‘Baldwin Hills’ Star And Model, Ashley Gerren Taylor ‘Dies In Her Sleep’ At Age 30

American model, Ashley Gerren Taylor, has died at the age of 30.

According to The Shaderoom, the mother of one who appeared on the BET reality series Baldwin Hills and documentary America the Beautiful, passed away in her sleep due to natural causes on Sunday, April 11, at about 4:30am.

The report also said she battled with Lupus disease and was on dialysis at the time of her death. She also had various health issues.

Her fellow BET star Ray Cunningham has confirmed the sad news via his social media pages.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote, "Just got the worst news. I hate it's on the internet already. RIP to my @BET fam, my babes Gerren (Baldwin Hills)." He added in another tweet, "Unfortunate circumstances. We love you Gerren."

Ashley Gerren Taylor started modeling when she was 12 after being spotted by a talent scout in Los Angeles Park. She was the youngest model ever signed by the runway division of L.A. Models. Taylor also signed with the Ford Modeling Agency and was booked by the designers Tracy Reese, Tommy Hilfiger and Betsey Johnson.

Prince Harry has reportedly arrived in the UK to attend the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip's funeral on Saturday.

The Duke of Sussex arrived back home, for the first time since he and wife Meghan Markle left for California, on a British Airways flight to Heathrow at around 1.15pm on Sunday, The Sun reported.

He was reportedly met by security off the plane before being driven away in a black Range Rover.

Meghan was advised not to travel from Los Angeles because she is heavily pregnant, according to reports.

It is understood his status excludes him from England's Covid quarantine rules but that he will isolate for around five days before taking a test privately.

The funeral for the Duke of Edinburgh, who died peacefully aged 99 on Friday, will be a private affair held at St George's Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle on Saturday.

Odumeje Not Responsible, I’ve Been Sick For A Long Time- Ada Jesus

Comedienne Ada Jesus has come out to debunk the rumors making the rounds that prophet Odumeje and others she criticized are responsible for her condition as she revealed that she has been sick for a long time.

In a video the actress posted on her Facebook page, she mentioned that she has been battling with the ailment for years and it only just escalated.

We learnt that Ada Jesus was taken by her family members to Prophet Odumeje's church to seek for his forgiveness after it was suspected he must have afflicted her with the disease.

Ada Jesus however said the story is not true and she is only battling a medical condition, and not spiritual as it is widely rumored.

Unhappy with the development, Samklef shared photos of the veteran Nollywood actor and wrote in the caption that he heard Bruno died too but because it's not an American celebrity, he gets little publicity.

Responding, Kaffy said, "Just because people posted about DMX doesn't mean it's fake love."

Prince Harry is expected, according, to reports to return home in the coming days.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have both released a statement following the passing away of Prince Philip.

Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh and husband to Queen Elizabeth of England died on Friday, April 9, 2021.

"Thank you for your service … You will be greatly missed. In loving memory of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh 1921-2021," the couple wrote on the website for their nonprofit, Archewell Foundation.

There are reports that Prince Harry is expected to return to the United Kingdom in the coming days.

The couple moved to the United States of America in 2020 after stepping down as senior members of the royal family.

The grandfather of Prince Harry and Prince William, who was married to the 94-year-old queen for 74 years, passed away on Friday at age 99.

He and the Queen were parents to Charles (Harry's father), Prince of Wales, Anne, Princess Royal, Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.

Before explaining why body counts should not be a subject of conversation in your relationship, it is important to explain what it means.

Simply put, body count is the number of people you have sex with. It does not matter how intimate the make out was, or how much stuff you have done with someone, if there hasn't been penetration, it does not count as sex in this context. Body count here refers only to the number of people you have had penetrative sex with.

Sharing the past in new relationships

For every new relationship you find yourself in, there comes a time when you and your partner speak of the past and plan for the future, especially when things are becoming pretty serious and commitment is becoming genuine.

