as long as you're over the age of 21, registered and a medical card carrier whose card is updated every two weeks, you can do pretty much anything that doesn't involve sex trafficking.

Brothels are legal and pimping is legal.

10. Colombia
It is legal to work in the sex industry in Colombia, though pimping isn't.

Prostitution is especially widespread in cities such as Cartagena and Barranquilla.

Here are 5 reasons why you should eat cucumber at night

Posted: 24 Oct 2021 04:30 AM PDT

Cucumbers are one of nature's miracle fruits.

Cucumber has a way of making the simplest things better. The superfood has some skincare benefits including vitamin C and caffeic acid, which both fights to reduce inflamed or irritated skin, and hydration thanks to its high water content.

Unfortunately, we have only limited the benefits of the food to its benefit to the skin only, but eating cucumbers help not only the skin but the entire body system.

Aside from the normal breakfast or salad which we usually add the superfood, eating it in the night can be extremely beneficial.

In this article, we have put together some amazing benefits cucumber does to the body when taken at night.

Keep your digestion going strong
Basically, all the calories in cucumbers (and yes, there's not that many) come from fibre. Fibre helps improve gut health and bowel movement regularity and is beneficial in managing certain conditions like diabetes and high cholesterol, and will even fill you up to prevent you from overeating.

Weight loss
Cucumbers are low in calories and also contain fibre, thereby helping in maintaining a healthy weight.

Consumption of cucumbers helps you to maintain a healthy weight due to its rich in fibre. You can enjoy cucumbers by adding it to your everyday meal such as salad or in vegetable juices.

Keep you hydrated
Cucumbers are 96% water, and the water content is more nutritious than regular water. If you are feeling dehydrated, munch on some cucumbers. They will also help you flush out toxins, so you can slice some up before bed to avoid a hangover.

Combat bad breath
One common cause of bad breath is odour produced when bacteria attack trapped food particles. The fluid in cucumbers, as well as the saliva production triggered by chewing, helps to cleanse the mouth and wash away these smelly culprits.

Disease protection
Cucumbers contain an excellent deal of antioxidants, those square measure molecules which will stop oxidative damage in the body. They bond with and neutralize odd electrons referred to as free radicals to guard you against problems like chronic health problem and premature ageing. In fact, atom injury encompasses a robust association with heart and internal organ issues, cancer, and disease.

Tribe that drinks semen to turn boys into men

Posted: 24 Oct 2021 04:00 AM PDT

This ritual, which is a symbol of a young boy's rite of passage to manhood, starts when a boy is between the ages of 6 to 10 and comprises of 6 stages.

The Sambia Tribe in Papua New Guinea have tradition that has fascinated (and confused) many. They are the tribe that drinks semen to turn boys into men and we bring you everything you need to know about them.

This ritual, which is a symbol of a young boy's rite of passage to manhood, starts when a boy is between the ages of 6 to 10 and comprises of 6 stages.

Imperative to the processes and teaching of the initial ceremony is the notion that women can be dangerous to men.

To become a man, and in essence a "warrior," these young men are taught how to detach themselves from their mothers and the women around them as a means of showing that they can live without them and prove their masculinity.

The six stage process of affirming one's manhood can take anywhere from 10 to 15 years until these young men father a child. Much of the initiation and training is characterised by what some have deemed to be highly erotic and sexual.

In the first stages, a sharp stick of cane is inserted deeply into the young boy's nostrils until he bleeds profusely. The young boys are also introduced to older warriors who are told that bachelors are going to "copulate" with them to make them grow.

Throughout much of the 6 stages, the act of having the stick of cane inserted into the nostrils and the performance of 'fellatio' are integral to the process of becoming a man. While the former practice is often derided by many as 'inhumane' and the latter is often referred to as 'homosexual' behaviour, the Sambia's understanding and purpose behind these two processes differs from our conventional understanding.

While many of us might view the practice of inserting the cane stick into the nostrils as being 'inhumane', because of the obvious infliction of pain and injury to the body, for the Sambia it is a symbol of strength and his ability to sustain pain, which is a needed requirement of a warrior.

Additionally, the act of performing fellatio and the act of ingesting semen is seen as an integral part of manhood because boys are unable to mature into men unless they ingest semen and they adhere to the notion that all men have, 'eaten the penis'.

