Iyabo Ojo –My Daughter Can’t Marry A Married Man

Nollywood Yoruba Actress Iyabo Ojo has said that her daughter Priscilla cannot date or be a second wife to a married man.

The single mother of two said this at a karaoke and comedy night she attended on Sunday. She posted the video on her Instagram page in the early hours of Monday.

During the show, the host, comedian Akporo, asked after Iyabo's daughter and joked about having a crush on her.


Reacting to the joke, Iyabo reminded him of his marital status, adding that her daughter cannot marry a married man.

She said: "You are a married man, a born again married man that has the fear of God. My daughter cannot marry a married man or date a married man."

In 2021, Iyabo joked about believing in early marriage as an African mother.Joking with her daughter and others in an Instagram video, the actress said she wants her engaged at 23, married at 24 and delivered of a baby at 25.

Iyabo, a single mother, has another child named Festus.

Actress Uche Ogbodo Speaks On Alleged Beef With Tonto Dikeh – ‘We Are Not Enemies But We Are Not Friends’

Nollywood Actress, Uche Ogbodo has finally opened up on the rumored fight between her and Colleague, Tonto Dikeh.

A few weeks ago, Uche Ogbodo shared a photo with her man Bobby, her colleague Rosy Meurer and her husband Churchill Olakunle who happens to be Tonto Dikeh's ex-husband on her page.

The photo showed Uche and her man rocking matching outfits while Rosy and Churchill went for something different.

The picture generated reactions indicating that Tonto Dikeh and Uche Ogbodo are at logger heads and that's the reason she is in good terms with Rosy and Churchill.

In an exclusive interview with Kemi Filani News, Uche Ogbodo cleared up on the supposed enmity between herself and Tonto Dikeh.

She said, "People are criticizing me for hanging out with Churchill, why would they criticize me for hanging out with a great man like Churchill and Rosy, an amazing friend of mine. Rosy and Churchill are beautiful souls.

Why will people on earth criticize me for hanging out with them?
I love them, they are my friends and that's all that matters. They equally love me. Because of that, people call me Tonto Dikeh's enemy? Oh, really… I didn't know. Really? They do call me that?

We are not enemies but we are not friends. We've never been friends. We have never had any friendship connection in the past. Ever since I got into Nollywood, we've never been friends. We are just colleagues and to call me her enemy, I don't think I'm her enemy and I'm sure she doesn't think I'm her enemy. So, we are good."

The comedian revealed that Asa will be in Lagos this year for her highly anticipated concert, Asa live in Lagos.

The songstress, who is based in France will be treating guests to a wholesome experience of fine music and ambience on May 8, 2022.

Nkem Owoh ‘Osuofia’ Celebrates 64th Birthday

Veteran Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh popularly known as Osuofia due to the character he played in the award-winning comedy movie Osuofia in London clocks 64 today.

The actor who is yet to post any pictures has however reposted congratulatory posts made by his fans, colleagues and followers on his Instagram stories.

Osuofia who has carved a niche for himself, especially as a comic actor, made the childhood of many Nigerian youths today.

Born in Udi, Enugu state, Owoh studied engineering at the University of Ilorin, where he also began acting in various television and film productions.

In late 80s, Owoh featured in the screen version of Chinua Achebe's novel Things Fall Apart, a classic TV drama alongside Pete Edochie.

He has acted in over 100 movies including Osuofia in London (2003), which is considered as one of the most prominent in his career and earned him Best actor in a lead role award from the African movie academy awards (AMAA). Owoh who got married in 1998, is blessed with 2 children.

One of Owoh's latest movies is Chief Daddy: Going for Broke (2021) where he played the character, Shoffa Donatus.

Angel who described herself as 'best in beauty'  disclosed in a tweet on Saturday night that fans tried to convince her that she is ugly.

Angel the thought made her feel dizzy.

Femi Kuti, a veteran Afrobeat singer and eldest son of Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Kuti, has revealed the reason why he would want his body to be cremated.

According to the 59 year old musician, he wouldn't like a big burial ceremony but a simple ceremony and would prefer his body to be cremated.

The sensational musician and the grandchild of political campaigner, Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti had stated on Saturday during his performance at the New Africa Shrine.

He said:

"When I die, please cremate me, burn my body. It is the most hygienic way. This comes following claims from a controversial Instagram blogger who alleged that the duo were having a thing together, adding that Timaya wants out.

Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko has recounted how tough her childhood days were and the hurdles she passed through.

The curvy actress made this disclosure during an interview with Saturday Beats where she opened up on how her father got into trouble at his workplace.

Dramadoll who admitted that growing up wasn't easy for her, revealed that her father worked as a headmaster, and at some point he got a job as a treasurer in a firm.

According to her, her father was sent to deposit money in the bank and got robbed on his way. The company insisted he pay back every dime while accusing him of theft; a tragedy that negatively affected them as a family.

Woman laments after friend obtain a loan using her BVN and account number

A lady identified as Queen Lolo recounts how a friend defrauded her by using her BVN and account number to obtain a loan from NIRSAL LOAN under the guise of COVID-19 money.

In her words:

"Pls I need help on what to do. I can't pay for the money I didn't eat ooo
Last year march 2021, a very good friend came to my house and told me that federal government is given out covid 19 funds to people I asked her how much she said #400.000k then i asked her is it a loan? She said NO. Then I said how can that be just like that,she showed me the money in her account that she has collected and all her family members and some friends have collected theirs too.

Then she said that she needed my account number and bvn, I didn't buy the idea but she convinced me being my friend.

Fast forward to July 2021 I got an alert of #379, 200.00. Imediately there was alot calls coming into my phone that the money have entered I said yes not the amount they told which is #400,000k, then my friend told me that bank collected #20800k.

She also told me to send #130,000k to the agent that worked out the money then I asked her again I hope this is not a loan, she said NO that she can't deceive me. I became afraid and sent only #120,000k, my friend called me and told to sent the remaining#10,000k which I did and I also give my friend #5000k. The only money I eat out of it #245,200.00 which am ready to pay back.

Three days ago I got a message from NIRSAL microfinance bank to start repayment on the loan I took .. hmmm I become surprised because I never heard about NIRSAL LOAN and It was when I researched about the bank that I found out I was lied to and also scammed. Please what do I do in this situation ..not only me we are many they collected bvn and accts.

How do I go about this pls."

Solid Star – Why I Regret Fighting Cab Driver

Following a viral video of him fighting with a cab driver on the street, singer, Joshua Iniyezo, popularly known as Solid Star, has apologised.

Days ago the singer shocked many when he engaged in a scuffle with a cab driver. Solid Star broke one of the cab's windows with his foot.

However, in an interview with Saturday Beats, Solid Star stated that he had been unhappy with the negative comments that trailed the incident. He said, "My management is ready to buy a new glass to replace the one that was broken during the scuffle. However, that driver ran away with my phone. I am still looking for him in order to get my iPhone because I have so many documents on it. Unfortunately for him, he cannot use the phone. No one but me can use the phone. But, by taking it away, he has deprived me of a whole lot. Since the news of the incident broke, I have tried my best to take my mind off it. I have not been happy with some negative comments which followed the event. I apologise to everyone, especially my fans, concerning the incident. I was in a hurry to get to the airport and the cab driver was delaying me. I was so concerned about not missing my flight. I am not a violent person and I don't have anger issues.
