Christmas is in full swing. In a month, we would be singing jingle bells and enjoying the festive season.

Although many Nigerians have not imbibed this tradition of giving gifts at Christmas, gift-giving increases the Christmas cheer.

In case you are out of gift ideas, these are some you should consider;

1. Electrical appliances, kitchen appliances or household gadgets
A new phone, toaster, a new blender, an air conditioning unit, a generator, a rechargeable fan or an electronic gas cooker considering gas prices are good gifting ideas.

The list of appliances you can get for them is endless, and it would be appreciated especially if they do not have it already.

2. Jewellery
When in doubt, get jewellery. Women can never have enough jewellery. A necklace with a beautiful pendant, a wristwatch, a bracelet or earrings is perfect.

Some men also wear jewellery. You can buy chains, watches and rings, so do not think this is just for one gender.

3. Clothes, shoes and bags
Everyone needs new clothes no matter how rich they are. The important thing is to get your loved ones what they like and will appreciate.

The best way to find out is to ask them what they would have, they have probably been saving screenshots all year. The next best way is to observe what they like.

4. Food hampers
Everyone loves a good food hamper and it is one of the easiest things to get for a loved one.

Get a good deal on a hamper with snacks they will be eating out of for months.

5. Get what a person needs
Knowing what a person needs is not too difficult if you have a close relationship with them and if you do not know, ask. I promise it would not diminish the thoughtfulness of the gift.

Perhaps they have been complaining about something or you notice that they lack an essential item or maybe it is something they fancy like a new game that they do not have already. Getting it for them would elicit much love and appreciation.

Remember gift-giving is not about you or what you think but what the other person will needs or loves to have.

Recently, Emmanuel's fans jumped on a new challenge which required them to share a photo of themselves alongside that of the reality TV star.

A female fan who was identified as Amarachi Okafor, participated in the challenge and dropped a beautiful photo of herself.

No doubt, the fan in question is a very beautiful young lady. However, after seeing this photo of the female fan, Emmanuel couldn't help but gush over her picture.

Reality star, Beatrice opens up — Can’t believe I’m still afraid of lovemaking at my age

Big Brother Naija Season 6 ex-housemate, Beatrice Nwaji has revealed that she's still afraid of lovemaking with a man, at her age.

The reality TV star made this disclosure to fans, in a new post on her official page on social micro-blogging platform Twitter, recently.

According to Beatrice, she finds it hard to believe that despite everything she's done in life so far, lovemaking with a man has been one of the things that strikes great fear into her, even at her present age.

Rapper, Speed Darlington has threatened to sink the country with unimaginable fraudulent activities if the government of Imo State fails to give a show.

Akpioku as he is also called, took to his Instagram page to launch a live session where he warned the public about his disastrous and castrophic plan if he doesn't get a show soon.

The rapper who spoke in an aggressive tone vowed to destroy the country with his fraudulent activities.


He also noted that his style of operation would be far greater than Hushpuppi's own since his efforts aren't well appreciated as it ought to be.

CKay writes, after fans belittled his song’s global achievement — “It’s a win not just for me but the entire culture”

Singer, CKay who went global with his song "Love Nwantiti" has taken to to Twitter to address hateful comments from fans.

Some fans had mocked him saying he's not popular in the country and cannot be compared to stars like Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy.

Recall that Ckay had recently received a BRIT Certified silver plaque for his hit song "Love Nwantiti", after it grossed over 200,000 sales in the United Kingdom.


However, in an emotional tweet, Ckay clarified to fans that everything he has won so far, he won and did it for the culture.

The singer noted that his achievement should also be regarded as a big win for the Nigerian music industry as well.

Popular comedienne, Princess, has opened up about her failed marriage with estranged husband, Adeshola Jeremiah, recently.

Princess tied the knot with Adeshola Jeremiah in an elaborate wedding ceremony held in May 2013, but sadly the marriage lasted for just two weeks.

While speaking up about her experience in a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, the comedienne said that after her marriage crashed, she (Princess) felt like a failure and thought that her life had ended.

In her words;

"When my marriage crashed in 2013, ill tell you the truth that was my first failure. I just felt my life had ended. Getting up might be very difficult. It's like a stampede. When you fall down, others are running for their lives too. They will step on you even unknowingly. Some people have stepped on me, nearly made me lose my life."

In a recent interview, DJ Cuppy emphasized the shift of dynamic with Kiddwaya from being her good friend to suddenly seeing him on the BBNaija show.

Contrary to the social media deduction of her obsession with the brand influencer, the billionaire's daughter stated that she had a problem with his transition.

Reactions trail the popular Afro Pop singer, Simi Kosoko after leaving remarks on how an air host expressed 'fake awww' to her daughter, Adejare.

Simi had taken to Twitter to express concern over a fake love showered at her baby girl by an air host during an encounter.


"This air host guy really did one fake aww for Deja. Is it by force to say aw for baby. I did not greet you. She did not greet you. Why you fake aww my baby. God save you that I'm working on myself. Ko ko aw buruku danu," she wrote.


This however was followed by mixed reactions on the definition of a fake awww and how she could tell of its originality.

"How does she know the awww was fake? Either ways the hair host was just trying to be nice and welcoming it's part of his job," a user wrote in reaction.

Twitter user calls out superstar singer, Tiwa Savage over her alleged neglect of rising female singers, Ayra Starr and Tems in the music industry.

Tems and Ayra Starr have indeed made significant waves in the entertainment industry since their signing to their individual record labels.

According to a social media user identified as @ManLikeIcey, Tiwa Savage has not done much in support of these rising stars, unlike the support Wizkid and Davido gave to other talented singers.


"Tiwa Savage has never acknowledged Ayra Starr and Tems for their current wave, she steadily talks about "women support women". Wizkid and Davido have acknowledged Rema and Fireboy series of times by the way," he wrote.


His claim was however faulted by many who claimed that the mother of one actually supported the singers in her own way.

Femi Otedola, a popular Nigerian billionaire, has celebrated his daughter, Florence, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, on her birthday.

DJ Cuppy, who is an entrepreneur and artiste, clocked 29 years on Thursday, November 11.

To celebrate his daughter, the proud father took to his Instagram page to share a picture of himself and DJ Cuppy.

In the caption, the Chairman of Zenon Petroleum and Gas Limited described his daughter as his "heartbeat and headache".

Big Brother Naija Star, Sammie and his team paid a visit to the first lady of his state, Kogi, Rasheeda Yahaya Bello.

The Reality TV Star took to his Instagram page to share the good news as he finally returned to his home state after his time at the big brother Naija house.

His first place of visit was his parent's home, after spending a few days with his parent and siblings he decided to pay a courtesy visit to the Governor's office.

Terrence J Escapes Armed Robbers Who Reportedly Shot Him

Hollywood actor and Television host, Terrence J is grateful to be alive after he was reportedly shot at, during a follow-home robbery near his home in Los Angeles.

A follow-home robbery is a plot in which victims leaving upscale restaurants or hotels are targeted and then followed home to be robbed.

The actor who rose to fame with his role in Romance comedy film ' Think Like A Man' was returning to his home in Sherman Oaks when masked men blocked his way in an SUV around 3am on Wednesday morning, November 10, according to Fox LA.

He was reportedly ordered out of the vehicle at gunpoint, but he was able to escape in his car.

Reports say he was then followed, with one of the men shooting at his car. There have been no injuries reported.

LAPD Sergeant Hector Olivera said: 'People need to be aware of the surroundings, especially leaving nightclubs, restaurants and what have you.

'It seems that the suspects are targeting individuals that either have expensive jewelry, expensive cars, and things of that nature.'

Monster’s Ball Actor, Coronji Calhoun Sr, Passes On [Heart Failure]

Actor, Coronji Calhoun Sr, is dead.

The actor who played Harry Berry's son in the movie Monster's Ball died at the age of 30.

Coronji, who played the character Tyrell Musgrove in the 2001 film, died of heart failure and lung problems on October 13, his mother confirmed.
Halle Berry and Monster's Ball producer Lee Daniels have contributed to a GoFundMe page for his funeral costs, both with donations of $3,394 each.

His mother, Theresa Bailey, wrote on the page on Wednesday, Nov. 10: "Coronji Calhoun Sr. recently joined the ancestors in watching over me and our family on October 13, 2021.

"At the age of ten, he portrayed Tyrell, son of Lawrence (Sean "P. Diddy" Combs) and Leticia Musgrove (Halle Berry) in the 2001 Academy Award winning film, Monster's Ball.

"Unfortunately, we did not have any life insurance policy on him (as we never expected this tragedy to befall us) before he transitioned."

She went on to ask fans for help, she added: "Now we ask for generosity in your donations as we prepare to give Coronji a sacred celebration of life."

The page has over $10,000 in donations now.

Coronji secured the role in Monster's Ball as the son of Berry's lead character, Leticia Musgrove, after attending an open casting call in Louisiana.

Monster's Ball is the only acting credit Coronji had.

The film earned Berry an Oscar for Best Actress, the first woman of colour to win in the lead category.

Ckay Reacts After Fans Of His Colleagues Belittled His Achievements

The Love Nwantiti crooner took to the bluebird to address fanbases of his colleagues comparing and belittling his achievements since his song went global.

In an emotional tweet, Ckay clarified that everything he has won so far, he won and did it for the culture.

He noted that his achievement should be regarded as a big win for the Nigerian music industry and not a means to degrade and compare artists to their favorite Artistes.

Ckay also disclosed that he is yet to understand what the hate is all about. He added that if the critics has refused to see 'Love Nwantiti' going global as a win, they can continue crying on Twitter.