As explained in previous articles; there are financial conversations that are important at this stage as there are sexual conversations that one must have, too. Of all the sexual things you can ask from bae/boo though, the body count question is not necessary.

And this is simply because some things are just better left unknown, some information better left undiscovered. Let people divulge it willingly if they choose to. And if they don't, that's fine too. Don't bother them for it. Don't stress them about it.


Whom a woman has slept with in the past should not suddenly make them unattractive to you, and should not affect their standing with you. Women don't think of the number of women a man has been with before loving them as they should. Why can't they be accorded the same courtesy? Besides, there's no assurance that the figure she'll tell you is the accurate thing. Really, it's simple; if you think she is kind, smart, intelligent and fun to be with, how does her body count suddenly change all of the positive vibes you feel with her?

You can ask if there have been any abortion; that is also a valid question to ask. I mean, this is someone you are getting serious or intend to get serious with, so that question is not unreasonable and deserves an answer, just as women deserve an answer when they ask if you have ever impregnated anyone or if you have a child somewhere.

The truth always hurts
When you think about it, there really is nothing to gain from the body count information except that it satisfies your curiosity.

Most times, guys can't even deal with the truth especially when the babe in question is one that has truly explored her sexuality before they came into the picture.

There is no way to know the correct Nigerian stats, but in England in 2017, it was revealed that the average woman sleeps with eight guys before settling down. We think a huge number of Nigerian guys will estimate that as being too much.

This is where I get to talk about how unfair it is that guys could have slept with over 10 girls and will be hailed a champ and a woman does the same and she's a tramp. That just doesn't seem right especially now that gender equality is being called for more.

Back to the body count subject; to ask about your woman this question also puts your relationship in a precarious balance. If she's been with more than a few guys and presumes that you'll be staggered if she tells you, this will prompt her to come up with a lie; which of course is not what you want in your relationship.

If she trusts you with the truth, you may never be able to handle it. If your relationship is in a good place and everything is going great between your woman and you, you really do not need any inconsequential thing to upstage it. Let sleeping dogs lie, my guy.

If there ever was a list of information that do not have any bearing on that beautiful relationship/marriage happiness you seek, the body count question surely has to be in the top five.

It's that unimportant.

Young lady expresses utmost satisfaction after consuming the placenta of her family member, says it is the best meat she ever had.

A Twitter user identified as @iam_mystiquee took to the micro-blogging platform to narrate how she ate a human's placenta.

"Placenta bangs hard sha. I keep saying this. I don't know what makes it sweet but it's the sweetest meat I've consumed till date," she wrote.

It did not take long before other users attacked the young lady for uttering such rubbish and not feeling remorse about her actions.

In a new post, she wrote;

A slew of plastic surgeons have sprung up all over the city but following a tragic death over the holidays, we question whether or not the pursuit for perfection is as safe as it seems.

The popularity of plastic surgery in Nigeria has risen exponentially in the last few years with many women on a quest for the perfect figure.

In Africa, for centuries, bigger has always been better and the figure 8 shape has proven the ideal shape for women and the men who love them. Unfortunately, not everyone is blessed with natural curves and some women turn to plastic surgery to achieve the look.

Whilst there's no problem with wanting to make a few enhancements, it seems more and more poorly- qualified practitioners are taking advantage of vulnerable and ill-informed patients.

The latest tale of medical misconduct serves as a cautionary tale for lots of young women and hopefully causes medical advisory boards such as the Nigerian Medical and Dental Council to take notice of the illegal operations going in Lagos.

A young lady named Nne allegedly approached Lagos- based plastic surgery outfit Med Contour with the intention of having a Brazilian Bum Lift (BBL), liposuction and fat transfer on the 31st December 2018.

The doctor, Dr. Anu was known for importing foreign doctors to carry out the procedures however, for reasons best known to her, on this fateful day, she decided to carry out the procedure herself.

