Billionaire heiress DJ Cuppy has come out to make it known that international star Kanye West is not the richest black man.

The singer stated that Aliko Dangote who is the richest man in Africa and in Nigeria is her godfather and he is the richest black man. She said this on Twitter calling out Kanye West in the process.

Just recently Kanye West revealed that his ex-wife Kim Kardashian refused to tell him the address of his daughter, Chicago West birthday party, but he managed to find out from Travis Scott and he was able to make the birthday on time and be with his daughter.

A video of a Nigerian TikToker wanting to see Don Jazzy as he visited Mavin Records' headquarters has gone viral.

In the TikTok clip, the man approached the gate and made small talks with the security officials before telling them who he wants to see.

The man funnily said that he dropped a song that he would like the producer to use in his TikTok video. When they told him the don is not around, the artiste said he would wait.

He went ahead to tell them he is following Don Jazzy but the music boss never gave him a follow back on Instagram.

A Nigerian side chick who pleaded anonymity has shared her experience with Blessing Okoro, a popular relationship blogger, as she frowns at the encomium she received from a married man whom she is dating.

Noting that the married man abuses his wife badly, the side chick admitted to the excess love she gets in her relationship with the man.

According to her, when she summoned up courage and ask why he was abusive to his wife, she got this shocking response: "she be mumu, she no get sense but you get sense."

The highly decorated African American actor, producer, director, and writer has an estimated net worth that runs into seven digits, according to the business magazine. His Madea franchise alone netted him $660 million. As a result, he was named to Forbes' Billionaire List.

Tyler Perry has directed 30 films, 20 plays, and 8 television series during the course of his career. With this success, the actor was able to rise from poverty to become a multi-billionaire. According to Forbes, he owns a 330-acre property called Tyler Perry Studios, which is valued at $280 million and receives 25% of its revenue from BET+'s streaming services. He also owns TV programs and films worth $320 million.


Tyler Perry is a role model for people who aspire to be self-made billionaires. To be able to create his business, he has put in a lot of effort. He did not inherit his money because he grew up poor and worked hard for everything he has. All of his possessions are the consequence of his efforts.

Emmitt Perry Jr. was born to Emmitt Perry Sr. and Willie Maxine Perry in New Orleans, Louisiana, and has three siblings. His carpenter father had abused him since he was a child. He said that three men molested him after gaining courage from the film Precious, and that he was molested again by the mother of his friend when he was ten years old; it was later revealed that his father had also molested his friend. He began writing to relieve his miseries and discovered that he had a talent for art. Writing stories became therapeutic for him, and he eventually decided to pursue a profession in this industry.

Perry dropped out of high school but obtained his GED and began doing odd jobs to supplement his income. Recently wedded Nollywood actor, Stan Nze, has disclosed why he questioned his readiness for marriage.

According to the seasoned actor, celebrity breakups made him questioned his readiness for marriage.

The 32-year-old revealed this in an interview with media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, in Rubbin' Minds show, which aired on Sunday.

The Rattlesnake star had married a fellow Nollywood star, Blessing Obasi, aged 42, in September 2021, a period that witnessed breakups and marriage crises involving celebrities like Tonto Dikeh, 2Baba, etc.

According to the actor, he had planned to keep his marriage under wraps till his honeymoon.
 
He said, "I've always wanted my family to be private. My marriage was to be under wraps until my honeymoon but my wife insisted we post a photo so we control any coming narrative. We'd been together for 3 and a half years," he said.

"I want my marriage to work. A week before my marriage, I left social media. There was a lot of news on Instagram. Partners were fighting each other. I was literally palpitating, asking myself if I was ready for marriage.

Daniel Eze, who is visually-impaired has been gifted the sum of N100,000 by Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie after he

mimicked his baritone voice and sounded just like him.

On Sunday the actor shared a video of the blind fan who was mimicking him via his Instagram page, declaring his intention to gift him a sum of N100,000.

