Contestant Jane Marczewski, Aka Nightbird, Passes On, Aged 31

Following an intense battle with cancer for more than five years, America's Got Talent star Jane Marczewski, aka Nightebirde, has died.

The 31 years old talented singer was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer that had progressed as time went on.

The singer passed away on Sunday, Feb. 20, after the disease spread to her lungs, spine, and liver.
Macrzewski performed under the stage name Nightbirde, and she competed on the 16th season of America's Got Talent.

Sadly, she dropped out of the AGT finals, and shared the news on Instagram last August after revealing her health had deteriorated.

Tributes are already pouring in after her death was announced.

America's Got Talent wrote via its official Twitter account: "Your voice, your story, and your message touched millions. Nightbirde will always be a member of the AGT family. Rest In Peace, Jane."

AGT host Terry Crews shared a tribute to the star on Instagram.

He wrote: "We are saddened to learn about @_nightbirde's Passing. Our Condolences goes to her Closest Family & Friends in such of This difficult time. We Love you, Nightbirde."


Show judge, Howie Mandel also shared a tribute to Macrzewski in a Twitter post on Monday.

He wrote: "@_nightbirde was such a bright inspirational light in all our lives.we must continue to live and learn from her words and lyrics. As much as I feel horribly about her passing I feel lucky to to have met, heard and known her."

Controversial crossdresser, James Brown has taken to social media to narrate his experience with Storm Eunice in the UK.

The video showed moments the popular cross dresser was seen fighting for his life as the storm got to the area he was.

Brown held his friend who has more weight in order not to be swept away by the storm.

However, in another video he shared, Brown used the medium to share his experience and how he was almost blown away by the storm.

He further appreciated his friend who helped him calm the situation.

His fans have also taken to their Instagram pages to react to the video.

DJ Chicken And His Boys Vow To Beat Up Singer Portable For Assaulting Him

Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Chicken, has vowed to beat up Popular Nigerian Singer, Portable after he allegedly assaulted him over his controversial and defaming videos.

The brouhaha between Portable and DJ Chicken started after the latter dragged the Zazuu Zeh crooner over his inability to speak both Pidgin and English fluently.

Portable in a post shared online referred to DJ Chicken as an ingrate and a betrayal who didn't show him love when they were working together. The Singer reportedly also sent his guys to track down his old friend to prove his superiority over him.

Reacting after this, DJ Chicken took to his Instagram page and accused Portable of sending thugs to assault him and his friends.

In the video he posted online, the DJ and his boys swore to cut off those thugs wings that make Portable feel untouchable. DJ Chicken believes Portable has bitten more than he can chew.

Zinoleesky Crashes His New Wrangler Jeep In Gutter

Marlian Record act, Zinoleesky got his fans talking after a video of him crashing the new Wrangler Jeep he just bought emerged on social media.

The singer went on Instagram live during the crash as he was heard making some funny comments about how the accident happened.

Zinoleesky was not greatly disturbed by what happened, as he gave explanations about what caused the crash and sounded nonchalant about it.

He said he was trying to turn and he eventually lost control.

A friend of popular reality star, Boma Akpore, flaws the decision of the organizers of the Big Brother Naija reality show over the disqualification of the actor.

This comes months after the conclusion of the reality show in which Whitemoney Hazel went home with the grand prize of N90M.

According to a Newyorker in a video making rounds on social media, Boma should have won the show and not anyone else.

He said this while being backed by Boma who seems to have a problem losing the show before the grand finale.

Adeyemi Badirat Olaitan, the estranged wife of the Alaafin of Oyo has clapped back at critics who accused her of having a Brazilian butt lift surgery and also trying to hide it.

One of her followers got on her nerves on Instagram with a derisive remark that stirred her reaction.

The follower among others ridiculed her while also encouraging her to flaunt the butt her 'doctor gave her'.

"How long will you keep sitting down. We already know you did BBL. Stand up and flaunt what your Dr gave you," the follower wrote.


The follower's remark followed her recent photos in a sitting posture.

In what appears to be an angry reaction, Olaitan retorted while admitting to having a butt enlargement surgery.

On Instagram, she wrote: "Madam, if it is BBL, please kindly do your own now Abi?? If I like I sit down, if I like I stand. It's my choice and it's my money. I paid for the BBL. Leave me alone now."

Brand marketer lists a number of reasons why the housemates of the Big Brother Naija reality show are bad business for brand influencing.

In a question and answer session on Instagram, a marketing expert noted that BBNaija housemates are an unproductive way of influencing 'clean brands.'

When asked, What do you think about influencers that come out of big brother?

The marketer wrote in response, "I don't use them, they aren't brand fit for where I work. Maybe if I change companies to a waist trainer brand, alcohol, condom brand maybe, If you work for a conservative brand or a clean brand, the press they bring, the drama, you have to look at that your brand and see if that's the kind of publicity you want to be associated with.

Secondly, longevity is the issue with them. They are only relevant till the next big brother, only a handful has found a way to extend their lifespan.

Also, they weren't originally content creators. They just happened to have followers cos of the platform, don't expect too much in terms of value in content creating, don't expect at all.

