Posted: 07 Jun 2019 04:42 PM PDT

Mr. Godwin Obaseki

Mr. Godwin Obaseki, the Governor of Edo State, has described erstwhile Chairman of Mixta Africa, late Arc. Eddy Eguavoen, as a mentor and role model to many Edo people, who drew inspiration from his giant strides in the real estate sector.

The Governor said the state government will immortalise late Eguavoen by naming the street where Emotan Gardens Estate is being developed after the late architect.

Obaseki paid glowing tribute to the Late Eguavoen, during a service of songs held in his honour, in Benin City, Edo State.

He said Edo State is proud of the landmark contributions of late Eguavoen, especially in his roles as the Chairman of Mixta Africa, through which he contributed immensely to the development of Emotan Gardens Estate in Benin City, The Nation reports.

He noted, "The Government and people of Edo state are grateful for the role he played as Chairman of Mixta Africa in the development of Emotan Gardens Estate."

"Words can't express my sadness and grief when I heard of the passing of your beloved husband, father, good friend and brother. I will forever cherish the support he gave to my firm and during my campaign," he said.

The first son of the deceased, Mr Osagie Eguavoen, commended the governor for the show of love to the family, noting, "The show of love has been overwhelming. I am impressed with stories of my father's simplicity, honesty and love."

He further mentioned that the bill when signed into law, stipulates that in each of the 23 local Government areas of the state, a committee to be known as the Local Government Inter-faith Committee has to be established

According to him, the local Government Inter-faith committee shall consider and recommend to state Inter-faith Regulation Council all applications for the grant of licence to religious preachers as well as screen and recommend preachers for the grant of license among other functions.

INEC To Pay Okorocha On Court Order For Withholding Certificate Of Return

Posted: 07 Jun 2019 03:59 PM PDT

Rochas Okorocha

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, on Friday ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to pay N200,000 to a former Imo State, governor, Rochas Okorocha, for failing to recognise him as the winner of the 2019 senatorial election in the state.

According to a judgement that lasted over four hours, the Court slammed INEC for its failure to issue a certificate of return to Rochas Okorocha on allegations he compelled the returning officer of his electoral district, Innocent Ibeabuchi, to declare him the winner of the elections, 'under duress'.

Justice Okon Abang, who presided over the court, also awarded a fine of N100, 000 each against the second to the eighth defendant in the matter, in favour of Mr Okorocha, Premium Times reports.

'Illegal'
According to the judge, INEC acted illegally when it decided to exclude Mr Okorocha from the list of elected senators despite a declaration by the commission's returning officer that Mr Okorocha had won the election.

After declaring Mr Okorocha winner of the February, 23 senatorial elections in the state, Mr Ibeabuchi later alleged that he was forced to do so.

RELATED:  INEC vs Rochas Okorocha: See What Happened In Court On Tuesday

Following the allegation, INEC excluded the name of Mr Okorocha from its list of newly elected senators and announced its resolve to deprive Mr Okorocha of the certificate of return.

Subsequently, the former governor approached the court with several requests aimed at clarifying the validity of INEC's decision.

On Friday, Mr Abang ruled that his court had jurisdiction to determine the validity or otherwise of the decision reached by INEC and nullified the said decision, with consequential orders against INEC and the defendants.

"Since the reliefs of the plaintiff touch on the validity of INEC in refusing to release the results, this court has explicit jurisdiction to determine whether that decision by INEC is valid or not," Mr Abang ruled.

"After the issuance of form EC8E1 and the declaration of the winner made, that declaration is conclusive, pending the determination of an election tribunal," he added.

RELATED:  I've Taken Enough Insults From Oshiomhole, But I'll Not Leave APC For Him - Rochas Okorocha

Mr Abang said INEC had no power to act as it did, adding that such an action implied the creation of new laws by INEC.
"It is not fair that INEC behaved the way that it did. The report of the returning officer that he declared the result under duress is in the realm of an allegation," said Mr Abang, who added that the allegation could be false.

