Ladun met her husband, Aigbovo-Giwa-Osagie, when she was 47, they married at 48, she became pregnant at 49, and she gave birth to a baby boy named Osarumuwese Oluwaseyitanfunmi Nosakhare on June 25, 2021, just before her 50th birthday. Ifeanyi Omeni, a friend, offered her wonderful testimony and inspiring personal experience on Monday, June 28. Read post below: "GOLDEN GLADIATOR "I loved gladiator films during my growing-up years. Films like Ben Hur and its counterparts, featuring warriors of the ancient Roman Empire who fought in amphitheatres, to entertain an excited crowd, were my great delight. A little bit of that love still lingers, and I sure can settle down to watch those films at a stretch, without boredom descending on me. "Those Roman gladiators were like tin gods, ruling the amphitheatres and looked like the epitome of masculinity. Many maidens will sure feel safe, encased in those strong arms, characterised by rippling muscles. And my God, were those guys handsome? Soft on the eyes, with smiles that could charm maidens of that era. Looks like they were handpicked. "I took a trip to Rome last year and saw the Colosseum, an amphitheatre where gladiator fights took place in days of old. The monumental Roman Amphitheatre in Rome, is a golden-brownish building with perforated holes. I half-hoped to see Ben Hur arise from the arena and show his skills as a daring gladiator. "The gladiators of old were conquerors, warriors and celebrated champions. Though the Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary describes a gladiator as a man in ancient Rome, who was trained to fight other men or animals, in order to entertain the public, I beg to differ from that definition, in this creative message. "I dare to define a gladiator as a male or female who has fought and won a long-drawn out war. One who can say with confidence that some may trust in chariots and horses but I will remember the name of the Lord, for his name is a strong tower and safe within those fortified walls, I have won a war and can now share the story of my gladiator fight.  "This is a narrative of a female gladiator who fought and emerged victorious and whose story is told to encourage those still facing failure, that they will become gladiators, too. "Her story for me, begins many years ago…I walked into Protea Hotel that day and saw this charming lady with two prominent features. A glittering golden skin and a gap tooth that added to her charm and poise. From a distance, I admired her, and was soon brought in close contact with her. "The WhatsApp group was formed for singles-still-waiting-still desirous to use the way of righteousness to achieve success. I was one of them and she came on board too. | Actress Biodun Okeowo Opens Up On Dating Senator Dino Melaye Posted: 01 Jul 2021 07:00 AM PDT  Biodun Okeowo, also known as Omoborty, a Nollywood actress, has responded to rumors and a voice message claiming she snatched former Nigerian senator Dino Melaye from her colleague Iyabo Ojo.The actress denied being romantically related to the former senator in an Instagram post, saying she was astonished to hear about insinuations of kidnapping Dino from her colleague, Iyabo Ojo. 36ng recounts Iyabo Ojo telling Dino Melaye to stop refusing her in public or she will stop giving him her body in the voice note. Iyabo reportedly threatened to curse Dino Melaye if he continues to irritate her by cheating on her with Biodun Okeowo, a colleague, and Miwa, a prominent Kayamata seller. In response, Biodun Okeowo wrote in an Instagram post that she would have remained silent and disregarded the reports if she could, but that her silence would lead people to assume the reports are genuine. According to the actress, she met Dino Melaye during a wedding event, where they posed for photos with several dignitaries. She shared the photographs on her Instagram account, and many people mistook them for a sexual relationship. The actress further stated that she is not and has never been in a romantic connection with Dino Melaye, nor is she involved with him in any way. She wrote:  "Few days ago my attention was drawn to an audio recording circulating on social media which I also listened to myself, purportedly accusing me of being romantically involved with Dino Melaye. It was shocking to hear about insinuations of snatching him from my colleague and being in a romantic relationship with him. "Considering my current engagement with my businesses and acting career, I ordinarily would have ignored and keep mute about it. But I decided against such action as my silence would seemingly and inadvertently give it a semblance of truth…as silence is termed to mean consent. "I met Dino Melaye at a certain wedding ceremony in 2017 where we took photographs together just as I did with other guests and dignitaries at the party. Thereafter, I posted on my Instagram. Unknown to me posting a picture of myself and Dino only gave rumour mongers a field day to spread lies and unfounded allegations against me that I'm dating this particular man. "I unequivocally state and reaffirm that I am not and was never in any amorous relationship with him and neither am I in any form of entanglement with him. "I will appreciate it, if this settles any misconception, assumptions, innuendos and falsehood about my alleged relationship with Dino Melaye. Mbong