Buhari Wade Into Stem Defection of 22 Aggrieved APC Senators

Posted: 29 Jun 2022 04:52 AM PDT

Image: This Day Live

On Wednesday, President Buhari called the 22 Aggrieved APC Senators in a bid to stop them from defecting to another party.

At a meeting with the aggrieved lawmakers at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja, the affected senators present at the meeting include Smart Adeyemi, Frank Ibezim, Danladi Sankara and Ibrahim Oloriegbe, led by the Senate Chief Whip, and Senator Orji Uzor-Kalu.

The meeting took place at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja. At the meeting, the President noted the senators' concerns who failed to secure the party's return ticket to the red chamber about the ruling party's future but praised their effort to find a solution.

President Buhari assured the senators that their role as leaders was to create an environment for members to vent their grievances.

The President, in his words:

I thank you for the decision to approach me with your concerns over the future of the party and for pursuing solutions approach for the challenges thrown up by the recent election-related activities particularly, the primaries.

As the leader of the party, one of my primary role is to ensure that our culture of internal democracy and dispute resolution is strengthened by creating the opportunity for members to ventilate their opinions, views and grievances at different levels.

Notwithstanding the fact that we have accomplished 23 years of an uninterrupted democratic governance, our journey is still in a nascent stage and we continue to learn from our challenges and mistakes.

Similarly, our party is still evolving in its culture and practice and it is my expectation and hope that we should attain a mature level in our internal conduct.

I have noted your grievances, particularly, as it concerns the just concluded processes, the cost to the nation, the threat to the majority position held by our party in the legislative chambers, and likely consequent causes to the electoral fortunes of the party as we approach the general election. We must not allow these dire threats to come to pass.

I must acknowledge that in every contest, there must be a level-playing ground, just as there would be grievances at the end. That is the test of our democratic credentials, systems and practices.

I have since the conclusion of the process been inundated with various reports and complaints. In keeping with our ethos, therefore, I shall continue to address the ensuing challenges and grievances through the party machinery while paying keen attention to the outcomes.

I must also remind you of the primacy of justice in all our actions. If justice is denied, its outcome is usually unpleasant. This is because you, the members, keep the party running.

I should add that as part of the policy of using the party machinery for effective resolutions of conflict, the chairman and some members of the National Working Committee visited the National Assembly recently to dialogue with our legislators.

The leadership of the party is currently addressing the outcomes as part of the way forward. I am encouraging all the party functionaries to adhere to the truth and to be fair to all parties in any dispute. This is important because our strength and victory in the election lies in the unity of the party and our ability to prevent or heal any injustice perceived unfair.

I urge you and all party members to exercise restraint and continue to demonstrate commitment to the ideals while we continue to build and develop the party and the country.

Finally, Let me assure you that justice shall prevail, aggrieved members shall be assuaged in the interest of the party and the nation shall be protected.

Gmail's new look will soon appear for more people by default

Posted: 29 Jun 2022 02:44 AM PDT

Image: Verge

Google began pushing an updated user interface for Gmail in February that pulls Meet, Chat and Spaces closer. However, Google said your account would automatically switch to the new view yesterday. Users shall begin to experience the default switch soon. It is more like a style change, not that it is such a big change. It weaves its Workspace suite into a better Office competitor, focusing more on the updated experiences.

The new user interface collects buttons for Mail, Meet, Spaces, and Chat, arranging them into one list at the top of the left rail rather than showing several conversations from each one in a list. Google has made the buttons more accessible without having everything on the screen simultaneously. With the new interface, you can seamlessly and in a flash move into a conversation in any one section as a list pop out when you hover your mouse over its icon.

Now, if you want any form of communication on screen without the other (like Gmail), it's a little easier since Chat and the others are not listed underneath your inboxes and labels anymore.

Users can choose the apps they wish to include in the Quick Settings menu based on Google's instructions. Users can easily switch to the old look if preferred in the Quick menu. Unlike the usual 15-day rollout for new features, Google says the rollout is an extended one. Hence, while it's coming to Workspace and personal Gmail accounts, it could take longer than a couple of weeks for your interface to change over on its own.