According to Mr Abang, the decision by INEC to acknowledge the allegation of its returning officer against other factors which suggested peaceful conduct of the election was detrimental to Nigeria's democracy.

"INEC cannot introduce dangerous precedence in our electoral jurisprudence. If it's not checked, returning officers in future can decide to allege duress, knowing that the certificate will not be issued.

"INEC cannot hide under section 75 (2) of the electoral act to refuse to issue a certificate if a return to the plaintiff.

"INEC did not declare that the election in issue was inconclusive. INEC did not declare another person winner," Mr Abang said.
Okorocha remains winner-Judge

The judge ruled that Mr Okorocha remains the winner of the election and his recognition by the commission, "cannot be delayed one minute longer."

"It is at this moment declared that the returning officer, having declared the plaintiff winner of the election, the plaintiff remains returned as winner of the February 23 election.

RELATED:  'Mark It, I Will Be President of Nigeria' - Rochas Okorocha Swears

"Given Section 68 (c) of the electoral act, having scored the highest number of valid votes cast at the election; the declaration is final.

"The refusal of the first defendant to include the name of the plaintiff in the list of elected candidates published on its website is ultra vias, unlawful null and void," Mr Abang ruled.

Mr Abang ordered INEC to immediately recognise Mr Okorocha as the winner "and publish his name among the list of winners, till any further decision by the election tribunal."

Here Are 13 Ways To Get Rid Of Chest Acne For Good

Here Are 13 Ways To Get Rid Of Chest Acne For Good
It sucks enough when you have a zit on your face-but down by your boobs?! Life is truly unfair. Don't worry--there are ways to get rid of chest acne.

Still, you can console yourself with the fact that chest acne is not exactly rare. "The chest is a very common place for acne to form, says dermatologist Marnie Nussbaum , MD. Just like on our face , shoulders, or back, the chests sebaceous glands can become overloaded with oil, causing clogged pores, which results in inflammation and the formation of pimples or whiteheads .

If you're prone to boob sweat, you might be especially vulnerable: "Breakouts can also occur from dermatitis, which is the result of irritation from clothing friction, exacerbated by sweating," says Dendy Engelman , MD, a dermatologist in New York City.

Plus, there's the fact that most people don't give the skin on their chests the same TLC they give to their faces, says Bradley Bloom , MD, a dermatologist in New York. So yeah, it's time to give your boob region some love.

Here's how to get rid of chest acne, according to dermatologists.

1, Check your laundry detergent.
Its possible that you can be allergic to certain chemicals or scent in the detergent, cautions Dr. Engelman. Use dye-free, fragrance-free detergents and fabric softeners. Its often scents and dyes that cause the problem.

The tricky thing is the majority of laundry detergents and fabric softeners include fragrance, even some marketed for babies. So, be extra careful and read the fine print.

2. Take your vitamins.
Sure, it's always best to get your nutrients from foods -but if switching up your diet isn't doable, it might be worth looking into a multivitamin, advises Dr. Engelman. "Zinc in a vitamin reduces skin inflammation, while vitamin E can help heal your skin and help reduce the look of scars," she adds.

3. Use a treatment.
The good news is that body acne can be treated with the same products and ingredients that you use for your face, says Dr. Engelman. Apply treatments directly on breakouts to clear them up ASAP. Dr. Engelman recommends using ones containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. Proactiv Acne Clearing Body Spray comes in spray-from, so it's easy to use on your bod.

4. Chuck thick lotions.
To keep your pores gunk-free, Arielle Nagler, MD, medical director and assistant professor of dermatology at NYU Langone, recommends sticking to a lightweight moisturizer that goes easy on the oil-one of many chest acne causes. Allowing your skin to breathe (while making sure you're not ashy) is a big deal if you want to maintain clear skin on your chest (and everywhere else).

5. Pay attention to your workout gear.
Fitted workout gear is cute and all, but it can also lead to sweat accumulation and friction which opens the door to breakouts . Wear clothes made of breathable fabrics, suggests Dr. Nussbaum, who notes that cotton is best.

