Singer Paul Psquare applauds Jim Iyke for dealing with Uche Maduagwu –“Talk anyhow you go collect anyhow”

Singer Paul of the defunct Psquare has applauded Jim Iyke over how he dealt with Uche Maduagwu pertaining to the slanderous accusations meted against him.

Recall that Jim Iyke visited the apartment of Uche Maduagwu to fight with him after Uche labeled him a ritualist. Maduagwu in a viral video opined that he made his money through illegal means. According to him, this explains the reason why the actor Jim Iyke flaunts expensive designer clothes that are mostly imported.

Reacting to this, Paul has hailed Jim Iyke for beating Uche Maduagwu.

He wrote;

"Jim Iyke for president. Na de way Forward. Talk anyhow you go collect anyhow. A very nice beating"

Comedian Basketmouth opened up on disagreement with AY Makun – “He tampered with loyalty”

Popular comedian, Bright Okpocha, better known as Basketmouth has opened up on the fracas between him and his colleague, AY Makun.

The duo was rumoured to have been at loggerheads with each other for years as they always kept their distance from each other despite being caught in the web of the same occupation (comedy).

Reports and rumours also had it that the Basketmouth and AY Makun developed their camps of comedians in order to distinguish themselves.

In a recent development, Basketmouth has cleared the air as regards the quarrel he had with AY while saying that they are on good terms now.


Speaking at Ebuka Obi-Uchendu's Black Box Interview series on Bounce Radio, the popular TV host, Ebuka tilted their conversation towards disunity among comedians and raised the issue between him and AY which caused him to give a clear explanation.

"I'd have stayed where the competition is. I still do standup comedy but not with great energy because I'm targeting all-around entertainment now. My competition is me. There's nothing [like a feud] between AY and I.

"He came in my space; messed with loyalty by saying something to my lawyer Magnus that I told him in private. It was nothing but it was enough to cause a rift and have me put up the walls. We made peace and he apologised. I have no single problem with AY as claimed. We don't talk."  Basketmouth said

Basketmouth also went further to address rumours about him snatching comedian Bovi from AY Makun.

He said:

"I did not snatch Bovi. Bovi is not a girl," 

"Bovi and I went to Abuja. He performed. I was blown away. When he was done, we talked about what he could do better. We'd been friends but that was the first I saw him perform. I didn't know any background story," he said.

"I proposed that we do business together and we clicked. I was already hearing claims before and after the settled rift with AY."

Basketmouth also noted that his main point of focus is increasing his audience/followers and not having disagreements with fellow comic stars.

In his words:

"My concern is increasing my audience, not feuds. How do I make viewers follow religiously? I have a film coming, a special coming next year 'The Voices In My Head', a sitcom coming to TV, another album. These I worry about."

Nigerian rapper, MI has advised his fellow citizens to get their Permanent Voters Card after he spent 2 hours at the police station last night.

MI did not state the reason he was at the police station last night, but he recalled the conditions there are not right. The rapper also stated that we all have work to do as a country and it could only be by getting our PVC's.

In his words, "Spent two hours in a police station last night. The working conditions, mental conditions dilapidation.. We have work to do as a country! Get your PVC. No really. GET YOUR DAMN PVC"

American Rapper, R5 Homixide, Died At 22

American rapper R5 Homixide has died.

The hitmaker – real name Rashad Dowdy – passed away at the age of 22 on Monday, his pals have confirmed on social media.

Fellow rapper Problem Child 5 posted a photograph of the pair with the caption: "Who tf gone watch my back now. Take me with you twin" alongside a stream of broken heart emojis.

Money Game Boo paid tribute to Homixide, saying "your heart was big as this world" and dubbing the young artist as "amazing."

It has not been confirmed how the musician died.

R5 was yet to sign a record deal but gained attention and acclaim for his song Lion Heart which he released in July 2021.