According to Sambia belief, the semen of a man possesses the 'masculine spirit', which young boys will be able to attain through his ingestion of semen.

Cultural differences play a huge part in how we react to such practices. What we may view as homosexuality may simply be a right of passage in another culture. The journey to 'manhood' has no set route but the end goal is always the same; to protect and provide.

Gynaecologist –Abusive use of antibiotic causes offensive vaginal odour

Posted: 24 Oct 2021 03:30 AM PDT

A gyneacologist, Dr Prosper Igboeli, has advised women to shun the abuse of antibiotic drugs for their own health benefit.

Igboeli gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja

Igboeli, Managing Director of M And M Hospital, Fertility and IVF Centre, said that such practices contribute to major causes of offensive vaginal odour.

The medical expert said that women, who stopped the use of oral contraceptive, also experience increased vaginal discharge.

According to him, increased vaginal discharge has been recorded against women who stopped the use of the oral contraceptive.

"They have undergone some course of antibiotics and contracted venereal diseases following unprotected and unsafe sexual practices," he said.

Igboeli explained that some women used to have an overgrowth of yeast after they finish antibiotic treatment which is called yeast infection.

He disclosed that "such actions happens because the antibiotic kills the lactobacillus that stabilises the environment of the vagina.

"It is actually the abuse that causes some of this thing, normal vaginal discharge is usually white while yellow or green discharge means infectious process.

"This is usually associated with an offensive or unpleasant odour."

He said though it was a natural behavior to have a small amount of vaginal discharge in any mature woman.

"The vaginal wall itself secretes some discharge, which such discharge contains glycogen (sugars) which are broken down to lactic acid.

"Poor hygiene of the vagina can also result in vaginal odor,'' Igboeli said.

He said the most notorious virus are yeast infections (moniliasis) and trichomonas vaginalis, a flagyllate and advised women for high personal hygiene.

The doctor said that other infections like herpes progenitalis can cause severe abnormalities even on the unborn babies apart from causing severe lesions and discomfort to the mother.

Igboeli said that vaginal discharge with offensive odor can cause a husband not to engage in sexual activities with the wife, which may trigger marital crisis.

He urged women to make themselves presentable through cleanliness and avoidance of infections through safe sexual practices with use of condoms to prevent infections.

According to him, it has been observed that many women use different creams to enhance sexual experience.

Nollywood Actress, Georgina Onuoha reacts as Tiwa Savage reportedly loses four major endorsements over leaked tape

Posted: 24 Oct 2021 02:00 AM PDT

Nollywood actress, Georgina Onuoha has reacted to reports of Tiwa Savage allegedly losing four endorsements over her leaked tape.

In a lengthy post on Instagram, Georgina wrote;

"Sad if this is true. Personally as Georgina, I pray Tiwa pulls through this. She is immensely talented and gifted.

She has the world stage on her laps.
She did not commit a crime, she is the victim but damn my colleagues did her a disservice with their "A Queen I stand" rhetoric.

We all should learn to weigh issues critically before our support becomes an indictment of the person we are trying to support.

She took the initial step of going public about her being blackmailed. Which was proactive and smart of her. My ill-informed colleagues did her a disservice.

The narrative should have been, "Say No to Blackmailers who breached her privacy. Instead, their ignorance came off as celebratory of her mistakes.
They did Tiwa bad. I'm still praying for her to get us a grammy soon. She will rise from this.

According to PR EXPERT Lauretta, Sometimes not all publicity is good publicity. Kim Kardashian went on an apology tour on every TV and significant talk show in America and issued public apologies to save her brand 15 years ago.

Tiwa is no longer a Nigerian brand; she is a global brand. I hope she pulls through this, learns her lessons, apologizes for this mistake.

If I were on her PR team, I would suggest a public apology, most of you will say it's not needed, as her bla bla bla did not leak the tape. Still, if you understand PR, you will appreciate that an apology is necessary to her family-oriented fans, she apologies for letting such happen to even get to the media whilst also playing the victim because she is still the victim and then move on.

Do you know that with all the popularity Kim K has that some brands will never use her as their ambassador?

You might say she doesn't need it but trust me her team wishes those brands will contact her.

Yes, we all make mistakes but for every action there are some consequences. (My favorite line to my children)

I am paying for some mistakes I made in the past (not se
