A Twitter user has recounted how a man got his heart broken after he helped his girlfriend get a job and even took a loan to throw her a party.

According to the Twitter user Identified with the handle, @michael_mickyt, the heartbroken man helped his girlfriend who had been job hunting for years secure a job, after which she told him she'd fallen for someone else and wants to end the relationship.

The tweep futher stated that the man had gotten a loan to throw her a party –a loan which he is still yet to repay.

The Twitter user also revealed that the lady's new lover is a guy from her place of work which the heartbroken boyfriend had helped her to get.

The post read:

"One of my guy is currently going through heartbreak, he helped his babe to get a job after years of searching. One month into the job and she has fallen in love with someone else and ended the relationship. The only thing paining me from the whole gist is that he borrowed money

Ex-husband of Mercy Aigbe, Olanrewaju Gentry has faulted his former wife's claim and affirmed that the latter was friends with her new husband, Kazeem Adeoti's first wife, Oluwafunso.

Olanrewaju Gentry's reaction follows Mercy's continuous insistence that Oluwafunso was never her friend at any point in time.

In an interview with Punch, Gentry whose marriage to Mercy crashed in 2017, said: "I do not blame Mercy. The blame should be on Adeoti's first wife for bringing Mercy into her family. People like Funso who love to follow actresses (about) in a bid to make friends with them need to be very careful.

"It is dangerous to bring a person whom you do not know into your home simply because the person is a celebrity. In all honesty, Funso and Mercy were friends. She (Funso) was the one who invited Mercy and I to her husband's 40th birthday celebration some years back.

"Mercy Aigbe knows within herself that what she did to Funso and her family is very bad. It was Mercy that told me her friend was organizing a surprise birthday for her husband and we were invited.

"Unlike what many are saying, my son, Olanrewaju, was not five months old at the time, he was over a year old. We attended the event, and that was the first time I met Adeoti and his wife. Funso, who was Mercy's friend at the time, introduced Adeoti to Mercy and I. After that, Adeoti used to come to my home, office, and hotel. Mercy later told me they were working together and that he was her marketer. I was 100 percent sure that Mercy and Adeoti were seeing (dating) each other, and I used to tell her that what she was doing was very bad.

"I am a socialite, and I definitely know when something (intimate) is going on between a man and a woman. I really don't want to be involved in this issue because I have remarried, and I respect my (new) wife. People should learn to handle their homes properly and stay away from strange friends.

"I said I was going to get married last year and I did. We did our traditional and court wedding on September 11, 2021. We now have a baby girl and she looks very much like Olajuwon, whom some have claimed may not be my biological son. A man who was sneaking to have sexual intercourse with another man's wife cannot have the guts to request for a DNA test. Online skincare sellers boast of products that can cure every skincare problem and market the products so aggressively you might be tempted to try them out just for curiosity's sake.

When it comes to aggressively marketing products, endorsing Big Brother Naija stars and Nollywood celebrities they do it so well, but here are some things they get wrong;

1. Advertising skincare products with full makeup
When you have makeup on and advertise skincare products, one wonders why you have no confidence in your product. We ought to see their natural skin and complexion.

One popular skincare seller used two Big Brother Naija alumni and one of them had full makeup on and even fixed eyelashes. Amazing.

2. Advertising skincare products with filters
This is a close cousin of makeup, those who use filters also leave us wondering what they are trying to hide if their products are so good.

3. Using other people's pictures and intellectual property
In a bid to show that their product works, they use someone's picture who probably had their skin fixed by another product and steal their intellectual property.

4. Using only light-skinned celebs to endorse their product
Using only light-skinned celebrities will translate to sales because they provide publicity, but it is just disingenuous.

We know how the celebrities' skin was before using your product. The products did not make them lighter or have a more even skin tone and if it did, show us how transformation happened.

5. Not telling us what they used to make their products
Listing out the ingredients is essential. This will help people understand skincare better and even know if they are allergic to some of the ingredients in the product or if the products are harmful.