6. Change out of those sweaty clothes ASAP.
Youll want to change out of any sweaty clothes as soon as your workout is over and shower ASAP to prevent your pores from clogging. If you cant rinse off immediately, change and then wipe down the chest area with a cloth or a wipe for the time being to unclog your pores, says Dr. Nussbaum.

7. Exfoliate regularly.
Sloughing off dead skin is just as important for the body as it is for the face. Exfoliating one to two times a week will buff away dead skin cells that can clog pores and form pimples, says Dr. Nussbaum. Try a body scrub with a physical exfoliant like St. Ives's.

8. Try a benzoyl peroxide body wash.
Fancy scented body gels are fun, sure, but if you have a serious case of chest acne, benzoyl peroxide is your best bet here. Benzoyl peroxide is a great ingredient for acne on the chest because it kills bacteria that live in pores but also helps to unclog them, says Dr. Bloom.

Youll notice that it comes in different strengths; Dr. Bloom suggests starting out at a four to five percent concentration, and moving up to a stronger formula if your skin doesnt get irritated and your acne hasnt cleared up.

9. Or go for a salicylic acid cleanser if you're sensitive.
If even a low-grade benzoyl peroxide wash aggravates your skin, salicylic acid is a tame alternative. Dr. Nussbaum recommends an OTC option, such as Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash. A dermatologist can also prescribe these body washes in higher potencies if needed, she adds.

10. Give light therapy a shot.
For those of you who may be medicine and chemical-averse, Dr. Gohara recommends light therapy. While it sounds intense, it's something you can administer on your own at home. The waves emitted from various color lights have been proven to be effective anti-inflammatories capable of fighting off bacteria.

11. Make sure it's actually acne.
If you find your chest acne is not responding to derm-recommended treatments, it might be because you're not actually dealing with acne at all. "There are some acne doppelgngers out there," according to Dr. Gohara.

12. Get a chemical peel.
A chemical peel is THE move if you're looking for relief when it comes to pigmentation, scarring, and pimples themselves, according to Dr. Nagler. The procedure, performed by a dermatologist, removes the topmost superficial layers of the skin leaving behind the smoother and blemish-free skin that was underneath.

13. Cut back whey protein.
"A lot of protein supplements can definitely make acne worse," says Mona Gohara, MD, associate clinical professor of dermatology at Yale School of Medicine and a Women's Health advisor.

Even if you're using an effective acne treatment, the whey-a dairy byproduct that can help promote muscle mass-found in many protein powders can circumvent the TLC you're showing your chest and even exacerbate your acne. Instead, Dr. Gohara recommends a heart-healthy low-glycemic diet packed with chicken, fish, and nuts for protein.

Conditions including folliculitis-infected and inflamed hair follicles- tend to look a lot like acne and get treated like acne when they actually call for very different remedies. Check in with your dermatologist to make sure acne treatments are really what you need.

Wardrope Malfunction: J.Lo Was Just Photographed Wearing A Pair Of Spanx After A Wardrobe Malfunction

Posted: 07 Jun 2019 07:00 AM PDT

J.Lo

  • Jennifer Lopez was a spotted wearing Spanx underneath her clothing in Miami recently.
  • J.Lo and Alex Rodriguez were attending their children's elementary school graduation ceremony.
  • J.Lo was recently honored at the CFDA awards with the Icon Award.

Let's be real: Jennifer Lopez's body is the stuff of legend-but even real-life goddesses (you know it's true, you've seen her abs ), enlist a little backup sometimes, too.

J.Lo and fianc Alex Rodriguez (a.k.a. A-Rod) were out in Miami recently for their children's elementary school graduation ceremony-J.Lo's twins Max and Emme, 11, were graduating, along with A-Rod's daughter Ella, also 11-and J.Lo was photographed wearing some Spanx, according to PageSix .

A gust of wind blew J.Lo's salmon-colored Chanel midi dress up just enough for everyone to get a glimpse of her shapewear-you know, like many, many women wear literally all the time. J.Lo, the queen she is, didn't miss a beat: She adjusted her dress and kept right on walking.

Earlier this week, J.Lo was honored at the CFDA awards with the Icon Award-and she did not disappoint with her outfit. In something that could only be described as couture athleisure, J.Lo wore a design by Ralph Lauren which consisted of an orange sparkly crop top with a matching full skirt, complete with sweatpants-style drawstring waist and a massive train. The whole thing was covered in crystals.

Also important: Her abs were on fire. And with good reason: J.Lo has been known to "very rarely skip a workout," according to Us Weekly . She and A-Rod also swear by TruFusion workouts to sculpt their banging bodies. The fitness studio features classes from yoga to bootcamp in rooms heated to up to 120 degrees.

Clearly, she's also "genetically blessed" (those are actual words from her trainer David Kirsch, according to People ), but props to her for not being ashamed to rock some Spanx once in a while, regardless of what her body looks like.

Do cheating partners ever change?

Posted: 07 Jun 2019 06:30 AM PDT

Do cheating partners ever change?
Is there any chance that a partner who once cheated will ever change?

Anyone who has ever been cheated on will have no problem telling you that a partner who has cheated once will do it again. The fear is understandable for such people who have been burnt once.

And it's even worse if they forgave the partner, only for him or her to go out there and do it again, over and over till every last tiny bit of trust is scraped off their partner's souls.

But that seems to be only part of the story. Cheaters do indeed change.
"I know someone who was once a bad cheat," says Freddie [not his real name], a bachelor in Lagos.

"At the height of his philandering, he once locked out his visiting girlfriend till he finished with his sidechick.

"When he was done, he put the side chick in his flatmate's room before going to open the door for his girlfriend who was in tears at the embarrsassment. Nothing happened and he remained in a relationship with her for a long time after that."

"These days though, he's in a new relationship and he's so faithful to his girlfriend. Another woman could be naked in front of him and he would walk away. He's that faithful"

When people say "once a cheater, always a cheater," they deeply underestimate people's ability to change, says Tammy Nelson, an American couples' therapist and the author of 'The New Monogamy: Redefining Your Relationship After Infidelity.'

"People who say a cheater can't change have never felt the awful guilt that comes when you realize you've made a terrible mistake by having a one-night stand or an affair," she said.

The real threat of losing a relationship they value could teach people to come to their senses and act right if their partner would have them back.

Don't forget, cheating does not need to be the end of a relationship. It could galvanise partners to treasure and hold on to their relationship tighter than ever.

It is a wrong way to deal with relationship conflicts, but at the nadir of unresolved relationship issues and disconnection from their partners, people have been known to get mixed up in things they shouldn't be doing.

And whether they were ever discovered or not, a cheating partner could come to their senses one day and decide to give it up. It may be a little unfair to not afford them the trust that they could change their ways.

But what's better than cheating and hurting people that love you before coming to your senses is to stay faithful and not cheat at all.

Because, sometimes, there may be no opportunity for true redemption.

Fact: This is why men hurt more than women after breakups

Posted: 07 Jun 2019 06:00 AM PDT

Fact: This is why men hurt more than women after breakups
The end of a relationship is never fair on anyone. Men hurt, women hurt when the familiar feeling of happiness is suddenly snatched from them due to a breakup. Even when the breakup is expected, the grieving process often still plays out.

A British study, reported has claimed that men suffer more long-lasting pain from breakups than women. The question that naturally follows this is: why is this so? How and why are men hurting more when it is they who usually seem to move on from breakups faster and more painlessly?

According to an article published on The Independent Ireland in 2017, it is not so controversial to say that men struggle more after a breakup than women do because "emotionally, [men] often react badly to major life upheavals. Moreover, [men's] methods for dealing with changed circumstances are not always helpful."

A 2015 survey by Men's Health magazine backs up this statement. Conductors of the survey found out that going to the pub was named the best way to "get over" a split according to while one third of those polled said the jilted party would be better off if he acts unbothered by the whole thing.

Right there, is one of the reasons why men suffer - the unwillingness to face what happened and come to terms with the reality of it.

"Males grew up with the 'men don't cry' attitude and while men may deal with things differently, it doesn't mean they don't feel the same pain and the same hurt as women," says Elaine Hanlon, a counsellor and psychotherapist based in Dublin. "So for generations, men have learnt to suppress this pain and hurt and 'be a man' which doesn't allow much space for vulnerability."

On the other hand, women are typically more comfortable finding a shoulder to cry on and letting it all out.

"Women are often less dependent on their significant other for emotional support - they typically have a wider circle of friends and will confide to family in a way most men wouldn't countenance." Hanlon says.

That kinda explains why they come to grips with reality and find the real strength to genuinely close a chapter a move on to the next quicker.

Another reason why women don't suffer as much as men after a breakup is because they do the breaking up more times than men.

"Studies show that more women than men are the initiators of marriage break up today," Hanlon adds.

What this means is that, women have more time to start processing the pain ahead. They begin to prepare early for the outcomes of splitting up from a partner. By the time they are done with that phase, the man may just be beginning his.

For men, therefore, it is important to begin to deal with breakups in more expressive, healthier ways as opposed to the 'suck-it-all-up' technique that is being used from way back.

What to do when your partner gets overly jealous all the time

Posted: 07 Jun 2019 05:00 AM PDT

What to do when your partner gets overly jealous all the time
If you have a partner who gets overly jealous, here are five ways to deal with that.

Jealousy in a relationship is that uncomfortable feeling you get when a partner gets too close to people of the opposite sex. It's actually OK to feel that way. In a way, it shows that you care and that you don't mean to share. This kind of healthy jealousy cannot particularly be condemned.

On the other hand, there is an excessive type of jealousy which is both irrational, childish, toxic and just so unreasonable. When a partner tries to limit all forms of communication with members of the opposite sex, when they feel threatened by your association to other men or women, no matter how harmless the relationship is, that is an obviously unhealthy relationship behaviour.

If you have a partner who is like this, here are ways to deal with that:

Always introduce
Run into a friend or colleague? Manners require that you introduce them to your partner and do not leave your partner at a corner to go chat in private with them for too long.

Be honest with them about how you feel
If you are honest with your partner about your friendships, connections, business affiliations and partners, you reduce their chances of distrusting you. When your man or woman trusts you well enough, their chances of getting paranoid will many time reduce significantly.

Reassurances
Some people have been heartbroken over and over again, causing them to be paranoid and extremely guarded. If your partner's jealousy owes to this paranoia, try to always reassure them of your undying love. Tell him or her that they've got you and that you won't do to them what the previous partner did.

More important, though, ensure that you mean what you say

Priorities
Never make your partner feel like they are in a contest with some other woman or man. Let them know, every time, every day and everywhere that they are number one and that no one comes close in importance.

Let them know that their behaviour is unacceptable
If your partner is one who gets unduly jealous even at the simplest relations with other people, they may be doing so because they think it is a normal behaviour. You need to tell them that this not how normal partners do.

Normal partners allow their partners talk to other people and even relate with them within the limit of reason and good judgement.

What to do if you don't like a woman who has a crush on you

Posted: 07 Jun 2019 04:30 AM PDT

What to do if you don't like a woman who has a crush on you
Guys, there are three options available to you if a babe likes you but you don't like her back.

Being liked by someone you do not fancy is a feeling that's traditionally more relatable to women, but with the consistent call on women to become more proactive when they're attracted to men, that may be changing already.

These days more and more woman are coming out of their shells, shooting their shots in the hopes of scoring big with men they like.

What this potentially creates is a problem of sorts where attraction is one-sided and unreciprocated affection flows from the woman to the man who may be clueless on the best way to say no without breaking the woman's heart or sounding like a jackass while declaring his disinterest.

