Paul Enenche – I Can Afford A Private Jet But I Haven’t Acquired One

Posted: 27 Apr 2021 09:00 AM PDT

The Senior Pastor of Abuja-based Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche, has described reports in some quarters that his church recently acquired a private jet as "absolutely false and totally untrue".

The cleric said though his ministry could afford to acquire a private jet for the "purpose of easy, stress-less and aggressive spread of the gospel", the church was yet to buy one.

Enenche made this known in a statement on Friday through his Secretary, Sylvester Edoh.

The statement titled, 'On The Purported Acquisition Of A Private Jet' partly read, "By God's grace, we do not lack the capacity to acquire or own a private jet for the sake of the gospel.

"However, the news of our acquisition of a private jet that is currently making rounds is absolutely false and totally untrue."

"The picture of the jet making rounds is that of an aircraft, N838BB HAWKER 800XP (HS25), belonging to a private aviation company that was chartered in December 2019 for a series of crusades in Benue State," the statement added.

"We do not need to acquire or buy an equipment before we can own it.

"We have the capacity to announce by ourselves, whatever we deem news-worthy," it concluded.

Acquisition of private jets is not a new phenomenon amongst Nigerian top pastors. The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye; the Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners' Chapel, David Oyedepo; the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman; amongst others own private jets.

Eedris Abdulkareem hits back at Festus Keyamo Over failed attempt at blackmail

Posted: 27 Apr 2021 05:30 AM PDT

Singer Eedris Abdulkareem has responded to Festus Keyamo's accusation of blackmail.

The singer had released a song titled "Jagajaga Reloaded" with a line that goes: "Where Festus Keyamo sef? He don dey chop with cabal o."

Responding, Minister of State, Labour & Employment, Festus Keyamo, accused singer Eedris Abdulkareem of attempting to blackmail him.

Keyamo released chats where Eedris had reached out to him, asking to release a pro-Buhari song. When his request was denied, he decided to release a song, disparaging Festus Keyamo and the Buhari-led administration (read here).

Festus called the singer and others like him "activists-by-day-and-hustlers-at-night."

Reacting to the allegation, Eedris accused Keyamo of turning his back on him in his time of need despite being there for him.

He went on to ask if anything he said in "Jagajaga Reloaded" is a lie.

Eedris wrote:

JAGA JAGA TI GET E…

Did Festus Keyamo join the cabal or not?
When he was in prison, I stood by him, I fought Obasanjo on behalf of all the comrades in prison, I released Jagajaga.
When my mother was dying, I reached out to a brother, or one I thought was a brother and a comrade. Could he have helped, yes, did he help, NO…such was the wickedness of his heart that he munched and kept personal details for three years…real Hallmark of a Blackmailer!

In 2018, I still thought the man was a comrade. Thought he could effect change in the government he served. Then he joined the cabal, he became inner caucus and held the steering wheel spiralling Nigeria into doom.
He joined to crush the revolution of the youths, he joined the cabal. The cabal which mowed down our youths at LEKKI TOLL GATE.

With a vexed spirit, I went again to the studio for "Jagajaga Reloaded" and the Blackmailer went to town. The cabal is awoken. The cabal is hit. The cabal is in pain. The cabal is failing. The cabal will FALL.

The Blackmailer said I recorded a song for Buhari. The said song is titled : "Obasanjo Write Buhari Letter". Here is the link to that song, listen and you will phantom the deviousness and dubiousness of the evil SAN (Senior Advocate Blackmailer of Nigeria) called Festus Keyamo.

Issues raised on Jagajaga Reloaded are facts. Nigeria never had it so bad. The Jagajaga has taken a gargantuan dimension. We must keep asking questions. We must ask the cabal questions.
Festus Keyamo don join the cabal. He is in pains because his next ambition is to be governor of Delta State. Perhaps to localise grand looting, terrorism, murdering and raping of our citizens, kidnapping, which his cabal have romanticised and packaged as banditry, and sundry other mis-governance. This is why Jagajaga ti get e!

Festus Keyamo na cabal.

We Are Sad, Disappointed – Theatre Practitioners react to Baba Ijesha's Molestation Act

Posted: 27 Apr 2021 04:00 AM PDT

The Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria has expressed disappointment over the alleged sexual abuse of a teenager by actor, Olarenwaju James, popularly known as Baba Ijesha.

TAMPPAN, in a statement sent to Sunday Scoop on Saturday and signed by its Director of Research and Documentation, Yemi Amodu, said it would never support any hideous act but would support the Lagos State Government in ensuring that justice is served.

The statement read in part, "We find it obligatory to condemn in totality the odious occurrence of paedophilia confessed to by Mr Olanrewaju James, aka Baba Ijesha, as confirmed by the police. Our association, TAMPPAN, is crestfallen about this act and will reproach and remonstrate the committer of such sexual harassment to prepubescent children.

"Considering the sensitivity of the case, which is still under investigation, TAMPPAN will never support all acts against what we preach and represent.

