Davido Reacts Following The Obi Cubana Arrest

Superstar crooner, David Adeleke, better known as Davido has heaped praises on Obi Cubana amid the trending saga about the arrest of the socialite.

We had reported that the renowned entrepreneur and CEO of Cubana Groups was arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday afternoon, 1st November 2021 over alleged money laundering and tax fraud.

Reacting to this news, Davido took to his Instagram story to share a photo of the billionaire while dropping a caption in Igbo dialect.

He wrote:

"Obi nwere Ego" meaning "Obi has money"

She further appealed to fans to stop talking about her marriage because there's nothing between them anymore.


According to Laila, she has completed the divorce process, and has no business with the billionaire philanthropist anymore.

She further advised those following her on Instagram because of Ned Nwoko to unfollow her.

Controversial Nigerian actor Yomi Fabiyi has shared his opinion about k*ssing one's partner.

Yomi Fabiyi in his latest post on Instagram disclosed that love does not exist in a relationship when couples are not locking their lips with one another.

The Nollywood thespian also pointed out that when having intercourse, if ki-ssing is missing in all the processes, it means such intercourse isn't done out of love but for other selfish benefits.

Yomi Fabiyi, who is also a movie producer, stated that when kissing is no more involved in a marriage, such union might head for a collapse, hence there is a need for the couple to sit and discuss the future of the conjugal.

Jaiye Kuti Scores Doctorate Degree In The US

Veteran Nigerian actress Jaiye Kuti is the latest doctorate degree holder in town, thanks to Prowess University, Daleware in USA.

The institution honoured the actress with the degree in Fine Arts. Jaiye Kuti disclosed this on her official Instagram page on Sunday, October 31, 2021.

Announcing the good news, Jaiye shared images of herself decorated in an academic gown and flaunted her new certificate.

Accolades have been pouring on her page since she broke the news. Many of her fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry have also felicitated with her.

Jaiye also expressed her happiness to everyone who congratulated her on her new achievement. "I appreciate everyone who sent in goodwill messages to celebrate the award of my doctorate degree; you all will be celebrated in Jesus name."

Socialite, Obinna Iyiegbu, better known as Obi Cubana hits the gram with a photo of himself and a message of love following his release from EFCC custody.

The entertainment magnate who got arrested on Monday afternoon, 1st November 2021 over alleged money laundering and tax fraud, subsequently regained his freedom, yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, 2nd November 2021.

Following news in respect to his release, the billionaire sent out love to everyone who stood by him during these few hours of distress.

Billionaire entrepreneur, Obi Cubana has been released from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The business expert who was arrested on Monday afternoon, 1st November 2021 following allegations linking him to money laundering and tax fraud has been set free by the security agency.

The news about his release was shared by his colleague and friend, Instigator PH via his Instagram page.

He wrote:

"Thank u Jesus!! @obi_cubana is free. We gat Jesus!!! . Dis Dance is for all my fans. I love u all."

Don Jazzy donates N1.5 million for 100 young Nigerians to learn coding

Music executive, Don Jazzy recently donated the sum of N1.5 million naira to enable 100 young Nigerians learn how to code.

The Mavins boss made the donation following an appeal by the Founder of Code Hub Africa, Chizom Echehieuka that he (Don Jazzy) should sponsor 100 youths for the programme which costs N15k for each person.

Chizom had tweeted;

"Dear @DONJAZZY Please would you like to sponsor 100 Nigerian youths to learn how to code at our online mentorship program (Code Hub Africa Tech). It's 15k per person. Thank you.

Please tag Rihanna's boyfriend if you want to be part of this sponsorship"

However, upon seeing the post, Don Jazzy swiftly sent N1.5 million into the Tech firm founder's account.


"Ok boss. Just sent 1.5Million Naira to your Vbank account, " he tweeted back in response.

He also asked Mr Chizom to select only serious minded Nigerian youths for the tech programme.


On his part, Chizom expressed gratitude and said the selected students would make Nigeria proud.

"Baba Don Jazzy, God bless you. The Mentees go make Nigeria proud. History will not forget you baba," he wrote in reply.


Don Jazzy then shared some evidence to prove that the payment has been done.

Boy Survives Ikoyi-Building Collapse [Photos]

Nigerians on social media have expressed gratitude to God after a young boy miraculously survived the Ikoyi building collapse.

Reports gathered that the boy survived after jumping off the falling building into another compound.


Ehunoney who shared the good news, including a photo of the young boy on his page, wrote;

"This guy jumped from the collapsed building into our compound."

In an update, it has been reported that some people trapped under the rubble have been rescued alive in ongoing efforts.


The General Manager, Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA), Mr Gbolahan Oki, said the owner of the collapsed 21-storey building, under construction in Ikoyi, was given approval to construct only 15 floors.

Oki told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on telephone that the owner of the property has been arrested and would face the law because people have died in the disaster.

Big Brother Naija season 6 star, Queen has narrated how she narrowly escaped a horrific incident that could have ended badly this morning, November 1.

According to the reality show star who was lodged in a room on the 25th floor of a hotel, there was a fire incident in the hotel and the fire alarm went off but she didn't pay attention to it.

She said her hotel room and the lobby were filled with smoke, so she alerted her best friend and brother who were also in the same room.


However, due to the nature of the emergency, the light was disconnected and the elevator stopped working. Queen said they had to look for another means to get to the ground floor and luckily, they found the staircase.

According to her, all the while, she was speaking in tongues and praying to God to avert the situation. Fortunately, they all made it out in one piece.

Years after the painful death of O.J Simpson's wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, Caitlyn Jenner makes shocking revelation.

According to Caitlyn Jenner, O.J. Simpson "obviously" killed his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and his ex-wife Kris Jenner knew her best friend would be murdered before it happened.

Caitlyn made this revelation on Big Brother VIP  series on Monday, November 1, while talking to her co-stars, Omarosa and Jessika Power, about her very personal connection to the O.J. Simpson murder trial.

Caitlyn, who was married to Kris Jenner, said: "I was at Nicole's house two days before the murder.

"Nicole was Kris' best friend, had been for a long time."

Without mincing words, Caitlyn said: "Obviously he did it, and he got away with it."

Caitlyn, who fathered Kendall and Kylie Jenner, continued: "And at one point he even told Nicole, 'I'll kill you and get away with it, 'cause I'm O.J. Simpson'.

"And Nicole relayed that onto Kris at one point, and unfortunately she was right.

"We were at the courthouse, we were watching what was going on in the other room, and even after the not guilty verdict, the first thing Kris [does is she] turns around to me and goes, 'We should have listened to Nicole, she was right right from the beginning'."O.J.'s ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman were found dead at her home in Brentwood on June 12, 1994.

Nicole and her family had dined at Mezzaluna Trattoria, a local restaurant where Ron was a waiter, earlier in the night.
 
Nicole's mother, Juditha Brown, had accidentally left her sunglasses at the restaurant and Ron, who was a friend of Nicole's, agreed to drop them off at her house when his shift ended.

At midnight both bodies were discovered on the walkway outside of her home.

O.J. Simpson, who had a history of domestic violence against Nicole, was arrested on June 17, 1994, and charged with the double murders.

His 11-month long trial at Los Angeles Superior Court ended when he was found not guilty on October 3, 1995.
