BBnaija Tacha To Appear On International Reality Show, To Earn Up To N38M Just For Participation

More wins for popular reality star and  brand influencer, Natacha 'Tacha' Akide as she is set to appear on an international reality show,  The Challenge, with a weekly earning of N480K and N38M extra for participation even without qualifying as the winner.

The Challenge is a reality competition that is currently on its 36th season on MTV spunned off from two of the network's reality shows, The Real World and Road Rules.

According to information released by a spoiler of the show, @GamerVev on Twitter revealed that Tacha is enrolled as a Rookie on the show, a rank for beginners that comes with a weekly earning of $1,000 (N480,000) and $80,000 (N38,000,000) for participation.


Tacha however, is yet to confirm the development as it is in fact a huge win for the ex-beauty queen and her fans which is probably why she is waiting for the right moment.

Hip Hop Mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs officially has a new name.

The 51-year-old super-producer revealed on Monday that he changed his middle name from his maiden "John," for which Combs launched his famed Sean John clothing line in 1998 and later sold a majority stake to Global Brands Group in 2016 – to "Love," which he has been telling fans to refer to him as in recent years.

On Monday, Diddy shared his new driver's license. This Florida state-issued card revealed that Diddy will officially be known as Sean Love Combs.

"Look what I just got in the mail today…," he captioned the photo of the Florida ID. "IT'S OFFICIAL!!! WELCOME TO THE LOVE ERA."


He also shared an extract from a court document over the change of name which was dated 21 January 2020. He wrote: "Imma need y'all to take me seriously on this one!!! #TheLoveEra LOVE (sic)"

Diddy first announced he was changing his name to Brother Love in 2017.

"I have some very, very serious news," he tweeted at the time. "I've been praying on this … I know it's risky because it could come off as corny to some people. Like, yo, I decided to change my name again. I'm just not who I am before.

"I'm something different. So my new name is Love, aka Brother Love. I will not be answering to Puffy, Diddy, Puff Daddy, or any of my other monikers, but Love or Brother Love, okay?"

Ace music executive and producer, Don Jazzy has revealed that every girl he dated in the past knew about his failed marriage.

Don Jazzy who disclosed this in an interview on BBC Pidgin, said those who knew about his marriage didn't see any need of going public with it.

The producer disclosed that he got married at an early age to a woman who is a year older than him, and had to choose between his marriage and music which always kept him on the road.

Don Jazzy noted that his views about marriage is always changing and also revealed that he doesn't have a child outside he knows of. He also disclosed that his former wife remarried and now has a child.

Ghanaian actor, Chris Attoh has married for the third time.

The Tinsel actor whose second marriage ended after his wife, Bettie Jennifer, was murdered in May 2019, got married to a woman named Chinecherem Eze.

Chinecherem is an actor, producer, and investor.

They reportedly had a secret court wedding in California, USA on Wednesday, April 28, and a proxy traditional wedding in Nsukka, Enugu State, on May 1.

Chris was married to his Tinsel co-star, Damilola Adegbite, and they divorced in 2017. He remarried US-based businesswoman, Bettie Jennifer, in October 2018 and she was murdered a few months later, in May 2019.

Ghanian police investigates Christ Embassy for allegedly holding a crowded event in Ghana

The Christ Embassy Church is currently being investigated by the Ghanaian Police for allegedly holding a crowded event, breaching the COVID-19 protocol in the West African country.

On April 30, 2021, thousands of enthusiastic church members gathered at the Fantasy Dome for a programme organized by Christ Embassy dubbed "Pneumatic Night". Videos shared online showed that the venue was filled to the brim.

In a statement released by the Ghana Police Service, the church was accused of not adhering to the COVID-19 protocols and breaching the threshold of the number of people who could gather for a church event at a place.

While the Fantasy Dome has been closed down, the church may be prosecuted if found guilty after a police investigation.


The statement read;

NEWS RELEASE: Christ Embassy Youth Church "Pneumatic Night". The Police is investigating an alleged gathering by the Christ Embassy Church at Trade Fair Centre Accra on Friday, April 30, 2021, in flagrant disregard of COVID-19 protocols putting the entire country at risk of spreading COVID-19. The Police did not provide security for the said event and warns that those who breached the law will face consequences.

Actor Yomi Fabiyi who had earlier accused his colleagues of being "malicious" over no "clear-cut evidence" of Baba Ijesha molesting a minor before his arrest, has now described the recently released CCTV footage of the actor being caught in the act as a "setup".

Fabiyi in a post he shared claimed that setting someone up is a criminal offence, and those behind it will spend more time in prison that Baba Ijesha because a minor is involved.

He also called on the Lagos Commissioner of Police to "balance" because embassies and organizations are watching.

Actress and model, Venita Akpofure, has said that walking out of her marriage was one of the toughest decisions she has ever had to take.

The ex-BBNaija housemate was previously married to Terna Olusola Tarka and they have two daughters. In 2019, she confirmed rumors that their marriage had crashed and also dismissed reports that he was a violent man. Read here.

In a fresh interview with Punch, Venita said walking out of their union has been one of her toughest decisions to take

"One of the toughest decisions I have made was leaving my marriage. It became known to the public about seven months after I had moved out of my matrimonial home.

I am grateful that I had a great support system that really helped me through that period. Being a single mother is not easy, especially if ones work a lot. I had to multi-task to make sure I'm there for my kids.

According to him, he doesn't want to go around sleeping with too many girls as it makes him "violate his energy" and "breeds disrespect "

Nollywood Actress and mother-of-one, Tonto Dikeh, has suggested that a death sentence is the most suitable judgement for a proven sex offender/rapist.

This is coming as she continues to conndemn the alleged inhuman act of her colleague, Baba Ijesha who was accused of raping a minor 7 years ago and attempted to defile her again few weeks back.

She told Saturday beats ;

"In Nigeria, cases of rape are fast assuming a threatening dimension that requires urgent intervention. Rape, like other forms of violence against women, is an infringement on women's rights, privacy, self-preservation and dignity. There is little or no policy or law that protect the victims as they are most times blamed, stigmatized and humiliated by society if it is brought to the public domain. This hinders victims from embracing a mindset of reporting such an inhumane crime to the appropriate authorities.

"I believe that any person found guilty of rape should be sentenced to death either by hanging, firing squad, lethal injection or electrocution. I would also recommend castration. Rape cases and sexual molestations have become the order of the day, and the victims are not getting enough justice. Most of these perpetrators still walk freely," she told Saturday Beats.
