Davido's driver, Tunde, has shared his transformation from being a police officer to becoming the singer's chauffeur.

BBNaija star, Victoria Adeyele also known as Vee, is in mourning as she has lost her grandfather whom she referred to as 'my favorite man'.

Vee took to her Instagram story to make the announcement as she emphasised that she will miss her grandfather a lot.

In her eulogy, the reality TV star mentioned that despite his death, she is comforted with the fact that 'heaven is his home now.' She wrote:

"MY FAVOURITE MAN! I'M NOT SAD BECAUSE HEAVEN IS YOUR HOME NOW, I JUST WISH WE HAD MORE TIME TOGETHER. I'M GONNA MISS YOU SO MUCH, GRANDAD."

Nigerian musical ace, David Adeleke a.k.a Davido, is calling for prayers for his country following his experience with the authorities.

The ace singer a made the calls while lamenting the huge amount he paid to clear his new Lamborghini that recently arrived the country.

On Twitter, he wrote: "U don't even wanna know how much I just payed to clear my lambo… Pray for Nigeria … Jesus."


Mixed reactions from his fans, however, shrouded the comment section of the twitter post.

Davido promise N20M giveaway to 20 people for business support

Afrobeat star, David Adeleke, better known as Davido is set to put smiles on the faces of 20 people by supporting their business ideas with N20M.

The Champion Sound crooner who gave out his birthday donations of N200M alongside an extra amount of N50M from his personal funds last year to orphanages is about to repeat something similar to that owing to the hardship in the country.

Taking to his Twitter handle, OBO revealed that N20M would be shared among 20 people while urging the masses to send in their business or start-up ideas.

He wrote:

Singer, Innocent Idibia builds multimillion naira music studio for Obafemi Awolowo University

Highly-rated crooner, Innocent Idibia, better known as Tuface has built and commissioned a music studio in Obafemi Awolowo University.

The veteran music star revealed that he was once honoured by the school by being inducted into the school of music as a Fellow.

He therefore made his presence felt by erecting a music studio in the school. He further disclosed that Benue State University would be next.

A man identified as Hallmark Chibuzor Paul on Facebook has narrated how his bosom friend poisoned his drink a few days back.

According to him, the incident occurred on Sunday night, 13th April and he began to stool blood. He affirmed that if not for God and his mother, he would have been dead.

Pathologist reveals what he found in late Sylvester Oromoni’s stomach

A medical doctor, Clement Vhirterhire, has alleged that a chocolate-coloured- material was found in the late Sylvester Oromoni's stomach.

According to Clement, late Sylvester Oromoni Jnr died of pneumonia leading to sepsis.

Vhirterhire narrated his findings before Coroner Magistrate Mikhail Kadiri, who was conducting an inquest to unravel the cause of Oromoni Junior's death.

He said,

"I expect to see clear evidence of beating as to the cause of death.

Upon physical examination of the body, externally looking at the body I did not see any open injury.

I should be seeing evidence of significant bleeding in the abdominal cavity, by the time I opened these cavities, I did not see signs of beating.

Your Honour, I can't remember getting information of the boy being beaten with any instrument. I did not see any evidence of ruptured internal organs."

He said he called Mr. Oromoni to tell him his findings, and explained, "At that point, the father said, "In the process of being beaten that he was forced to drink a substance."

"At that point, without such information but in the middle, I thought he might have ingested something.

"I opened the stomach, what I saw in the stomach was a chocolate- coloured-material."

Blind man who can use a computer gets scholarship in Canada

A man has defied odds and triumphed over a hurdle that some people with visual impairments confront when traversing the world.

Through perseverance and determination, Paul Okpanachi was awarded a scholarship to continue his studies in Canada.

Samuel Ayankoso, a companion of Paul's, sent Legit a note about how the two met at the American University in Cairo (AUC), Egypt, when Paul was on a scholarship.

During their post-graduate studies, Samuel's companion, Paul, who is a graduate of Kogi State University, was highly encouraging, according to Samuel.

With the help of a smart screen reader, he told Legit that Paul could even use a computer.

Samuel said:

"Before Paul left Nigeria in 2018 for his studies at AUC, he was an investigative journalist with the Kogi State news agency, and those at his workplace didn't want him to come for his masters. Yet, their salaries were not paid consistently by the Yahaya Bello government."

Paul returned to Nigeria after graduating from the AUC with a 3.67 CGPA, where he has been having a lot of troubles; his family was raided one night by robbers, and he had to fend them off.

Samuel said:

"In fact, he has been a victim of the alarming insecurity in our country. This was what happened: Paul and his wife were robbed on a bad evening in front of their rented apartment in Abuja. They collected his wife's phone and despite being blind, he tried his best to push the guys away from collecting his own phone too. Thank God he was not shot or harmed in the process."

Paul's luck turned around as he secured a fully-funded scholarship to continue his studies in Canada.

Recall, days ago, the father of two announced on Instagram that he'd be divorcing his wife, Korra whom he referred to as a "narcissist".

Nigerian Lady arrested for sharing kegs of petrol as souvenir at a party

The main suspect, who handed out kegs of fuel as souvenirs at a party on Victoria Island's Havilah Events Centre on March 4, 2022, has been apprehended and prosecuted.

It can be recalled that the Lagos State government had released a statement which deplored the act, describing it as unsafe and hazardous to human lives.

According to a statement released by CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, the state police command's head of communications, the suspect, Ogbulu Chidinma Pearl, was arraigned on March 14, on a multiple charge of conduct likely to cause a breach of peace, risking human life by distributing flammable matter in a large event, intent to do damage to another, and wrongfully carrying on the business of distributing combustible matter in a large event.




The lady was, however, granted bail. The case is adjourned to 24th March.

Popular media figure, OAP "Toolz" Oniru-Demuren has described men who feel threatened by a woman's achievement as primitive.

The OAP had said this in response to a clip in which the presenters of the Hardly Initiated podcast, Tysean Jackson and Ryan Catchings, suggested that women who earn a lot aren't alluring to guys.

The presenters of the show had invited Philip Karaya, a finance to speak about business to their listeners.

One of the presenters claimed that women who are accomplished in their occupations are less appealing.

In the presenter's word:

"I had a woman tell me: 'I got a good job, I make very, very good money and the only thing I need now is a man,' But who wants you? Like, who wants you? If you have achieved these things, you have unfortunately disqualified yourself"

Music executive and businessman Ubi Franklin has responded to the leaked WhatsApp conversation he had with his child's mother, Sandra Iheuwa.

WN earlier reported that Ubi in the leaked audio message recalled how  he warned Sandra to leave her estranged husband, Steve Thompson who he said is "useless and has the capacity to sleep" with Sandra's children.