"A blind fan of mine who mimicked my voice. He'll get 100k today as soon as I receive his name and account details," Edochie captioned the video.

Calling on other fans to do the same, he said, "You can post your videos on your page then tag me. I want to see stronger performances. Good luck."

Popular Nollywood actor and comedian, Imeh Bishop Umoh well known as Okon of Lagos has urged Nigerians to pay a lot of attention to the training of the boy child in order to eliminate a slew of social vices, including the growing number of rituals being perpetrated by Yahoo boys.

Bola Tinubu, national Leader of the All Progressives Congress, claims that it is certain he would come out victorious in the 2023 election with the strong backing of the people

The former Lagos governor said on January 10 that he had notified President Muhammadu Buhari of his desire to contest for president.

While visiting the Ibadan home of Rashidi Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo, Tinubu claimed he received positive replies from key players about his wish to run for president.

Following the deaths of Jimoh Oyewumi, the Soun of Ogbomoso; Saliu Adetunji, the Olubadan of Ibadan; and Adebayo Alao-Akala, a former governor of Oyo, Tinubu traveled to Ibadan to convey his sympathies to the state's governor, Seyi Makinde.

Tinubu acknowledged the hurdles he will encounter in his campaign after his meeting with Ladoja, but expressed hope that he will win.

He said;

Femi Branch – If Bobrisky Made Such Statement About A Yoruba Oba, Would People Have Talked?

Nollywood actor, Femi Branch, has taken to social media to react to last weekend's spat which controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky had with Edo state indigenes.

Recall that Bobrisky was in the state to attend an event and he took to Snapchat to express how happy he was to be there. In his excitement, he asked the Oba of Benin to come and marry him. This statement got Edo state indigenes angry and they came out in their numbers to condemn him for making such remarks about their revered monarch and also threatened to deal with him if he is seen at the event he came for.

With the several threats received, Bobrisky was visibly absent from the event he was to attend. He also tendered a public apology for his comment.

In an Instagram live session, Femi Branch said the indigenes of Edo state came out to condemn Bobrisky's comment because they revere their king. Wondering if the same reaction could occur if Bobrisky asked a Yoruba monarch to marry him, the actor said:

"A lot of people meet me and say, 'I don't really watch Nigerian movies but I watch your own movies'. With due apologies, that is one of the dumbest things people say. Is my own movie a Togolese one? That is one of the reasons I respect Benin culture.

Look at what happened recently. Bobrisky made a joke. But, there are some institutions you don't joke with.

Bobrisky could say he is a Yoruba guy (or babe); however 'she' wants to be addressed. He must have been seeing how some Yoruba Obas have been behaving in recent times. That must have made him feel he could make such a comment about the revered Oba of Benin. It was when he made that statement he realized the Oba of Benin isn't just any king.

Some people thought the reactions were a bit too much but Benin people don't joke with their culture. And that is because the Oba of Benin does not 'carry himself' anyhow.

Our culture and tradition are dying by the minute and people don't even seem to be concerned. There was an uproar by the indigenes of Benin because they don't joke with their king and their king also doesn't joke with their tradition. Do you think if Bobrisky had made such a statement about a Yoruba oba, people would have talked? Let us tell ourselves the truth. Is it normal to see our kings on Instagram frolicking with 'commoners'?"

What up and coming singer, Portable Said About Rapper Drake Singing ‘Zazuu Zeh’

Controversial Nigerian street-hop artiste, Portable, has reacted after a fan compared him to American rapper, Drake.

The fan had taken to the popular micro-blogging platform to assert that the "Zazu zeh" crooner is gradually replacing the international act in the music industry.

"Portable is slowly replacing Drake" the fan tweeted.
 

On sighting the post, Portable quoted the tweet, bragged about singing Drake's hit single, 'God's plan', word for word and asked if the Canadian Rapper can sing his smash hit song 'Zazu zeh".