His most recent release, Chrome Heart, came out in August 2021 and has just under 60,000 views on Youtube.

R5 grew up in Atlanta and dropped his first album, Gvnganati 3, back in March last year.

During an appearance on YouTube show Lalaa Land, hosted by Lalaa Shepard, in June this year, R5 opened up about transitioning to music from "the streets".

He was also said to have been good pals with rapper Playboi Carti and fans shared their condolences.

One wrote: "Damn rip bruh, Carti lost another one."

While another commented: "Praying for his family and Carti."

Sharing his personal experience of how his parents reacted when he signed with his record label Interscope, Wale wrote;

Remembering when I signed wit interscope and a week later they asked me to get a job. They never impressed and that's maybe why I'm like this"

A Nigerian lawyer practicing in New York has hit out at critics after she was told to crop out her chest in her professional head shot because her full bust makes it unprofessional.

The lawyer was fully covered in the photo, with her decent shirt buttoned up almost to her neck.

Yet, a follower left her a message, telling her that she and her husband found the photo to be unprofessional because she's busty.

The follower went ahead to crop the photo for her, cutting out her bust area.


The lawyer named Olayemi Olurin responded, blasting the woman and every other person who tries to police her body and hypersexualize her for being endowed

Despite being embattled with a rape case, Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha, has taken to his  Instagram page  to pour encomium on veteran actress, Mama Rainbow.

Speaking in Yoruba, Baba Ijesha,  who is standing trial for allegedly defiling the foster daughter of Princess, hailed Mama Rainbow for her contributions in the movie industry.

He captioned the video:

Recall that Mama Rainbow clashed with comedienne, Princess after she granted an interview where she said she told Princess to drop the rape case against Baba Ijesha. Barely a week after premiering 'Essence' remix featuring Canadian singer Justin Bieber, Nigerian superstar Wizkid has unveiled the official tracklist for the deluxe edition of his successful album, 'Made In Lagos'.

'Made In Lagos', released on October 30, 2020, is the fourth studio album from Wizkid. The afrobeats star is about to make the body of work even bigger with the release of the deluxe edition, which would drop on August 27, 2021.

The 'Daddy Yo' crooner shared the track-list of 'Made In Lagos' deluxe edition on his Instagram stories on Monday night. Wizkid gave his fans worldwide a sneak peek at the fresh additions to expect from the soon-to-be-released compilation.

The deluxe edition of 'Made In Lagos' contains already released tracks with new songs, including the Justin Bieber-featured 'Essence' remix. The forthcoming album enjoys collaborations from burgeoning talents, Terri and Buju.

Basketmouth Breaks Silence On Feud With His Colleagues, AY, Bovi

Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha, better known as Basketmouth has opened up about his alleged beef with fellow comedians, AY Makun and Bovi.

According to Basketmouth, he has no issues with the two comedians only that Bovi snitched on him some time ago which really pained him.

In an interview with 'Black Box' host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Basketmouth, disclosed that the misunderstanding had been solved and they were back to being friends.


In his words:
 "There's nothing like a feud between AY and I. He came in my space; messed with loyalty by saying something to my lawyer Magnus that I told him in private.

"It was nothing but it was enough to cause a rift and have me put up the walls. We made peace and he apologised. I have no single problem with AY as claimed. We just don't talk."

"That I didn't invite you for my gigs doesn't mean anything because there are many others I didn't invite. Because we don't work together, there are certain things I could miss. Work gets in the way. You have oversights and stuff.

"I respect AY's hustle and support it like everyone's. But that's it. There is this friend of mine I grew up with like a brother. He messed up. You can't get that relationship back because I just  can't trust you that way again.

"I hadn't worked with Bovi in a while, so I called in 2020, proposing a skit. We're all hustling. Bovi stepped into a new world and got busy. He might not have my time. I heard stories that we had a feud," Basketmouth added.