"As an association, we understand the mores and the social norms of our people and our behaviour will always be homiletic. Therefore, we would not fail to support the government in its bid to do justice towards ensuring that such ignoble acts are checked within our society."

While sympathising with the parents of the victim, the association urged parents to encourage their children to freely express themselves and expose such acts.

It added, "We sympathise with the parents of the victim and also seize this opportunity to charge all parents to give their children or wards freedom to express themselves for the timely arrest of such horrible acts whenever such are committed."

Kamaru Usman Knocks Out Jorge Masvidal, Retains UFC Title

Posted: 27 Apr 2021 03:00 AM PDT

Usman successfully defended his welterweight title in his rematch with Masvidal who was left prone on the canvas.

Kamaru Usman retained his welterweight with a stunning KO of Jorge Masvidal at UFC 261.

The rivals were meeting for a second time in less than a year following Usman's points victory last July.

But on this occasion the champion needed a little over six minutes to retain his title, rendering Masvidal unconscious with a stunning right hand.

He followed up with several unanswered blows on the canvas before referee Herb Dean stepped in.

Usman has now made four defences of his 170lb title and is expected to face another rematch later this year against Colby Covington whom he stopped in December 2019.

"You all said you wanted violence… you're welcome," said the champion.

"No disrespect… I want to say thank you to my man Jorge. You elevated me, you made me have to… it's been a while since I've been nervous before a fight but he elevated me.

"He made me go to the workshop, I had to sharpen my tools to come out and put on a performance like that. I am still getting better."

Masvisal added: "First time [I've been knocked out] in my career and it's front of my people, my family and my friends so it hurts.

"I've never been knocked out in 54 fights. Usman showed me something I didn't see in the first fight. I didn't see his power.

"I thought we were going to wrestle more, I was ready to wrestle for 25 minutes. All the props in the world to him, he caught me by surprise and he has my number. There's nothing I can say but he wont his fair and square."

Festus Keyamo Exposes Eedris Abdulkareem For Disparaging Him In His New Song

Posted: 27 Apr 2021 02:30 AM PDT

Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo has opened the dossier of hip hop artiste, Eedris Abdulkareem after he released a song, 'jagajaga reloaded' to disparage the minister, Igbere TV reports.

Abdulkareem's new song, 'jagajaga reloaded' disparaged Keyamo, saying "where Festus Keyamo sef? He don dey chop with cabal o."

Keyamo took to his twitter handle and released different private conversations he had with Abdulkareem, how he allegedly begged for money.

According to Keyamo;

"Eedris Abdulkareem just released a song, 'jagajaga reloaded', where he waxed the following lyrics, "where Festus Keyamo sef? He don dey chop with cabal o". I laughed out so loud and even danced to the rhythm too. But there's a small story behind this poor attempt at blackmail.

"In 2018, when I was named the Director of Strategic Communications for Buhari Campaign Organisation Eedris waxed a song in support of Buhari & wanted to join us, albeit for a fee. He then made desperate efforts to see me through text messages from his phone no. 07019691772.

"When I finally met with him, I listened to the songs, but told him I had no budget for such or any for that matter. I explained that my job was voluntary. It was the same thing I told so many other so-called activists-by-day-and-hustlers-at-night who secretly approached me," he said.
Keyamo said Abdulkareem then switched to the fact that he wanted a loan to pay for his hotel bills to the tune of N1.3m & to cater for his 'sick mum,' saying "that was already running into more than N3m. However, one govt functionary called me to say he told him another story that his child was sick.

"He begged me to introduce him to Malami (AGF), Amaechi & the SGF and to paint a good 'PR' for him. He pledged that he was with us in the campaign with his whole 'body and soul'. But at this point, I knew he was a desperate hustler who could embarrass me, so I ghosted him"

Keyamo added:

"Shortly after this episode when he could not penetrate the system to get the money he so desperately wanted, he then endorsed Atiku and called Buhari a 'fraudster'. But we decided to ignore his weak voice of opposition.

"After our victory, he went berserk and joined every protests against the same Buhari whom he wanted to serve with his whole 'body and soul', but needed money to do so. He has been mentioning my name specifically at occasions as if I am the cause of all his troubles in life".

Keyamo said the latest is the 'jagajaga reloaded' that he has waxed to vent his frustrations at not getting into the system.

"His reference to me as 'chopping' reminds me of the gaffe of then Minister Sunday Afolabi who infamously said Bola Ige was invited to Govt to 'come and chop'!

"I wish to assure Eedris and any who think being in Govt is tantamount to 'chopping', that for some of us (I can't speak for others) it is just an honour to serve our country and an attempt to move from armchair criticism to a real participant in order to make a difference," he said.

"Finally, we can all sit back and enjoy the 'jagajaga reloaded'. One of the objectives of the song is to call me out since I ghosted him for attempted extortion – he has now succeeded. Another objective is to help promote the song by my reaction – that he has also achieved," he added.