Users that wish to test it would be able to opt-in (and back out) from the quick settings menu right now, as long as the user has already switched to Chat from Hangouts and positioned Chat in the left-hand menu.

Fayemi, You Have 21 days to redeem your promise - Ekiti workers

Posted: 28 Jun 2022 09:58 PM PDT

Image: The Eagle Online

The workers of Ekiti State have issued a 21-day ultimatum to the government of Ekiti state within which to pay them their arrears or risk industrial action.

They complained that the non-payment of their entitlements had caused them unbearable hardship in the face of present harsh economic realities.

The workers using the platform of the Trade Union Congress also lamented the incessant kidnappings in the state and urged the state government and security agencies to hasten all they needed to do to stop the problem before it degenerates further.

In a communiqué signed by TUC State Chairman Sola Adigun and Secretary Yomi Peters, at the end of its meeting, the body gave Governor Kayode Fayemi 21 days to make good his promise to offset all arrears of payment before the expiration of his tenure in October.

Furthermore, the body listed their demands, including remittance of already deducted dues such as co-operative deductions, contributory pension bank loan repayment, and NHF fund to the appropriate quarters.

They complained bitterly that most of their members are yet to benefit from the new minimum wage after almost two years of implementation in the state. He called the government "to implement the minimum wage across the board for all workers without further delay."

In addition, he noted that the 2018-2019 promotion exercise was selectively implemented; hence, he asked the state government to immediately remunerate those exempted from the exercise.

Finally, the TUC also called out the State's Accountant-General due to her refusal to continue with co-operative savings of Ekiti workers due to the alleged presence of some syndicate operating in her office.

Dollar Is Now N615

Posted: 28 Jun 2022 09:28 PM PDT

Image: Paradise News

There seems not to be anyone stopping the rise in the dollar's exchange rate. It has continued in its upward journey, and as of Tuesday, the exchange rate stood at N615 at the parallel market in Lagos and Abuja.

However, the decline in the percentage of local raw materials sourced by manufacturers in the country contributes to this rise. This means that many of them run after imported raw materials, and you would require dollars to acquire those. According to information from the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, the percentage of local raw materials sourced declined to 52.4 percent from 57.5 percent.

According to the information from our source, the dollar sold for N613 and N614 at Zone 4 in Abuja, but in Lagos, it stood at N615 on Tuesday. At Abuja airports, the exchange rate was N615. However, at the Importers and Exporters window, the rate was N415.64 which puts the margin between the official and the parallel markets at N199.36.

Due to the upward surge in the exchange rate, Bureau de Change operators are reducing, and at this pace, the rate might rise to N700 before the end of the year. Our source spoke to some Bureau de Change operators, and many of them lament the continued rise in price. They complained that the scarcity of dollars was having a strong effect on their business and the economy at large. Many of them are holding their dollar due to the rise.

Nigeria today is badly hit by dollar crunch in addition to declining government revenue and oil production. The FG revenue dropped from N970.57 billion in July 2021 to N680.783 billion in May 2022.

In 2021, the nation amassed about $10 billion in non-oil exports, about 30 percent of Bangladesh's revenue from textile exports in 2021. Based on OPEC Monthly Oil Market Report, Nigeria's oil production fell to 1.2 million barrels per day in April 2022 from 1.238 million barrels in March 2022, which is below the oil benchmark of 1.88 million barrels per day proposed in the 2022 budget.

The decline of local input sourcing of raw materials, according to the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, was caused by the scarcity of raw materials. The percentage dropped from 57.5 percent to 52.4 percent.

MAN further said,

Since the full opening of the economy following the lockdown associated with COVID-19 pandemic, local raw materials and other manufacturing inputs have been relatively scarce and costly. This has also affected the output of the sector negatively.

Our source interviewed different manufacturers, and all of them decried the rise and advised the country to develop a good policy that would proffer a lasting solution to the present condition. They urged the FG to put a lid on things in the industries before the mouth industrialization of any kind.

APC Arewa youths recommend Rev. Yakubu Pam as Tinubu’s running mate

Posted: 28 Jun 2022 09:17 AM PDT

Image: Punch News

The All Progressives Congress Arewa Youths and Support Group has recommended the Executive Secretary of Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Yakubu Pam as running mate to the party Presidential flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. The group urged Tinubu and the northern governors to consider the Rev. Yakubu.