Guys, if you ever find yourself caught in this delicate situation, here's what to do:

No mixed signals

When you expressly say that you are not interested in a relationship with her, then let your actions portray it, too. If you decide to be friends, ensure to stay in the confines of friendship and avoid anything that could be [mis]interpreted as an intention to be more than friends. There really should be no mixed signals here.

Be honest

Disinterested in a lady who's got a crush on you? Be honest about it. It is infinitely better to make this clear from the very beginning. Even if it'll crush her and make her feel bad, it's the logical thing to do of you really are not interested in what she wants.

Get out

If you think you are too attracted to her for a friendship to work without devolving into some sexual relationship with her, get out as fast as you can.

Here's why: refusing to be in a romantic relationship with a woman does not mean you won't be sexually attracted to her. And by being friends with someone sexy who clearly likes you, the chances of you getting carried away to the point of pursuing that sexual relationship becomes a lot more increased.

If you begin to have sex with her despite not desiring a relationship, it's essentially taking advantage of her because, obviously, she's interested in more than sex and she already mentioned that to you before you decided to use her for sex, instead.

Reasons why it's OK to fall in love with people you’re not compatible with

Posted: 07 Jun 2019 04:00 AM PDT

Reasons why it's OK to fall in love with people you're not compatible with
But what you do with that feeling is what decides whether you'll live your best love life or not.

To begin a relationship at all, partners need to have, at least, some form of symmetry, a meeting point of core values and mindset. This much cannot be denied.

You don't need compatibility to fall in love though

But in a relationship is the only sphere in which compatibility operates. Compatibility plays no part in deciding who you fall in love with.

As much as this might sound strange to you, it is just as correct as that common truth stated in the second paragraph above.

The reason for this is pretty obvious: you don't decide who you fall in love with. Falling in love is often random, unintentional.

Attraction for most people, is often inexplicable. You just find yourself attracted to someone for reasons you can't comprehend or explain, and that's OK. You're OK. Everyone goes through that phase.

Loving someone, being fiercely attracted to them could be beyond your power, but you have the power to either act on that attraction or not.

Should you act on an attraction to someone you have no compatibility with?
Absolutely not.

We have established that being incompatible with someone will not stop you from being attracted or in love with them.

But going on to act on that attraction when compatibility is obviously absent will end up in disaster. There can be no two ways to view this.

Ignoring the obvious disparities in values to enter a serious relationship with someone whose outlook on life differs from yours will end up in utter shambles.

You cannot afford a relationship with a guy or babe who sees life from a significantly different angle, through a different prism.

You will always never have a meeting point. You'll always be at loggerheads and it is not difficult to know that such relationship will only be filled with resentment.

Hey, is that the kind of relationship you want?

Beauty influencer Jackie Aina dazzles on Essence magazine's June 2019 digital cover

Beauty influencer Jackie Aina dazzles on Essence magazine's June 2019 digital cover
Jackie Aina, the American- Nigerian Youtube sensation has added another impressive notch to her belt by being featured on the June 2019 digital cover of black American magazine, Essence.

Taking to Instagram to announce the iconic cover, Jackie writes:

Trying to maintain composure but also internally screaming from keeping this a secret for so long!!!! thank you @essence for this game changer career moment the June digital cover!! to any girl who's ever dreamed of the impossible, it's possible! I'm living proof of it.

Jackie is a picture of metallic beauty as she sports a series of 'blinged out' looks complete with ice grey hair, metallic lips and serious bedazzled stiletto nails. In one image, t he beautiful Youtube wears a Marilyn Monroe-esque wig and turns up the heat with a sultry pose.

She speaks to ex-Vogue writer Marjon Carlos about how she got started in Youtube and why it means so much to her to champion POC causes in the beauty industry. She also gives fans an insight into her future plans.

