BBNaija Winner, Whitemoney Walks Barefooted After Gifting A Fan His Footwear

Shine Ya Eye show winner, and former Big Brother Naija season 6 reality television star, Hazel Oyeze Onou, popularly known as Whitemoney has shown love to his fans and supporters.

Whitemoney gave out his footwear, and wristwatch to his supporters, during an event, hosted by MultiChoice, on his behalf, in Lagos on Wednesday, November 10.

The reality star, headlined a trade fair on Wednesday, themed, Special Trade Fair offer, for GOtv and DStv customers, who are equally the fans and supporters of Whitemoney.


The trade fair was basically to offer discounts and amazing prizes to the GOtv and DStv customers.

Whitemoney, who happens to be the winner of Big Brother Naija season 6 show, which just ended in October, decided to thrill his supporters at the event.

In the video currently making the rounds on social media, the reality television star was spotted having fun alongside thousands of his fans who graced the event.

In the course of that, Whitemoney invited one of his male fans and pulled out his wristwatch and offered it to the young man, who was very excited and amazed at the gift.

In another video, Whitemoney was spotted pulling out his footwear to give out to another of his male supporter, who was already overwhelmed as he grabbed the shoe from Whitemoney to wear.

As this was ongoing, people began to clap, as they celebrate the winners of the one in a lifetime experience.

Paul Rudd Emerges 2021 ‘Sexiest Man Alive’

American thespian Paul Rudd has been named People Magazine's 'Sexiest Man Alive' for 2021.

The 52-year-old movie star said he sees himself as a husband and father while reacting to his newest title.

Speaking to the weekly magazine, Rudd said; "I do have an awareness, enough to know that when people hear that I'd be picked for this, they would say, 'What?' "This is not false humility. There are so many people that should get this before me."

"When I think about myself, I think of myself as a husband and a father, like I'm that. I just hang out with my family when I'm not working. That's what I kind of like the most."

"I mean, I'm going to lean into it hard. I'm going to own this. I'm not going to try to be like, 'Oh, I'm so modest.' I'm getting business cards made," the father-of-two stipulated.
 
"I'm hoping now that I'll finally be invited to some of those sexy dinners with Clooney and Pitt and B Jordan."

"And I figure I'll be on a lot more yachts. I'm excited to expand my yachting life. And I'll probably try to get better at brooding in really soft light. I like to ponder. I think this is going to help me become more inward and mysterious. And I'm looking forward to that."

Last year, Michael B. Jordan was announced People's 'Sexiest Man Alive'. George Clooney, Brad Pitt, John Legend, Idris Elba, Chris Hemsworth, and Channing Tatum have also worn the crown.

Moment ZFancy got arrested for allegedly pranking someone

A viral video on social media captures the moment, popular skit-maker, ZFancy was arrested by military officers while carrying out a prank.

It was gathered that the soldiers whisked him away for allegedly doing an risky prank on someone which caused the military men to arrest him.

In the video, the skit-maker whose content revolves around street pranks, could be seen wearing a white tracksuit and white sneakers, while being escorted by the military men into their Hilux vehicle.


A film director, Paul who filmed the dramatic moment, revealed that his phone was almost seized by the army men who refused to believe that it was just a prank.

Movie star, Tonto Dikeh has reacted to an old video of her arrest in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).The actress' response was triggered after the controversial blogger, Gistlovers shared the throwback video with a caption that reads:

"Throwback to when Tonto Dike and Idris were still besties before Devil carry shovel enter their middle 😂😂😂 this Na when police catch Tonto for Dubai 😂😂 I come in peace"

Recall that some time in 2019, news about the arrest of the thespian over drug-related issues made the rounds on social media, which she subsequently debunked.

Nollywood actress, Adebimpe Oyebade, better known as Mo Bimpe finally speaks on the alleged wedding invitation which surfaced days ago involving her and colleague, Lateef Adedimeji.

Recall that blogger, Gistlovers rolled out a wedding invitation of the duo of which the event is scheduled to take place on the 22nd of December 2021.

However, in an interview with Naija Society News, the actress confirmed the news about their upcoming wedding and subsequently cleared other misconceptions and speculations that have sprung up lately.

The fan had asked Meek Mill if he would ever consider releasing music with Wizkid, and the "Expensive Pain" hitmaker responded that he needed to work on a collaboration with Big Wiz.

Former Super Eagles player, Victor Ikpeba has described Cristiano Ronaldo as 'a minus one' to the current Manchester United team.

The former African Footballer of the Year questioned the contribution of Ronaldo to the United team in defence, despite the Portugal International scoring 9 goals in 12 appearances this season.

Manchester United's last game before the International break was a 2-0 defeat to  Manchester City, and Ikpeba wants Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to drop Ronaldo on the bench.

"The great managers come from the ability to get the best from your players, but if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not getting the best from these players, I feel some of the Manchester United players up front are very lazy," Victor Ikpeba told SuperSport's Monday Night Football.

"I want us to look at the game against Man City, how Jesus, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva pressed. They did not allow the defenders to start the build-up from the defence, why can't Man Utd players do the same?