Two weeks earlier, the Northern Inter-Tribal and Inter-Religion Alliance for Peace, Unity and Development made a similar call to the Arewa youths ahead of the 2023 general elections.

On Tuesday, while addressing newsmen in Abuja, the group's General Secretary, Lukman Bako, made the call. He opposed the alleged move by the party leadership and governors to impose a Muslim candidate on the nation and party. He said the party knew well that Tinubu was a Muslim, then picking another Muslim is not acceptable.

Bako stated that choosing a de-tribalized candidate like Rev. Pam would help douse the tension a Muslim-Muslim ticket would create. He further said he was against the principle of religious intolerance and sensitivity.

In his words:

The implication of such cannot be overemphasized, hence the need for the leadership of the party to be circumspect regarding the choice of vice-presidential candidate in the presidential elections.

The rational thing to do is to nominate a Christian from the North Central/Middle Belt as the vice-presidential candidate of the APC.

According to Bako, his group chose Rev. Pam because of his personality as a bridge-builder. He identified clergyman as a unifying figure, seen in his contributions to peace and development in Northern Nigeria for decades.

He hereby warned the party that a Muslim-Muslim ticket might unsettle the ruling party and cause division among the party supporters.

He concluded:

We hold the firm conviction that the choice of Rev Yakubu Pam as the vice-presidential candidate of the APC comes with its attendant benefits as it would give the APC a balanced ticket that would eventually guarantee electoral success at the polls.

Nnamdi Kanu’s Fresh Bail Application Dismissed By Court

Posted: 28 Jun 2022 07:38 AM PDT

Image: Vanguard News

The detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, was at the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Tuesday. The court dismissed his fresh bail application filed through his legal team.

Kanu is currently facing a seven-count charge bordering on treasonable felony. He stands trial on counts 1,2,3,4,5,8, and 15; hence, pending the Federal Government's determination of the charge against him, he filed a fresh bail application. He had his legal team, led by Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN), file a fresh bail application. The team also challenged the revocation of the bail the court granted him earlier.

He demands the court set aside the order it made on March 28, 2019. The 2019 order issued a bench warrant for the arrest of the IPOB leader and gave the Federal Government the right to try him in absentia.

Kanu countered the FG's allegation of him jumping bail to the court. He explained to the court that he ran for his life when soldiers invaded his hometown at Afaraukwu Ibeku in Umuahia, Abia State. According to him, the attack led to the death of 28 individuals.

Kanu contended the denial of a fair hearing by the FG before revoking his bail. He backed up his claim with an attachment of eight exhibits which include photographs and an affidavit he deposed from Israel after he fled the nation.

Meanwhile, Justice Binta Nyako dismissed Kanu's bail request saying that she was dissatisfied with the reason given by the IPOB leader for his failure to appear in court for the continuation of his trial.

Furthermore, the trial judge noted that from records of the court, Kanu was represented by his legal counsel (and his sureties were present, too) on the day his bail was revoked.

He pointed out that his sureties informed the court that they did not know the whereabouts of the IPOB leader and then applied to be discharged from the matter.

Justices Nyako held that the court has the power to vacate a previous order due to some serious and certifiable reason or reasons. He concluded that the defendant gave no reason to set the order aside.

In the word of Justice Nyako said:

The present application amounts to an abuse of court process for attempting to relitigate an issue already decided by the court.

He concluded by asking the IPOB leader to proceed to the Appeal Court to contest the case further.

This is not the first time the IPOB leader's bail was declined; on March 18, it was first declined. Kanu is to provide a compelling reason for jumping bail; else, his bail will not be granted.

The case was therefore adjourned till November 14 for mention to await the outcome of Kanu's appeal.

Google Announces It’s Killing Google Hangouts In November

Posted: 28 Jun 2022 02:15 AM PDT

Image: Google

In February, Google retired Google Hangouts for Workspace users, and today it has commenced the migration of personal Hangouts users to chat at no cost. The shutdown announcement was posted on Google's Blog, and it said those still using the Hangouts mobile app will see a prompt to move to Chat.

Furthermore, according to the post, those who use Hangouts on the web will start getting prompt to move to Chat until July. However, Hangouts will not be available on its desktop site after November. The search engine giant said it would send a reminder to users not less than one month before it starts pointing them to Chat.

Google knew firsthand that it would not be easy to make users switch to Chat; hence it decided to roll out a few features to entice them to migrate. The features include making direct calls, creating in-line threads in Spaces (the rebrand of Rooms) and sharing and viewing multiple images.

In October 2020, Google announced that Google Chat would be available for all to use. They also said users could continue using Hangouts or upgrade to Google Chat. They are to take advantage of the benefits of Chat.

Google further gave the benefit of moving to Chat which includes connecting and collaborating with others in a far better way. Users were promised the ability to edit documents, slides and sheets side-by-side editing – a seamless way of collaborating while chatting.

In addition, the company says the switch to Chat promises more fun to users, whether using emojis with skin-tone selections, rich text editing, mentions to alert a group member within a group chat or even sending a GIF from the array of GIFs.

The tech giant said Google Chat comes with Spaces, a place dedicated to topic-based collaboration to add to the already juicy package. In Spaces, different users in Groups and teams can collaborate effectively with documents, files etc., within the platform. Finally, the Chat is now integrated with Gmail with the 'View in Gmail' feature, making it easy to Chat while still in Gmail inbox, Spaces and Meets.

Launched in 2013 as an in-place upgrade to Google Talk, Google Hangouts became Android's default messaging service. The app drew a whopping 5 billion downloads! As time went by, Hangouts handled Android SMS duties, but in 2016 the launch of Google Allo saw a decline in the use of the service. The Google Hangouts shutdown did not start today; it has been hanging in the balance since 2018.

When the company first made the call and after about four years (precisely in March 2022), Workspace customers (the premium version of Google apps) noticed Hangouts' removal. But regular consumers could still switch between Google Chat and Hangouts.

If you are a Hangouts user, do not worry because Google will automatically transfer your existing conversation to Chat. You are also open to the option of using the Google Takeout service to download a copy of your Hangouts data before its November official shutdown date.

The Lagos State Government on Monday announced via its official Twitter handle that it sealed more than 137 illegal buildings constructed across six district offices in the state.

The statement has it that the Monitoring and Compliance Unit of the Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority carried out the exercise at different locations. The locations include Alimosho, Mosan Okunola, Egbe-Idimu, Ikotun, Igando, Agbado Oke-Odo and Ayobo-Ipaja.

The statement explained that the 137 properties were sealed because most of them were residential buildings that were illegally converted to commercial centers without approval.

The Tweet goes thus:

No fewer than 137 buildings were sealed last week by the Monitoring and Compliance Unit of Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority. The enforcement took place at six district offices, Alimosho, Mosan Okunola, Egbe- Idimu, Ikotun Igando, Agbado Oke-Odo and Ayobo-Ipaja.

Buildings that were sealed contravene the state physical planning regulation. The sealed buildings are mostly residential buildings that were converted into commercial use without recourse to physical planning permit laws.

Also sealed were industrial, institutional and commercial structures, which do not have planning permit. The authority advises property owners and developers in Lagos State to seek the input of professionals in engineering and building.

Police Nabs Two Fulani Herdsmen Who Killed Lagos Resident Over Crushed Cow

Two unidentified cattle herders on Monday stabbed a man to death for killing a cow around Agemowo, in the Badagry area of Lagos State. The herders were said to be crossing the expressway with their cattle when a commercial bus that lost control of the vehicle crushed one of the cows.

When the herders saw what had happened, they held the driver and asked him to pay for the dead cow.

It was gathered from eyewitnesses that the argument ensued because the demand for payment escalated to a fight, and the herders stabbed the victim to death in the scuffle.

The victim's death then further degenerated into a clash between the herders and motorists in the area.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the incident. He said that the two suspects had been arrested.

He explained that a commercial vehicle ran into two cows yesterday, killing one of the cows. The two Fulani herdsmen then attacked and killed an individual they mistook for the bus conductor. The death angered residents who blocked the highway to protest the killing.

He said that the DPO of the Morogbo division and soldiers from the 243 Recce Battalion, Badagry joined forces to successfully clear the roadblocks. The two herders were arrested, and normalcy has returned to the area.