Finally skincare vendors should make a more conscious effort to be dermatogically accurate.

Steaming the vagina actually does a lot more harm than good!

It's not uncommon to see ladies 'steam the vagina' to get it to 'smell nice', 'keep it good shape' and generally 'cleanse it'! Some ladies even go as far as sticking things into it or diluting the hot water (steam) with herbs and more to 'clean it inside out' but it's time to stop!

The vagina is self cleansing so there's usually no need to overly clean it! The vagina restores its own PH balance all by itself meaning even soaps especially perfumed/scented/medicated should not be used on it. It's best cleansed with water (and to go the extra mile with very mild soap)

A lot of ladies sit of steam usually mixed with antiseptic and others to cleanse the vagina and the uterus inside out, more like a steam douche on the vagina which many ladies believe help balance the vagina PH/hormone level but it's not true.

There are two great reasons to stay away from vagina steaming:

1. Destroying Vagina's 'Good Bacteria'
Steaming the vagina can entirely disrupt the hormonal balance and the natural bacteria in that region. There are 'good bacteria' necessary to cleanse the vagina and when their functions are disrupted this could result in imbalances and even infections.

Clean the vagina with water and in extreme cases mild, unscented soap, NEVER douche. Eat more yoghurt, fruits et al to keep the area smelling fresh and retain the good bacteria.

2. Burn
Since steaming the vagina requires hot water steam, there's every tendency to burn oneself and that's not even the heat felt while sitting over the steam!

The vagina can be burned while steaming and this goes past the physical as it could get so bad that the lining between the bladder and rectum (where the vagina sits right next to) and can cause a whole lot of serious health issues.

To ensure a clean and nice smelling vagina, toss tight pants, tame pubic hair, wear more cotton down there to allow the vagina breathe, never use anything perfumed down there and keep it clean all the time by rinsing with water.

At their humble genesis, apps like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, were all once just photo sharing and text messaging apps, but now, their utilization has evolved into something more.

Social media has been a crucial element in society's evolution over the last two decades. While a lot of praise can be attributed to these digital platforms, and their relevance to social, cultural and political advancement, certain criticisms of social media remain valid as we speak today. Nonetheless, every day, enlightened individuals continue to call out these crude and backwards models that still manage to thrive across the timelines; Whether it is regarding beauty, lifestyle, fashion, or politics,

It is 2022, and everyone is intentional about what they create and consume, in alignment with an agenda or another, whether they realize it or not. However, this construct was a ripple effect of a famous movement back in 2018 themed as "Make Instagram casual again". This was after Instagram shifted from an app that centred on capturing casual moments in people's lives in the mid-2010s to becoming a hub for aesthetic pleasing grids, and a $13.8billion pot for a booming influencer market as of 2021. To maintain balance within its user community, and limit the impacts of influencer culture, certain adjustments had to be executed. For example, Instagram took down the visibility of the number of likes, YouTube removed the visibility of the dislike count and other changes that would make it easy so the apps could still seem more casual for a certain demographic of internet users who preferred it so for certain reasons.

Yet, despite the modifications made by these platforms, it seems highly unlikely that we will ever return to that era in which what most users wanted to do was send a text, or share a moment with their minimal sum of followers.

Back in the early 2010s, Social media used to be casual, but this is 2022. The fast-paced evolution has led to the derogation of this casual construct, reshaped social media which have become so fundamentally crucial to collective existence especially considering the enormous financial potential for creators is on the rise. Everybody wants a slice of the cake. Most users creating a new Instagram, TikTok, or Twitter account, do so to create awareness for their businesses, activism on socio-political issues such as racial prejudice, climate change, pride, mental health and more. Other creators take to social media just for the liberty to express themselves, their talent in a desire to make it in the music or film industries. And there is another set of users who use social media as a means to escape reality.

