| Cubana Chief Priest hails Prophet Odumeje 'Indaboski' calls him his “Brother” Posted: 12 May 2020 10:00 PM PDT  Celebrity bar man, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest has declared his love for controversial prophet, Chukwuemeka Odumeje.In a live video session with the prophet, Cubana mentioned that he has accepted the self-proclaimed 'liquid metal' as his prophet.The bar man also commended the popular cleric for his works and being real despite the negativity from many Nigerians.Meanwhile, Odumeje appears to have gotten himself in trouble, following a recent call by the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) for his arrest.The association in a recent statement urged the CBN governor to order the arrest of the prophet for his abuse of the national currency.   |
| Two Chinese arrested by EFCC for offering N100m bribe to its top Officer Posted: 12 May 2020 02:57 PM PDT  Nigeria's leading Anti-Graft Agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, who is charged with the responsibility of Investigation and Enforcement of all Economic and Financial Crimes Laws in Nigeria has arrested two Chinese.The two Chinese national, Mr. Meng Wei Kun and Mr. Xu Koi were arrested by the Sokoto Zonal Office of the Commission, for offering a sum of N50,000,000 as bribe to its Zonal Head, Mr. Abdullahi Lawal.The N50,000,000 bribe was offered as first installment after official of the commission played along with the culprits.According to the Anti-Graft Agency, "the bribe was allegedly offered in a desperate bid to compromise ongoing investigations of a construction company, China Zhonghao Nig. Ltd, handling contracts awarded by the Zamfara State Government in the sum of N50,000,000,000.00(Fifty Billion Naira) between 2012 to 2019"."The zonal office of the Commission is investigating the construction company, in connection with the execution of contracts for the construction of township roads in Gummi, Bukkuyun, Anka and Nassarawa towns of Zamfara state; and also the construction of one hundred and sixty eight (168) solar- powered boreholes in the 14 local government areas of the state"."Alarmed by the consistency and professionalism of investigation being conducted, the company reached out to Lawal with an offer of N100,000,000( One Hundred Million Naira) as bribe to "bury" the matter"."In a grand design to trap the corrupt officials, Lawal played along. |
| E-Money's escorts withdrawn by Inspector General of Police over misuse of uniform men Posted: 12 May 2020 02:27 PM PDT The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the immediate withdrawal of the escorts attached to music mogul and businessman, Emeka Okonkwo also known as E-Money. According to the report, the IG ordered the withdrawal following complaints about his misuse of the police escorts.The Lagos state police command's spokesperson, Bala Elkana in a chat with blogger, Linda Ikeji confirmed the news of the withdrawal of the police escorts. "Yes I can confirm that policemen have been withdrawn from him," he said. This latest development is coming on the heels of the report that Okonkwo has been misusing and abusing the privilege of having police escorts.  According to the reports, the authorities accused him of using his police escorts like they were his domestic servants with some of them posing in photos as they opened the doors of his cars for him, hold his umbrella and many unofficial duties.  Emeka Okonkwo is the owner of the record label, 5 Star Music and brother to Nigerian music star, Kcee.  |

Posted: 12 May 2020 07:30 AM PDT  The comedian shared the news during a Mothers Day post via Instagram.Kevin Hart has finally revealed the gender of the baby his family is about to welcome.Hart had revealed that he was expecting a second child with Eniko a few months ago.In a very cute Mothers Day message shared via his Instagram page on Sunday, May 10, 2020, the comedian revealed that they are expecting a baby girl. "Happy Mother's Day to this beautiful woman & wife of mine...We love you @enikohart...And we are thrilled about the arrival of our baby girl...Family of 6 WOOOOOOOOW!!!! God is unbelievable...We are blessed to have you in our lives. All I can say is thank you honey.... #Harts," he wrote.   The couple announced that they were expecting another child back in March. Eniko and Kevin already have a two-year-old son while Kevin shares daughter Heaven, 15, and son Hendrix, 12, with ex-wife Torrei Hart.  They welcomed their first baby back in 2017. Showkey had expressed his shock at the manner people disobeyed the government's directive after weeks of shutdown due to coronavirus.In a video shared via his Instagram page on Monday, May 11, 2020, the music veteran apologised over the comments he made a few days ago about those who violated the ease of the lockdown guidelines.According to him, he was sorry for the tone in which he used in passing across his message, insisting that he was only trying to address the actions of the violators. "I am very sorry for the tone of voice that I used to address the people and the harsh words. I was only trying to pass and address the actions showed by the people but I know things are not easy right for everybody during this time," he wrote. "We should all please maintain social distance and abide by the rules given by the health workers and WHO. I am sorry for my tone and insultive words I used. Once again I'm sorry. The lady who was on Instagram live with comedian, Michael Blackson stated that the Yoruba man owns a business in Turkey and she started working with him when they started dating. However, the romantic relationship ended after she got pregnant for him. Speaking further, the lady revealed that the Yoruba man travelled to Germany and married his first baby mama same month he got her pregnant. The Turkish lady also disclosed that she named her baby after an Igbo man who helped her out of her condition.  |
| Zubby Micheal slams those who said he got spiritual powers from Odumeje Posted: 12 May 2020 05:00 AM PDT  Nollywood actor Zubby Michael, has denied being a church member of controversial Nigerian clergyman, Odumeje, who is renowned for a number of unorthodox practices.Recall that in 2019, videos had circulated the internet of Zubby dancing and jumping alongside Odumeje as the latter went on with his deliverance and prophesies.But on Sunday, the 35-year-old thespian took to his Instagram page to lash out at those he said were spreading false claims that he got spiritual powers for his Nollywood success from Odumeje. Admitting that he had known the controversial clergyman as a friend back in Onitsha, Zubby added that he doesn't go to church, talk more of having the self-acclaimed 'Indaboski' as a pastor.  According to him, Odumeje had once graced his housewarming party by doling out over N1 million in cash while he reciprocated the gesture by giving N500,000 during the pastor's birthday party.
