The drama started when Omalicha posted the photo below and a fan, simply identified Fitron Mayor went straight into her DM to advice the actress to hide her stretch mark. Obviously, the advice didn't go down well with the Ebonyi State actress and she exposed their private chat on her page to call him out. She wrote: "Some people can be so rude, stupid and foolish….just look at this son of a depressed bitch sliding into my dm to body shame me and still saying "peace". May peace be far from you till you die, ugly bastard @fitronmayor @fitronmayor. "

Iceberg Slim finally responds to critics who try to shame him for cheating on Juliet Ibrahim Posted: 07 Feb 2020 12:30 AM PST Olusegun Olowokere, popularly known as Iceberg Slim, is tired of people trying to shame him for cheating on actress Juliet Ibrahim. The Nigerian rapper took to his Instagram Story to address the "self-righteous" people who regularly call him out for cheating. He said he doesn't "downplay" or try to "justify" what he did but that he has "owned" it, learnt from it and moved on. He wrote: "Na cheat I cheat, I no kill person." He added that he has "fallen into the trap of trying to explain" himself when what happened was no one's business "but his and the person he was involved with." He then went on to reiterate to his critics that what happened in his past relationship is "NO ONE's business." She made this known after actress Tonto Dikeh exposed people who share pictures from their expensive vacations which some people see and get pulled into depression. Scotland Yard investigates David Cameron's bodyguard over loaded gun left in plane toilet Posted: 06 Feb 2020 08:24 AM PST Mr. David Cameron, former prime minister of Britain Police in Scotland Yard is allegedly investigating former prime minister of Britain, Mr. David Cameron's bodyguard, who reportedly left his gun in an aeroplane toilet. The weapon was found by a passenger, who handed it to flight attendants on a transatlantic flight, the Daily Mail reports. According to the report, the gun which is believed to be a 9mm Glock 17 pistol, was allegedly left by a close-protection officer who took off his holster while using the toilet. The report also said, that Passports belonging to Mr Cameron and the officer were also found alongside the weapon, according to reports. The Metropolitan Police in a statement said: "We are aware of the incident on a flight into the UK on February 3 and the officer involved has since been removed from operational duties. "We are taking this matter extremely seriously and an internal investigation is taking place." Mr Cameron, as a former prime minister, is entitled to continued security provided by the Met's Specialist Protection unit. Source

Donald Trump Emerge Victorious, As US Senate Ends Impeachment Trial Posted: 06 Feb 2020 05:25 AM PST United States of America The US Senate has voted to acquit President Donald Trump of impeachment charges brought by the House Democrats, ending the attempt to oust him from the White House ahead of the November 2020 elections. The process kicked off in September 2019, over allegations that Trump improperly sought foreign influence in the 2020 election by demanding a corruption investigation in Ukraine. Last week, the Senate rejected a proposal by Democrats to call additional witnesses, in a 49-51 vote that saw Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Mitt Romney (R-Utah) cross the aisle. The president's lawyers argued that all the relevant testimonies and documents should have been produced during the proceedings in the House, which ended on December 18, 2019 with a partisan vote to impeach Trump. No House Republicans supported the articles of impeachment. They were joined by two Democrats who voted against the first article and three who voted against the second, while another – presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) – voted "present" on both. Even though the Democrats argued that impeachment was necessary because Trump was a "clear and present danger" to "our democracy," House Speaker Nancy then waited four weeks to send the case to the Senate. There, Democrats argued that additional witnesses were needed to establish the exact circumstances of Trump's decision to withhold military aid to Ukraine in order to – they claimed – pressure the government in Kiev into investigating a political rival ahead of the 2020 election. The claim originated with an unnamed intelligence community "whistleblower," who alerted House Intelligence Committee chair Adam Schiff (D-California) of the phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in July 2019. Schiff and his team of impeachment managers argued that Trump withholding the aid was an attempt at pressuring Kiev into investigating corruption at Burisma, a gas company that had hired the son of Vice President Joe Biden in 2014. Biden is now one of the candidates for the 2020 presidential nomination, and Democrats argued this amounted to foreign interference in the election. Calling this an abuse of power, Democrats also charged Trump with "obstruction of Congress" for invoking executive privilege and refusing to allow some of the White House officials to testify in impeachment proceedings. Trump's lawyers argued that Schiff's subpoenas had no validity until the House voted to actually authorize the impeachment process, on October 31. They also said that the president's actions were perfectly consistent with his constitutional authority, that investigating Burisma did not amount to Ukrainian interference in US elections, and that Trump was denied due process rights because Democrats did not give the Republican minority a hearing day or the right to call their own witnesses The acquittal comes a day after Trump's triumphant State of the Union speech, and the embarrassing fiasco of the Democrats' caucuses in Iowa, where even according to incomplete and questionable results, Biden ended up fourth. Trump is only the third US president ever to be impeached in the House, after Andrew Johnson in 1868 and Bill Clinton in 1999. In all three cases, the impeachment failed in the Senate, allowing the president to stay in office. Contrary to popular opinion, Richard Nixon was never impeached – he resigned before the official proceedings could begin, in August 1973. Source

Natacha further shared a seminar with the girls, on maintaining menstrual hygiene, where she talked about menstruation and how the female students should carry themselves while on their periods. President of Actors Guild, speaks on Ernest Azuzu’s illness Posted: 06 Feb 2020 04:30 AM PST The President, Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Mr. Emeka Rollas, has finally spoken on the plan of the AGN board over the rehabilitation of actor Ernest Asuzu, who has been down with a stroke for years. Ernest was seen begging on the streets of Lagos a few days ago. Speaking with NAN, Emeka Rollas said; "We appreciate all the concerns and show of love from members and the public over Asuzu's plight, but I need to point out here that AGN has never abandoned him. "He went for rehabilitation at the Mercy Land Christ Deliverance Ministry, Warri, Delta, by Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, a spiritual patron of our guild. "He spent some months and recovered," he said. Rollas added that Fufeyin gave Asuzu gifts including money and a jeep, after the rehabilitation, to further support him. " Since he left Warri, we have not heard from him." He continued saying; "All of a sudden, the young man made a defamatory video. "We totally frown at this erroneous and misdirected act because it is unimaginable to think or believe that we did not play a role to an actor who has fallen due to hard times. "The point I am driving at here is that it is unfair to blame an entire industry for the unfortunate turnaround of one of its own," the AGN boss said.

Slimcase – Banning Okada in Lagos state is the best decision ever Posted: 06 Feb 2020 03:00 AM PST Nigerian singer, Slimcase has expressed his satisfaction over the Government's decision to ban motorcycles and the tricycles in some parts of Lagos State. Daffy Blanco shares more details of her rape allegation against Peruzzi Posted: 06 Feb 2020 02:30 AM PST Daffy Blanco, the singer who accused Peruzzi of sexually harassing her has shared more details of the incident she said occurred the night Timaya headlined the industry night over a year ago. In an interview with Kiss FM OAPs Dami and Imma, the singer disclosed that she "clicked" with the DMW act the first day they met. According to Daffy Blanco, Peruzzi came over to her hotel room on the night of the incident before taking her to a recording studio in Davido' house, where he allegedly claimed he wanted her to listen to some of his songs. She alleged that everything went sour after Peruzzi played one or two of his tracks. She further disclosed that they tried to sort things out after the incident which occurred over a year before her outburst, but it never worked. Daffy insisted that Peruzzi who charged her N1.5m to write a song for her, breached their agreement and she doesn't see herself working with him anymore. The singer also pointed out that Peruzzi has been silent over the incident because he knows the gravity of the allegation, unlike other "scandals" he thrashed out on social media.
