| Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Information Session Posted: 04 Nov 2021 12:46 PM PDT Monday, November 15, 2021, 10am-11am EDT Virtual: Registration Required: https://meetoecd1.zoom.us/ Join this session to learn about the OECD and The Young Associates Programme (YAP). This two-year programme is for recent undergraduates who wish to gain a significant first professional experience in the world of multilateral policymaking, research and analysis. It is designed to act as a springboard to target future postgraduate study at top-ranked universities. Note that U.S. and non-U.S. citizens (who are nationals of OECD member countries) are eligible to apply. About OECD: Our work promotes policies to improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world. The OECD brings together governments, members of parliament, businesses, community leaders, civil organisations and academics to seek solutions to common problems, develop global standards, share experiences and identify best practices in a collaborative effort towards -- better policies for better lives. Through the provision of high-quality policy advice drawing on multi-disciplinary perspectives and peer-learning approaches, the OECD is a unique International Organisation that sets standards and defines best practices in almost every field of economic and social policy. A hub for the discussion of global policy issues, the OECD interacts with governments, international organisations, parliamentarians, the business sector, trade unions, academics, media and NGOs, and in doing so leverages its position to build an unprecedented network of knowledge, based on a deep-rooted conviction about the benefits of multilateral co-operation. This session is co-hosted by Career offices at Boston University, Brown University, Harvard University, Tufts University, Wellesley College, and Yale University.
