Comedian Debo Adedayo breaks down clears air about why the lady he fell in love with rejected him

Nigerian comedian, Debo Adedayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, has revealed why his 'first love' rejected his advances.

Sharing his experience, Mr Macaroni recounted how he put in so much effort to please her, and even went to the extent of learning her language.

However, according to Debo, the lady turned down his advances, as she reiterated that he is too stubborn for a man.
Debo wrote,

"I remember the first girl I fell in love with in University. Beautiful Hausa babe like this. Because of her I was learning ina son Ki… She still no gree for me. She say I too stubborn 😭"

Yung6ix involved in a ghastly car accident

Popular rapper Onome Onokohwomo, better known as Yung6ix recently got involved in an accident in the United States.

The 32-year-old rapper uploaded a video of himself being taken away by a medical personnel in a hospital gurney on his social media.

Although the reason or cause of the accident or how it happened is as yet unknown.

Netizens empathized while stating that since he's still making a video of himself after the accident, it means it wasn't a fatal one.

Pastor Adeboye’s son, Leke, lashes out at erring RCCG pastors – “You are a goat”

The son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG, Leke Adeboye has slammed the pastors of the church.

All RCCG preachers are asked to connect with their National Headquarters on Thanksgiving Sunday, which is normally slated for first Sunday of every month, wherein the General Overseer, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, would deliver a sermon. Pastor Adebayo's sermon is supposed to be the only one delivered on that particular Sunday.

But, in other church parishes, some preachers go on and give their own sermons after the General Overseer has delivered his own sermon for 30 to 45 minutes.

Frowning at such, the son of the GO has taken to social media to tackle the pastors.

He wrote:

"Why would you go and preach another sermon after, Daddy GO has just finished speaking and preaching. You are not a son, you are a goat sir.

Next Thanksgiving service, just do altar call, then Thanksgiving."

Following Wizkid's double Grammy loss, Nigerians have dug out an old tweet of the singer where he stated that he doesn't care about awards.

According to Wizkid, he sees it as a bunch of 'peeps' putting together a show.

Wizkid added that he doesn't post about nominations or talk about it because he doesn't care.

He tweeted,

"I don't post about nominations or talk about awards cos I don't really care to be honest. Just a bunch of peeps putting together a show!".

Davido Celebrates Release Of Cubana Chief Priest From EFCC Custody – “My Bestie Is Free”

Davido has reacted to the release of his bestie and celebrity barman, Pascal Okechukwu, aka Cubana Chief Priest from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

Davido disclosed via his Instagram story that his best friend is free.

Cubana Chief Priest was arrested for alleged money laundering and tax fraud. He was whisked at the Lagos airport on Thursday last week.

The anti-graft agency confirmed his arrest, but refused to give details.

Speaking after his release, the celebrity barman took to his Instagram, saying he has been tested okay by the EFCC.

He wrote;

"EFCC tested Ok,Thank You family, I will never forget. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, make Una resend all my birthday wishes."

Two young men were spotted in a video exchanging blows after arguing over the two sensational superstar singers, Davido and Wizkid.

The two who were spotted exchanging ferocious blows in their room were probably arguing over the just concluded Grammy in which Afrobeat singer, Wizkid lost both of his nominations while Davido had been featured on FIFA 2022 sound track.

The two young men who had been arguing over the two singers couldn't contain their anger anymore as the argument deteriorated into a fist fight.

American rapper, Montero Lamar Hill, known by his stage name Lil Nas X, has informed his fans that he has quit being a gay after losing in every category he was nominated in at the 2022 Grammy Awards.

The outspoken "Industry Baby" singer, took to his official Twitter page to make the information public.

Nigerians on social media have slammed the myriad of critics attacking ace singer, Wizkid for not winning a Grammy Award last night.

This is following a revelation by American rapper, Snoop Dogg, who has 19 Grammy nominations without a win.

On Facebook, @Jade Fades wrote: "Not winning a Grammy does not mean you are not a great artist..Tupac, Nicki and others haven't win any. Nobody has a reason to attack Wizkid because he didn't win. Shame on them."


Ridiculing words making the rounds allege that the Nigerian superstar, Wizkid didn't win because he failed to congratulate his colleague, Davido, on his recent feat.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, Snoop Dogg who was arguably a Grammy Award potential in his prime, sarcastically thanked the organizers of the awards for nominating him 19 times without a win.


"Y'all have fun at the Grammys…19… I guess I'm 0 for 19," he said, referring to his 19 nominations since his solo rap career started in the early '90s.

Wale – “Wizkid’s Essence should have won multiple Grammy Awards”

Nigerian-American rapper, Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, better known by his stage name Wale, is of the opinion that Essence, a hit song by Nigerian superstar, Wizkid, should have bagged multiple awards at the 64th Grammys.

Wale's submission is coming amid controversies surrounding Wizkid's failure to win an award at the ceremony despite being among the nominees for Best Global Music Performance category.

On Twitter, Wale wrote: "Essence should have multiple Grammys."


In light of this, many opinions from the rapper's fans shared the same view, noting that Wizkid's album, Made In Lagos, which earned the singer his second Grammy nomination should have at least won an award.