did a video thereafter opening a can of worms on why she went silent "Hello Y'all My name is Mbong People who matter to me and are close to me know how I use my social media, they understand that I take breaks from time to time and I have been on social media detox since January. This time around it lingered for a bit longer than normal which is okay because I'm perfectly fine, there's nothing wrong with me, I'm just social media detoxing. I have heard so many disturbing reports about me but please take it from me I am well, alive and healthy. To everyone who has reached out to me, scared, worried and anxious about something happening to me, I am fine, I'm just off social media. The case about my daughter, personally I won't speak about it but I will just scratch this off a bit. I share a daughter with my ex husband, she would be 13 in August. She is a huge part of my life, I love her dearly and no one could possibility love her more than I do but unfortunately I have been faced with custody issue that has lingered for so long and right now my ex husband is going on a rant on social media acting like he doesn't know what happened. He fought me to a stand still concerning our daughter. It got really bad. I'm not going to put a time frame on it but its been long. This man insisted that I be a part time mum to my daughter by only communicating with her over the phone.  I clearly told him if he wouldn't let me be a full time mum to my daughter then I don't want to be part of it. I can't be a mum who hangs on the phone and only speaks to my daughter when it is convenient for him or when he has an event then he remembers Veno has a mom. I told him it can't work out I want to teach my daughter, have fun times and also a proper relationship with her but he denied me all access. To be frank I don't know why he chose this route, he feels my daughter can be with any other person other than me. By God's grace I'm doing well for myself I'm grateful for life I'm in a great place physical, mentally and otherwise. I have three homes in American I live well so what is his problem? Jeta knows he and I have absolutely nothing to talk about if it has nothing to do with my daughter. I am perfectly fine, why is Jeta looking for me? I only want a perfect relationship with my daughter. He has pulled me and dragged me on everywhere possible because of this girl. why are you looking for me? I'm okay. He has done a lot of things to spite me but I'm not that person to play in the mud with him, no I won't. My daughter is a huge part of my life no matter how he discredits me by making my daughter refer to his babymama as mum. To be honest i can't get involved. He wanted a full custody of my daughter and that's what he got. He fought me to a standstill and I was left high and dry. I want to let you my online friends know that I am perfectly fine, I am not missing from the face of the earth. I am home , I'm perfectly fine. Thanks to everyone who reached out. The brand, which launched in September 2019, sells bras, underwear, shapewear and various loungewear items including sweatpants, leggings and t-shirts. She would be designing the official undergarments, pajamas, and loungewear for Team USA ahead of the Summer Games. In a lengthy Instagram post, she spoke about her love of the Olympics from her upbringing and how her relationship with stepfather Caitlyn Jenner, a retired Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete, gave her positive feelings toward the collaboration. Kardashian wrote: "Ever since I was 10 years old, I've heard every single detail about the Olympics from my stepdad. As I would watch the athletes compete, I would grow to understand the dedication and honor being a part of the Olympics embodied," she wrote. | Obasanjo speaks on Buhari’s death, controversy about Jubril from Sudan Posted: 30 Jun 2021 05:30 AM PDT  Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, has described as ridiculous, rumour that President Muhammadu Buhari had died and was cloned by somebody else from Sudan.Obasanjo said the rumour became popular through the abuse of the social media, expressing surprises that many Nigerians believed the lies. The former President explained in a video, how he was approached by a very important person, who asked him about the truth about Buhari's rumoured death. According to him, the person told him that the information had gone viral on the social media. The Balogun Owu wondered how Buhari could have died and be replaced with someone from Sudan without him knowing about it. "Somebody came to me, a very high hub person, saying tell me about this talk of Buhari not being Buhari. "I said 'do you believe them?' He said, 'well, it is in the social media'. I said 'how will Buhari die and we will not know that Buhari has died and they will bring us somebody from Sudan to be Buhari?' "It's ridiculous to the extreme. But you have it in the social media and you see people believing it," Obasanjo expressed concern. While accepting the fact that the social media is good, Obasanjo, however, regretted that it is being abused. He advocated teaching the youths and the children about the dangers inherent in abusing the social media. "Social media is good, but it can be abused. We have to train our youths and our children about the dangers of the social media," he submitted.  |