Jackie Aina, who has become one the most watched influencers on Youtube recalls when she first fell in love with makeup and how it provided a form of escape for Jackie who was, at the time, trapped in an unhappy marriage. Essence writes, "The self-taught makeup artist explains that she found herself stuck in an unhappy marriage, living in Hawaii, isolated from friends and family and working in the Army as a reservist. A fascination with beauty, makeup and social media offered her a "creative outlet" that came along at the perfect time—an escape route from her current situation."

Jackie, a vocal advocate for women of colour in the beauty industry, also explains that she was driven to know more about makeup after encountering her own setbacks when it came to finding her shade. Essence writes, "But in that same breath, she says she was propelled to make YouTube videos as a way to directly confront the inequities that she and other Black women faced when shopping for beauty products. "I couldn't go to makeup counters and get the help that I needed. I would ask them like, 'Oh, how do I apply concealer?' Or, 'How do I contour?' And it was always like my skin tone was a deterrent to everything," she recalls. "According to them, it was like, 'Well, you're dark. So you can't really do that.' It was just like, 'Okay, I'm sure there's a way around it. You just have to know what you're doing.'"

Using her platform, Jackie has done incredible work for POC and even created foundation range extensions that champion diversity and inclusion. Jackie explains that she's very particular about the types of brand that she chooses to partner with in these endeavors. ''Are you employing disenfranchised people? Are you employing black people on your social teams? Are you making it holistically from the ground up so your brand represents the very products you're trying to sell on shelves?'" she probes. "I love when I see a team that's just got everybody, that there are voices from every community because that tells me that behind the scenes you're also walking the walk and you're not just trying to capitalize and cash in on the movement."

3 ways to deal with a loosed vagina 'tighten it up'

3 ways to deal with a loosed vagina 'tighten it up'
When it comes to the vagina, there are a lot of myths and misconceptions. Some people believe that vaginas can lose their elasticity and become loose forever but that's not exactly the case. Here's to busting myths and giving useful advice.

Your vagina is elastic which means it can stretch to accommodate things coming in, like a penis, or going out; a baby. However, that stretch won't take too long and your vagina will snap back into shape afterwards.

However, your vagina might become slightly looser as you age or have children, but on the whole, the muscles expand and contract, similar to a rubber band.

Despite what many people believe, there's no such thing as a "loose" vagina. Your vagina may change over time due to age and childbirth, but it won't lose its stretch permanently and it certainly won't become permanently misshapen.

The idea of having a 'loose' vagina has been historically used to shame women for having active sex lives and scaring them into believing that the more sexual partners they have, the more slack the vagina becomes. After all, a 'loose' vagina isn't used to describe a woman who has a lot of sex with her partner. It's primarily used to describe a woman who has had sex with more than one man.

The truth is, the amount of sexual partners you have had is irrelevant because penetration won't cause your vagina to stretch out permanently.

There are only two things can affect your vagina's elasticity: age and childbirth. Having sex often will not cause your vagina to stretch out permanently.F

Over time, childbirth and age could cause a slight, natural loosening of your vagina. Women who've had more than one vaginal birth are more likely to have weakened vaginal muscles. However, aging can cause your vagina to stretch slightly, regardless of whether you've had children. Naturally, your body will lose it's natural elasticity and affect your genitalia too.

Childbirth
It's natural for your vagina to change after a vaginal delivery. Your vaginal muscles stretch in order to let your baby pass through the birth canal and out of your vagina's entrance.

After your baby is born, you may notice that your vagina feels slightly looser than its usual form which is absolutely normal. Your vagina should start to return back to form after a few days after giving birth, although it may not return to its original shape completely.

If you've had multiple childbirths, your vaginal muscles are more likely to lose a little bit of elasticity.

It's also important to note that some women's vaginas are naturally more slack and wider than others which is purely down to genetics.

If you are uncomfortable with the state of your vagina and would like to tighten things up down there, there are a few things you can try to strengthen your vaginal floor muscles before, during, and after pregnancy.