"Before his movie premiere, there was a miscommunication with those promoting it. We spoke of it. I think I messed up there because I should have posted it. If people understand how I function, they won't claim I have a feud.

"Guys, time is not on my side. I'm running a race. I'm 43 and I'll be 50 in seven years. It scares me. We're living in a world where tech is taking over. There was a time standup comedy was the thing. But when last did you attend one?

"This is the time for me to create things and you think my business is with another man's hustle? No! My concern is increasing my audience, not feuds. These I worry about."

Arguably the fastest rapper in Africa, Sarkodie, has launched his brand-new album, 'No Pressure', in Nigeria, the heartbeat of entertainment in Africa.

Toyin Lawani -“My son will not call my husband ‘dad’ because his biological father is still alive”

Popular fashionista Toyin Lawani has disclosed that it would be unfair for her child to call her husband, his stepfather 'dad'.

Toyin Lawani made this revelation after a fan commented on the pregnancy photo shoots she had with her son. A fan appreciating the picture said that "One day, Tenor will call Uncle Segun Dad. GOD BLESS YOUR HOME Tiannah".

Reacting to this, Toyin stated that it is unjust to see her son call her husband dad.


She wrote;

"On this pregnancy series I'm here to touch all areas, someone made this comment on my previous post, And I had this to say, Why would I feel comfortable for my kid to call my husband dad when it's not like his dad is dead or something, I have never and will never stop my kids from their dads regardless of our situations."

"I make sure they have a life with their dads and I don't get involved, I feel its extremely wrong to support such, Every child deserves the right to know right from wrong, everyone's pain and story is different so they are free to make their decisions the way it dims them fit, you don't even want to know half of my pain but I decided to choose my kids happiness always and put things behind me to co-parent."

"For the greater good and balanced life for my kids, some people don't forgive easily, so I can't be the one to tell them what to do or decisions to take or what to do with their kids, But as for me, I can forgive but I don't forget, my child ain't calling nobody dad except his dad, it's still doesn't mean he won't respect his stepdad and know that's a fatherly figure to look up to, but it's best to let them know the truth and value it for the future the way you go with them might be the same way they go with their kids and they will think that's the right thing to do, always think about the future when making decisions, teach them love and compassion over pain.

Shade Ladipo shades Jim Iyke –“Get busy my brother so you won’t be looking for troll to beat up and down”

Media personality Shade Ladipo has reacted to the viral video of actor Jim Iyke beating up his colleague, Uche Maduagwu for trolling him and calling him a ritualist.

In an Instagram post, Ladipo advises Jim Iyke and others to get busy with their time rather than staying on social media in search of trolls to beat up in their place of residence.


She wrote;

BBNaija’s TBoss shared pregnancy story in celebration of daughter’s birthday — “I bled for 4 months, got electrocuted in the shower”

Big Brother Naija ex-housemate, TBoss has shared her touching pregnancy story in the birthday message to her little daughter.

According to the mother of one in a quite lengthy post on her Instagram page, one of the reasons she shed hot tears when her daughter was called ugly names on social media is because of all she went through during her pregnancy.

Sharing one of her sad experiences, TBoss said that she bled for 4 months and had to drink freezing water to help her baby because she stopped moving in the womb.

TBoss also says she got electrocuted in the shower and as a result, nearly lost her baby girl.


The reality TV star wrote on her verified Instagram page;

"I can't wait for you to grow up so I can tell you ALL the stories about my life and all the Adventures your Mommie had. All my trips, all my wins, fails, heartbreaks and disappointments. I wanted a son – prayed for a son, I had a name for him even But God Always knows Best and He gave me You so I can finally have someone to truly & completely open up to without fear of judgment or betrayal."

She also said a lot of people called her names and dished out insults during both her pregnancy and after giving birth.

The self-acclaimed "biggest girl in Nigeria" took to his Snapchat handle in the earlier hours of Tuesday, to reveal exactly how much the preparations for his 30th birthday will cost.