On the 31st December, as Nne's sister waited anxiously for Dr. Anu to finish the procedure, she realised that the process was taking far too long with no update on her sister's condition. Worried, she allegedly walking into the operating theatre and saw a helpless Dr. Anu standing beside her sister's lifeless body. Apparently, complications had arisen and the patient, Nne, fell into a coma.

Nne was quickly rushed to Vedic hospital in Lekki where she was put on life support and was later moved to LUTH where she sadly died on Sunday 3rd February. According to doctors, fat had entered her lungs causing a blockage and subsequent complications. Nne never woke up from her coma.

Dr. Anu, fearful of the repercussions, is reportedly on the run and Nne's family are left devastated by the loss of a dear sister whose death was entirely avoidable.

Nne's death not only raised serious concerns regarding misconduct but has also opened a Pandora's box for the Nigerian plastic surgery community. Many anonymous commenters have come out to talk about friends whose lives were lost on the operating table and were swept under the carpet to protect the reputation of the respective clinics.

Nne's tragic death is set to mark a much-needed intervention into the way these unlicensed clinics and doctors operate and the lives that have been wasted due to negligence.

Our public healthcare system is in turmoil but we should hope that any private procedures we undergo be it medical or plastic, should be carried out to the very highest standard.

In the meantime, people wishing to undergo procedures should do their due-diligence and extensive research before choosing a surgeon.

Often the old adage rings true, if it seems to good to be true, it probably is. If the price of a surgery sounds suspiciously cheap, you are right to question it because good surgery does cost a lot of money. From consultations to anesthesia, the surgery itself, medication and after-care, it all adds up.

How to verify your plastic surgeon.

With the egregious amount of news surrounding non-plastic surgeon doctors inflicting botched procedures on their unsuspecting patients it is critical for patients to know the right way to find and verify the credentials of a board-certified plastic surgeon. Before booking a cosmetic procedure, there are five things each patient should do to verify their plastic surgeon's credentials.

Check their certification – Always ask to see your surgeons medical certificates and credentials. Check with the relevant certifying organisation that's responsible for accrediting plastic surgeons.

Find out if your surgeon's facility is accredited – Find out as much as you can about the facility that the procedure is being carried out at. Inspect the facility of surgery centers for patient safety and care.

Jerome Boateng set to leave Bayern Munich after 10 years

Bayern Munich veteran defender, Jerome Boateng will leave the club in the summer after a decade at the club, the German club have confirmed.

The Germany international's deal at the Allianz Arena runs out at the end of the season and he won't be given a new contract, meaning he can sign for another club on a free transfer.

"Jerome's contract expires in the summer. It will not be extended," the club sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic told Sky in Germany

"That was a joint decision of the club management and the coach was also involved. I explained that to Jerome and he was very understanding. He leaves through a big door – hopefully with titles."

Austria's David Alaba will also leave Bayern in the summer upon the expiry of his contract to join Real Madrid.

Boateng has played 31 games for Bayern this season, scoring two goals for the Bundesliga leaders.

Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has advised women who have clocked 30 and above to do away with the idea of aborting their babies even if they are single.


Ogbodo says women should be ready to take care of their children with or without a partner.

The movie star made this known during live lengthy Instagram chat with her fans on Wednesday, April 7, 2021.

"It's so painful o when I see a lot of girls my age, they don't look beautiful anymore ad they were so pretty. I saw one yesterday I had to go back to the page to refresh...she was looking haggard and old and ugly," she said.

"So who marriage help? If with marriage and the almighty man that you're marrying, you're looking terrible, without marriage, who knows how you go look?"

"Please, stop killing your children, especially when you're of age. Have your kids. If marriage comes, marry oh, if marriage no come, raise your children now."

"I'm 34. I already have a kid. This is going to be my second child. I have a boyfriend who loves me, I'm happy and I'm having my baby. "


Ogbodo is heavily pregnant for her second child.

She already has a child from a previous marriage.

She got married to Norway-based football agent, Ato Ubby in 2013.
