Kim Kardashian declared legally single

Kim filed for divorce from Kanye West in Feb 2021.

American reality TV star Kim Kardashian has been declared officially single from her former husband Kanye West.

The mother of four was declared single by Los Angeles' Superior Court Judge Steve Cochran on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

Kim appeared in the court ruling via a video conference call, PageSix reported.

She was asked by the judge several questions under oath including if she wanted to change her name back.

She responded by saying 'Yes.'

Kardashian also responded "Yes" when the judge asked if there was a breakdown in the marriage.

"After the judge read the questions and told her she now has her single status back, Kim smiled," PageSix also reported.

Kanye's lawyer said his client had no objections to the name change but was more interested in the assets and interest.

While Kim's lawyer objected to her client's trust being frozen, arguing that the reality TV mogul uses the trust for her business. The judge sided with Kardashian's team on this issue.

Kim and Kanye's official divorce news first broke in February 2021.

This came weeks after speculations about their marriage collapse.

Kim and Kanye have four children: North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2.

Like many Nigerians, Nollywood actress and fitness enthusiast, Kate Henshaw is obviously frustrated over the lingering fuel scarcity in the country.

The actress who lamented that no one cares, averred that the President who is the petroleum minister has jetted out to take care of himself. She acknowledged that fuel scarcity has lingered in the country for over a month, and also went on to list some of the excuses given by the government.

Henshaw stated that it is time Nigerians take their destiny into their hands as things are really bad in the country. She also pointed out that while there's no "petrol outside, there's also no electricity inside."

The actress further asked Nigerians to get their PVC and not listen to people who say votes don't count. According to her, if votes don't count, politicians won't pay people to vote for them or steal PVCs to get votes.

Davido’s Siblings Arrive In London for his O2 Arena Concert

Ahead of his March 5 concert at the 02 Arena, Nigerian singer, Davido, on Thursday welcomed his siblings to London.

The excited singer, who has been in London for a days, released a picture of himself and three of his family members on his Instagram story.

Davido posed with his sister, Sharon Adeleke-Ademefun; his cousin, Ayoola Adeleke; and Ayoola's wife, Jessica.

In the picture's caption, he wrote, "Siblings have started landing; @iamayooladeleke @lifeofrona01 and Jess."

Also, one of Davido's baby mama, Chioma Rowland, and their son, Ifeanyi, would also be attending the concert.

A Nigerian music executive, Ubi Franklin, shared pictures of himself, Chioma and Ifeanyi in a private jet.

On his Instagram story on Thursday, Franklin said that Davido sent a private jet to pick them up.

"London, we are coming. Davido sent us a jet" he wrote in the caption.

The award-winning singer first announced his concert at the O2 Arena in September 2021.

The If crooner first performed at the London O2 Arena in January 2019 where he boasted of selling out the 20,000 capacity auditorium.

However, Wizkid was the first Nigerian to headline a show at the O2 Arena in 2018, where he also sold out the venue.

Burna Boy also performed at the O2 Arena in August 2021 after his Grammy win.

A lady who claims to have witnessed the alleged hit-and-run accident involving singer, Timaya and another lady has spoken up.

Recall that news about the singer hitting a lady with his car, thereby causing her to sustain severe injuries in Ikate, Lagos State and taking off made rounds on social media lately.

Video footage of the moment the crooner was arrested also surfaced recently.

However, a lady who is believed to have seen how it all happened recounted how Timaya drove off his G-Wagon while the lady was still holding his side-mirror.

She went on to rain curses on the veteran music star by invoking punishments from God even if he pays for damages.

Police Arrest Timaya Amidst hit-and-run report

Veteran singer, Inetimi Alfred Odon, known best as Timaya was accused on Wednesday of hitting a lady with his car.

Reports state that the singer drove of despite knowing what he had done.

Several attempts made by the victim's sister, identified with the handle whyte_26, to contact Timaya were futile. The singer went ahead to even block the victim's sister who had messaged him on Instagram.

The victim is reported to have sustained serious wounds on her body after the accident and is currently hospitalized.

Recent viral video captured the singer being picked up by some Policemen in what appears to be his house.

Reactions as student is spotted using a loud blender in class, in U.K

A young man was recently spotted using a very loud blender in a class, in United kingdom while lecture was on going.

The young man was seen blending an unknown substance, interrupting what the lecturer was saying.

After he was done, the lecturer could be heard calmly telling the young student that it was discourteous for him to do that without first obtaining his permission.

The young man apologized and asked if he could blend again to which the lecturer agreed.

Although a lot of people consider what the student did to be rude, netizens have hailed the lecturers equanimity despite what the student did, saying that can never happen in Nigeria.

An IG user had illuminated how unusual it seems for Burna Boy's name to dominate in show poster which had the likes of Timaya, Flavour and 2baba's names .

Nigeria Man wrestles police officers to the ground who insisted on extorting him despite having his complete car papers

A video making the rounds on social media captures a young man engaged in a violent altercation with some armed Policemen who attempted to extort money from him.

