Apply today for BSOS Summer/Fall 2022 Undergraduate Experience Funds!

These funds assist undergraduate BSOS majors engaged in experiential learning outside the classroom, such as unpaid internships, research, service-learning, and professional or academic virtual conferences. The funds are intended to help offset expenses related to such activities including, but not limited to; 
  • travel/transportation expenses
  • professional attire
  • opportunity costs, (i.e. the need to give up a part-time paid job in order to take an unpaid internship.)
  • software/technology, material needs, not provided by employer/University, but essential to the experience.
  • conference fees

If you are a BSOS student with financial need that is preventing you from taking advantage of an unpaid opportunity, we encourage you to apply for BSOS Undergraduate Experience Funds.

The best consideration date for Summer/Fall 2022 experience applications is Wednesday, June 1, 2022, by 11:59 PM. Funding will be allocated on a rolling basis, based on the availability of funds. This application will close on Friday, September 9, 2022, by 11:59 PM or when funding for Summer/Fall 2022 experiences has been exhausted.
