Burna Boy recently made some area boys happy after he made a surprise appearance and gifted them some cash.

The self-acclaimed African Giant was driving through a street in Lagos when he came across a cluster of fans that spotted him.

Instead of driving off, the singer pulled up by the roadside in his multi-million Ferrari ride. The fans who appeared to be over 50 surrounded the luxury car and started chanting 'Odogwu'.


Shortly after, Burna Boy beckoned on one of them and handed over a wad of N1000 bills to him.

The singer instructed the guy to make sure the money goes round for everyone present.

Actress Blessing Ofoegbu – It’s not been easy living three months without sex

Nollywood actress, Blessing Ofoegbu has confessed that she's sex starved.

According to her, this was due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its attendant lockdown and social distancing rule.

Counting her losses, Blessing told Inside Nollywood that it has been three months since she had intimate affairs with her lover.

"COVID-19 era is such a trying moment for all of us. This is a time for everyone to reflect and sober up on the true meaning of life. I had the quietest time of my life in the last three months. We all need each other to survive.

"I miss life in its state of normalcy. It gets so uncomfortable staying indoors without any outside relationship. It's more like being held up in a cell. For once, in my life, I understood what being a prisoner looks like.


"I missed my lover and loved ones. I have to be honest; I miss sex a lot. But because of social distancing, I have to be on isolation mood. It has not been easy," she explained.

Ruggedman – "You are quick to tag me when there is a problem but very slow to support"

Nigerian rapper Ruggedman has taken to social media to express his disappointment at his fans over their unsupportive nature.

The entertainer in a post shared on his official Instagram page said people are very quick to tag him on social media whenever there is a trending issue that needs to be amplified but the same set of people are slow to support him.

Ruggedman said whenever he shares videos of people that have suffered some form of injustice, he gets as much as 20k views.

He, however, noted that even after begging people to subscribe to his YouTube page he has barely managed to garner as much as a thousand followers.

"I post your trouble, go out of my way to help you out of it and get 20k views. I ask you to click link in my bio and subscribe to my You Tube channel and struggle to get 1k subscribers," the rapper's post read in part.

Ruggedman went on to note that such people end up coming to social media to speak about injustice. Reiterating the subject, the veteran star added that only a few people bother to check up on him and as about his welfare.

Director of popular Animation Film, Shrek 2, Dies at 60

Kelly Asbury, the American animator and Director of several popular Oscar awards nominated films has died at the age of 60.

Famous among his works are "Shrek 2" and "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron,"

He died on Friday June 26, in Los Angeles, USA following a long battle with abdominal cancer, a representative for Asbury, Nancy Newhouse Porter confirmed in a statement.

Asbury who began his career at Walt Disney Feature Animation in 1983, directed five animated feature films during his career: "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron," which was released in 2002; "Shrek 2″ in 2004, which he co-directed with Conrad Vernon; 2011's "Gnomeo & Juliet"; 2017's "Smurfs: The Lost Village"; and his final directorial effort was 2019's "Ugly Dolls."

He also earned credits for his work on "The Little Mermaid," Tim Burton's "The Nightmare Before Christmas," "James and the Giant Peach," "The Prince of Egypt," "Chicken Run," "Shrek," "Wreck-It Ralph," "Frozen" and "Sherlock Gnomes."

Moreover, Asbury earned himself credit as a writer in the 1991 film "Beauty and the Beast" and worked as a story artist on "Toy Story" in 1995 and both "Kung Fu Panda" and "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa" in 2008.

The late Director is however survived by his wife, Jacquie Boggs and stepsons Andrew and Connor Boggs.

Lady cries out after Rema took a girl on a romantic date, claims Singer dumped her

A Nigerian lady identified as Kim Annie on Facebook has taken to the platform to express her pain after the 'love of her life', Rema took a female fan on a romantic date.

Recall, the young Nigerian singer recently showered one of his female fans with love after she engaged in one of his contests and emerged winner.

Rema had taken the girl on a romantic date, where he kissed her on the neck, danced with her and even took her on a shopping spree at a clothing store in Lagos.


Reacting to the news, Kim poured out her heart for the singer and how she has been in pain ever since the video of their romantic date was shared on social media.

In her words;


"Loml.Candy crush. Cream pie. Prince charming. My world. Hubby. How would you break my heart like this. Bby I love you so much.

You shattered my heart and cheated on me. I know I would get over this shock I just pray i get over this pain. How do you expect me to take this news. Even my mom knows am really in pain.

Actress Etinosa – Internet fraudsters should be arrested alongside their girlfriends

Etinosa Idemudia has expressed her displeasure at the police for arresting fraudsters and leaving out their girlfriends. She added that they are accomplices to the crimes committed by their lovers.

She said this with reference to Hushpuppi's girlfriend who is enjoying her life with her new boyfriend on the gram, regardless of the pain her ex-lover is going through.

We earlier reported that Hushpuppi and his alleged accomplices were arrested by Dubai police officers in an operation that was dubbed Fox Hunt 2.

She shared a video on her Instagram page where she can be heard saying;

"There's one nonsense thing Police does that i do not like. When they successfully arrest an internet fraudster, they will not arrest the girlfriend, it is not fair. They are supposed to arrest the both of them because if they don't do that, the girl might go on to meet another boy after she must her enjoyed the money of the former boyfriend."