His car was halted by cops at Iyana Ipaja in Lagos state, according to sources, and the policemen had requested to see his papers.

They tried to extort him even after it was determined that the car documentation were in place, but he remained firm and refused to be intimidated.

As could be seen from the viral clip, a lady who was with the young man could be heard yelling at the policeman close to the car.

One of the law enforcement officers took the phone from the young man's grip, and he became aggressive with them in an attempt to regain it.

A lady identified as whyte26 on Instagram has called out singer, Timaya for allegedly hitting his sister with his car, and running away afterwards.

Narrating what allegedly transpired at the scene of the accident, she said,

"This celebrity and how they behave. Timaya nearly killed my sister this morning. He hit her with his car and ran away.

He hit my sister's car. She came down to ask him to look at what he did. This heartless human was asking for number.

Recall that news about the death of the heir apparent of Ikate Kingdom went viral on 28th February and was undoubtedly a big blow to the King and his household.

The Prince had just clocked a year and seven months prior to his premature demise.

Reacting the actor begged President Muhammadu Buhari to set Kanu free..

Kanayo, in a video on his Instagram page, made the plea while celebrating his 60th birthday

He said he's saddened by the loss of lives and insecurity in the South East and begged Buhari to use his executive power to release Kanu.

Man broke down in tears after finding his mother who went missing from psychiatric hospital

A Nigerian man who recently cried out on social media after his mother went missing at a psychiatric hospital, has shared an update on the case.

In a new video which surfaced the internet, the heartbroken man revealed that his mother has now been found.

Unfortunately, he also lamented over the fact that his mother has injuries all over her body including her head and her leg.

Recall, days ago, the young man explained that his brother had taken their mother who suffers from dementia to the facility to seek medical attention before she went missing.

According to him, the mother, Isioma John, had been living with the condition for a while but for lack of money, she was kept at home while her children worked hard to gather money for her treatment.

He said the family was glad that a cure had been found for the mother's condition but unfortunately, she went missing.

According to her, the driver of the vehicle died in the auto-crash and she was told by the doctor that her leg ought to be amputated because it was infected.

She however rendered thanks to God for the healing so far as she still has her both legs despite what the doctor initially told her.

The lady who maintained a smiling face despite her condition stated that she will forever be grateful to God for preserving her life and miraculously healing her even when a part of her body seemed condemned.

Popular instagram comedian, Lasisi Elenu has taken to his Instagram to announce the passing on of his mother, Grace Afolabi.

Lasisi stated that his mum had struggled with an undisclosed illness.

He wrote:

"So this is truly how it feels to lose someone so precious to you. This is the saddest moment of my life.

"With so much pain and a heavy heart, I say Rest In Peace Mummy. Madam Grace Osaivbie Afolabi is gone! You were my biggest fan.

"You laughed at the littlest things I did or said, even after you couldn't control your laughs. There were still so many things I knew, 'Yeah this would naturally make mummy laugh'.

Damn you were strong, too strong, You fought sickness for so long. You fought and gave all you could. The world was so unfair to you for so long. You battled illness for too long.

"Times you ought to have spent in joy and celebration with your family, you spent fighting for your life.

No one ever truly knows the pain we all go through individually even while fronting a smile to the public. Mama Itohan was a strong woman, she was sick for so many years and I lost her to death

Damn you death. I wished she enjoyed life more, not in sickness and pain But in sound health. The last one month was too tough on YOU. YOU went through so much pain in the hospital and the last words YOU kept saying each time YOU managed to talk was. 'I want to go home'.

A Nigerian lady identifed with the Twitter handle @burnt_lodo has recounted how she went on a date with man who bought her a malt drink gave her directives on how to take the drink.

In her words: "One time, I went on a date with this guy and he bought me malt and said – Be drinking it small small. We will be talking for long, I want to know more about you."

Pastor David Ibiyeomie – “No woman loves a poor man”

Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries says no woman loves a poor man, and that whenever a woman claims to love a man, it is because he has money.

He added that even in the family, whenever a wife declares her undying love for her husband, it is largely due to his ability to provide for the family.

Speaking during a sermon on Sunday according to reports, Pastor Ibiyeomie was quoted as saying: "There is no man who is mature who doesn't want to marry. It's poverty, if you have money, won't you marry? So, you know that God has wonderful plans for you but Satan said No! No job, no contract, no nothing, then you're still looking. Fight and say this is not the plan, I can't be this mature and not get married, we have Bachelors we have Manchelors and we have Pachelors.

"Bachelors is in his 20s, if you are between 25 and 40 and you're not married you're a Manchelor, you have become a man and you're not married. If you're above 40 you have become a Pachelor. There are some Pachelors who are not married not because they don't want to marry but because there is no money. No finance, there will be no romance, have you seen any woman who says I love a man without money, not one, I have not seen a woman who loves a man who is broke.

"No woman loves a poor man, they say don't mind that yeye man, when you see a woman saying yeye man, I like the man but the way the man loves me, it's a lie, the love is with money.
