Fans react as Whitemoney ignores Queen, picks Niyi instead for two-person trip to Dubai – “Queen in the mud”

BBNaija Season 6 winner, Whitemoney has caused reactions online after he revealed he'll be taking Niyi on his sponsored trip to Dubai.

The 29-year-old reality star who emerged winner of the 'Shine Ya Eye' season of the show, went home with the N90M grand prize which included; a ₦30 million cash prize, cash in an Abeg digital wallet, bitcoins courtesy of Patricia, a two-bedroom apartment courtesy of RevolutionPlus Property, a top-of-the-line SUV from Innoson Motors, a trip for two to Dubai, a weekend getaway to Seychelles packaged by Travelbeta, among other rewards.


While disclosing why he chose Niyi to accompany him to Dubai, Whitemoney said that the romance between him and Niyi is made in heaven.
Viewers of the show who had thought Whitemoney would choose Queen after their closeness in the Big Brother house, have taken to social media to react…

The identity of the Instagram and Twitter handler of the ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Pere has finally been revealed.

Just as we saw the man behind Whitemoney's success yesterday, the handler of Pere decided to follow suit, as the brain behind all the media works we saw for about 3 months was unveiled.


Sharing a photo of the lad, the post reads:

Celebrity designer, Yomi Casual has slammed online business owners and celebrities following the outage experienced on Monday, 4th October from the trio of WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram.

The tailor in the post demanded maximum respect from these 21st-century celebrities and business owners as he urged them to honour those who made it to the top without the aid of social media.

Liquorose Reacts To GoFundMe Campaign Set Up In Her Name

Runner-up in the 2021 Big Brother Naija show, Liquorose, has distanced herself from a GoFund being organised allegedly for her.

The fund is projected to be a consolatory buck for her, since she lost the N90m prize to the winner, Whitemoney.

But she noted on Monday that she was not part of the fundraising.

Her team thus urged her fans to disregard it.

They noted in a statement: "Kindly ignore the GoFundMe link, it's not from the team. Any necessary information will be posted officially at the appropriate time. For now, we are celebrating Queen LIQUOROSE. She deserves so many roses and accolades. #CongratulationsLiquorose."

BBNaija is a winner-takes-all project, although each of the housemates also often gain exposure and the experience they later leverage upon.

Whitemoney walked home with the grand prize of N90m after winning 47 percent of the total votes.

Known for her competitive spirit, Liquorose had won several tasks and challenges during her 10 weeks in the show, including the Darling task which earned her N4.5m on Sunday

Hours after emerging as winner of BBNaija season 6, Whitemoney has been accused of impregnating a woman.

A Nigerian lady has claimed that the reality star slept with her before leaving for the show and got her pregnant.

The lady who gave herself the title 'Whitemoney's wife' on Instagram, claimed that Whitemoney impregnated her before leaving for the show.

She further alleged that Whitemoney asked her not to terminate the pregnancy but wait for his return.


In the video, she focused the camera on her bust region to reveal what seemed like a baby bump, alleging that Whitemoney is the father of the baby she's carrying.

She begged Whitemoney not to abandon her now that he has gotten famous as the winner of BBNaija.

BBNaija star and winner Hazel Onyeze Onou popularly known as Whitemoney has shocked most of his fans by choosing another housemate to go on his Dubai trip with him.

One of the packages won by the season six Big Brother Naija housemate Whitemoney is a trip to Dubai. Whitemoney also won a Dubai trip for two and he was given an opportunity to select a housemate as a partner.

Naija Singer, Joeboy Issues Warning To Fans

Joseph Akinfenwa-Docus, better known as Joeboy, a renowned Nigerian artist, has advised Nigerians against putting hazardous substances on their bodies.

Since its debut on September 24th, the 24-year-old singer's new song "Alcohol" has been trending on Tiktok and other social media networks.

This sparked a viral challenge in which fans were spotted pouring hazardous substances like bleach on their bodies, with some even going so far as to drink Dettol.

