Big Brother Naija's #Pepperdem Reunion to premiere in June

 Big Brother Naija organizers have announced the premiere of the reunion show for the last season.

Ahead of the anticipated fifth season, fans are about to be ushered into another highly dramatic screen time headlined by the show's 2019 housemates.

According to organizers, the reunion show will premiere June 1, 2020, on Africa Magic Family and Urban.


As is the norm, the show, headlined by Ebuka, will revisit some memorable moments from the 2019 edition that saw Mercy Eke emerge winner. The show will also feature the Pepper Dem housemates as they share their post Big Brother house experience.

 The actor's estranged wife said it is high time people move on from their failed marriage.

Nollywood actor, Blossom Chukwujekwu's estranged wife, Maureen Esisi has warned a nosy follower over comments made about their failed marriage.

The businesswoman made this known via her Instagram page on Monday May 25, 2020, where she reacted to a message she got from the nosy follower.

"I thought your husband dumped you because you were barren and promiscuous?" the nosy follower wrote.


 Esisi warned the follower to desist from making damaging comments about her failed marriage, insisting that everyone should move on as the union ended over a year.

"Shit I Receive Daily... First Scape Goat!!!!!... When will this End???... The Relationship Sailed almost a Year ago. Can y'all negative people move past it??? Please?????? Enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is calm, But me I am not well oooooo," she wrote.


"I have been trying to face front for a while now but y'all keep making me mad Asf!!!!!! Have sense ooo, My name is Red ooo, I don't just bark, I Dey bite ooo... Toni Payne – AY Makun refused to allow Olamide perform at his show only to beg for him after he blew

In recent times, the Nigerian entertainment industry has been causing quite a buzz on social media as it has led to artistes, show promoters, managers, etc, calling each other out.

It was the turn of former talent manager, Toni Payne, to call out popular comedian, AY Makun. The young lady recounted her experience with the comedian.According to her, she and AY used to be very cool until when she asked him for a favour concerning the artiste she was managing at the time, Olamide.

Payne had begged AY to allow Olamide perform at his show, a request that was turned down because the singer was not popular enough.

Explaining further, Payne said that Olamide had started to do well a year later and then AY showed up conveniently needing a favour. He had asked for Olamide to perform as a 'friend of the house'.Payne said that her plan was to ask for payment and even double their regular fee but that ID Cabassa begged on the comedian's behalf.

COVID-19 survivors warn – Avoid sex for 30 days or risk spreading virus

Health experts have warned recovering COVID-19 patients to avoid sex for 30 days or risk spreading the virus, since evidence has now proven that the virus can spread through semen.

Some researchers from Shangqiu Municipal Hospital took semen samples from 38 male coronavirus patients in China's Henan province, and after careful analysis found out that 16% of the men had traces of the virus in their semen.




Aside from semen, coronavirus can also be found in respiratory particles, which means kissing could also be off the cards.

According to a report by The Mirror, Veerawat Manosutthi, a senior medical expert at the Thai Disease Control Department, advised that patients who have overcome COVID-19 should avoid getting intimate for 30 days, he even went ahead to warn them against kissing. He said;

"Those who believe themselves to be free of the virus should use condoms when having sex. Kissing should also be avoided as it is also known that it can spread through the mouth."

Another doctor, Dr. Simran Deo, a UK-based doctor at Zava UK, also said:

"Conditions like coronavirus are spread through water or mucus droplets from the nose and mouth containing the virus. So things, like kissing, shaking hands, sharing food, and drink with someone, put people at an increased risk of passing on the infection."

Whereabouts of 15 Chinese doctors in Nigeria finally revealed

Managing Director, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) Nigeria Ltd, Michael Yigao, says the 15 Chinese medical experts that arrived in the country on April 8 are in the company's care.

Yigao made the disclosure on Monday in Abuja while reacting to questions raised by the media and opposition parties on May 14, as to the whereabouts of the Chinese medical team. 

This followed comment by the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, that the experts, who reportedly came into Nigeria to support the fight against COVID-19, were not his guests but those of CCECC.

Ehanire, while responding to questions at the daily Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 briefing May 14, said "the medical personnel are not guests of the Federal Government but that of the construction company".



Yigao, who corroborated this while speaking with newsmen, confirmed that the experts came into the country to share their experiences in fighting the COVID-19.

It will be recalled that some Nigerians had kicked against the decision to invite the medical experts, saying the country had enough doctors to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) even described the move as an embarrassment to the association and other health workers who were giving their best in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic under "deplorable working conditions".


However, Yigao clarified that the team came specially to help CCECC fight this pandemic and protect its employees.

"The team had a telecast meeting with the Minister of Health and some doctors around the country and shared their experience in China on how they're fighting the virus and the meeting was very positive.

" They are here with us and have continued to teach our staff how to protect themselves because protection and prevention are more important than the treatment.

"Most of the workers understand the situation now and they know the risk, so they follow the proper procedures and cooperate with their instructors,'' he said.

He said the medical experts would be heading home as soon as there was a commercial flight to China.

"Right now, commercial flight to China is not open, but when flights are open again, we're considering the team going back to China."

President Buhari Extends ‘Gradual Ease Of COVID-19 Lockdown’ By Two Weeks

President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered that precision lockdowns be implemented in areas recording high rates of coronavirus infections in the country.

The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, disclosed this at the daily briefing of the task force in Abuja.

He said, "The reality is that in spite of the modest progress made, Nigeria is not yet ready for full opening of the economy and tough decisions have to be taken for the good of the greater majority.

"Any relaxation will only portend grave danger for our populace. Advisedly, the current phase of eased restriction will be maintained for another two weeks during which stricter enforcement and persuasion measures will be pursued."

For the avoidance of doubt, the SGF added that "Mr President has approved the following: (i) ​The measures, exemptions, advisories, and scope of entities allowed to reopen under phase one of the eased locked down, shall be maintained across the federation for another two weeks effective from 12 00 midnight today (18th May, 2020 to 1st June, 2020);

"(ii) ​intensifying efforts to 'tell (communicate), trace (identify) and treat (manage)' cases;

"(iii) ​elevating the level of community ownership of non-pharmaceutical interventions;

"(iv)​ Maintain the existing lockdown order in Kano for an additional two weeks;

"(v) ​Imposition of precision lockdown in states, or in metropolitan/high-burden LGAs, that are reporting a rapidly increasing number of cases, when the need arises. This would be complemented with the provision of palliatives and continued re-evaluation of the impact of the interventions; and

"(vi)​ Aggressive scale-up of efforts to ensure that communities are informed, engaged and participating in the response with enhanced public awareness in high-risk states."

 American reality star, Kim Kardashian commemorated her sixth wedding anniversary to husband, rapper Kanye West.

The mother-of-four, 39, marked the occasion on social media by posting a set of pictures with her arms around her husband. In one, she's seen kissing him on the cheek, and in the other, they're both smiling at the camera.

"6 years down; forever to go, Until the end." she captioned the sweet snapshots.

They were married in 2014 at Fort di Belvedere, a 16th century fortress in Florence, Italy, and have four children, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
