Posted: 18 Aug 2020 11:00 PM PDT

Kiddwaya, a young entrepreneur and a contestant on the BBNaija Lockdown show has revealed his decision to make Tolanibaj his deputy if he wins the Head of House challenge on Monday.

He shared this decision with his lover Erica and Tolanibaj herself.

Erica said they (she and Kidd) have agreed to leave the deputy HoH for Tolanibaj if Kiddwaya wins.

Erica's tenure as HoH expires on Monday evening and she would not be allowed to contest for the position again this week, according to Biggy's new rules.

But it seems she would like Tolanibaj to enjoy the comfort of leadership in the Big Brother Lockdown house.

"Please tell her what I said about the Head of House," Kidd said to Erica.

Replying, Erica said, "I've told her already.

Tonto Dikeh lauds FG over various youths’ development programmes

Posted: 18 Aug 2020 09:00 AM PDT

The Nigerian Nollywood Actress, Tonto Dikeh, has commended the Federal Government's efforts in carrying along the nation`s youths by creating different platforms for their development.

Tonto Dikeh says her foundation employs 50,000 youths every year.

Dikeh gave the commendation when she featured on the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) forum, to sensitise Nigerian youths to the need to stand firm by the leaders to build the country rather than destroying its image.

Dikeh, who is also Director of Socials and Empowerment, Committee of Youth on Mobilisation and Sensitisation (CYMS), condemned fake news that was trending on social media to criticise the government`s efforts on youths` developmental projects.

"I actually think that the government is doing a lot. Prior to being a member of the CYMS, I didn't have the knowledge of the fact that the government has so many platforms assigned to youths to be able to get them to the next level.

"I didn't know that because something that is actually, is worse than the pandemic which is actually eating into our society and that is fake news, which is wrong news, which is bad news.

"Which is what we have and always have been getting, the news that the government is trying to help the youths or the platform in which they help the youth are not found.

"The information just stops half way, and it`s not getting to the people who actually need it. "

The Nollywood actress, however, said that CYMS, being a mobilisation and sensitisation organisation, was working to ensure that youths are enlightened by the organisation so as not to give up on the government`s programmes.

According to her, CYMS has many empowerment programmes with different initiatives for the youths.

While urging the government to strategise means of including a good number of youths in governance, Dikeh also used the medium to condemn the abuse of women in the society.

"If we do not recognise the fact and the problems of the youths, we will only see prosperity, we will only see the country that we deserve is a mirage.

"What do I mean, it is time to include the youths in the position of power for them to be able to change the country, " she said.

Nevertheless, the actress assured Nigerian youths that CYMS would not relent in its efforts to ensure that the organisation worked hand in hand with the government to develop them.

"We actually hold different training and empowerment programmes for youths, especially women because we believe that the society has really ridiculed women so much because of their inabilities and inadequacies.

"Personally, my foundation empowers over 50, 000 youths, single women every year.

"Prior to COVID-19, we had already planned a skills acquisition programme for the youths, especially for the women, because of COVID-19 and the restriction on large gatherings we were not able to achieve it," she said.

Dikeh said CYMS was still toward the execution of its schemes planned for the youths before the emergence of COVID-19 pandemic.

According to her, the scheme will give youths, especially women, an opportunity to key into government platforms that will be able to empower them and to build them to the women they are supposed to be in the society.

NAN reports that CYMS is a pro-government`s evaluation and monitoring organisation, established to sensitise Nigerians both in Diaspora and across the federation on the Federal Government`s programmes, activities and achievements

During Tracey outburst to attack MzBel, she also said that the singer is too old so her private part has worn out, hence, it doesn't satisfy 'Papa No'. Reacting to that she asked, "So is it the Papa No that saw it has worn out and went to tell her?"

During the conversation around ageing and going grey, MzBel admitted that she has grey hair but it's all over her entire body. At a point, she untied her head wrap to show off her hair and a panellist dared her to show her pubic hair too and she nearly did it.

Bambam Opens Up On Birthing Her Baby Via CS And What Motherhood Has Taught Her

Posted: 18 Aug 2020 04:00 AM PDT

BBNaija Reality star, Oluwabamike Olawunmi, aka Bambam is a new mum who has learnt a lot from her motherhood status and she talks to Punch no holds barred..

In an interview with Sunday Scoop,

She said , " It has been overwhelming being a first -time mum. People tell one it's easy but the experience is a completely different ball game. However, I didn't experience labour. When it was time to have the baby , my doctors told me I needed to have an emergency caesarean section . Motherhood changes one mentally , emotionally and physically. My ' love bank ' is a billion times bigger than it was.

" I am now more tolerant and patient . Also, my senses have been heightened because another life was created through me. Being a mum is beautiful but taxing. I can't just sit down and expect my husband to do everything. I am a working mum and I 'm doing exclusive breastfeeding. "

Bambam also maintained that she was not bothered about getting back in shape.

" I am not battling with losing weight . I want to give my baby my best and when I feel satisfied that I've done that , I can worry about getting back in shape . My husband is not complaining but I'm an influencer for a weight loss company and taking good care of myself is important. I do waist training when I want to work out or take pictures . Initially , when I saw how I changed , I felt bad. I didn't understand my body but my baby is worth everything .

I was insecure for a while but I'm thankful for having a cooperative and supportive man. Men need to be patient with their wives when they are changing. Some women are lucky and they don't have any complications but my pregnancy was quite difficult. I vomited every day and felt like a mess. But, I made sure I followed my doctor's instructions .''

Bambam also dismissed reports that her husband , Tope Adenibuyan, aka Teddy A , abused her physically. " We are very deliberate as a couple. We know how to separate our personal lives from our social lives . That 's why I still have my sanity. There is no pressure on us. Me and Teddy don't need to get validation from anyone. We do whatever we want and live on our own terms.

" For the last time , I debunk reports of domestic violence because it amounts to defamation of character . It's wrong to joke with things like that. Our reputations are important because of the work we do as brand influencers. If my husband is tagged a woman beater, it would affect our work. To him , it wasn't a big deal but I felt that was too much .

I can't be quiet about something like that . I 'm a calm and quiet person but I would never stay with a violent man. If I had noticed any violent traits in my husband, I wouldn't have married him . Whoever is peddling that news and the people that believe it must think very low of us as a couple."

Naira Marley’s signee, Lyta, accused of plagiarising popular Korean music video

Posted: 18 Aug 2020 01:00 AM PDT

Naira Marley's latest signee, Lyta, 22, has been accused of plagiarising the music video of a popular South Korean K-pop boy band, GOT7.

GOT7 fans spotted uncanny similarities between Lyta's new music video, 'Hold Me Down', released on Friday, and GOT7's 'Just Right'. The latter was released in 2015.

K-pop is a popular music genre of South Korea origin and largely influenced by several music styles from around the world. K-pop artistes have a loyal fanbase and a strong social media presence.

Lyta, who signed a record deal with Olamide's YBNL Nation in 2018 and left in May 2019, got signed on to Naira Marley's Marlian Music on Monday.

Lyta's 'Hold Me Down (Omo Gidi)' was produced by Quebeats while the video was shot and directed by an 'unknown' director, WG Films.

PREMIUM TIMES observed that Lyta's video can almost pass for G0T7's version as the former literally copied the entire concept scene-for-scene.

Lyta's video has already amassed over 503,000 views and 21,256 comments as of press time.

The description on the video, which was uploaded on Naira Marley's official YouTube channel reads, "This video was inspired by Kpop Korean boy band GOT7 and BTS".

GOT7's music video, which was published on July 12, 2015, has over 335 million views.

Following the outcry, the singer has made history as the Nigerian singer with the highest number of 'dislikes' on a YouTube video.

Check out both videos below:
