Toyin Lawani promises to marry 3 husbands when she clocks 40, calls it 'Gender Equality'

Toyin Lawani is questioning the double standards that allows men to marry multiple wives but frowns at women doing same.

She has now said she will marry 3 husbands when she turns 40 because if a man can do it then so can she.

According to the serial entrepreneur, she will build houses for each of her husbands and there will be a main house where the men will meet her when it's their turn. She went on to tell men that the world is changing and women can now do what men can do but men can't do what women can. She used pregnancy as an example.

Actress Ruth Kadiri Welcomes First Child

Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri is now a mum. The actress welcomed her first child today, August 21, 2019.

She shared a photo of  of her rocking her baby bump on Instagram and her colleagues have flooded her timeline on Instagram with congratulatory messages.


According to reports, the actress held her wedding in November last year, but on a low key. Ruth Kadiri who has remained secretive about the state of her marital status in IG post a few months ago advised women to choose their spouses wisely so as to avoid getting divorced.

Big congrats to her and her hubby, Mr Ezerika.

Femi Otedola recently shaded his daughter DJ Cuppy in a hilarious and sarcastic post.

Recently, Femi Otedola shared a video on Instagram in which his celebrity daughter DJ Cuppy was being interviewed on a radio show about her new song Gelato. During the interview, she was asked if her father was tired of having his name being blared all over.

DJ Cuppy laughed and said that he was actually exhausted already. The fact that his signature surname is on the lips of everyone has made him really tired. As a caption to the video which he shared on his Instagram page, Femi Otedola confirmed DJ Cuppy's words.


He jovially said that he is tired, not just of the lyrics of the Gelato song, but of his daughter. His exact words were these: "Getting tired of my daughter Miss #Gelato."

Laura Ikeji kicks against flogging of kids, says it should be made illegal

Fashion entrepreneur, Laura Ikeji has called on the Nigerian government to make flogging of kids illegal.

While capital punishment in Nigerian schools remains an issue of debate as some have argued that it is another form of physical abuse, it appears there are lots of schools still practicing this form of punishment.

Nigerian fashion entrepreneur, Laura Ikeji, recently took to social media to call on the government to make it illegal for children to be flogged in schools. According to her, the government should ensure that teachers lose their jobs if they flog kids.


She wrote: "Dear Nigerian Government, can u make flogging children illegal in all schools?? I know the law was passed I think a few years ago but some schools still do it. Let's enforce it, u flog a child u loose ur job and get charged to court. We re not animals. Kids re off limits."

In another tweet, she stated that flogging should also be made illegal for parents as people who flog their kids do not deserve to be parents.

In her words:

"Dear Nigerian Government, can we enforce that same rule on parents, u flog your child in a bad way, the child be taken from u. U don't deserve to be a parent, illiteracy isn't an excuse, ignorance isn't an excuse either. I understand spanking but flogging should be illegal."

Former member of the defunct Plantashun Boiz, Black Face, has sent a cease and desist letter to 2baba, Faze and Ruggedman.

It appears the age-long beef between Black Face and his former Plantashun Boiz members, 2baba and Faze is nowhere close to ending as he recently sent them; including Ruggedman, a cease and desist letter regarding performing materials belonging to Plantashun Boiz at their various events.

According to him, his decision was influenced by his need to stop them from damaging the brand any further due to their lack of proper preparations and rehearsals. The document further stated that the two should focus on performing materials solely made by them.

Sharing the legal document, he wrote: 'Over the years this act of going to perform materials of #PlantashunBoiz at events without rehearsals and proper preparations has prompted me and my legal team to sound this as an advice to @ruggedybaba @2baba_official1 & @fazealone not to continue damaging the image of the #band and concentrate on performing works solely made by them individually and none from the #band or written by myself…thank you.

Model, Ade Williams speaks on being pregnant for Kizz Daniel

Just recently, the report of an Instagram model, Ade Williams being pregnant for Kizz Daniel, made the rounds on social media.

According to the report, the model used to be Davido's side piece and when his relationship with Chioma became public, she moved on with Kizz Daniel and is now with his child.


In a post shared on her Instastory, the model has denied the claim as she called it a misinformation.

She posted:

"It has come to my attention that some news has been going on about my involvement with Kiss Daniel and Davido and same is false. And I will respond to the source of the misinformation in due course."

In a video making the rounds, newly evicted housemate, Joe has sent a public apology to Tacha and other housemates he might have offended in the house.

Recall that Joe had a serious misunderstanding with Tacha during his time in the house. As a matter of fact, the misunderstanding almost led to a physical fight until the other housemates intervened.

The fight started when Joe used Tacha's name to cite an example and Tacha complained and warned him not to ever use her name again for such examples.

