Include portrait, square and landscape layouts, and be sure they're the highest resolution possible. Also consider including people in your images, since images with people drive 4% more clicks compared to images without.3 • Use overlay text sparingly to avoid visual distractions in your ads. On average, images without overlay text drive 9% more clicks.4 If including overlay text, be sure it complements your headline, description, and call to action. • Focus on high-intent audiences that have performed well in other media campaigns, like video or social. Advertisers that add custom intent, Customer Match, remarketing, or similar audiences to their Discovery ads have seen 81% higher conversion rates and 25% lower CPAs.5 • Choose an average daily budget at least 10x the value of your target cost-per-action bid.