The police said they were investigating the occurrence and promised to provide updates.

Image: Premium Times

It was all jubilation as the Government of Kano State declared that it had paid N336 million as NECO exam fees for 29,031 students. The news was broken by the State Commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba, to newsmen on Monday in Kano State.

The information came as a reaction to a news report stating that the state students might miss this year's NECO examination due to the government's inability to settle the fees for the students.

He further explained that the payment would cover 15,313 students with nine credits from their qualifying examination and 1,018 students living with disabilities. In addition, 7,300 students for Special Intervention for Girl Child Education and 5,400 students were paid for by the local government councils.

The commission, in his speech, debunked the claim that the examination was being held yesterday. He said that only "Test Interpretation Practical" was held yesterday for teachers only to come up with modalities for the practical exams.

CJN, Tanko Muhammad Resigns, Ariwoola Is Sworn In as acting Chief Justice of Nigeria

Posted: 27 Jun 2022 09:25 AM PDT

Image: Daily Post Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari today swore Justice Olukayode Ariwoola as the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja.

The news is coming a few hours after the former CJN, Tanko Muhammad, resigned for undisclosed health issues. Ariwoola happens to be the most senior Justice of the Supreme Court. He was sworn in at around 3.00 pm Nigerian Time.

Justice Ariwoola was born on August 22, 1958, in Oyo State. He was a former Justice of the Court of Appeal before his elevation to the Supreme Court bench in 2011.

This is not the first time the Buhari-led government will be appointing Chief Justices. In fact, since the beginning of the regime, it has appointed three Chief Justices in acting and substantive capacities.

Under the Buhari regime, Yemi Osinbajo (acting president then) nominated Justice Walter Onnoghen as CJN to take over from Justice Mahmud Mohammed in March 2017. However, he was suspended in January 2019 for alleged false asset declaration.

After his suspension, Justice Tanko Muhammad was sworn in to replace him.

Until confirmed by the Senate under President Buhari's request, Justice Ariwoola will serve as acting Chief Justice of Nigeria.

In addition, Buhari conferred the just resigned CJN with the Commander of the Order of the Niger.

Witnessing the occasion include Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, other Justices of the Supreme Court, Director-General of the State Security Service, Yusuf Bichi, amongst others.

Support To Windows 8.1 Will End In January 2023 – Microsoft

Posted: 27 Jun 2022 05:00 AM PDT

Image: Business Insider

On January 10, 2023, Microsoft announced that it would end security updates for Windows 8.1. The tech giant, therefore, advised users to upgrade to Windows 11 for a safer experience. Though the Windows version will no longer be supported after the said date, the OS will still work. The only worry remains the security after the cut-off date.

Introduced on August 27, 2013, Windows 8.1 happens to be one of the preferred operating systems. Windows 8.1 perfectly blends the older, signature Windows interface and the tiled UI Microsoft. Windows 8.1 is the stable edition of Windows 8, which was launched with a series of challenges on August 1, 2012.

Expectedly, Microsoft seeing that their Windows 10 and 11 have become more stable and loaded with features, can now ax Windows 8.1. As the clock counts down, users have about seven months to prepare to upgrade since technical support to the OS will end. Recall that in January 2016, technical support for Windows ended, allowing focus on Windows 8.1.

Since by January, all users would be expected to switch to the new version to continue enjoying the secured system. To make things easy, Microsoft published a list of FAQs on its website addressing different questions users may ask about the change. The FAQ also includes the effects of using Windows 8.1 after the January 2023 date.

Users must note that Windows 8.1 will not stop working after the set date, but security updates will be challenging. Hence, without security updates using Windows 8.1 on your desktop or laptop renders you vulnerable to a series of risks and attacks via the web or local wired and wireless connections.

Different applications relating to Microsoft will no longer be supported next January on Windows 8.1. An example is Microsoft 365, which uses Microsoft's Modern Lifecycle Policy which requires users to stay updated on the most recent and secured software.

King Sunny Ade is my biological father, but can't access him, woman cries out

Posted: 26 Jun 2022 05:00 PM PDT

Chief Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye MFR - King Sunny Ade

The woman said her efforts to meet her biological father is not prompted by financial benefits.

A Nigerian woman who simply identified herself as Elizabeth Temitope Ayeni, has claimed that the Nigerian Juju singer, Chief Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye MFR, popularly known by his stage name, King Sunny Ade is her biological father.

The woman revealed this in an interview with The Punch, where she said her mother confessed to her three years ago after misleading her about her biological father for years.

Ayeni said she was worried about her father and became inquisitive after a prophet told her about a secret her mother was hiding from her.

According to the woman, she sought the intervention of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) when all efforts to meet the music maestro failed to yield positive result, adding that the NHRC also tried in futility.

Ayeni, however, said she only intends to establish a paternal relationship with Sunny Ade and not interested in any financial benefits.

She said, "In 2019, a pastor told me to ask my mother to reveal a secret to me. First, I didn't take it seriously until my husband told me to. So I called my mother and she confessed to me.

"My mother said the man I had always known as my father, isn't my biological father. She said my biological father is Niyi and he is from Ondo state. When I asked who Niyi is, she said Sunny Ade the singer.

"My mother said it all began when she was still living with her father. Then, her father wanted to marry her off to an aged man but she refused because she had met Sunny Ade earlier and was two months pregnant for him.

"She said she eventually got married to the aged man since she couldn't get in touch with Sunny Ade anymore. After getting married, my mother said she went in search of Sunny Ade but couldn't find him.

"She went back to her parent's place after the search and delivered me there. So, when I was two-year-old my mother left me with my grandma and remarried. Since the confession, I have been searching for Sunny Ade.

"I also went to a festival where he performed but couldn't get through to him. Every effort to meet with him has been fruitless so I went to NHRC for help.

"NHRC has also taken two letters and photographs to him but to no avail. All I want is to know my background not because Sunny Ade is wealthy."

Drug Law Officers arrests Brazilian returnee with cocaine in private parts

NDLEA has reportedly arrested a Brazilian-returnee with pellets of cocaine concealed in his private parts.

This is contained in a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday by NDLEA's Director, Media and Advocacy, Mr Femi Babafemi.

He stated that the suspect was nabbed on June 20 upon arrival on an Ethiopian Airline flight from Sao Paulo, Brazil via Addis Ababa.

He added that the suspect had swallowed 50 wraps of cocaine before departing Brazil and excreted 48 pellets in Addis Ababa where he handed them over to another person.

According to Babafemi, the suspect was unable to excrete the remaining two wraps at the hotel room in Addis Ababa before boarding his flight.

"He later excreted them in the aircraft restroom during the flight from Ethiopia to Lagos,'' Babafemi stated.

Meanwhile, two drug kingpins behind the smuggling of two drug consignments from Canada concealed in vehicles containers through the Tin Can Port in Apapa, Lagos have been arrested by NDLEA's operatives.

Babafemi stated that one of them was arrested at his house in Idi Araba area of Lagos on June 22.

The suspect was arrested for importing a 40ft container carrying 33 parcels of "Colorado'' weighing 16.5kg.

Babafemi added that the second suspect, popularly called Otunba, was arrested on Thursday for his role in the smuggling of 290 parcels of "Colorado'' weighing 145kg from Montreal, Canada.

The drugs were concealed in four vehicles shipped into Nigeria in a 40ft container.

"He had been on the run since March and had in the course of investigation attempted to bribe NDLEA officers with N10million to influence the case,'' Babafemi stated.

Good Samaritan offers her kidney to save Ekweremadu's daughter

Former deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu - Naijanews

The good Samaritan lady had claimed she was instructed in her dream that she should help the former Senator's daughter.

It seems God has sent help on the way of the former deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice, as a good Samaritan has offered to donate her kidney to save the life of their daughter, Sonia.

The lady, who is a Nigerian simply identified as Martha Uche, said it has been revealed to her via a dream that she should help Sonia.

Nollywood Times, few days ago wrote about the story of Ekweremadu and his wife who were allegedly caught in an organ harvesting plot in the United Kingdom.

According to the report, the duo were apprehended following investigation by the Specialist Crime Team of the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom, who suspected that they were plotting to harvest the organs of a minor.
