'I Am Sorry Linda Ikeji' Kemi Olunloyo Finally Succumbs To Hushpuppi's Pressure

Posted: 30 May 2018 05:45 PM PDT

Controversial Journalist, blogger and single mother of two, Kemi Olunloyo has finally succumb to Hushpuppi's  pressure that she must apologise to Linda Ikeji for all the  derogatory words she had used on linda, before he could consider giving her any money.

To this end, Kemi decided to do a 1hour 14minutes video, because she can not write long stories in her present state,  to apologise to Linda. A thorough watch of the video reveals that there had been a long standing dispute between Kemi and Linda, which in my opinion, she had been looking for every opportunity to settle the scores.

From the issue of Linda's relationship with Dan Foster to writing a story of Kemi threatening to kill Nigerian bloggers, the raid of her house by the police over the story by Linda and so on.

However she has technically apologised to Linda Ikeji in this video, following Hushpuppi's order and promise of helping her with some money.

Kemi also said something about herself having kids out of wedlock in the video. She said:
'I never got married before having my kids, and it hurts me so bad, but i told my kids thats the way it is, i want the best for Linda, I dont want what happened to me to happened to Linda, So Am Sorry about what i said to Linda Ikeji, But she hurt me too'..

She ended the video and to prove that her words are genuine, Kemi says having made peace with Linda she has decided to end her career in journalism in Nigeria and retire honorably, She finally rounded up thanking Hushpuppi for being a peace maker..

However one thing that can not be overlooked here is the flow of the story from her. She is good in story telling coupled with very good command of English and date of events.

Earlier in one of our stories, a philanthropist by name Ade Adelove has promised to bankroll all her medical expenses in the millions of Naira.

I think Anti Kemi needs to be rehabilitated. Thank you Hushppupi.

Voters Should Vote For Candidates Of Their Choice

Posted: 30 May 2018 02:03 PM PDT

President Muhammadu Buhari has advised Nigerians and the electorates to vote for candidates of their choice in next year's general elections.

The President gave this advice last night while breaking fast with members of the judiciary led by the Supreme Court Justice Olukayode Ariwoola.

He said: "Let them vote for anybody they want across ethnicity and religion and impose their decisions on them. I think that is what I am calling on and I am begging the governors to please continue with voter education so that people will take their permanent voter card seriously and make sure that they don't lose them.

President Buhari while recalling his political journey so far said: "I find it necessary to invite you because I don't normally see you, I have to repeat what I said having heard what you said.

I mentioned that when I was in the military and much younger, we believed things were going wrong and so when I came I took from the president downwards, to Kirikiri (prison) against your advice and told them that they are guilty until they prove themselves innocent.

"I decided to put on agbada and come back, I tried three times and then fourth time I eventually made it. Thanks to God and thanks to technology because this permanent voter card and card readers are fantastic.

"Now with technology, it has been made easy. That is why I keep appealing to the governors to embark on voter education, to please tell the people that their voter card is their national card so to speak.

According to TheNation, former Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Alpha Belgore, responding on behalf of the Judiciary, said he had always respected the President as a person.

He said:
"He loves this country very much. Because of that, what he need always is to have very good people around him. The economy is down all over Africa so if we have any other problem now, it's just a child's play with what is happening in other countries.

"I pray that this country will continue to develop under you. God will continue to guide you right and the country will be very very strong. We are holding another election next year." he added.

Ekiti State House of Assembly members on Monday held a special plenary at foot of the newly commissioned flyover on the major highway in Ado-Ekiti to declare their support for the candidature of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Prof. Kolapo Olusola.

The Ado-Ekiti Flyover commissioned by former President Goodluck Jonathan last Saturday, was the sitting venue of the Lawmakers from where they declared Ekiti "a no-go area for rigging" by the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led Federal Government.

According to The Nationonline, the sitting which started at 12.13 pm, saw all the Lawmakers resolved to work for Olusola's victory at the poll to ensure the realization of the continuity agenda of the Fayose administration.

Led by Speaker Kola Oluwawole, the lawmakers vowed to resist any attempt by the Federal Government and its allied agencies "to scuttle the wishes of the people through their votes at the July 14 governorship election."

Mr. Olatunji Akinyele, the House Leader of Business, in a lead debate under Matters of Urgent Public Importance, the legislators affirmed their loyalty to Governor Ayo Fayose for using his mandate for the benefit of Ekiti people

Akinyele commended Fayose for "changing the face of Ekiti" with people-oriented projects including dualization of roads in Ado-Ekiti and other major towns which culminated in inauguration of the flyover last Saturday by Jonathan.

He further added: "We support the candidature of Prof Kola Olusola for the governorship of Ekiti State and we urge the people of the state to vote for the continuity of Fayose's legacies.

Nigerian Man Has Been Sent To Prison For BEC Fraud Totalling $823,765(N290m)

Posted: 30 May 2018 03:35 AM PDT

A young Nigerian man by name Samson Olugbenga Oyekunle alias Evertipsysmiley is currently going to spend some of his years in a Houston Prison following being convicted for obtaining money under false pretences.

He was convicted on the 20th of April and a press release was conducted by the Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney's Office, Southern District of Texas.

See the full statement from the Justice Ministry below:

A 34-year-old Nigerian man who illegally resided in Houston has been ordered to prison for his involvement in numerous Business Email Compromise (BEC) schemes. Samson Olugbenga Oyekunle pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud Oct, 6, 2017.

Today, U.S. District Judge Melinda Harmon ordered Oyekunle to serve 63 months in federal prison. He initially came to the United States on a student visa, but not a U.S. citizen, he is expected to face deportation proceedings following his sentence. At the hearing today, a victim spoke before the court as to how this case has devastatingly affected him and his law practice. Judge Harmon further ordered Oyekunle to pay restitution to the victims he defrauded.

BEC fraud is a sophisticated fraud targeting businesses that regularly perform wire transfer payments. The fraud is carried out by compromising legitimate business e-mail accounts through social engineering or computer intrusion techniques to conduct unauthorized transfers of funds. The front end fraud of these BEC schemes originates from international locations. The fraudsters will use the method most commonly associated with their victim's normal business practices and make victims believe the emails are coming from a legitimate source.   Others, such as Oyekunle, working within the conspiracy open bank accounts with counterfeit passports that are being funded with fraudulent BEC wire transfers. These domestic bank accounts are a crucial component of the fraud scheme being a success.
From on or about Jan. 1, 2016, through February 2, 2017, Samson Oyekunle was involved in numerous BEC schemes. Co-conspirators, working outside the United States, caused funds obtained through a variety of BEC schemes to be wire transferred into the various bank accounts Oyekunle fraudulently opened.

Oyekunle would open bank these bank accounts in or around the Houston area with counterfeit passports in order to facilitate fraud payments into these accounts. Oyekunle opened numerous bank accounts at several financial institutions including Chase Bank, Bank of America, Capital One Bank, First National Bank of Texas, and Wells Fargo Bank.

A total of 30 fraudulent wire transfers totaling $823,765 were taken from victims across the United States under false pretenses and were deposited into these accounts.

Oyekunle has been and will remain in custody pending transfer to a U.S. Bureau of Prisons facility to be determined in the near future.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service conducted the investigation along with Department of State – Diplomatic Security Service. Assistant U.S. Attorney Suzanne Elmilady is prosecuting the case.