"We saw what Crystal Palace did to Manchester City, they defended very well. I always say Ronaldo is minus one for Manchester United. He can score beautiful goals, he cannot defend.

When you look at the opposition, they defend as a team, they attack as a team, they know when to play the pressing game. Solskjaer has to be ruthless. I want to say put Ronaldo on the bench when he is not performing well," he added.

Mike Tyson confirms return to ring with next potential opponent, Logan Paul

Boxing legend, Mike Tyson has confirmed his plans to return to the ring in February next year.

Tyson made a shock comeback last year in an exhibition against former heavyweight legend Roy Jones Jr.

The bout was declared a draw but many believed that Tyson should have won, after landing Jones by a wide margin.

The event reportedly generated more than 1.6 million pay-per-view buys – with Jake Paul fighting former NBA point guard Nate Robinson on the undercard – as Tyson earned a purse of around £7.5m and Jones approximately £2.25m.

Now, Tyson has confirmed that he plans to return to the ring in February 2022 with reports that YouTube star Logan Paul could be his next opponent.

Tyson said during his attendance at the undisputed clash between Canelo Alvarez and Caleb Plant: "God willing I'll fight again in February."

Tyson had previously claimed he would make his return when he told The Sun : "I am going to have a return fight in February and we are pretty skeptical about the opponent, but it will be a really stimulating opponent."

Illegible Statements Stall Chidinma’s Trial [Usifo Ataga’s murder]

The trial of Chidinma Ojukwu, the prime suspect of the murder of SUPER TV CEO, Usifo Ataga has been stalled due to illegible statements served to the defence counsels on Tuesday at the Lagos High Court in Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS).

NAN reports that the defence counsels complained that the statements contained in the proof of evidence served to them were all illegible and that the audio interviews of the defendants were also inaudible.

They stated that the defendants had a right to clearer statements and audible video interviews as it would enable them to prepare their defence adequately.

Justice Yetunde Adesanya, in her ruling, directed the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) to provide clearer statements and audible copies of the interviews to all the defence counsels before the end of the day.

Adesanya further adjourned the matter to Nov. 11, 15, 16, 17, 26 and 30 for trial.

Earlier, Mrs A.O. Adeyemi had entered an appearance for the prosecution from the DPP, while Mr Onwuka Egbu, Mr Babatunde Busari and Mr A.O. Ogunsanya had appeared for the first to third defendants respectively.

Adeyemi told the court that she had two witnesses in court and was ready to begin the trial, but Egwu informed the court that he had a pending application before the court that was ripe for hearing.

He said that in his application, he was praying for more legible statements, as the ones contained in the proof of evidence the prosecution served him were illegible.

Counsel to the second defendant, Busari, aligned with the submission of the first defence counsel and further complained that the video recordings of the interviews were not served on him.

On his part, counsel to the third defendant, Ogunsanya, from the Office of the Public Defender (OPD), told the court that the video interviews of the defendants that were served on him were not audible.

He aligned with previous submissions that the statements he was served were also not clear.

The defence counsels submitted that they needed all these documents to enable them to prepare for the trial adequately.

Adeyemi told the court that she would send soft copies of all the proof of evidence to each defence counsels' email before the end of the day.

Recall that the three defendants were arraigned on Oct. 12, on a nine-count charge preferred against them by the Lagos State Government.

They had allegedly murdered the Chief Executive Officer of Super TV, Micheal Usifo Ataga.

The first two defendants, Chidinma Ojukwu and Adedapo Quadri are facing the first eight counts on the charge bordering on conspiracy, murder, stabbing, forgery, making of bank statements and stealing.

The third defendant, who is the first defendant's sister, Chioma Egbuchu, is facing the ninth count charge of stealing iPhone 7, phone, belonging to the late Ataga.

In the charge, the defendants were alleged to have conspired amongst themselves and murdered Ataga on June 15, 2021, by stabbing him severally with a knife on his neck and chest.

The incident took place at No. 19, Adewale Oshin Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

The duo was also accused of committing forgery by procuring and making bank account statements purported to have been made by the deceased.

They were also alleged to have forged United Bank of Africa account statement of one Mary from June 1, 2021, an international passport and a driver's license in Chidinma's name

BBNaija star, Cross got arrested in South Africa

Reality star, Cross has narrated how he got arrested by the South African police but was later released after a brief exchange.

The fitness enthusiast took to his Twitter handle in the early hours of today, 9th November to narrate his encounter with the police officers.

According to Cross, he had unconsciously flouted the country's rules by stepping out when a curfew was declared. He revealed that he was taken to their office, where he told the security personnel that he had a South African name 'Siyabonga' and it was his first time visiting the country.

After some time, he was released.

Narrating the encounter, he wrote:

"So SA I got stoped by your police, apparently there's a curfew. They took me to their office, Omo nobody tell me ooo. So guys I tell them say I get name called siyabonga and my first time in SA and they smiled and I think they wan let us go ooo.

Omo japa japa. My bed they call me . Thanks guys We free now"
