By Mariel Ferragamo The nomination of Ajay Banga as the next President of the World Bank comes amid growing calls for reform of the Bank's climate strategy. Shaping the Bank's agenda through 2028 will be key to achieving the development goals set for 2030, and a strong climate plan will signal a path for the Bank's lenders to follow suit and mobilize investment to build resilience and reduce the impact of climate change.