Personally, I won't sign such one, even the big ones, It;s just more headache. There are just better ways to spend your money, who knows, my view might change. Then alot don't know how to reinvent themselves and create other value, in terms of this Anto is the only one I've used, cos she's a great host, so that's one with value."

Late Afrobeat Singer, Fela Kuti inducted into Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame

Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, the late pioneer of Afrobeat has been inducted into the 2022 Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame: a ceremony organized to honour African Americans with a monument for their achievements in entertainment.

Other inductees include Smokey Robison, Berry Gordy, Cicely Tyson, Ray Charles, Tyler Perry, Yolanda Adams, Lionel Richie and others.

It is noteworthy that the Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame started in January 2021, and it's located in Atlanta, Georgia.

Fela's induction follows a recent announcement that he is one of the 17 nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction for 2022.

The Rock and Roll Class of 2022 will be revealed in May 2022, reports say.

Pastor David Ibiyeomie says – “You’re a criminal if you don’t pay your tithe; your offense is punishable”

Pastor David Ibiyeomie, lead Pastor of Salvation Ministries, has proclaimed that individuals who do not pay their tithes to the church are criminals.

The televangelist, who compared tithing to paying taxes to the federal government, stated on Sunday that giving 10% of all earnings to the church is required.

Refusing to pay tithe, like tax evasion, is a serious act, according to him.

In his words:

"Tax is the government's share, so you don't say I want to give the government my tax, you say you want to pay tax, that is how tithe is God's own. Leviticus 27:30. God is the owner of the tithe. So, what do you do?

"You pay, it's only in Nigeria you don't pay tax and they can leave you, in the Western world it is a big criminal offence, if you don't pay tithe, you are a criminal, your offence is punishable, tithe is simply one-tenth of your income, 10 per cent of your income goes to God."

He further stated that if an individual keeps experiencing near success syndrome, it is not because they need deliverance, but it's because they're not tithers

The pastor said:

"Near success syndrome will not happen. If you're experiencing near success syndrome don't go for deliverance, you're not a tither. Anything that I do, when it is close to manifestation, the thing will just go off, you're not a faithful tither.

"Many deliverance ministries, they just go for deliverance, this is the problem, they don't pay Tithe faithfully. Yet, they will say anything I want to do, when it is about to click it will just go off.

"It is near success syndrome. Correct it from tithing, don't correct it from seven days deliverance. Hear this, tithe must be paid first otherwise the curse will remain"

Reno Omokri calls out DSTV for assigning channel 419 to NTA, says – “It is a deliberate action”

Popular political activist and Lawyer, Reno Omokri has chastised DSTV for giving NTA, the Nigerian government-owned broadcaster, the 419 channel.

The Nigerian Television Authority being assigned the frequency channel 419 is not a coincidence, says the controversial figure.

He claims it is DSTV's method of mocking and demarketing the nation.

The portion of the Nigerian Criminal Code dealing with fraud and the penalties for offenders is known as "419."

As a result, every type of financial fraud or deception in Nigeria is referred to as "419."

The assignment of channel 419 to the Nigerian Television Authority by DSTV carries a very potent subliminal message, according to Reno.

Popular Nollywood actress and evangelist Eucharia Anunobi has taken to her social media page to preach against couples who hide things from each other.

According to the evangelist, individuals who do not know the shoe size of their spouse are bound in grave clothes; so are people who hide their financial status from their spouse.

The actress went on to chastise critically people who cheat on their spouses. She says also that these kind of individuals are as well bound in grave clothes.

Janemena, an online dancer who posts her tw3rk videos in all her social media platforms talked about the way her mum reacted after paying her a visit.

She noted that her mother became emotional when she saw her because she i and fuller now. Her mother hugged her well. She added that her mother recollected how she lost weight last year.

A Twitter user, identified as @Tejumola has taken to the micro blogging platform to state that most men do not go for female medics because of who they are; but because they feel they've found a trophy.

The lady complained on Twitter that if a woman tells a Nigerian man she's a doctor or a nurse, they quickly bring up marriage without even knowing and understanding her.

She went on to say that most Nigerian men regard female doctors as trophies, and that most of these guys are reluctant to help them because they feel they are wealthy.

She backed up her claim with a tweet claiming that males drove around the Lagos University Teaching Hospital looking for female physicians and nurses.

Her tweet reads:

"It's quite interesting and sad to see that Nigerian female medics are hardly ever desired for who they are. The moment you tell most Nigerian men you're a doctor/nurse, they bring up marriage because to them, they've found a trophy.

They fixate on that little detail and get so immersed in it that, as far as they're concerned, that's all they need to know about you. They just want to be able to say "My wife is a doctor."

Your entire personality doesn't matter, they are not willing to spend on you like they would other girls, they just want that "trophy" in their house. And you spend so much time in school that by the time you graduate, these men think they are doing you a favour."

In the screenshot of Davido's WhatsApp chat with Isreal, Isreal apparently sent a video to his boss about how he wishes to usher him into his 02 show.

Reno Omokri asserts – “Marriages can survive marital infidelity, but not marital poverty”

Popular controversial Political activist and lawyer, Reno Omokri has recently asserted that marriages can survive infidelity but cannot survive poverty.

According to the controversial figure, research has found that what is the leading cause of divorce is finance.

He advised people to desist from saying that love conquers all, because when there is no money, love vanishes.