According to Bobrisky, he's spent over N32M for his 30th birthday invites alone, spent N14M for 400 bottles of the popular wine Moet, and has done interior decorations worth N50M.


While posting on his Snapchat page, the controversial crossdresser also shared a short video of two big birthday cakes, with bottles of Champagne already delivered.

All these expenditure Bobrisky says, amounts to N500M including the money spent on cakes and other expenses.

Singer, Davido forgived Isreal DMW after disagreement over Abba Kyari’s case

There seems to be a glimpse of hope for the Personal Logistic Manager of singer Davido, Isreal DMW as the former has forgiven the latter after a short-term disagreement.

Davido fell out with Isreal DMW after he took to his Instagram page to defend Abba Kyari after Hushpuppi fingered him to be involved in a multi-million dollar fraud.

Isreal DMW boldly stated that Abba Kyari is a clean cop and drummed unapologetic support for him.

Reacting to this, Davido called for the immediate sack of Isreal DMW which generated lots of appeals coming in for Isreal's sake.

In a recent development, Isreal DMW took to his Instagram page to share a photo of himself and Davido, which suggests that the duo may have reconciled their differences.

He also thanked Davido's lawyer via his Instastory.

Gazette – EFCC Returned To Dorathy Bachor’s House To Bully, And Destroyed Properties

Power drunk officers from the EFCC stormed the residence of Nigerian entertainer Dorathy Bachor located at Lekki, Lagos on Monday evening.

The officers were humiliated earlier on Monday after Dorathy shared pictures of their barbaric and unprofessional invasion of her apartment at 4:00 a.m. over purported search for Internet fraudsters.

The EFCC has been breaching privacy of Nigerians across the southern parts of the country for several weeks, with officers breaking into hotel and residential apartments without knocking to the trauma of naked housewives and young girls.


Last month, the anti-graft office suffered immense public ridicule for breaking into Parktonian Hotel in Lagos, horrifying Nigerians and foreign investors who had lodged there.

A spokesman for the EFCC later justified the act of storming in on naked men and women as necessary because some Internet fraudsters have perfected the tactics of using women as shields to evade arrest.

On Monday evening, the EFCC again justified breaking into Dorathy's apartment, saying only those who have anything to fear would be concerned about invasion of privacy.

Shortly after the statement was circulated, reports emerged again that EFCC operatives returned to the apartment, breaking in and harassing residents for filming their earlier invasion and circulating it online.

This evening's raid was captured on Instagram live by Dorathy's sister, and it showed an officer knocking a man separately filming the incident to the ground and breaking his device.


A spokesman for the EFCC did not return request for comment.

Charlyboy In Search Of UNICAL Graduate And Female Keke Driver

Charly Boy, born Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, a popular Nigerian musician, has hailed a graduate of Sociology from the University of Calabar for earning a living through the riding of tricycle (Keke napep) a business many ladies hardly do.

The lady identified as Amara said she got tired of teaching in a private school and decided to try Keke napep business.

According to her, driving keke is better than the teaching job she had picked up earlier.

Charlyboy, however, posted a video of the lady on his Instagram handle and praised her for opting to work as a tricycle rider instead of prostitution.

He lauded the lady for her resilience to work hard and not depend on men, calling on well-meaning Nigerians to search for her as he prepares to help her financially.

Writing in Pidgin, Charlyboy wrote, 'My People, just come and see. No be every young person for dis country be potopoto.

"See young girl wey fit be 'runsgirl, but instead chose an honourable way to make a living. Na dis kin people I wan adopt. God punish me if I no bless dis kin person.

'Abegi anybody wey know dis girl,' tell am say AreaFada dey look for ram. Inbox me her number, I fit bless you join."

Meanwhile, the AreaFada who is currently in the United Kingdom has reached out to the lady, and has started to solicit support from Nigerians willing to support the lady's business.
