The Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Shine Ya Eye has come and gone with plenty of drama and talking points, but the finale witnessed yet another side attraction.

The youthful parents of Angel, Baron, and Titi were present at the finale and fans can't stop talking about them.

The Angel parents look beautiful together and young, they appeared like some of the housemates contesting for Biggie's N90 million.

Angel has always talked about her dad's sugar-coated mouth to her fellow housemates and the couple confirmed it with Titi maintaining that the sweet talks can no longer work for her.

Titi said:

"The sweet mouth is not working for me anymore, your daughter literarily cast you to the whole world."

And Baron insisted that the sweet mouth has always been there.

Popular Nigerian comedian and IG skit maker, Cute Abiola has become a proud homeowner after he recently acquired a new mansion.

The well-known Skit-maker took to his official Instagram page earlier today, to disclose the good news to his followers.


You may recall that the 25-year-old Comedian had earlier tied the knot with his hearthrob months ago, in yet another achievement at a very young age.

Shina Peller Bags Doctorate Degree At The American Heritage Southern California University In Dubai

Nigerian politician and nightclub owner Shina Peller has been presented an honourary award of Doctorate degree in Business Administration by the American Heritage Southern California University in Dubai.

The entrepreneur and industrialist during his remark noted that Nigeria is blessed with resources, however, these resources are not properly tapped into.

He added that the country needs to explore the potential of the Nigerians people with a population of about 240 million and the youth occupying about 75% of it.

Shina Peller stressed on the importance of peace in Nigeria and Africa to progress. "There cannot be lasting socio-economic progress in Africa without peace, and there cannot be peace without the youth as the promoter, driver and sustainer of peace," he said.

In his words;

"During the Africa-Dubai Investment Business Summit held at Habtoor Palace, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, I was decorated with an honorary award of Doctorate degree in Business Administration by the American Heritage Southern California University."


"Whilst making my remarks at the summit, I expressed my profound gratitude to the organizers of the event and the school for finding me worthy of the honour. Like I always say, I consider honorary award like this as a challenge for me to double up in my benevolent acts and humanitarian gesture not just in Nigeria but in the entire Africa space."

"I also used the opportunity to share a few of my most pressing thoughts on investment in Africa and Nigeria specifically. We cannot have a discussion about Africa's global economic future without mentioning Nigeria. Nigeria is naturally endowed with vast natural resources promising potential national success, but unfortunately this has not always translated. Perhaps it is because regardless of the resources, people and vision will always be the driver of certain and lasting change."

It was a battle of the titans at legendary actress, Mercy Johnson's home as she battled her colleague and renowned movie producer, Toyin Abraham to a mini food challenge.

Toyin Abraham, Mercy Johnson-Okojie, and Purity Okoijie (Mercy Johnson's first child) went into battle mode for who would emerge highest turkey winner, but along the line, Mercy Johnson gave up.

"When @toyin_abraham dared me with food oooo" Mercy Johnson wrote as she shared a video of both of them getting ready to battle.

However, minutes into the battle, Mercy Johnson cried out, "I give up. you win, you win" she screamed as she declared Toyin Abraham winner.

In other news, Toyin Abraham penned down an appreciation message to her husband Kolawole Ajeyemi as she recounts how she rode on a horse to the venue of her movie premiere 'The Ghost and the Tout Too'.

Sharing a video of the event on her Instagram page, Toyin Abraham said she was scared of falling from the horse and any form of the revolt of the animal, adding that if anything terrible had happened that day, it would have been epic.

However, the presence of Kolawole Ajeyemi by her side made all the difference as he was comforting her by holding her hand.

Toyin Abraham noted that at some point when she was scared of falling and shaking on the horse, Kolawole Ajeyemi told her not to be worried, and she would calm down till she got to the red carpet.

Popular brand influencer, Mercy Eke is under fire over claims of lying on BBNaija reality show after revealing that she had three cars, and a house before participation.

This is coming after the ex-housemate in a tweet stated that she had driven three cars of her own and owned a house before fame.


This claim triggered fans to recollect Mercy's claim on the show about being from a poor home, sold fuel, and roasted corn.

Following the pronouncement of BBNaija housemate, Whitemoney as winner of the shine ya eye edition, the votes of the finalists have been released.

The voting scale shows Whitemoney topping the list with a whooping 47% while the first runner up, Liquorose secured 22%.

After the 10th week on the show, and contesting shoulder to shoulder with 20-plus other housemates, Hazel Oyeye Onou 'WhiteMoney' walked out of the show with the whooping sum of ninety million naira.

Emmanuel’s Final Words About Liquorose, Biggie

As viewers await the winner of BBNaija Season 6 tonight, one of the finalists, Emmanuel, has given his thoughts on his time in the house.

Emmanuel stated during his final diary session in the house that he came to the house to win the big prize for his family and wants to do so.


Outside the house, he expressed optimism about his relationship with Liquorose, admitting that she is an amazing person.

"My being here is not for me but for my family I'm looking forward to everything good even if I don't win.

"During my stay, I met an amazing, special person in Liquorose. Looking forward to seeing what the outside has for the both of us."

When asked for his final words, Emmanuel thanked Biggie for moral support and words of encouragement all through his time in the house.