Joe turned a deaf ear to her and continued mentioning her name and this made Tacha angry as she kept on shouting "You are stupid" repeatedly.

Joe was evicted during the last Sunday live eviction show alongside Enkay as they gathered the lowest votes.

A video of evicted BBNaija housemate, Jeff saying Tacha is an empty barrel has been making the rounds on social media.

Jeff, who was apparently invited to a talk show was spotted with a fellow evicted housemate, Tuoyo, and popular Nigerian TV presenter, Shade Ladipo amongst others.

The conversation which was centered on their experiences in the house eventually veered towards Tacha and Ebuka.

Recall that during one of the live eviction shows, the host, Ebuka asked her to define the meaning of characteristics and unfortunately, she couldn't.

Ebuka expressed disappointment at the reply he got and he made his feelings known by telling Tacha that she did not give a smart answer like he expected.


Nigerians started bashing Tacha and even her fellow housemates joined in poking fun at her but that was all forgotten and left in the past.

In the new video seen, Jeff stated that Ebuka was a grown man and it was difficult for grown men to understand empty barrels. He went on to add that he wonders how Seyi, Tacha's closest friend in the house does it.

Nigerians immediately stormed Jeff's Instagram page and started blasting and laying heavy curses on him.

Popular Nigerian singer and rapper, Lil Kesh has finally given us evidence, confirming the rumors of him dating Iyabo Ojo's daughter, Priscilla.

On his Instagram page, he posted a picture of himself and Priscilla posing by his lovely bike and he captioned, "When I see you I know say Nkan Be," accompanied with a love emoji.

His caption said it all. The photo and caption is enough evidence and proof that he and Priscilla are in a proper relationship or an intending relationship.

Recall that it was reported earlier that Priscilla also posted a photo of her posing by Lil Kesh's bike and also, a few months ago, Lil Kesh shared a video on his Insta story of them having fun in the car while on their way to an event.

Little girl allegedly flogged to death by her father in Akure

A little girl less than 10 years old was allegedly beaten to death by her father in Akure, Ondo state yesterday August 21st.

Twitter user @YemieFASH who shared the shocking story online, said a woman took the girl's corpse to the state hospital in Akure but fled with the corpse after the girl was certified dead.

Efforts are currently being made to identify and arrest the woman who brought the child to the hospital

This beautiful girl based in Jos, Plateau State has been missing for over 5 days after leaving her house to go on a date with a yet to be identified man she met on Facebook.

The girl named Sadiya has lost contact with family members and her mobile phone has been switched off.

Efforts are being made on social media to create awareness about her missing status and find her.

Over the past weekend, and American rapper, 50 Cent hosted the Tycoon Pool Party Weekend in New York, US.

The party was attended by celebrities and public figures like Trey Songz, DJ Envy, YFN Lucci, Fabolous, Bow Wow and so forth. The party also played host to a performance by Nigerian superstar, Davido.


The singer went on stage and performed hits like 'Fall,' and 'IF.' You might remember that earlier in 2019, 'Fall' became a huge success in the American digital space and ran up the Billboard Digital Song Sales charts. So, the crowd had knowledge of the song.

During the performance for 'IF,' Trey Songz joined Davido in rendition. 50 Cent, DJ Envy and DJ Spin King also joined Davido a hypemen during his performance for 'IF.'

However, they were not done. Davido then proceeded to perform at the premiere of the 50 Cent-produced hit TV Series, Power at Madison Square Garden, New York in the late hours of Tuesday, August 20, 2019.

While on stage, 50 Cent again joined him on stage for support and hyped the Nigerian singer as he performed 'Fall.'

Princess Shyngle called out for ‘Stealing’ the body of an American model

Actress Princess Shyngle has been exposed after she lifted an Instagram model's photo and passed off as her own on Instagram.

The drama started after she posted the photo on Instagram though with the model's head 'missing'. She also dragged those she claimed blamed her after getting cheated on by her boyfriend in the Instagram post.


But it wasn't long before someone identified the woman in the post to be Miss Lulu Simmons. Simmons had shared the full photo on her Instagram in 2017.


Simmons was also notified, and she quickly reacted, saying: "Weirdo energy.. can you guys tell @princesshyngle1 to delete my photo off her page. I already asked nicely but then blocks me."


Shortly after, Princess Shyngle deleted the post but had yet to apologise to the American model as at press time.

A young lady identified as Ndem Jacinta Chinenye, a graduate of the University of Nigeria Nsukka, was among corpers who were killed in a recent crash.

Chinenye, who was serving at High Court of Justice Katsina State was killed in the crash which occurred on Sunday alongside others.

Now, her last Facebook past before she died, has been unearthed.

She wrote: "Never say never,

Meanwhile, friends have taken to social media to mourn her. Nwite Sampson wrote:
