Popular Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus has showered praises on her late brother, Wale Badmus from a family throwback photo they shared together.

The entrepreneur who did not reveal the cause of death or when, however, could not hold back the fact that he was once precious in her life.

Sharing a throwback family photo, Eniola Badmus wrote;

JJ Omojuwa drags Samklef for his sexual tweet about Tems

Nigerian Journalist, Japheth J. Omojuwa has dragged and condemned the derogatory tweet made by popular music producer, Samklef about Tems.

The Music producer has come under fire after tweeting that he is waiting patiently to set his eyes on Tems butt.

This assertion by him attracted a whole lot of reactions; among those who reacted was Simi who condemned such statement vehemently.

In spite of the correction and blast he got from Simi, Samklef went further to also lambast the singer (Simi), it was the act that caught the attention of J.J Omojuwa.

In a series of tweets, the Journalist blasted and condemned both his initial statement and his impenitent attitude.

MacKenzie Scott, ex-wife of Jeff Bezos, marries Seattle school teacher

MacKenzie Scott, the philanthropist formerly married to Jeff Bezos, has married again following her 2019 divorce from the Amazon.com Inc. founder.

Ms. Scott, one of the world's wealthiest women, has married Dan Jewett, a science teacher at a Seattle private school, according to the person.

Ms. Scott has devoted much of her time recently to philanthropic efforts benefiting women-led charities, food banks and Black colleges, among other institutions. Since her divorce, Ms. Scott has given away more than $4 billion of her fortune, according to a post she wrote on Medium in December.

In a post dated Saturday on Ms. Scott's page on the Giving Pledge website, for billionaires who have promised to donate most of their fortune to philanthropic efforts, Mr. Jewett signed on to her commitment.

"It is strange to be writing a letter indicating I plan to give away the majority of my wealth during my lifetime, as I have never sought to gather the kind of wealth required to feel like saying such a thing would have particular meaning," Mr. Jewett's post says.

"Dan is such a great guy, and I am happy and excited for the both of them," said Mr. Bezos in a statement provided by an Amazon spokesman.

Ms. Scott and Mr. Jewett couldn't immediately be reached for comment on Sunday.

Ms. Scott and Mr. Bezos, both Princeton University graduates, met while working at a hedge fund in New York. She helped him start Amazon in 1994, and is the author of two novels. Her Amazon author page now says that she "lives in Seattle with her four children and her husband, Dan."

At the time of their 2019 divorce, after 25 years of marriage, Mr. Bezos was the wealthiest person in the world, with his stake of more than 16% of Amazon. Ms. Scott received 4% of Amazon's shares as part of their divorce settlement, though Mr. Bezos kept voting rights for those shares

Ms. Scott joined the Giving Pledge in May 2019, shortly after terms of her divorce with Mr. Bezos were finalized. The pledge was started by Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett in 2010. Mr. Bezos hasn't joined the pledge.

How Tyler Perry came to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s aid when the royal family cut them off financially

Tyler Perry is trending on Twitter following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's interview with  Oprah Winfrey.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed how billionaire filmmaker Tyler Perry came in to help them after they were cut off financially by the royal family.

Soon after they were told they would stop receiving security protection from the British royal family, Harry and Markle, who were in Canada at the time, started to panic about where they should go and where they would be safest. Tyler Perry offered, not just one of his homes in southern California, but a full security detail. They stayed there for three months.


Prince Harry recalled: "While we were in Canada, in someone else's house, I then got told, short notice, that security was going to be removed."

He added that because of tabloids, his and his wife's exact location was known. He continued:

"So suddenly it dawned on me: 'Hang on, the borders could be closed, we're going to have our security removed, who knows how long lockdown is going to be, the world knows where we are, it's not safe, it's not secure, we probably need to get out of here."


At that point, Meghan told Winfrey they didn't have a plan and "needed a house", at which point Tyler Perry stepped in.

"We didn't have a plan and we needed a house and he offered security as well so it gave us breathing room to try to figure out what we were going to do," Meghan told Winfrey of the couple's first months in California.

On social media, Tyler Perry was applauded for his generosity to the couple during their moment of vulnerability.

Funke Akindele replies fan who called her stingy for not doing giveaway

Popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele was called "stingy" for not doing giveaway and she addressed the comment.

The filmmaker was asked to do giveaway on Twitter but she declined. "Stingy Jenifa," a follower said in reaction. Responding, Funke wrote: "And I'm not stingy oh. Time just get as e be this days."

The follower who called Funke stingy was called out and he later apologized to the actress.

The 36-year-old further disclosed that he doesn't have more than 10 clothes to fill up the closet.

Meghan accuses UK royals of racism over son’s skin colour

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex and the wife of Britain's Prince Harry said there were concerns about how dark her son Archie's skin would be before his birth and that such worries explained why he was not given the title of prince.

Markle, whose mother is Black and father is white, said she was naive before she married into the British royal family in 2018, but that she ended up having suicidal thoughts and considering self-harm after asking for help but getting none.

"They didn't want him to be a prince or princess, not knowing what the gender would be, which would be different from protocol, and that he wasn't going to receive security," Markle said in an interview with talk show host Oprah Winfrey that aired on broadcaster CBS late on Sunday in the United States, where she and Harry now live.

"In those months when I was pregnant, all around this same time, so we have in tandem the conversation of, 'you won't be given security, not gonna be given a title' and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he's born."

She declined to say who had aired such concerns. Asked if she was silent or had been silenced, she replied: "The latter".

The highly anticipated interview comes amid an acrimonious dispute between Markle and Harry on one side and the British monarchy on the other.

The couple, who married in 2018, have stepped down from their royal duties and are now living in California.

Their critics accuse them of wanting all the glamour of their positions without the dedication it requires or scrutiny it brings.

To their supporters, their treatment shows how an outdated British institution has lashed out against a modern, biracial woman, with undertones of racism. That accusation is likely to gather momentum in light of Markle's comments about her son.

There have also been allegations of bullying against Markle which first appeared in The Times newspaper in the buildup to the interview.

Buckingham Palace, which did not comment on the interview, in an unprecedented move said it would investigate the bullying claims, adding it was "very concerned".

In response to the report, a spokeswoman for Markle said she was "saddened by this latest attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself."

'Turning point'


Markle said people within the royal institution not only failed to protect her against malicious claims but lied to protect others.

"It was only once we were married and everything started to really worsen that I came to understand that not only was I not being protected but that they were willing to lie to protect other members of the family," Markle said.

"There's the family and then there's the people that are running the institution, those are two separate things and it's important to be able to compartmentalise that because the queen, for example, has always been wonderful to me."

Markle denied a newspaper story that she had made Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William's wife, cry before the wedding and said it was a turning point in her relations with the media.

"That was a turning point," Markle said. Asked if she made Middleton cry, Markle replied: "The reverse happened."

"A few days before the wedding she (Kate) was upset about something, pertaining to yes the issue was correct about the flower girl dresses, and it made me cry. And it really hurt my feelings," Markle said.

Markle told Winfrey she had been naive before her wedding and did not realise what she was marrying into when she joined the British royal family.

"I will say I went into it naively because I didn't grow up knowing much about the royal family," Markle said.

Fans of the self-acclaimed African Giant, Burna Boy are left in shock as the name of Odogwu is removed from the list of artistes to perform at the 2021 Grammy's Awards night.

It was earlier announced that Burna Boy will be performing on March 14th alongside entertainers like Camilo, Afro-Peruvian Jazz Orchestra among others.

However, in the recently released list by the organizers of the award of artistes performing at the event, the Afrobeat singer's name is not listed.

A Twitter user identified as @obeyamark has responded to a tweet by a lady who said she could never be with an Igbo man, because Igbo men cannot stand by their wives amid family or peer pressure.

The lady cited Prince Harry as a role model of what it looks like for a man to stand firmly by his wife despite all odd as she reiterated that she can never be with an Igbo man.

In response to this defamatory tweet against a Nigerian ethnic group, @obeyamark took time to respond to the tweet the lady made. While proving the lady wrong, @obeyamark cited an example of Peter Okoye whom he said fell out with his own twin brother because of his wife.

The Twitter user also went further to present more Igbo men that fought for their wives such as Rochas Okoro whom he also claimed got arrested while fighting to reclaim his wife's property.

Israel Adesanya speaks after losing to Jan Blachowicz

UFC middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, has spoken for the first time since he lost to Jan Blachowicz in the early hours of Sunday.

The 31-year-old admitted that his fight against Blachowicz didn't go the way he wanted.

Adesanya confirmed he would eventually return to the light heavyweight division, but will first return to the middleweight division to defend his belt.

Adesanya lost to Blachowicz at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, as the Polish fighter earned the victory by scores of 49-46, 49-45 and 49-45.

"It didn't go the way I wanted it to go, but dare to be great," Adesanya said after the fight.

MayD suffers burn injury as fire guts his house

Popular Nigerian singer Akinmayokun Awodumila better known as May D, has suffered a burn injury as fire reportedly gut his house.

In a post shared on his Instastories, the singer pleaded with his fans to remember him in their prayers.

According to the singer, there was a fire outbreak in his house, and his leg was burnt.

Sharing photos of his leg being treated, the singer wrote: Hey guys, put me in your prayers, there was a fire in my house, and my leg got burnt.

Wizkid, Tems set to release ‘Essence’ video

WizKid and Tems seem to be working on the video of their song "Essence", and this has got the internet buzzing.

Posted on both of their Instagram stories Saturday, was a video snippet of them on a location presumed to be the set for the shoot.

Essence is the eleventh song on WizKid's fourth studio album 'Made In Lagos'.

The album, which surpassed 100 million streams across five platforms ten days after release, has been regarded as one of the best albums of 2020 that will continue to dominate the airwaves for a long while.

With Tem's status as one of the most rated up-and-coming artists in the Nigerian music industry, equal anticipation has met the release of the video.

Singer, Dencia shades Davido on his appearance in Coming to America 2

Cameroonian pop singer Dencia has opined that using other singers on Amazon's Original movie, Coming to America 2 would have been better than Davido only.

According to Dencia who attributed Davido's 'Assurance' song performed in the movie to the cheating scandal trailing the singer.

FFK denies claims of beating his ex-wife Precious Chikwendu while she was pregnant, accuses her of adultery and attempting to kill him and their sons

Media Consultant to former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, Honourable Oladimeji Olaiya, has denied claims filed in court by his estranged wife, Precious Chikwendu.

Precious in an affidavit she deposed in support of an originating motion brought pursuant to Section 69 of the Child's Rights Act, 2003 accused the former Minister of beating her up on several occasions even while she was pregnant with their children. Precious in her summons also accused FFK of drugging her with the help of the DPO at the Asokoro Police station. She asked the court to grant her custody of their four boys. Read here.

Reacting to the claims, Hon Olaiya, in a statement released today Saturday, March 6, hinted that they will provide "evidence" to the court why the children shouldn't be in Precious' custody. He also debunked the accusation that Precious was stripped and drugged. Olaiya accused Precious of attempting to kill FFK and their sons while they were living together.

The statement reads

"The statement of claim and affidavit that was filed in court by one Precious Chikwendu against Chief Femi Fani-Kayode is filled with lies and falsehood. Not one thing that she has alleged there is true. She is a pathological liar and a slanderer and we intend to prove this in court.

We also believe that she is unfit to be a mother and that she has shown nothing but cruelty to her children whom she has never taken care of or shown the love and affection of a mother. We believe that the children's lives would be in danger if they are with her and we shall prove this in court.

For the avoidance of doubt at no time did Chief Fani-Kayode expose his children to danger and he has always provided them with the best of care including 12 nannies and nurses who did all the work even when their mother was in the house and whom she herself employed.

Chikwendu's only pastime was to post pictures and words on Instagram and sleep with men outside. She also tried to seduce a number of Chief Fani-Kayode's friends when he was in detention and extort money from them.

Neither is it true that she was ever beaten by Chief Fani-Kayode or anyone else in his staff and security team, either when she was pregnant or not pregnant and it is not true that she was subjected to any form of physical or mental abuse from them.

As a matter of fact she was the abuser and not Chief Fani-Kayode or any of his security team or staff. On one occasion, she cut two people with a knife and almost bit off the finger of a third when she was trying to attack and kill her own children and husband with two knives. Thirty people witnessed this and we have it on video.

On another occasion when she was caught in bed with a married naval officer in a hotel she cut her own foot with a broken bottle and said she would tell the world that her husband did it. At least three people witnessed this. She and her lover begged not to be prosecuted for adultery even after there was evidence to show that they were planning to have Fani-Kayode murdered.

At a later date, she was committed to a mental health facility for one month. We urge members of the public to wait until the truth is revealed about Chikwendu, her mental and physical abuse of her own children, her mental illness, her numerous attempts to murder Chief Fani-Kayode and his four children, her adulterous ways, her unfathomable cruelty, her gold-digging ways, her violence and so much more before they make up their minds.

All this, with the necessary evidence, will be produced in court. Sadly due to the fact that the matter of the courts jurisdiction is still in question we cannot say anything until that matter is settled.

Once it is and we file our responses and statement of defence and affidavits Chikwendu's attempt to rubbish a man that has been her entire family's sole benefactor for seven years and one that has shown her nothing but kindness and love shall be exposed.

And so shall her inexplicable ingratitude and greed. By that ttime her little pity party and false and misguided attempt at playing the victim, which she uses to sustain her wayward and disgraceful lifestyle, will come to an end and people will know her for the cheap harlot and desperate crook that she really is.

Even though Chikwendu's plan was to ambush Chief Femi Fani-Kayode into surrendering custody of the children to her, an act that will be grossly inimical to the proper development and well being of the children, we will not respond to her other than to say that our client, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has expressed gladness that Chikwendu has purportedly approached a court.

This is an action that will leave our client with no other option but to expose Chikwendu's lies, wicked and evil plots and life-threatening actions against him over the years: issues he had hitherto kept to himself in order to save her from the horrifying indignity and whatever shame is left of her following such revelations.

These would surely be adequately supported with the necessary documents and videos. The world is about to be shocked with the truth about her inhumane actions and other deficiencies which our client has over the years endured from her and covered in order not to expose her to any indignity.

The only reason Chikwendu has not seen her children for close to seven months is because she has refused to come to the house to do so. She was given access to the children 7 months ago and visitation rights but she refused to exercise them.

She also speaks to the children regularly on the phone but is always threatening the lives of their staff and even screaming at the children themselves in an uncontrollable rage on many occassions. It is pertinent to note that she was never asked to leave the house or thrown out. She walked out on her own saying she was hearing voices even when the entire household was begging her to stay and she abandoned her husband and four young children to meet other men outside.

After she finished having her fun Chief Fani-Kayode refused to let her back into his and resolved to keep her out of his life. This is the best decision he has made in the last 7 years. Chikwendu claims that she was stripped and drugged. This is not true. Rather she was held down by a contingent of 4 policemen and policewomen in the presence and under the orders of the DPO of Asokoro police Station and in the presence of her Aunty Joy and at least 30 frightened and agitated police officers, workers and members of the household and family after which she was sedated with an injection by a Dr. from the psychiatric hospital.

This was after she attacked her husband and children with two very large knives and attempted to kill them and after she held them, hostage, upstairs in their rooms for three hours whilst in a drunken craze and threatening to kill everyone including the police who had been called to rescue their lives.

It is important to note that Chief Fani-Kayode and the children were not even present when she was rushed, apprehended and sedated by a combined force of male and female police officers because they had locked themselves upstairs hiding in their rooms in order to save their lives. This whole episode traumatised the children so badly that they needed professional care and till today they shudder when they see their mother.

This is made all the worse that on one occasion she beat her first son so badly that his face swelled up like a football and he had to be rushed to the hospital where she admitted her offence to the doctor. We have pictures of his damaged and badly swollen face.

His crime was that he had called one of his 3 nannies "mummy" and this angered Chikwendu who then flew into an uncontrollable rage and punched him in the face in front of 7 nannies. On a separate occasion in front of three Pastors, she also beat one of the triplets mercilessly simply because he had dared to cry during prayers. Again we have evidence of this and the Pastors and nannies will testify.

It was after the frightful event of her holding the entire household hostage with the two knives and threatening to kill everybody that, whilst sedated, she was taken to and admitted to a private mental institution where she was diagnosed as having severe bipolar disorder, depression and schizophrenia.

The doctors advised that she be kept there for at least three months for her own sake and for the sake of her family and those living with her in order to ensure that she did not kill herself or kill anyone else and that she gets the care and medical attention she so badly needed.

The entire event was filmed and on video. If she had not been sedated and rushed to the hospital she would have killed her husband, children, Aunty and others in the house that day including the DPO and her policemen as it was obvious that she had lost her mind.

There is no doubt that she is a depraved and dangerous woman and her medical file will be produced by the hospital at the appropriate time. So will her file which documents all her adulterous atrocities at Asokoro Police Station. In the space of 4 years, Chikwendu had to undergo 5 different surgical operations, all of which Chief Fani-Kayode paid for, and in 7 years she had numerous extra-marital affairs. This was a lifestyle that was unacceptable to Chief Fani-Kayode and one which he found utterly repulsive and repugnant," Hon Olaiya concluded.
