Reason Retired Generals Are Against President Buhari – General Jemibewon

Posted: 08 Sep 2018 06:06 PM PDT

President Buhari

Major General David Jemibewon, Nigerian retired army general, has revealed why some retired Generals are against President Buhari's administration.

The retired General stated that Buhari was getting the opposition's criticisms so that he can enhance his performance and meet the needs of Nigerians who voted him into power.

It could be recalled that retired generals like, Generals Olusegun Obasanjo, Ibrahim Babangida, T.Y Danjuma, among others have in one occasion or the other lambasted the present administration for various reasons.

The General while speaking with the Sun, said some Generals may feel disappointed but not necessarily in every aspect.

Jemibewon said, "Personally, I feel that governance is not an easy thing but there are times that you just need to do the right thing and some people may feel hurt by your actions.

"That is the only way you could make the society happy and for them to feel that you are just. Some Generals may feel disappointed but not necessarily in every respect.

"Life itself is full of ups and downs but let us see positive actions to show that one is in charge.

"I am not certain that it is every aspect that the Generals you mentioned are not happy with the administration.

"And in any case, what has probably influenced them to make whatever statements they have made is because of esprit de corps.

"If you want somebody to succeed, you have to criticize him if you are not satisfied with his performance on a particular subject.

"So, for the Generals criticizing him, I am not sure it means they are abandoning him. I feel that they want him to do well because let us be honest, he is one of us and if he does well, it will rub off on us. If he does not do well, it will rub off on us.

"I think that it is that training that connects all of us. That is probably why they are expressing their opinion but that does not mean they are not supporting him. I think that they feel that by criticizing him, he will improve."

How I Bewitch People To Win Elections, Lure Women To Bed – Politician

Posted: 08 Sep 2018 05:07 PM PDT

By Ihechukwu Njoku, a freelance journalist

Lawrence Kilabo, who was the Sokoni Ward Member of the County Assembly from 2013 to 2017, exposed diabolical details of his quest for political power in the clip uploaded to popular Nigerian channel 'Emmanuel TV'.

The politician revealed that he squandered KSh 50 million (approx. $500,000) on Tanzanian witch doctors in his pursuit to win the parliamentary seat in Kilifi North, although his ambitions were thwarted as he lost the election.

Kilabo further revealed that he used witchcraft to lure women to bed, admitting that he would sleep with over 10 women daily when he worked as a tour guide before entering politics.

Watch video below:

"I have over 20 children with more than 10 different women,"he stated during his confession at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), where Kilabo sought 'deliverance' from his demonic entanglements.

"The wicked seem to prosper now and live without a care but they will spend eternity in terror and despair," the clip's description quotes Pastor T.B. Joshua as saying, in response to Kilabo's sordid revelations.

Kenyan's commented in their droves on the video, most condemning the East African nation's political elite for their alleged involvement in witchcraft.

"Really, the Kenyan government needs to run to God because most of them use the power of darkness to win elections," opined Margy Nyarks.

T.B. Joshua's church is known for attracting prominent members of Africa's political elite and is regarded as the most popular religious tourist destination in West Africa.

Zone That Our PDP Presidential Candidate Must Come From - Fayose

Posted: 08 Sep 2018 04:23 PM PDT

Gov. Ayodele Fayose

Gov. Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, has urged his party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to pick its presidential candidate from the North West.

The Ekiti State Governor spoke on Friday at the Government House, Ado Ekiti, when he received presidential aspirant, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN.

Daily Post reports that the presidential aspirant, Turaki had earlier in Ekiti consulted with PDP delegates and elders from the state.

Gov Fayose had said: "When we look at the assignments you have carried out, you are not a small man. You have capacity for the job of the president, but power belongs to God."

Fayose emphasized that it is, "safer and better for PDP to pick its presidential candidate from the North West zone to compete for votes effectively with President Buhari".

The Governor also counselled his party, that the primary must be transparent and credible.

Fayose, however, insisted that the South West zone must be well accommodated in the power balancing equation since the party's candidates and the national chairman are coming from other parts of the country.

"If you leave South West out, the election would have been lost before voting."

The out spoken Governor noted that Nigerians now appreciate the difference between credible governance under PDP and failure under APC who are notorious election riggers and are now yearning for the PDP to return to power and rescue the country.

The governor recalled his warnings in 2013 prior to the general elections when he raised the alarm that Buhari lacked the capacity for the job, but that he wanted the position of president just for the sake of it.

Fayose noted that part of the reasons given by Buhari for seeking the presidency was to ensure justice, but the governor noted that instead of justice, the president has dished our bitterness to Nigerians.

Primate Ayodele Warns Tinubu, Beware, APC Will Use And Dump You In 2019 – Urges PDP To Consider Saraki For Victory

Posted: 08 Sep 2018 03:48 PM PDT

Bola Tinubu

Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, Nigerian popular seer,  of the Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, has warned the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, to beware of some elements in the party, prophesying that the foremost politician would be used and dumped by the cabal allegedly holding the government of President Muhammadu Buhari by the jugular.

The cleric spoke with newsmen in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, on Saturday. Ayodele, who said the divine signals he received have shown that Buhari's second term, if given by Nigerians, may bring chaos, urged delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to consider Senate President Bukola Saraki as the party's presidential candidate, saying: "The Lord has revealed that Saraki would defeat Buhari if given PDP ticket for 2019 poll."

According to the Daily Post, Prophet Ayodele, who also urged President Buhari not to contest because he wouldn't be able to tame the cabal that would ruin his second term, said: "I am talking as a prophet. I don't want to know what anyone might say about this. APC government has gone in Nigeria, there is no fantastic thing about APC and this is why I say that Buhari should not contest in 2019. If he does there will be chaos.

"Tinubu will be used and dumped by the ruling party".

" Those defecting to APC have destroyed the party. Akpabio can't deliver anything for APC. The celebration greeting his defection to APC won't result into anything worthwhile.
Buhari isn't corrupt but he isn't fighting corruption, rather, it is corruption fighting back. There is no way they would do a presidential election with such huge amount of money that we won't have corrupt practices. The money they have gone to borrow would not be properly utilized. We had warned against the president's decision to borrow money from China and we are saying now that government will mismanage the money and it will all result into failure.

"People surrounding Buhari are desperate for his second term because they want to use the President to achieve their selfish desires. They will stab him in back as the party will have issues after its primary.
There will be mutiny in the army as junior officers would rise against their seniors.

"As for an alternative for Nigeria in 2019, I urge the delegates of the PDP, to consider Saraki and also urge the party leadership to ensure a free and fair primary. The Lord has assured that Saraki will defeat Buhari if given the PDP mandate. The presidential poll coming in 2019 will be a tough one, it won't be easy for APC as it was in 2015.

"We had predicted that APC will implode much earlier. If care is not taken the party will soon lose other states. I have said that the only opposition in APC will be from the party itself . APC may lose Lagos if they don't make Ambode its party flag bearer and ensure he gets a second term. I have said earlier in 2017 that Ambode would not get a second term on a platter of gold as he would face opposition within the party.

"Some people will still defect and this time it would be very surprising. If APC picks Victor Ochai in Delta State, the former Speaker of the state, the party will win. The party will have issues in Oyo ,Kogi, Niger, Nassarawa, Adamawa, Sokoto, Imo and Ogun states. Akeredolu should pray against legal whirlwind against him. His having a second term in Ondo will be difficult.

"I urge INEC and the security not to support politicians to rig 2019 poll. Politicians will use money to buy votes, this is why the Lord has said that no government will be able to fight corruption unless there is no vote buying during elections. God will judge many corrupt politicians who have ruined the nation with harvest of death and sicknesses."

Ayodele also spoke about the corporate world, saying : "Glo, MTN will have troubles. 9 mobile will still change its name. Let us pray against sicknesses among the gurus in the telecommunication sector."

The man of God, who had prophesied the victory of U.S President Donald Trump and his many challenges, warned that Trump will have issues with his second term bid as even his party will be against him.

He said: "Trump will have issues with investors in America. There will be natural disasters in the country leading to death and many becoming homeless."

On sports and other sectors, Ayodele said: "the tenure of Amodu Pinnick is over in the NFF. A lot of money will be missing in NNPC and Senator Daji should be considered by APC in Imo State. PENGASSAN , NUPENG will still have industrial crisis that would lead to strike which will result into scarcity of petroleum," he said.

The cleric, who predicted Fayemi's victory two years ago, urged the Governor-elect in Ekiti State not to underrate any litigation and declared that he will have challenges in his government during the second term.

TUC Disclose Strategies To Enforce Compliance Of New Minimum Wage

Posted: 08 Sep 2018 12:31 AM PDT

Trade Union Congress

Comrade Boboi Kaigama, the President of Trade Union Congress, TUC, has slammed the federal and state government for failing to implement the new minimum wage.

The TUC President, revealed that members of organised labour across Nigeria were already proposing the abrogation of security votes.

According to him, the new wages was expected to take effect in September.

The Comrade in a statement, after he picked his nomination and expression of interest forms for Taraba governorship election at the National Secretariat of the APC, in Abuja, on Friday, Kaigama said it was unfortunate that government was still giving excuses.

He said: "The issue of minimum wage is legitimate to the Nigerian worker. It is expected that five years down the line, employers are supposed to sit down with their employees represented by trade unions to review their wages.

"We are two years behind schedule on this. The dollar rate when the last minimum wage came into being was N150. It has now more than doubled that figure.

"Governors are complaining about the proposed minimum wage, but the fact is that you cannot sit down in your own house and be waiting for allocation from the federation account and think you can pay minimum wage. You have to be creative and develop your own resources.

"There is no state as far as the working class is concerned that will say they cannot pay the proposed minimum wage. The money is there but corruption and incompetence would not allow them to pay."