"I feel like the one person that has really understood me in this house is Biggie, you just have the right words to say at the right time and encourage me.

"You know when to come through for me, you motivated me as a young person and made me see things differently.

"I hope I can get this moral support outside the house, but I'm grateful for you being there for ten weeks," Emmanuel said.

BBNaija: Whitemoney–Why I Told Michael To Forgive Me At Saturday Night Party

Whitemoney, a Big Brother Naija season 6 finalist, said on Sunday morning that he sought Michael for forgiveness during the Saturday night celebration.

The ousted housemates, as well as the six finalists, attended the 'Champions Party' on Saturday night.

After the party, Whitemoney informed Pere that he had requested Michael to forgive him because of the situationship with Jackie B.

According to him, although he didn't do anything wrong to Michael, he just needed to apologize so he doesn't beat him outside the house.

Whitemoney said: "I told Michael to forgive me during the party. I didn't do anything wrong but just had to apologize so he'll not beat me outside the house because of Jackie B.

BBNaija’s Queen –“Maria doesn’t think before she talks”

Ex-housemate, Queen Atang has opined that her colleague, Maria doesn't think or reason properly before she voices out certain things.

The Akwa Ibom born said this during a chat she had with The Cool House where she insisted that Maria's problem with people comes as a result of her not thinking before speaking.

Recall that Queen and Maria got into a fight during the former's first week in the house. According to Queen, she wouldn't have had the verbal altercations she had with Maria if she was introduced into the house earlier, as she got to understand her personality later.

"Maria doesn't think before she talks. I got to understand her personality later. I felt if I had gotten into the house earlier, I might have not had the altercation I had with her."

On her relationship with Whitemoney, the 26-year-old said;

Season 5 ex-housemate, Kiddwaya Terseer drops hint for new housemates coming out of the BBNaija's house on how to make the right choice when choosing brands to work with.

This is coming barely hours after the conclusion of season 6 of the reality show that saw Whitemoney as the winner of this year's edition.


According to Kiddwaya in a Twitter post, it takes being ruthless to determine the brands to work with while considering one's worth.

Music producer, Samklef recounts childhood experience – “My uncle and his wife used to give me spoilt soup to eat”

Popular music producer and talent manager, Samklef has narrated the awful experience he had while living with his uncle as a child.

In a series of tweets sighted on his official Twitter handle, the music boss recalled how his uncle and wife would pour some oil into a spoilt soup and serve him to eat.

He also disclosed how he was made to trek from their home which was in Ogun to his school at Lagos from Monday to Friday without receiving any money from them. He noted that many don't really know what they (celebrities) went through as kids.


He wrote:

"I remember when my uncle and his wife used to give me spoilt soup she will put red oil and give me to eat. Will also trek to school @ the age of 11 from enilolobo Taju Bello ogun state to iju station lagos fagba grammer school Monday to Friday without money…."

This is coming following the conclusion of the show that witnessed Whitemoney walk out with the grand prize of N90M.

Taking to Instagram to react after the show's wrap-up, Blessing Okoro affirmed that the show looks too scripted, boring, and predictable from the start.

"Even the wining was so boring … No excitement very predictable be like script No suspense at all," she wrote in a post which she took down later over heavy backlash.

Former BBNaija housemate and finalist, Vee has disclosed how she was recently poisoned, here in Nigeria.

The BBN finalist who relocated to Nigeria after her stay in the lockdown house, made this known in her recent post on Instagram.

According to Vee, she's always taking vitamins and supplements to avoid falling ill since she relocated to Nigeria.

Speaking on the series of illnesses she has encountered, Vee opened up on how she suffered food poisoning and how her health has been deteriorating since her stay in the country.

Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Angel Smith has disclosed that she started sm0king and drinking at age 17.

Angel disclosed this to her fellow housemates in the garden, while narrating how she and her friends visited Fela's shrine to sm0ke and drink.

The 21-year-old lady opened up that her friends made her to start drinking, and the news of her boyfriend's death also affected her.


According to her, the day they visited the shrine, one of her female friends was so drunk that she defecated on herself.

Angel said she drank herself into the hospital emergency room when her ex-boyfriend died.

Reacting, Liquorose also shared her personal experience as she revealed that she used to buy and hide alcoholic drinks when she was very young.

Major Talking Points From The Bbnaija Shine Ya Eyes Last Saturday Night Party

Described as the 'Champions Party' Big Brother played host all 24 housemates of the 'Shine Ya Eye' season to the last Saturday Night Party.

As usual, all the evicted housemates including Kayvee who left the game over health grounds turned up looking like a million bucks.

To get their groove on, the music was supplied by DJ Demola and DJ Embassy.

This season has seen some of Nigeria's best and not so popular ace the Saturday Night Party. The Champions Party wasn't any different as DJ Embassy and DJ Demola came prepared.
 
The housemates came to slay

For the last Saturday Night Party of the season, the 24 housemates all looked stunning in their various outfits. From Yousef looking like an Arabian prince to Maria and Nini twinning in beautiful sequence dresses, it was obvious that the housemates got the memo.

Still, on the outfits and twinning, Yerins and Kayvee both looked dashing in suits and turtle neck shirts. Let's not forget the striking white dress Saskay wore for the evening.
