| Photo: Lagos State pulled down Fela’s statue at Allen Avenue Posted: 15 Jan 2020 01:00 AM PST  The statue of late Afrobeat Legend, Fela Kuti, which was built at Allen Avenue, Ikeja has been pulled down by the Lagos State Government.The spokesman to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Gboyega Akosile revealed that the statue was pulled down because the roundabout where it was located was identified as one of the four locations in Lagos that cause traffic gridlock.He also stated that the statue will be moved to a location that doesn't experience traffic gridlock.   |