Joeboy, who appeared unhappy with the videos, asked his fans to reject the challenge.

He, on the other hand, praised them for their continuous support for his music.

On his Twitter page, he wrote: "I appreciate the love alcohol is getting but stop pouring stuff on your bodies.

"You're welcome to keep learning the lyrics by the way."

Mr. Eazi of the record label "emPawa Africa" discovered Joeboy in 2017.

In 2020, Joeboy won the Headies award for song of the year and Best Pop Single.

Big Brother Shine Ya Eyes Stars, Angel And Sammie were involved in an argument during the prize presentation ceremony yesterday, over an incident that happened in the house.

Sammie accused Angel of stealing some of Tega's stuffs in the house, including her 'Famous missing blanket'.

Reacting to his accusations, Angel claimed she didn't steal her stuffs. According to her, she found her missing items after Tega left the house and kept it as her property.

Tega, who was the subject of the discussion, was with them while they were exchanging words over her but the mother of one didn't utter a word throughout their fallout.

We recall that WhiteMoney received his cheque, a car and a house key from the organizers of the show.

During the Big Brother Naija award presentation ceremony, Ebuka allowed some of the organizers and top sponsors to address the audience. They revealed a lot of things about the just concluded Big Brother Naija season 6 show.

The Big Brother Naija season 6 winner, WhiteMoney also answered few questions thrown at him.

1) The Managing Director of Multichoice, John Ugbe revealed that the production of this year's Big Brother Naija cost the company a whopping N4.3 billion.

2) Over 1000 crew members were employed to make the Big Brother Naija season 6 show a success. And in total, Big Brother organizers have employed over 12000 people to work behind the show.

3) He added that the Big Brother Naija shine ya eye housemates won over N63 million in tasks.

Brymo revealed that some years ago, he was attacked by some boys on behalf of Tuface Idibia who seemingly accused him of sleeping with his wife.

This is coming after the duo were spotted together late in the night before the show's finale; after which both of them sat to have a discussion where Angel asked Emmanuel not to play with her and to repeat what he had told her earlier.

Following their exit from the house the following night, Angel and Emmanuel unfollowed one another on Instagram.

DJ Switch To Speak At US Conference

DJ Switch, the Nigerian disc jockey and activist, will speak at the 2021 Oslo Freedom Forum in Miami.

The DJ took to Instagram on Sunday night to share a video clip of her arrival in Miami, Florida.

The conference is billed to hold on Monday at the New World Center in Miami, Florida.

Themed 'Truth Ignited', the event promises to celebrate stories that spark action globally in service of the truth.


It will host dissidents, philanthropists, journalists, artists, entrepreneurs, public intellectuals, and world leaders.

Guests are expected to witness talks, art installations, interactive programming, and live musical performances.

The event comes as Nigerians mark a year after the shooting of #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki tollgate in Lagos.

DJ Switch had been in the news after she filmed the infamous October 20, 2020 army crackdown on the protesters.

Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has received a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for his hit song, Essence.

Essence, which features Tems, was released in October 2020 as the 11th song on Wizkid's fourth studio album, Made in Lagos.

In response, the Grammy award-winning singer thanked his fans for their unwavering support while receiving the certification alongside Tems in the United States.

He also congratulated Tems, adding that she is a superstar and the world needs to hear her more.

"I love you baby girl you are special and you are a superstar. This is your time and moment and the world needs to hear this because it is special to me.

"We have a Platinum record and I just want to say thank you to everyone involved in this from Tems to the producers, Legendary beats, these are my brothers from way back. I want to say we made a good beat.

"Thanks to the whole team from believing in the dreams from early, to my fans I appreciate you all and I pray God bless you all," he said.

In 2020, Wizkid became the first African artiste to be certified gold in the United States, after 500,000 units of Come Closer were sold.

Essence becomes his second to be certified this year after his 2017 song, Come Closer, featuring Canadian rapper, Drake, was certified platinum and gold in the UK and Australia respectively in April.