Church members took off as pastor suddenly runs away while preaching

Pastor I.D, a popular pastor, pulled a joke on his audience during worship service to send a clear message about 'fear.'

The pastor, who was preaching from a chapter in the bible about a Christian not being scared, abruptly ran to lure them to run as well, as could be seen in a video uploaded by TV host Teju Babyface.

The church members who were puzzled suddenly took to their heels without waiting to find out why the pastor had run away.
He called them back, telling them it was only a prank to illustrate his point.

Moments bike men saved a man who tried to commit suicide by jumped over Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge

Some bikemen allegedly prevented a man from executing suiciiidde as he tried to jump off the Ikoyi Link Bridge in Lekki, Lagos state.

The young man, who is yet to be identified, was being detained by two men believed to be okada riders who observed him leaping over the bridge from distance, in a video that has gone viral online.

Despite their best efforts to save him, the man still desired to be freed to complete the heinous act, but he was restrained by the okada men.

Passersby noticing what is going on, rushed to assist the okada men to restrict the young man from executing the act.

Kemi Olunloyo tells Korra’s husband, Justin following cheating allegation – “Get a DNA test for the new baby”

Investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has given her opinion on Korra's marital crisis while issuing a piece of sensitive advice to the dancer's husband, Justin Dean.

Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie has showered praises on her daughter, Purity over her recent achievement.

Taking to Instagram, the movie star disclosed that Purity left Nigeria for Dubai to represent her school in swimming at the World School Games in Dubai.

According to her, although her daughter didn't come first, she's optimistic that she'll do greater than her. She added that things she never dreamt of achieving as a child are already being achieved by the damsel.

A peep at the scoreboard in the video she shared showed that Purity came third.

An enraged bank customer has disrupted banking activities as she demanded for her money.

The lady who lamented that she's been asking them to resolve her issues for sometime now, but all to no avail.

She stated that 'they' took her money, about N100k and she had repeatedly called the bank for refund and they kept telling her to wait for 24hrs which has snowballed to a month now.

Taking matters into her hands, she resolved to interfer with bankers' ability to serve other customers.
The clearly frustrated woman explained that bankers were forcing her to go through processes that rarely end in the desired outcome.

She disrupted the activities of any bank worker she saw serving a customer.

Controversial human rights activist and prolific writer, Reno Omokri has averred that there is no woman behind every successful man.

According to him, the proverb is a lie. He believes that what is behind a successful man are countless of years of unsuccessful years.

Reno stated that if the successful man had focused on women, his current success wouldn't have been realized.

She revealed that she's diagnosed with Lupus and stated that she has already spent a lot of money managing it because it cannot be treated.

The man who had bought some litres of fuel had graciously given the dollar bill to the ignorant fuel reseller who didn't recognize the currency and outrightly rejected it.

Popular reality star, Kola Oburoh a.k.a Omashola, celebrates his newborn baby at two months old as he unveils future plans for his son.

This comes days after the reality star's mother left fans emotional following the bath of the newborn baby in oil and herbs.

Taking to Instagram, the proud father listed the path to greatness that he wants for his son, including marriage to a Forbes-level girlfriend.

"Eyitemi is 2months old today, just now now, very soon he will start school and join a football academy and focus on winning the World Cup for Nigeria, get a Forbes level girlfriend and make babies, 🤤 growing too fast.. I'm going to be a grandpa pretty soon 🤦🏽‍♂️

Popular dancer, Korra Obidi has finally reacted in respect to her husband's call for a divorce a few days after welcoming their second child.

Recall that Dr Justin Dean raised eyebrows on social media after announcing that him and Korra were up to a divorce.

While everyone thought it was a prank, he went on to affirm that it was real.

However, in a recent Facebook live video, the mother of two who acted undisturbed did not go straight to feed itching ears.


But towards the end of the first live video, she disclosed that she'll be 100% committed in taking care of herself and her kids. She also thanked the public for reaching out to her during these trying times.