'Domitila' sequel will open in cinemas in 2021, Here's everything you need to know

It is undoubtedly the season of remakes and sequels of Nollywood classics and the latest on the list of productions is 1996 crime drama 'Domitila'.

The sequel will be co produced by FilmOne Entertainment, Zeb Ejiro Productions and Omoni Oboli's Dioni Visions.

The upcoming feature film will reportedly be directed by Zeb Ejiro and will grace theaters by the first quarter of 2021. Production is however billed to kick-off later on in the year.

Speaking on the upcoming project, FilmOne Entertainment co-founders Kene Okwuosa and Moses Babatope shared their excitement in a press statement. "We are happy to once again, bring magic to the big screen by producing this breathtaking movie. In 'Domitila', we have identified an entertaining and artistic masterpiece that would appeal to different generations of film lovers; and to know we are partnering with great professionals in Zeb Ejiro and Omoni Oboli is soothing. Thus, we look forward to a phenomenal accomplishment".


Zeb Ejiro who owns directorial credit for the 1996 acclaimed film shared, "When we first made 'Domitila', it was a story inspired by societal challenges that have over time, proven to not only be akin to the '90s, but trans-generational; and so, in recognition of its relevance in these times, we have decided to make a sequel to the story, factoring recent socio-cultural advancements".


'Domitila' sequel creative director, Omoni Oboli also disclosed how pleased she is to be working on a Nollywood classic.

"When I was a teenager, I auditioned for 'Domitilla' but I didn't get any part; perhaps, I was too tiny. Today, I'm proud to be one of the stars, executive producers, producer and creative director of the sequel. It's going to be a very exciting ride and I can't wait", said Oboli.

'Domitila' sequel will follow the adventures of a young Domitila who accidentally witnesses the mysterious death of a politician. With law enforcement on her and her friends' trail, Domitila decides to go to any length to prove her innocence.

The 1996 classic featured stars like Anne Njemanze, Sandra Achums, Kate Henshaw and Enebeli Elebuwa and also influenced the claim to fame of a few of its lead and supporting cast.

Justin Bieber reportedly files $20M defamation suit against sexual assault accusers

Justin Bieber has reportedly filed a $20M defamation suit against the two women who accused him of sexual assault.

Two women are accusing the Canadian born singer of sexually assaulting them in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

According to TMZ, the singer is suing both women $10M each over what he calls malicious claims.

Part of the suit's document indicates that the singer has "indisputable documentary evidence" that proves the accusations to be "outrageous, fabricated lies."

It would be recalled that a lady took to Twitter on Saturday, June 20, 2020, where she accused the music star of sexually assaulting her in 2014.

According to her, she met Bieber while attending an event in Texas and claimed that she and her friends were invited back to the pop star's hotel where she was sexually assaulted without consent.

In his response, the music star denied the allegations and gave a detailed account of his itinerary on the day the alleged sexual molestation took place.


The second accuser claims Bieber assaulted her in New York City in 2015 when the singer was in town for the Met Gala.

Police interrogates D'banj in Abuja over rape allegation

Nigerian music star, Dapo Oyebanjo also known as D'banj has been interrogated by the Nigeria Police Force over the rape allegation levelled against him.

The singer was invited to Abuja by the police to answer questions over the rape allegation levelled against him.

Seyitan Babatayo had revealed earlier in June 2020, that she was raped by the music star back in 2018.

According to PUNCH, the singer was grilled by an Assistant Commissioner of Police, Adaku Anya, at the Force Criminal Investigation Department, Garki, Abuja.

"D'Banj has been questioned twice at the FCID, Abuja. He was questioned last week and also this week. We will leave no stone unturned as we investigate the matter," a top police source revealed.

The report also says Babatayo was invited to write a statement but couldn't make it because she had no means of travelling to Abuja and opted to visit a police unit in Lagos.

It would be recalled that Babatayo had come out to accuse the singer of raping her in 2018.

The music star in his defense denied raping Babatayo and even demanded a public apology and N100M compensation.


The matter took another turn on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, when Babatayo was reportedly arrested by policemen from Sodipo Command, Ikeja.

Babatayo released a press statement on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, where she narrated all that transpired during her arrest.

In the statement, she revealed that she has officially filed a criminal complaint against the music star.

Stella Damasus is celebrating her daughter, Angelica, as she bags a university scholarship after graduation from high school in the United States of America.

Stella Damasus' daughter will be attending Colombia University on scholarship.

The visibly proud mother took to her Instagram page on Thursday, June 25, 2020, where she flooded her timeline with photos of her daughter.

She went to reveal that her daughter has gotten a scholarship from the prestigious Colombia University and also emerged as class valedictorian from her graduating high school.


"My beautiful daughter @angelicatooni graduated high school today. I am such a proud mum right now. She didn't only get a scholarship to @columbia she is also #valedictorian of the class of 2020. #classof2020 #columbiauniversity," she wrote.

It didn't end there as the actress revealed in one of the photos that even though her daughter didn't want all the social media buzz, she couldn't keep calm over the achievement.

Nigerian media practitioner, Seyi Tinubu, recently welcomed a baby boy with his wife, Layal Jade Tinubu, in London on June 25.

Seyi who is the son of popular Nigerian politician, Bola Tinubu, took to his official Instagram page to break the news with his fans and followers.


In the post shared, he revealed both mother and child are doing okay. He wrote: "On behalf of Mr and Mrs Tinubu, i am please to announce the birth of a boy by his wife @layaltinubu earlier today."