Yoga
The real key to vaginal strength isn't your vagina at all, but your pelvic floor. The pelvic floor sits between your pelvic cavity and your perineum, which is the muscular area that's between your vagina and anus. Strength in this area gives you more control over your vagina, whether you want to hold back a stream of urine or have some assistance in child birth. Yoga has the unique ability to expertly strengthen your vaginal wall and pelvic floor.

Gentle movements in yoga can help you strengthen your vagina walls, your pelvic muscles, and muscles throughout your body. You can find simple yet effective exercises to try every day at home which will tighten everything up over time.

Vaginal Cones
An excellent natural way to strengthen the walls of your vagina is with vaginal cones. These cones come with varying weights attached to them. When you insert the vaginal cone into the vagina, the pelvic floor muscles must contract around the cone so that it does not fall out of the vagina.

The exercise, which has to be performed for 15 minutes twice a day and you can start with the lightest cone and gradually move on to heavier ones as your pelvic muscles become stronger. It's a great way of tracking your progress.

Kegel exercises
Kegel exercises strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, which support the uterus, bladder, small intestine and rectum. You can do Kegel exercises, also known as pelvic floor muscle training, just about anytime.

In order to identify your pelvic floor muscles, stop urination in midstream. Once you've identified your pelvic floor muscles you can do the exercises in any position, although you might find it easiest to do them lying down at first.

Kegels are very simple, just imagine you are sitting on a marble and tighten your pelvic muscles as if you're lifting the marble upwards. Try it for three seconds at a time, then relax for a count of three.

Kegel exercise has been proven to effectively help women regain their lost tightness and the great thing is that they can be done anywhere.

Age
You may begin to see a change in your vagina's elasticity starting in your 40s. As you age, your estrogen levels will begin to drop as you enter the perimenopausal stage.

A loss of estrogen means your vaginal tissue will become:

  • thinner
  • drier
  • less acidic
  • less stretchy or flexible

Nicolas Cage's wish of divorcing Erika Koike has been granted by a court in Nevada
According to TMZ, Nicolas Cage's divorce to Erika Koike was granted on Friday, May 31, 2019, by a Judge in Clark County, Nevada.

The short-lived marriage between Nicolas Cage and Erika Koike was marred by domestic violence barely hours after they said 'I do.' TMZ was able to share photos from a fight they had after they tied the knot.

Nicolas Cage's major grievance with Erika Koike was that she failed to reveal certain details about her past life which included the fact that she was already in a relationship when they decided to get married.

In the judgment given, Nicolas Cage had to settle for the usual divorce even though it is not clear if Erika is getting support. It would be recalled that Erika had opposed Nicolas Cage's annulment of their marriage even though she agreed that the marriage wasn't totally legal.

Lyta reveals he was never signed to YBNL Record Label (Video)

Posted: 07 Jun 2019 01:30 AM PDT

In the latter parts of 2018, Nigerian rapper, Olamide Adedeji also known as Olamide Badoo, picked a number of talented artists and marketed them with his record label, YBNL - springboard for artists like Lil Kesh and Adekunle Gold.

Some of those artists were social media sensations, Picazo Rhap and Yomi Blaize alongside Fireboy DML and Lyta. This came after the affiliation with rapper, Davolee. The artists – asides Davolee – all made the collaboration album, YBNL Mafia released by the label in December 2018.

After unconfirmed rumours that Davolee has left YBNL for greener pastures, Lyta became the object of the media.. The singer has since come out to tell Naijaloaded TV that while the label will always be a part of his story, he was never signed to YBNL.

During the interview, the singer says, "I don't have any deal with YBNL or Olamide. Olamide saw me on the street and helped me, I don't have any written contract with him… YBNL and Olamide with always be part of my story. God bless Olamide, thank you for everything. No love lost."

On the benefits of his affiliation with YBNL, the singer says, "Yes, I was getting benefits. The used to pay me for shows. Sometimes 80k, 60k to 50k. But when I dropped my songs, 'Temi' and 'Selfmade,' I didn't get anything."

While the singer also spoke about his family's dire financial state, and his mother's sight issues, he claims other people have shown interests in signing him.
